well if those newcomers keep on dcing yea i doubt theyll improve anyway
i doubt those were newcomers it's possible but i doubt it most new comers don't know how to dc. I was in 1-2 months before i was taught how to do it. i'd say they were people that'd de-ranked due to rank reset. and they are the type to not like the killer or map and i'm gonna dip! yea it sucks but i'm tired of trying to be nice about it when it affects my game just as much.

it has been A YEAR since they told us about mmr systems.
And all we get is we can't change killer after finding lobby.
How can people enjoy the game if they consistently pair with player 5 rank higher than they.
How can you balance the game if you can't control the match is playing with the same skill base both side.
How can you determine the skill base if the difficulty of ranking up is so much different between killer and survivor ?
There are so many issue about the current matchmaking system.
It should be the most important thing to pay attention on in the game.
Just imagine how ridiculous if league of legends's matching making act like this and stay ONE YEAR or maybe even longer.
And every time we complain about it all the responses is "rank isn't matter ","we are going to use mmr replace matchmaking system so we have not plan about to do anything about currently matchmaking system. "
So how long actually we should wait until this ######### matchmaking system get fixed?
THEY tried to fix it and it BROKE the system (actually I think they just said that because they kept saying they had it working in the background and testing etc just to shut people up and then just turned match making off and with the outpouring of the ire they turned matchmaking back on but they said it was MMR. I do not think they have a working MMR system nor do I think they will be able to do this.
also LoL is a crap show anyways, that's why I won't EVER play it along with other games. I say if you have a way to work it present it to them and see if they'll hire you in as a programmer so you can do that change! otherwise wait as long as you like and make your own choice

Because many of us play on console and it’s extremely difficult (borderline impossible) to receive and scroll through and enter in a 20+ character alpha-numeric code (only good for the first 20 players who successfully submit it) simultaneously with hundreds of players also watching the stream on PC who keypad it in mere seconds.
Majority of console players have wasted hours trying do what PC players can achieve instantaneously.
If you managed to get your charms on console, cheers to you! 🥳
they were putting up console ONLY codes as well as PC AND Console codes. so the PC people had to compete with the console and other pc users, where consoles got codes that were ONLY for them so I guess you can't put out the effort to do so and people got them before you. Personally I think that they should have made this charm something other than the damn fruitcake or the dwight crow. why? because even console users were given SPECIAL things for the codes given to the fog whisperers and the pc people didn't grumble what so ever, we welcomed the console only codes!

I said a normal match. If you got 32K and didn't double pip it's because of a blood point bonus of some type. You're acting like these achievements are impossible when in reality they just take more effort than you want to put in. And wow did you realize that in some cases you don't even have to sacrifice all the survivors to get a merciless rating?
Nice attempt to label me as a survivor main. Not sure what your point is there, but hey if you can't discredit the discussion, discredit the person, right?
i'm sorry was a normal match, i got 32 blood points, got 2 iri's and 2 golds, got a single pip. RED RANKS. too many people healed, to many ESCAPES (I continually got flashlighted), got a few negatives becuase i crossed by hooks but it was the heals and the escapes. i go a 3K and one got out the hatch. so you can move right along, it was a normal match for me. I got 32K points because i kept doing what I could they are the ones that prolonged the game. double pip was at 15 emblem levels, I got 14 thus only a single pip. game, set and match, blood points do not determine if you pip or don't or double pip. it's the emblems that determine the match result not your points like before the emblem system, no result is 0 emblem points to iri being 4 emblem points, max is 16 points, and in red ranks it takes 3 iri emblems and one gold minimum to double pip.

I never doubted it but enjoy what you have I enjoy what I have, I'm not on playstation so I can't look at your stats easily i'm not caring about how you play, I play pretty damn well but I will say this speak plainly and you obviously did not as you started with that you 4k easily and now it's you double pip easily. I'm so very happy for you now lets talk about the fact that things are disproptionate and a casual gamer like myself is harder pressed to do what the professional gamer like yourself does easily.. thank you for telling me that i'm crap and i should stop because i can't get double pips.

I get 4K's relatively easily but that doesn't mean I double pip every time i 4K. I am not arguing against chaning it back to getting a 4K for the adept, on the contrary I'm advocating it. so are you now going to say you easily double pip?

Tbh i think killer mains say shi- (BAD WORD) about hatch too often lol. That scenario barely happens unless its swf, and the team would have to wait anyway so lol GIT GUD and STOP COMPLAINing- Survivor+killer main
apparently you aren't much of a killer main.... and yes it does happen, not often where that stops someone from getting the adept achievement but it has happened to me where a non SWF survivor got hatch just before I'd have gotten them hooked and then gotten my adept. it's not about the survivor players nor the killer players here, it's more about how different the adept achevements are, if I see someone has all the killer adepts I say man you're good, if somoene has all the survivor adepts I laugh and ask if they were bored. the difference between these things are night and day.

I'm splitting hairs? Getting a high score (32K) in a normal match will get you the adept achievements, it's directly related. This isn't a survivor vs killer issue, the achievements are player based. Any PLAYER can unlock any achievement whether it's a difficult, easy, survivor, or killer. And yes, a survivor could do nothing all game and still escape, but changing the requirement to only be 4Ks would award a killer for a match where one person suicides and the rest all just give up because of it. And the second scenario is something I see way more often than the first.
so when i got 32K and only had the killer's three perks but one person escaped and i got one pip (missed by 1 point) and I did not get the adept i guess I was robbed? no 32K blood points has NOTHING to do with the achievement now, it can have an indication of if you will possibly get it but you have to get a double pip. if you don't get that double pip you will end up not getting the achievement. but for a survivor you can get 6-10K (done mostly nothing) and get out and you get the adept achievement. so tell me how it's fair that killers have to do REALLY well to get the achievement and survivors have to do bubkis and still get the achievement? This is the difference.... you have one person that has to play almost a perfect game, making sure people get hooked, gens get kicked, no one heals, they don't die too quickly and still maintaining the gens not done and doors closed and only then can get get their achievement, but another only has to hide and walk out an exit door riding the coat tails of the other three survivors and this is a balanced thing? nope not at all. wow.
and the original requirement to get the killer adepts WAS to just get a 4K and that resulted in the Merciless end result. you are splitting hairs and it shows you're a survivor main (atleast at heart) becuase of "no i don't want the killer to get a 4K only for his adept while I, the survivor, don't have to do anything but walk out an escape door to get mine and i'm just fine with that!" attitude!

lol i'm being toxic? for saying that it is sickening to see everyone demanding something for nothing? would you go to work for no money and nothing in return? YES it's great they put this code out there, NO I am not happy because I did what they wanted. least they could have done is made it different than the other ones so that I could get something for nothing. how about that? you want something for nothing, I want something for nothing but I had to do some leg work to get mine, and it wasn't hard but I did it. why is it that when someone disagrees with you, you call them toxic for being upset about something yet when you're upset about having to do something to get it you're not toxic. this is what I find so very funny here, because i'm the one that wants something for something I did and you decry me for saying it's sickening how many people in the world want something for nothing. yea... 5 minute time outs are not a big deal. Slugging is much more common, even if you are lucky enough not to see it. You can see the uptick, in comments about it.
you can see the uptick in comments about disconnecting even more. i remind you here that those that post here are a minority of the users in the game. I dont deny that slugging happens, I dont say it isnt semi-common. I've been slugged and i don't dc. sure a 5 minute time out isn't much, but then you do it again same period that's now a longer time out, then again, and a fourth time because you're upset. now your internet craps out because there is problem they can fix in a minute now you're at 5 dcs! you're getting up there in longer timeouts! gotta love it and you then complain how your internet went down and caused you an hour break (or more i don't know how fast it ramps up) and ######### the DC penalties!!!!! well it was your own arrogance that got you up there. just play the game you get tunneled... you're in a new match faster or just don't struggle in stage 2 or try to get off the hook in stage 1. it's not the best but dcs are worse than suicide on hook.

There are plenty of easy achievements in this game and some more difficult ones. What you left out is that survivor gameplay is different from killer gameplay. As survivor, your score depends on the actions of 4 other players. Getting a double-pip at any rank is easier with killer than it is as survivor because killer can control how the game flows. As a survivor, the other 4 players in the game and their actions are out of your control. Your suggestion to change them just seems like it's based in spite.
we aren't talking about score, we are not talking about anything but the adepts. it's not fair for the killer to have to double pip because of the emblem system and the survivor didn't get a similar adjustment (one tick in the devs are survivor sided). hell as I said a survivor can do 0 gens, 0 saves, 0 heals, 0 totems, 0 chests, escape and still get the adept. killer can't do that what so ever. people here are saying that killers need to ramp up their act to prove they are adept.... why is it then that survivors can do squat and still get their adepts? is the game play different? yup it is.... but you know what? that matters not when the system is unbalanced to the point that one side can not make more than a couple of minor mistakes and hope they do well and then the other side can make lots of mistakes and they still do well. yea that's the right thing to do and you're splitting hairs when you bring in other aspects of the game when the discussion is about the killer adept vs survivor adept conditions.

No need to get personal with me. I don't have much free time to watch a streamer put up a limited use code.
but you had the time to go back to a 3 day old vod, watch it for the code. when you can have the streamer up and have what ever else you're doing up at the same time and when the code is given then you go to dbd and enter it JUST like you did with the VOD.

Personally, I don't have the time to watch streamers drop codes which can only be redeemed 10 times. I was lucky as I managed to get the fruitcake charm by watching back a 3 day old VOD on Twitch.
well i guess you can't multitask! that's what I did... was watching That Violin Chick, while playing Final Fantasy 14 and had DBD up in the background and I got my code entered. wasn't hard and though I wasn't just watching her I had her up and could listen to what she was saying so I knew when to get to the dbd store and start typing it. Glad you got it but if you don't put forth the effort well in this case you're rewarded by this company. and those that put forth the effort gets to feel like it wasn't worth it now that there is a code for the same thing that they actually took the time to do. It's not even something NEW so they can have that and something else but it's what this company wants to do I can't stop them... I still haven't bought the most recent expansion/dlc maybe i won't still.

as @MandyTalk says, if it's red that means you are not repairing as efficiently as you could and thus your progress is slowed and the red bar is an indicator of this. much like self-care is red , or with sloppy butcher it's red instead of white. :)

being on the floor all the time is not fun. They lose customers.

enjoy your time outs from your dc! but you want to know something? I rarely get slugged.... usually it's a sweaty killer that is doing this to get the 4k, but you know what? it's not a probelm i'll just crawl away and hope he doesn't have deer stalker. you are the people that caused the issue of getting disconnect penalties. I support them and still call every dc an exploiter, yes you are exploiting an out of match function that is supposed to only be used if you get a game breaking bug or issue but no you use it to say you're a quitter, a whiner and the match didn't go your way so I hope you build up a large time out. I see dc's in about 25-50% of my matches for no reason. a few of those might be network issues but there is no way to tell
-
though i'm happy others are getting this, this makes me feel like a tool because I actually went and watched a fog whisperer to get the code and got it and it wasn't hard. people are being lazy and don't want to do something to get it. IF YOU ALREADY GOT THE CAKE FROM A FOGWHISPERER IT IS THE SAME THING FOR THIS CODE YOU WILL NOT GET ANYTHING!
sigh why is it that people are not trying to actually do something and enjoy the small bit of legwork needed. hell I got mine entered while I was playing FF14 as well

There is a world of difference between having a 4K and getting a merciless killer rating. Being able to 4K is not a good way to show that a player is adept with a character. Does slugging with the twins to 1 hook everyone seem like the definition of "adept" to you? I'd say no, not if you relied on cheap tactics to win. Playing cheap by camping, slugging, tunneling, or using a mori is an easy way to get a 4K. But none of those "optimal" methods are going to get you a merciless rating. Put in the work if you want the reward.
just escaping with a survivor does not show they are an adept what so ever as much as getting a 4k! hell a survivor can stealth around for the whole game, get out when hatch is there or doors can be open and you get survivor adepts... and that's skill? no it isn't, it's not the definition of adept either. why don't we make a double pip scoring event that says escaped and change the others to something else and then the survivors have to make optimal plays and get a double pip just like the killers.
-
@Mister_xD said:
the adept achievements never changed.
they always needed you to either survive as a survivor or achieve a "merciless killer" score as killer.
what changed were the requirements to get said score for killer, as with the previous system, the victory cube, it only counted hooks and kills, meaning a 4 man kill would grant you all the points you needed, while the emblem system takes much more into account - chases, kills, hooks, injuries, gen defense, etc, therefore making it harder to achieve it.
since changing achievements is not an easy task for the devs (due to the restrictions of the plattforms they are on, such as Steam or Playstation), the only thing they could do to make them easier for killer was by completely reworking the emblem system to make the winning requirements easier - which they, sadly, already said they wouldnt really be interested in doing, given the MMR system is comming out soonTM.
even though i would fully support changes that make adepts easier to get, i doubt a whole lot is going to happen any time soon :/
the MMR system is "coming out soon" is what they said before it was still months behind when they started saying soon, and when it came out it BORKED the game matching badly. really I don't know if it will come back out. I agree the change of getting merciless killer is the problem, survivors should have something more or the killers should be able to get a merciless killer score without the need to double pip via the emblem system. Honestly it wouldn't be hard to divest the match results and rename the double pip and then mark a 4k as merciless so you get the adept even if you safety or 1 pip. I think though that's so far down on their list to do because they have been really doing everything survivor mains have been trying to get them to do. It's only my opinion but there is something we are not seeing for several things, and it's disconcerting that they are being so opaque about it after they keep saying they want to be transparent.

It's not about "effort" but yes it's a lot of work, the games engine has been updated and things need to be completely reprogrammed. It's about resources and time particularly.
Please don't forget pretty much this entire year has been work from home, which is pretty challenging for game studios. And that's going to be the same for the foreseeable future as well.
Here the issue is they said in one of their streams that we will see the lights in the game, the theme of snow etc, just no major event. then we just get the login rewards which are cool yes! but what isn't cool is the fact that as you said things had issues and it's work from home, but there was no communication to let us know we would not get the themed assets that they promised directly. This is one example of why many people make claims that the game devs favor one group or another or that they don't care about the game or even "do the devs play the game?" and again it comes down to communication, work from home or not there are multiple teams, the dev team that would put those assets back into lets the community relations team know that this won't be happening, "please let the players know that we are unable to do the assets as promised.

I'd send a screenshot of the convo to Support as well https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us
I'm sorry you had to deal with that, sadly though these things do happen but our team does deal with these pretty harshly.
I have been told by two different devs that sending screen shots and the second ticket is not needed and clogs the ticket system. I on the other hand still do send these screen shots in. I have also been told by the ticket group to send in VIDEO evidence instead of screen shots for the END GAME CHAT! these things on top of the minimal communication has people in the game with almost 0 faith in the ticket and reporting system. @MandyTalk I would like to say that though I know that you can not share the results of any investigation but there is something that can be done. Through the system there is 1 automatic email saying it was received (when you submit a ticket) and then 1 saying they are looking at it, could be a quick button press that fills it out but i don't know. from there we hear nothing in cases like this, I propose to add in a SECOND non-form written email stating that "after due consideration action was taken (or not taken) in this case. thank you for giving us the chance to look into this." or something similar but that would make it easier to know that something had been done but does not break privacy as it says nothing about what was done, for instance the action taken could be that the offending account was given a 72 hour time out or something but we know not what was done so there is no breach of expected privacy but we know you guys did something and that's better than what we have now.

Again, the 10-15 minute WAIT for a lobby then a 4 min tunneled game is NOT worth my time. I am and have ATTEMPTED to play this game, for the entire time of the rift. Eventually to get bored of literally wasting your damn time and go play or do something else anything else that's more rewarding than sitting around waiting to try to play a game. I've stopped streaming it. All my friends have stopped streaming it. There's nothing more entertaining than people doing their taxes because there's more than ample time between 'matches'.
It wasn't so much a 'want' to stop playing, but find there is not enough return for the time and money I've put or would put into this game some near 5 years and 2k+ hrs later hovering between Red and Purple ranks depending on rank reset day.
BORING doesn't begin to describe sitting waiting for a lobby, then waiting for everyone to fill that lobby, then for a killer too actually STAY and lock in. Then once that 20-30 min shyteshow is over I get aboout 48 seconds to load in, get my footing, get sand bagged, tunneled and then face camped 1st hook last hook. There's no 'get gud' here. Theres no 'Well u culd hav played longer lul'
Yes you 'gotta play to get what you want' but the game has to LET you play in the first place.
So yeah, screw the rift I'm spending my time and money elsewhere and lots of it :D
do what you gotta do. I'm not forcing you to do anything, only trying to show you there is more to this game that what you have experienced. i don't get tunneled all the time, i do at times, but it happens. to come here and post on here to complain without even trying to do something different means you don't care and if you don't get to enjoy a game from minute one and that you can't win at it you will quit... i'll suggest something, don't get a pvp game and come to the forum to complain you didn't get your way. the game is about a killer killing4 people or 4 survivors out witting a killer and escaping. i've played for over 2500+ hours and I've had many super swf toxic groups that outclasses me and it just made me want to do better instead of QUIT. enjoy yourself outside of DBD you have made up your mind, and thus your post was worthless for me to reply to in the first place, even though i figured it might be but I STILL tried to bring a different option... I would suggest either you just drop the topic and move on to what other game you want or if you keep coming back here you will not quit and you're just whining that you lost.

I want to buy the pass, but I'm not going to buy 1/2 a pass especially when its all back loads to the end rewards.
Good luck finishing your last 9 levels. My estimates say you'll need 45 hours in 8 days to complete the rest assuming 2 games per shard at 15min ea match. Just like your iridescent shards its a time based reward. So expect more downtime between queues.
I don't blame you for not buying the premium without getting back the 1000 cells you'd get if you got to 70, but you don't have to spend 3+ hours a day playing just some days you do but others you just play a survivor and killer match and then something else just to get the extra 300 exp for each role a day. that's almost a full shard just to play two matches plus the exp in each match. and you have to get 10 shards a day... honestly if you budget right you will get it :) also remember that you get shards for each challenge you complete. and they are not that hard really.
-
@Mr_105 said:
I completed 1/2 the challenges in the rift, but only got to tier 32. If we just double 28 cus of the 4 lvls for completing the rift we get to 60, which still wont complete the rift and will be -200 auric cells. There is a lot of value in the battle pass, but that is only if you are able to grind about 250 hours ish. It is kind of insane how bad this progression is for players and the devs are just ending up losing potential profits through making the pass less appealing by making it feel unobtainable.
People buy things based on perceived value of an item and in perspective to the total value of the item. So when you buy a bundle for 10$, and then you do not get the entire bundle you just lost part of that $10 value. If players don't see that special something they want, and they for sure will not recoup their battle pass they'll more than likely avoid the rift. Especially when you consider the reward track is so heavily weighted on the end of the pass which becomes harder as you get the easy levels out of the way with the challenges.
I'd imagine less than around 5% of the monthly players who complete the challenge tiers even buy the premium pass just because the rewards are too unobtainable. My assumption isn't just 1/20. It's 1/20 of the most active fans of the game which is probably another pretty low percentage.
It feels like BVHR would want players to buy the pass and hopefully spend the recoup currency on skins over the 3 months, then buy back in next season. Even if players only had to complete the challenge pass to fully complete the reward track BVHR only stands to make money on the one time buyers and them just only buying the pass after that.
I do see the value of rewarding the most diehard fans who can manage to make it to the end of the pass. If it takes 250 hrs over 90 days, then the average hours per day every day is 2.777 repeating of course. That is 1/8th of a day, 1/5.76th of your waking hours give or take, and 1/2.88 of your free time if you have a job or go to school not counting travel time. Pretty steep for an every day requirement, and it only ends up hurting the company by making the product less obtainable.
So you only did killer or survivor side. the rift is designed to get players to play more than what they normally play. i got all but one challenge and i ended up at tier 56. two rifts ago i got to tier 61 before the shards ran out. i'm currently at tier 61 so i'm on track to get tier 70 at the end of the rift and i don't play dbd all that much. I'm sorry you are hurt over this but you just want to be given things for free, I on the other hand want to work to get what I get. I won't spend the shards to get the pass till i know i'm poised to hit 70. i've gotten 5K cells back and this is already the 5th rift.

The fact I now have to pay to get the Legion Community skin is kind of trashy considering the artist doesnt get a cent of it.
It's been a busy month. Match making has been trash taking 5-15 mins for solo. It's really hard to do a challenge with every killer tunneling and face camping in order to get THEIR rifts done too leading to 1-4 minute matches, leading back to that 5-15min queue time again...
That and I've honestly lost a lot of passion for the game and haven't played as much, however the previous listed reasons for being 'behind' on the rift are also why I'm not enjoying the game at current.
It's tedious. It's not fun. It's the opposite of fun. I'll buy out the pass only as far as the last Legion cosmetic part and then I think I'm done even launching it for a bit...
the artists knew what was going to happen. either the skin was going to go on the rift (best option) or go for sale. I am sure there is a contract for this. i'm soooo sorry you didn't want to play to get the skin, but you know what? that's your decision and thus your fault. There is a bit of a grind but not too bad. rift 1 and 4 had a huge grind, rift 2 and 3 were almost perfect honestly. this one is some where between those two groups and it's not bad. you just gotta play to get what you want.

I am just shooting here blindly, just trying to figure out a solution. I don't stream, I have no other background programs running while I play. I do not have viruses slowing down my games and programs. I have tried reinstalling the game. Nothing seems to be working. Sometimes the game works like a charm, sometimes (more often than not) it does drop the fps to unplayable numbers whether I am in a match or not.
there are lots of possibilities still. but you can not always corelate FPS with Latency when this happens i'd recommend sending your information in to the devs when this happens and see what they can come up with. without being near your system it is very hard to troubleshoot computer issues.

I just had a match on a team of rank 15-20 at rank 4 and depipped because I was on first hook and nobody knew how to save me... :). I seriously cannot believe that half of my depips at this point are because I get matched with teammates who are either new to the game or not sure what to do in certain situations!! I don't hate them either, I have played with some amazing low rank teammates who deserve to move up in the system, but it was very obvious they didn't know what to do. Sorry to vent, I love being positive on here but this is ridiculous!
mmr was turned off seeral months ago as it did not do what it was supposed to. now match making is back to what it was supposed to be and is plus or minus 6 ranks when you start searching (either side) now if you end up waiting a long time, that window is opened up and it IS possible with normal match making a rank 4 would be teamed with that 15-20 group. depeneds on how long they were waiting for a killer.

Well you fix one mistake, introduce several others.
That's kind of life, innit?
and alienate part of your player base even more. that is what i was getting at, if they had thought about it instead of thinking we have to fix this now they could have come up with a better way to fix it. and even some killers did mention that this fix is not too bad, but now they see the offerings to guide where the hatch appears and the keys not touched means they end up not being treated fairly. the big issue is less the change they did than the appearance of which side the devs want to cater to and though they thought this would be well recieved because it came out and addressed an issue I don't think it was thought through well enouvgh because of the backlash that came from it. much like the time recently they snuck in the aura changes and it was not well received.

Yes and when that happened people abused the mechanics/items/perks that were being changed and ruined people's games just to give a middle finger to BHVR. Like that kind of attitude is exactly why people don't like violent protesters.
If mori's had been a grand announcement, every game for the next three weeks would have been a tunneling mori hellscape.
Maybe the company is learning from their past mistakes, rather than repeating themselves just for consistency with the community.
but they didn't learn from their previous mistakes, because now people are using keys more and more because they know time is even more limited supposedly than it was before because the devs said they are still working on it. so what they should have done is to go in and implement the changes to BOTH at the same time and they stop the well now we'll use keys and / or mori's before the change as well as not seeming to favor one side or the other. That would have been learning from their mistakes but because of their mistake with the hey we are nerfing insta-heals and then only nerfing mori's when keys was a conjoined (but not the same) issue they have seemingly shown they favor the survivor and this is why killer mains are upset and many are leaving in general. I agree a change to mori's was needed but they could have made a better change to mori's if they had taken their time with it but nope they wanted to show the survivors they are listening to them and made a quick easy change that has made people now want their 7000 blood points back for each mori they now can't really use.
this is the problem when you implement knee jerk reaction fixes and don't even test them to see what the community thinks as well as will it hurt the game or will it work with the game. and people like you are trying to justify these types of actions when there is no justification (and yes I play both sides and I agree both needed to be changed and I might even go so far as to say this might have been an ok change).

So we agree on most things, especially about the mori. And I also agree w u, and u are absolutely right, that keys are too powerful.
As I said before, I am a survivor. I am also solo. I get betrayed by other survivors and get killed by killers, I really need the keys, plz don't nerf keys, PLEASE!
any change to keys is going to be a nerf though. thats the thing it will be a nerf, but it won't be a nerf that removes it as the mori was not removed. I understand you might like having it in case what you described happens, and I totally understand it just wish they would have done this better.

They mentioned it during livestreams. You'll need to comb through that particular one to find it.
You and people like you need to get over this petty complaint. It makes you all look like a whiny teenager who didn't get the Christmas present they wanted.
Again, you don't have to like the change or that it came without some big ol pomp and circumstance, but it's been announced for a while.
ok here is the thing: when they nerfed the insta heals "Hey we are going to change the insta heals in a few weeks and for the next 3 days the changes are on the PTB to be tested" now everyone started using their insta heals in all matches to use them as they were. now go to the live stream where they talked about mori changes "Yes we are contemplating mori changes but we don't want to talk about what those changes are going to be right now. We are also looking at how to change keys." (yes keys were also mentioned that live stream) and suddenly mori's got changed. no warning. so because so many people were using insta heals they decided to warn the survivors and say WHEN they were going to make those changes, but then when it comes to killers and moris they don't say when it will happen and just do it. so NO there was not actual warning and timeline for mori's to be changed, nor were the changes tested on the PTB to get any kind of feedback.
you are looking at things as if just saying they will be changed should have told us that they were changing them three weeks later. no that is just letting people know they are working to find a change that should be there but by looking at the insta-heal nerf and now the mori nerf they only want survivors to know about changes that negatively affect their game but they don't care about the killers what so ever because they just did it and didn't even ask for feedback about this.
another thing is many people were talking about keys and mori's at the same time with both sides saying yes both are overpowered, changing one and then not changing the other or even saying in 4 weeks we will change keys, pushes the idea that the devs are survivor sided. :/

Why do we have to nerf keys just cuz mori got nerfed?
Why can't we just bring the old mori back. Or buff the mori a little bit.
The pink mori should be what the green mori was. Hook someone once, than mori. But only 1 person.
Green mori should be changed to, hook someone 2x, than mori.
Yellow mori should remain the same, mori the last survivor.
The current mori change made the mori useless.
I've defend the killers regarding mori and the horde shut me down. I also want to defend keys as well.
as you say mori's were not changed well, but were changed quickly. The issue is not that moris and keys are two sides to the same coin. But the devs decided to take a quick way out and changed mori's and as you said the change really doesn't solve the issue. So now what has happened? killer mains are saying that the Dev's are survivor sided because they have yet to fulfill the earlier promise that they would work on the keys when they altered moris the first time many years ago. Now this is done and people are wondering if they will actually do something and thus are saying that the devs favor the survivors because of late it's just been killers loose this, then they loose that, this gets changed when no one was complaining about it.
The problem here really is that keys are too powerful as they are. They can open the hatch even after it's been closed once, they can have add ons that do things for the survivor how ever moris only unlock the ability to kill someone or 4 someones. IF there were more to a mori then perhaps it would justify things but as you say and I agree the most recent change basically regulated mori's to be used only for meme games and challenges and even then that challenge might not be easily completed because of the fact that you have to two hook people and we all know that isn't always easy to do.

I really like keys though.
well many killers liked mori's and they still got changed, so why is it such that the killers loose functionality for an item/offering that some don't like and the survivors don't get an item/offering that is just as bad and some don't like how they are? I mean if you say well you have to work for the key... no you don't, you can go into the match and then not do anything and when it's just you and the killer (because you hid, you can find the hatch and escape without having done a damn thing to help, i mean even if gens don't get done once one survivor is left the hatch appears and opens! no work needed what so ever. so yes it needs some alterations.

Okay, but then explain to me where is the difference between normal farming and forced farming.
In my opinion, every farming lobby is forced, since I can't just quit the game and find a new one, otherwise, I get banned for it - dc penalty is the problem.
alright. to be forced to farm is when you don't want to farm buit the killer keeps downing you and letting the others get you healed up and then downs just you once again, sometimes body blocks you so you can't get away and then you haven't gotten much but they got everything.
now a straight farming game is where everyone gathers around and the killer hooks each person twice, each person gets two unhooks and heals, gens, totems etc. this is what most people think about.
Now I do farming differently, I'll chase people, I'll play normally till I decide I've had enough hooks and then I just stop hooking people (usually after getting one for each (bbq stacks) I will then just down them and let them get up and keep moving, but it's a farm because I'm not going to go for the kill, so everyone is getting out, but it's more of a game instead of a farm just with the outcome determined by me. :)
the first one i listed is the one that's toxic and if you dc from that I'd suggest that you include that fact that it was your only way to get out (though all you realy need to do is crawl around for 4 minutes (I know boring) so when you report the farming, mention the fact that you dc'd because you couldn't get out any other way really. I mean if you've built up a huge penalty marker so you have a long wait time for a dc and now it's even longer and maybe the devs mnght remove a single penalty marker under your account I dunno what they could do to the player that was in that spot.

okay since people are questioning my hardware for this, I just want to make clear that I have a pretty powerful gaming PC; Geforce 1080. Intel Core i7-8700, 16 GB RAM, Windows 10. This is more than enough to run Dead by Daylight on Ultra and that is how I have been enjoying it for a very long time now until some recent patches were introduced to the game.
what other programs are you running in the background? are you streaming? on comms? solo queue? IT is correct that ping which is used soooooo incorrectly in these discussions has nothing to do with FPS. it has to do with how you have the system operating, what else is going on in the background and many other factors! I wish I could just list them all. but there are many factors that are not anything to do with the internet or even dbd servers.

Why would anyone farm in this game? It's so ######### boring.
I would rather uninstall and watch the game download again instead of farming in a match. Why even play anymore at this point.
What is your best point for farming being good?
"It's fun." - No, it's repetitive and boring. It's the same, every single match when farming, it's the same thing.
"Free Bloodpoints" - Bloodpoints are always free and can't be bought. You get Bloodpoints every single game, so what is this point? Doesn't make ANY sense.
"Easy & fast Bloodpoints" - Farming matches take kinda long, compared to normal matches. You may get more points out of one match, but it's overall not much faster than playing normal. Also, if you would just "Get good" as a killer, you get lots of bloodpoints quickly. BBQ and being good is a guaranteed 50k every match. If you are good and play correctly, you'll get 60k 7/10 matches, otherwise only 50k or smth like that.
Any more points to be proven wrong? Comment. Farming sucks.
DEACTIVATE THE DC PENALTY AGAINST FARMING KILLERS SO WE CAN LEAVE EARLY and don't have to wait 10 minutes or longer.
######### deactivating the dc penalty one in three matches i actually get a whole team (survivor and killer side) that no one disconnects. DC PENALTIES MUST STAY and be ramped up since people are not caring as much.
NOW to your post on farming. there are ways to farm to make it fun and enjoyable. Also a farming match here or there is not a bad thing. but every match sucks and I agree with that. but every now and then sure a farming match can be fun and the dc? well penalties are for things that you do that is against the game rules and disconnecting is one such thing so it should stay. if you find you are in a farm match you can just do gens, open a gate and get out. if you are forced to farm then you start recording them forcing you to farm and you report and submit a ticket about them so that you get it noticed. Devs have stated that farming is NOT a bannable thing but FORCING you to farm is another thing all together.

I still think getting a 4K with the three base perks should be an adept for killers since they changed nothing for survivors. They could have a really bad game and do almost nothing and still get the adept. and getting a 4K with some killers using their base perks only isn't easy at all. The emblem system hurt killers more then survivors.
I do play both sides and it's not easy to get survivor adepts in some cases either.
Oh I agree with you @Ryan489x !!!! Definitely! the problem is they tied the adept to the 3 perks and getting the "Merciless" status at the end, and when they added the emblems they did not remove the status as they did not have a result that says "4K and 3 unique perks". I agree it hurts the killers more in the long run and thus why it needs an overhaul.
and yes david adept is hard unless you have a 4 stack looking to get you out OR an afk killer.

I beleive they reverted SWF matchmaking back to the original behaviour so you are now matched with the LOWEST rank SWF survivor to improve lobby times. If I jump into a red rank SWF with my rank 16 survivor, we get rank 14-16 killers. If I don't joing the SWF, they get rank 1-7 killers.
the original matchmaking with SWF was the average of the participants in the SWF. they moved to put the matchmaking to the lowest (better) rank person in the group and that broke the system and this was in late 2019 i believe. this broke matchmaking and it was a wild west smorgasbord of just throwing people together. it was reverted back to the average that had ruled dbd since before I started playing in 2018 October. the MMR was put into play and it caused problems for the majority of players and didn't function as intended (devs admitted this) and they reverted that change back.

Have you heard of a depping squad? You realise if you rush gens and get out earlier you will also be punished right?
Survivors having a shot at hatch is the same as downing someone in endgame and basically getting the free kill because of endgame and staying at the hook.
actually no this is not equivalent. here is why: when you escape via hatch, you get the 5000 point ESCAPED scoring event which keys into the respective emblem AND you get another scoring event that furthers your emblems as hatch escape. BUT when you down someone during egc and let the entity take them the killer does not get the hook scorring event and thus does not go to the respective emblem, but you do get the sacrifice tick and points that DO factor into the emblem. so you are incorrect in your equivalency, survivor gets more emblem progress in the situation you brought up. you are correct though about pushing gens fast does "punish" people by limiting their emblem progress, though it's not much of a punishment when people WANT to depip.

so why do they even bother with the points then if they don't mean anything anyway. If they're just telling you how many blood points you got that's fine.
when the game first came out your rank status was determined by the points you got in your categories, this is why there was originally a cap put on the category. there was no emblem system and the match result titles (dead/sac/escape/etc) had no real bearing except on if you got your adept achievement. a 4K was malicious and that's all you needed to get adept on killer, didn't need to have a near perfect game where as survivors just have to escape then and now and they get theirs. These points served two purposes 1) described above, 2) how many blood points you get in the match then they started to look at things and introduced the emblem system which they kept the 2nd purpose for the points (blood points) but relegated the first purpose to the emblem system. this system was tied directly into the results of the match and what happened in them. this allowed to put negatives on the ranking system (staying too close to a hook for instance is a negative to the emblem but not to the points the killer gets)
so in short the points are there to show you where your points came from that go into your blood web, the emblems show you where your rank came from.

Your power gauge goes down every time you hit someone with a standard M1 on Legion. I just feel like that's an unnecessary handicap. Feral Frenzy already has a lengthy cooldown and is unable to down people. So why does it have to be hard to charge up too?
I think that Leg is the only Killer in the game that's actively discouraged from using basic attacks, which kinda sucks because a lot of perks are centered around basic attacks and don't work with Frenzy
the point is to prevent the downing of one, then immediately going into frenzy... makes the killer have to think is it worth more to go after the next one since i can't get frenzy right away or should I hook the one i just downed (or attacked).

As a killer, your main objective is hook survivors until they die, right? I remember in tutorial, it says hooking survivors gives the highest reward compared to other actions for killer if i'm not wrong.
But currently, there are so many things in the game to penalize or discourage the killer for hooking survivors. Example:
- Waste time carrying survivors
- Risk of stun save (Pallet, flashlight, head-on, etc)
- Risk of hook being sabotaged (Especially in PTB)
- Perks that work for survivors when there is hook event (Ex: Deliverance, We'll make it, Ds, borrowed, etc)
- (Maybe there's more, and you can help me add this)
That comes to my point. Personally I think slugging everyone is almost more rewarding than hooking. I can give up perks that works if you hook survivors (Ex: Dying light, BBQ, etc) because denying everything above is much better than effects of those perks. Although unbreakable exist, but it's only one time use.
So.. your thoughts? Should killers being penalized that much for hooking survivors, aka primary objective for killers? Or Devs are going to "Fix" this with more perks to counter slugging?
where as if a killer is too effecient they do get penalized, the survivors are also too effecient or sneaky (stealth) they get penalized as well. for instance a survivor that ends up on the other side of the match from the action by hook or crook, and doesnt' even see the killer helps do the gens and then opens the gate will be penalized because they will get no chaser emblem, will get no or little progress in altruism etc. they will how ever get light bringer well up and perhaps but not always survival well up this means they may still depip just for doing the job of a survivor too well.

I've been keeping my eye out and you get less points for a cage rescue vs a hook rescue. the hook is 1000 and the cage is 500
your points do not equate to emblem progress directly. you will have to look at the emblem points for the scoring events. for instance saving someone from a cage is less in points but it is still an event that progresses both emblems the same as a hook (killer and survivor) as it is the same type of score. the points do not matter, you can get 32K points and still not get 4 iri shards.
-
match making takes the central number, usually the killer's rank and populates the lobby with people that are plus or minus 6 ranks from the killer. now if you encounter a swf (group of friends) it supposedly takes the average of the people in the swf so two rank 1's and two rank 20's end up with the average of 9 for example. now if either side takes a while for a match up the system then starts changing the match window by increasing the size of it till a match can be found. what that wait time frame is no one has said though.
-
My expectation is low with this as they promised key re-work 3 years ago when they originally changed mori's but never did so thus my answer is i dont' think so.
-
the requirements for safety pipping and one and two pip ups change as you go up. if you are red rank or purple rank it will be harder to rank up compared to the rest, this is actually a good thing and not a garbage idea. though I agree there needs to be a change in the emblem system I will not call it a garbage emblem system. you didn't do any healing by your account so that emblem would be a 0. one and one half gens at red ranks might be silver thats 2 points, so of 4 emblems you only have 2 points and max points you can get is 10 more and that might be enough for a single pip. your chase points probably were gold (3) or iri (4 points) that gives you 5-6 points and you would have to get an iri in the final emblem to pip up.

If YOU want mori nerfed, and it got nerfed, so u should be happy. But u sound salty.
Why cant just leave keys alone?
because keys are broken as well they allow a loosing group to make an escape and WIN without any notice or counter play . NO using franklins is not counter play it is just damage control. Keys need to be changed. if they are not changed in the near future I am honestly expecting a good amount of the killer player base to leave and not look back. and I don't want to hear it was an easy change to make so why not push it early? yea no one will mind that we haven't even thought of how to re-work keys! we'll leave them be and "PROMISE" to re-work keys just like we did 3 years ago when we nerfed mori's originally! YES! this is probably what they thought about when they thought the mori change alone would be a good thing when (no they are not the same thing but they are roughly equivalent and most that talk about one talked about the other too!) deciding to do this.... I don't mind the change but they need to change devour hope so it works since the change but they haven't done that yet either that's a simple change... rancor is not affected why not change devour to mirror rancor's kill ability? simple change that should not have to have waited two + weeks for it to be implemented

You've just broken your own argument. For a new player learning the ropes takes a short enough time so that if there was a restriction let's say 20-14 cannot play with ranks ones full stop then all they have to do is play and learn the basics before being able to do matches with experienced players. It ain't hard and wouldn't be an issue for players willing to the put the effort in to learn so not only can they play with friends but also be useful on the team. The game is competitive and therefore should be treated as so until there's a causal mode added.
Course that solution ain't great by any means. Imo the whole rank system should be scrapped since it barely functions half the time and replaced with somthing all around better. But that would take effort from the devs.
I didn't say the infinites fix was the same level of difficulty so their your flat out wrong, I actually used it to show that the devs have a history with taking far too long to change really simple things so for somthing this important which is complicated to fix we should be vocal and get the point across to get a decent solution but also keep it talked about.
In conclusion I called your argument stupid or dumb because it was unfounded and simply had no strong point. It be much more helpful if you actually gave an idea of how they could fix the system instead of trying to invalidate someones genuine concerns by calling it "whining". Also idc if you know the English language as you can tell so do I and?
if I had to learn the basics of DBD in 2018 i'd never have continued playing or even bought it. I don't like pvp games and I prefer single player or story based PVE coop like mmo's. Only reason I got this game it to play with people I met online (twitch) playing the game and play with them, all but one of those friends were red ranks and they taught me the game and how to play. So no I did not break my argument you're trying to find fault with it by assuming things that are not typed. I would never 1) play this game unless I knew people playing, 2) paid to get the game just before spirit came out, 3) bought all expansions (but the twins) and 4) recommended this game to other friends. so my argument stands even with you trying to pick it apart. there are a great many people that like pve games but hate pvp for many reasons but dbd is just enough different than most pvp which basically pits people using the same powers to win against each other. I dislike the mirror match pvp idea it never worked for me and i don't like it when i learned pvp from everquest where it was the best computer and connection wins!

The "punishment" was from a developer standpoint, not from a player's. They want people to interact with that aspect of their game, so they are enforcing negative effects on the survivor's main objective if they don't all while making it harder for survivors to do so slowly and/or stealthily. They are also sending mixed signals that it's both good to break totems and bad, inevitably making it worthless for survivors to plan at all for the outcomes of unknown totems. It's a mess.
You seem to hold animosity toward me, though? I'm not one to complain about totems not being broken particularly since I've seen the brunt of too many haunted grounds and since I get out more frequently when I don't do totems.
Totems aren't really a "second objective" tho, and this is the source of a lot of the problems around totems. They exist as an optional objective--a prop that a killer can use to his/her advantage if the survivors underestimate it / don't give it due pause. That's what totems were designed to be. What they are becoming is another story. Due to the understanding that only having generators to do is not enough for competent survivors, the devs have thrown the brunt of what should be given to a new mechanic onto totems. And that's bad because now totems are overburdened.
You seem to basically understand that point, however. "[D]on't complain when there are hex perks in play who the [BAD WORD] cares then, just keep going on about your business," is what you say, and yes, that philosophy is exactly the kind of thing totems are. Devour Hope works just like that: if you want to continue doing gens without being a totem detective, that's okay. If you want to continue doing gens and saving people when the killer can least pressure the hook? That's going to be a lot harder.
Third Seal works similarly. You can avoid it to begin with and then play with it still active, but it could impair your ability to use your objective-locating perks and your ability to save others. Neither Third Seal nor Devour Hope directly affect generators, and neither hex causes (significant) effects if the survivor hasn't first entered into an avoidable action (chase, unhooking, etc.) with another player.
Ruin works differently. So does Undying. Both perks are an issue because they aren't the kind of "optional objective" totems were meant to be. They force survivors to either interact with them because they can't finish the game's effective timer (gens) or ignore them because paying attention to them would mean losing further gen time. They are a lose-lose situation that the survivors have no control over than to "genrush" that the killer gets for free (other than the cost of moving from gen to gen and chasing survivors, both of which are done in the typical course of action for a decent killer).
NOED
but yes, let's talk about NOED. It's not really high on my list for "fix now, devs", but that doesn't mean it's a non-issue.
Case 1: Survivors cleanse all totems before finishing gens. The killer doesn't have NOED. The survivors waste enough time so that the killer can kill everyone. The killer, by not bringing the perk, wins.
Case 2: Survivors don't cleanse all totems before gens. The killer doesn't have NOED. The survivors have wasted some time (cleansed only 2) and barely scrape by to a victory for a few.
Case 3: Survivors don't cleanse all totems before gens. The killer has NOED. The survivors wasted some time (cleansed only 2) and still die because of NOED.
Case 4: Survivors cleanse all totems before gens. The killer has NOED. The survivors scrape by to a victory (wasted enough time but the killer lost his/her ace in the hole).
- Case 2 happens most frequently. Then (in order of decreasing frequency) it's: 1,3,4. The moral? It's more likely that a survivor will survive by not cleansing dull totems bc NOED than cleansing them. You are more likely to hurt yourself by cleansing totems than benefitting, and that kind of lottery/gambling for all games on account of one perk not brought all that often is bad design. Forcing people to be cautious is fine design, but forcing people into a set of specific, time-consuming processes for potentially no gain (and no worthwhile experience) is not.
Personally, if I see more than one dull totem, I will cleanse until there is only one left (unless I know where all the totems are). It's better if I can go check to see if NOED spawned where I thought it might than have it for sure spawn on a totem I haven't found.
Undying
I see a dull totem and a hex totem. I cleanse the hex totem. The dull totem lights up. I should probably leave that totem since I know where it is and go find the other lit totem especially if the totem broken was Haunted Grounds. I see another dull totem. I know that there is now potentially only one other hex perk (or dull totem out there). I don't do gens and let my teammates all get downed and hook as I run around trying to find Undying. I find a hex totem (idk where the last dull is), but by that point, everyone else is slugged or hooked, and only one gen has been done. Was it really worth my time to not go help save or do gens to find that perk? On the other hand, was there really any significant gen progress that could get done if the other survivors were all getting downed before finishing their gens? There's no situation other than just sitting on gens where the hex's effects are avoided. This is bad design.
TL;DR
you don't really touch on either the practical aspect or the theoretical aspect....you don't substantiate your claim or give any valid reasons for thinking the way you do. I'm not sure how what you say is super accurate to the reality of the DbD experience for many.
you also seem to think I haven't been a red ranked survivor, and you speak as if you aren't one yourself...
it doesn't matter what people think, the devs themselves have SAID it is a secondary objective, you saying it is an "optional objective" but the devs who designed the game said it's a secondary therefor it is a secondary objective in the game. it has been stated this way since the inception of the hex perks. you could say hooking survivors is a secondary objective but the devs have stated the TWO objectives of the killers is to sacrifce/kill the survivors and defend generators. if the killer ignores either one of those objectives then you will "loose" the game.
NOED:
you forgot the 5th case: Survivors Cleanse as they go, get gens done, take 5 totems down killer had noed, but because the survivors were smart about the totems and didn't just go searching for totems but did them as they came across them or marked their location to return later (if being chased) then they get gens done, totems down and exit gates powered and open all 4 get out scott free maybe some hooks or if bad mistakes get made loose someone, but the point here is as I say get them as you run across them, get them down or know where to go look later. why is this such a hard thing for people to do? I'll tell you because for many players it's lets get the gens done, and then get out for the next game that'll take 10 minutes to get and only get 10-15K when you could have easily had 20-25K points more fun and still get out.... but nope it's all about the 5 minute game with 10-15K then 10 minute wait for a 5 minute 10-15K again....great thing I love not doing anything and getting less points because of people wishing to speed through a game, I'd wager many of these do speed runs of games like RE4 or other things.
UNDYING:
what you call bad design is your ideas of what you would have done is supposedly better than what is there. you are not the one making the game and though they value input you do not ultimately have control. again you talk about how totems is a waste of time, but again even in your example you have the right of it till you get people going down rapid fire. but lets look at undying/haunted grounds:
this gives you 3 instances of haunted grounds, and you had a dull you passed up and cleanse the first glowing totem, you find that it's haunted grounds (always GREAT to get out of the way early instead when there are only 3 gens left), you quickly go back (away from the explosion) to the dull to see if it's lit and you see it lit, well now it's time to cleanse the second haunted ground because instead of getting 1 minute out of the other it's 10-30 seconds when you pop the second one, now you know three totems are left, and all are lit.... if people are paying attention, they should realize at this time even if the killer brought noed it would never trigger because the remaining totems already have a hex on them and you don't need to cleanse them what so ever. Think about that one for a minute and you'll see the logic here... and here is how I know this works: I was on yamaoka homestead and as i went along through the match I cleansed 3 totems, (dull) and did 2 gens. as I was running from the killer (want to say billy or clown can't remember) I saw a single glowing totem, I marked it and as we'd have 4 hooks and no sign of huntress lullaby or devour or even ruin I considered for a moment it was the hex to make it slower to cleanse, alert when a hex totem is on and give blood points (can't remember) so I paid it no mind, then near the end of the match 4 of us still alive I found a second LIT totem! well that made me say NOPE! don't touch!!! turns out the killer had noed as well but since 3 were down, 2 lit noed didn't trigger and blamo we got out. same thing for your haunted grounds example for undying. the point is not to give the killer full time with their perks but as survivor make it so their perk is some what wasted.

Because by the time you find all 5 totems the killer has hooked half the team twice and you still have 3 gens left to go... just double up with someone on a gen... that way when you're discovered one of you breaks off and the other one finishes the gen... it's way more efficient than running all over the map looking for totems, potentially exposing your team mates or disturb them from working on near completed gens.
again you assume ONE person is locating the totems. I am not talking about one person doing it, the survivors are supposed to be a TEAM so it's in EVERYONE's best interest to share the work load. you complain about survivors not doing gens, well I complain about people not trying to do totems! why? because if each survivor were to take down a single totem and then one takes down two they end up being done in no time and people still do gens. that's great but everyone tries to say one person has to take them down, I say everyone takes their share down. I do, I will cleanse ANY AND ALL totems I come across, but unless there is a need I do not go hunting for all the totems.

I had a match on Badham, I was solo and everyone was red rank. At beginning of match a teammate was hooked, another teammate nearby was being chased, I was on my way to unhook teammate, and during this time the 4th teammate completed gen that's in the basement of a house. Rest of match I cleansed 4 totems between working on gens, chases, and saves. Last gen gets completed and NOED activates, teammate that completed that first gen gets downed and camped in the basement - this was her first hook all match. I go looking for 5th totem. As hooked teammate hits 2nd stage I find the totem, right next to the generator she finished at start of the match in the basement of the house. By time I cleanse it I don't have time to make it to her across the map so I start opening the nearby exit, other teammates show up at door as her time runs out. She died on first hook at end of match because she ignored the dull totem that was right next to her.
I always find it funny that killer mains will post screenshots of dull totems out in the open and how bad the spawn is. I can't help but laugh because most survivors will ignore that totem only to run by it multiple times in a match showing the killer their aura with Undying or it will be the NOED totem that screws them over later on. 😂
damn straight! good for you! and I honestly say that because you know what? I'm glad others do think like I do!
