Personally i'd love a dancer killer, maybe a ballerina based on Suspiria or the Black Swan?

I've seen nurses that hold their blink for what I think is the maximum, but not move at all when the blink occurs. Is there a reliable way to deal with this? Because it seems to me that if I double back they blink in place and are close enough for a reliable second blink, but if I never double back they blink the intended distance and I'm still in second blink range anyway. Is there some sort of middle ground distance that works best?
its honestly just a matter of reaction time - try and double back only at the last second when the nurse starts her blinking movement, and if she does manage to trick you and blinks in place change direction as fast as possible, she will be looking the ground so its pretty easy to lose LOS. I know it's pretty crap advice but theres not much else you can do against a good nurse

...How exactly? I'm all for representation, but only if the situation/lore calls for it. If it's something like Overwatch where it takes characters from around the world, then fine, go ham. If it's something like TF2 where women aren't allowed in combat positions because that's what it was like during that time, then no, we don't need a trans character.
The Last of Us 2 did this very poorly. Abby was modeled the way she was to be "trans friendly", and they have Ellie and Dina as lesbians, but a (massive air quotes here) "trans" person beating up on lesbians and killing people out of pure rage isn't the best representation, no?
Furthermore, WHY is representation important? So you can feel "connected" to the character? There are a million ways to do that outside of them being the same skin color or having the same genitals.
Food for thought.
other than overwatch and a handful of other games, there are very few LGBT characters. Even as someone from the community myself, I struggle to name canonically LGBT characters from video games as a whole. representation, while it may not be important to you is very important to others like myself, and not seeing characters that reflect who you are in the media can be disheartening. There are 20+ survivors in this game, and not one of them is confirmed as LGBT, despite more than 10% of the US population stating that they have experienced same sex attraction at some point in their life and 3.5% of the population being openly LGB. (https://williamsinstitute.law.ucla.edu/publications/how-many-people-lgbt/)
From my perspective, the reason that many people turn to DBD for representation is because a very large portion of the community is LGBT - even famous drag queen Trixie Mattel plays it on a regular basis. Out of all the gaming communities I have been apart of, DBD definitely has the highest population of LGBT members, so its important that the content in the game reflects the players.

yall are crazy lmao - screwing someone over bc you want a few bloodpoints? pretty pathetic

Still nothing for Meg, and still nothing for Nurse.
do you know how long it has been since nurse has gotten a new cosmetic? it feels like its been ages but im not 100% sure

He should probably down the player if he isn't taken off in some sort of time limit. He is the best part of her, so I don't want some Survivor to steal the gremlin.
that would be a good idea, but i don't think the timer should go down during a chase so that Charlotte still has to work for the down rather than waiting for the timer to go down

id like to see more perks focused around giving survivors unique abilities and actions - similar to any means necessary. Perks of even mechanics like that could really shake up the gameplay loop for survivors as well as provide more opportunities for strategy and builds. Some examples of these perks include any means necessary, diversion, head on and for the people.
-
yall can disagree if you want, i dont blame you tbh, but i love playing nurse - the satisfaction from hitting blinks is amazing

U could delink his weapon??!
you cant, unfortunately, but i think they should - it doesnt make sense to lock it into a set when it works perfectly well with other cosmetics
-
honestly i just tunnel them - its the only time I will ever tunnel someone (unless they sandbag or farm a teammate) and honestly if they are in a SWF running object they kinda deserve it. They take my fun out of the game? i take theirs.

Ok so most of the sets are sets for a good reason. The Clown's outfit IS a set because the neck is connecting the head and the torso, so if you were able to mix and match this outfit, it would probably not look ok and the cosmetics will not be clipped the right way. It's ok to be vocal, but about the things that are considered a downgrade. This outfit doesn't hurt you or help you in any way so you are free to feel however you want, but I gotta say it: People complaining about sets annoy me more than the sets themselves. (No offense)
same for the last point - people complain about the fact that the oni skin is a set, but in what would would it work if it wasn't a set? his skin colour is completely changed, his head size changes, and more. I can understand people saying that the sword should be interchangeable tho.

Mine is nurse - i love the risk vs reward of playing her, and how satisfying it is to get long range blinks and successful predictions as her. I find her difficult to play, but super rewarding. As a survivor i love going against nurse, even when i die instantly it amazes me how good some people are, especially as I play on console.

Iirc it's technically a bug, but her glass shards change colour/transparency when she phases, easiest to see when you're close to her.
unfortunately this isnt very reliable, Scott Jund did a test, the shards only slightly change on a few skins, and does not always happen 100% of the time

Survivor: Erin
Killer: The Animals
Map: Davison Manor
Great movie, but there was never a franchise and it was always a bit under the radar. There's just not enough motivation for them to get something like this.
Erin couldn't be a survivor - she'd just kill the killer lmao
-
I think it would be cool if as the obsession you have access to an ability or something that other survivors can't, making it so that being the obsession encourages a different style of play. Maybe it could be something like exhaustion moving down while sprinting if you are the obsession to encourage them to participate in chases
-
Bots have been found in the PTB files! for both killer and survivor! this could mean an offline mode, or potentially a practise mode, dataminers havent found anything else yet.
-
maybe something with trapper using his traps on the survivor?
-
I think a tracking perk would be better than thana, especially if you are focusing on endgame scenarios. I personally like whispers and BBQ, but it's up to you
-
Maybe a piercing shot would be cool? like going through multiple survivors at once or going through walls?
-
Mine would have to be cleansing a totem, the last gen pops and i see those little candles light up 😌
-
IMO, whispers is a perk that is amazing on almost all killers, but it comes down to personal preference. If you find that the sound of whispers affects your ability to hear survivors, you might want to bring another locating perk like discordance or BBQ.

Worst thing about PH is how easily you can abuse his projectile attack. Its easy to dodge but when he holds it at Pallets or Windows it doesn't matter what you choose to do because he can just cancel his attack and immediately hit you.
Choose to vault the Window? Projectile will hit you. Choose to fake the vault? Instant cancel into M1. There seriously needs to be some kind of minor punishment to prevent this kind of thing. Yes, PH isn't overpowered by any means but he ruins the PvP aspect of the game by making it brainless for both sides.
Also, ######### the bugs this update. Killer is unplayable thanks no sounds. Thanks BHVR
but that's literally Huntress? Huntress is arguably stronger than PH because she has superior range and shorter cooldown, meaning that would you argue huntress is abuseable?

What nature of Konami?
They tend to be very protective of their games and lisenses and don't give them out to other companies often
-
He has two moris - his one with the barbed wire and metal wrapping around the survivor is his regular mori (offerings, devour hope, rancour ect) and a base kit mori, useable if a survivor is on their death hook and downed when affected by torment. this is much faster with a single strike to the survivors back
-
6.B - No, you cannot mix and match the new skins at all (which sucks lmao
4 - idk, people expected a lot more for an expensive price tag but ultimately were let down. I think this is because of the liscencing deal however, not the devs being lazy.

it sucks but these outfits can also only be worn in their entirety or not at all.
-
maybe you could go for quick and quiet or dance with me? to focus on juking and messing with the killers head?

by biggest bruh moment is going for a grab, getting the animation of my hand going on their shoulder but the just run away and im stuck standing still

Yes, the Rift Cosmetics will be available in the Shop after a while. They were talking about at least 6 months after they were released in the Rift.
Seasonal Cosmetics (like the Halloween-Nurse Skin) will be available when it fits (so Halloween).
Thanks! ill have to wait a while but i can't wait to buy the skin i missed!
-
ill be happy if they giver her the original base kit back, but BHVr can keep the old addons, they were horrendously OP
-
Mine would have to be Spirit, Hag, Huntress and Plague as I play them the most and find them fun, but no super bullcrap for survivors to deal with

i feel called out rn

i like using feng mins pink outfit with the mask, but ik its really common

@Peanits is a red rank Huntress, so... y'know.
He's better at Huntress than most people I've seen at least, which, considering how difficult she is to actually be good at, is not an easy feat.
it may have been an older one, sorry

Either way, what does M1 mean? I've seen it used a few times and have no idea what it is referring too.
Just to be more of an idiot, do you mean cleanse like a totem, or cleanse like when you wash your face in those fountains?
an m1 attack is just a basic attack

It's really bad. Good luck with a 2k hr survivor with Iron Will at a jungle gym. Does anyone on staff play Nurse at red ranks? Was it a consideration?
i saw in an interview that noone on the dev team has gotten above rank 8, or some other purple rank

I disagree. But regardless, Spine Chill is not a needed perk at all unless the killer is Spirit. That’s just stupid. It is not comparable to his ruin example whatsoever. That’s all I’m saying. Gen stalling perks and anti tunnel/camp perks are. These are universally used and don’t require a specific killer or specific survivor perk and combat issues each side feels they may have with the game. Spine chill and ruin isn’t even close to the same.
Spine chill is just a great perk all around though, especially against other killers like wraith, myers, ghostface and pig

you are compelety wrong go play against good spirit ( every spirit with 1 brain cell) and come here again to tell us what you think. You only win vers her because she is bad or she doesn't know how to phase.
ok, but if a spirit has put the time into the game to learn how to use her properly, why shouldn't that player be rewarded with kills? I get that she is broken in some aspects, mainly survivors not being able to track her but she does take some skill to use
-
imo, the whole point of killer is to be in control of the game. Nurse got nerfed because survivors had to play the Nurse's game, not how the survivors usually play. I see this in my nurse games with no juking or mindgames on the survivors side whatsoever. Now, nurse is arguably on the same level as legion when comparing her movement potential to survivors movement potential. The whole point of fatigue was to give survivors a chance to lose LOS, but apparently that wasn't enough. I say, that they should keep her addon changes as the original ones were complete BS, but keep her power the same.
