Oh the last one is simple: Dredge - Running the Cafeteria
I had a few experiences in my years in school with cafeteria food... TL;DR if you're in school and get a '"Veal" cutlet sandwich' that was speckled with every pastel color of the rainbow (and I wish I was kidding; blue, green, and yes, VIOLET!... and I think it was supposed to be made of chicken, iirc? This was years before even the idea of vegetarian/vegan options was even thought about, so pretty sure chicken), it's time to bring lunch to school 😖
Putting this memory into consideration, I have to feel like Dredge has a handle on that part of the school day.

As Mooks has already said; we do not discuss Bans here on the Forum.
And as stated in our information here, Bans from our Forums or Social Media cannot be appealed: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/140-ban-appeals
Edited to add: failure to adhere to Steam rules can result in a ban, including uploading inappropriate artwork. Mandy

I.... I am one of those Survivors that gets faked out by Padded Jaws and the chainsaw add-ons for Hillbilly and Leatherface that only injure for one health state... I will stand there thinking I'm downed and lose valuable time before my brain finally yells "Run you're still up!" and by then I'm hit again and then in the dying state 🤣 So those are always fun go-tos when I'm itching for chainsaw time lol
Other than those, I have to say:
- Nurse: Anxious Gasp
- Trapper: Iridescent Honing Stone
- Hag: Grandma's Heart
- Huntress: Infantry Belt... I am still hatchet potato lol
- Doctor: Interview Tape (this doesn't get used a lot which means its very unexpected by Survivors and changes things up a bit)
- Wraith: The Beast & Shadow Dance (I admit I initially turned my nose up at The Beast add-on, but after giving it try, its a lot of fun!
-
Stepping in for a moment; let's keep the discussion civil and on topic, please.

This is indeed a bug, and has been reported and taken back to the Team for review.
But if you are always unsure if something is a bug or if its been reported yet, absolutely feel free to check the Bug Reports category: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/categories/bugs

As the topic as gotten out of hand once more, I am locking the the thread here.
Please remember that everyone is welcome to speak their civil and constructive thoughts & opinions. However, please keep the discussion and disagreements respectful when doing so; of others here on the Forum, and other players of the game. Thank you.

Please keep the discussion civil and respectful, and a reminder to be open to civil and constructive conversations and debate. Thank you.

Hey @VibranToucan
Thank you for your report!
When you have a moment, could you provide some more information?
- What platform were you playing on that you experienced this issue?
- You mentioned the player did not scream; did they have any perks like Calm Spirit in their perk loadout that you can recall?
Thank you!
-
Hello @Goretrude
When you have a moment, could you let us know what platform you were playing on at the time, and also if there may have been any indication of high ping or packet loss that you can recall (icons near the Survivor Portraits). Thank you!
-
Closing the thread here, as comments on the thread were getting out of hand.
Pease remember to keep comments civil and respectful of others: Other members of the Forum, their thoughts & opinions, and other players, and so on.
Also, remember that things such as Bodyblocking to take a hit from the Killer instead of another Survivor, slugging, tunneling, and camping are not reportable offenses: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/139-game-rules
-
This is absolutely a bannable offense, as others have said. If a Killer or another Survivor blocks you in a corner before End Game Collapse and continues for well more than a minute or two, that is Griefing, as stated in our Game Rules: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/139-game-rules
For these kind of offenses, the in-game report is Required, with a Support Ticket Optional, but one can be sent as well with any screenshots, video , or additional explanations you wish to add to the report.
-
I kind of think of myself of a Killer of many colors 😅 How I play a match as Killer comes down to so many different variables (i.e. Am I going for an achievement, ritual, or challenge? Am I more (re)learning a Killer and anything in the match is a learning experience? Are the Survivors giving their all and playing incredibly well, and I want to -at least- attempt the same? Or, are the Survivors memeing and I'm not one to turn my nose up at some wholesome meme-abouts?)
No matter what though, I still prefer to play in a way that is fair and respectful of others (but, you know, still a Killer, probably even trying out a devilish new build), within the game rules (of course), and just have fun with it, and hopefully others will have fun too <3
-
Stepping in with a reminder to please keep the discussion civil and respectful. You can discuss things in a civil & constructive manner, without the use of belittlement. Thank you.
-
As Smoe pointed out, there is an in-game notification regarding reports. Harassment, especially in cases of Racism or Threats, are not tolerated whatsoever and when reported properly (In-game Report - Required, Support Ticket - Optional), they are looked at and handled, even if the player has their name hidden, or is on another platform (i.e. Globe Icon).
To review the Game Rules, and how to report a player breaking the rules, you can find them here: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/139-game-rules

Due to some comments made by the OP, the thread will be closed here. Please remember to keep comments civil & respectful.
Everyone can discuss things & agree to disagree, without anyone breaking this rule.
-
Hey @SuperCop,
When you have a moment, would you be able to add some further information?
- What Killer(s) did this issue occur with?
- What Map(s) were you on when these occurred?
- Can you recall how many times this occurred in a match?
- how many there was no issue? (also if there were the same or different killers from matches the issue was happening with)
Thank you!
-
Closing here; this is indeed marked correctly as Not A Bug, as it is how the perk works.

I am playing on the pc steam version 7.5.0 and I have footage from earlier verisons and the current to compare them, I don't know how to send vids as proof tho.
Thank you so much for the information!
If you would like to upload video , the best way would be to upload it to a video host like YouTube, and then link it here (and if its a long video like a full match, you can highlight any timestamps of note).
-
I admit I'm a... a LOT more attached to Brutal Strength & Enduring on all my killers... and Hillbilly is no exception 😅
I kinda like to let the devil on my shoulder take over, and I have run Hex: Huntress' Lullaby and Hex: Undying in the other two slots, or Lullaby and Tinkerer along with the add-on that keeps the chainsaw quiet until within range of a Survivor :3
-
Hey @maikl100,
Thank you for your report! When you have a moment, would you be able to confirm this issue is occurring after the 7.5.0 Update released earlier this week? And also, what platform you are playing on? Thank you!

Closing the thread here. Please remember to keep posts civil & respectful towards others; including Developers. Thank you.

I hate these forums. It always deletes what I say if I go into edit mode.
Nothing was deleted, as noted above.
We do have a Spam Filter on the Forum that will often catch messages from newer members, those with lower post counts, or those that make frequent edits. When these occur, we have to permit them manually until the user has a certain amount of posts, and they won't have to worry about the Spam Filter catching things after that.

Hey Tomtrax!
When you have a moment, can you provide some more information for this report?
- For clarification, when you say "when I'm down"; do you mean you are in the Dying position (on the ground)?
- Did you activate Plot Twist that caused you to be down (remember you have to crouch while injured to activate the perk), but it was still greyed out and not progressing?
- What platform are you playing on?
- If you are able to recall, what Map(s) was this experienced on?
Thank you so much!

The best place to report issues is on the official Forum's Bug Report Category: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/categories/bugs

The best way to report a Hacker or Cheater is the steps that are listed in the Game Rules: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/139-game-rules
The In-game Report is required, as well as video evidence submitted in a Support Ticket: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/
The In-Game report is required for all report types, and either required or optional Support Tickets, depending on the rule that was broken. For Cheating or hacking, the video evidence is required as Bans are not given without clear proof of a player(s) wrongdoing. And a reminder that even if their name is hidden or are on another platform, they can still be reported.
And a reminder that the Forum is NOT the place to report players, and doing so may cause the person to wind up breaking our Forum rule on Naming & Shaming.

There is nothing wrong with jumping around to different Killers every match or so! Variety is the spice of life, and the same is true in the Entity's realm. That is how I tend to play myself, with a short list of go-tos, and one sorta main Killer. And, honestly, you are more likely to find a potential new main when you are playing various killers at a time.
Finding a main can come down to a few different things, and they vary from player to player, but for me it comes down to:
Killer Power: Whether I enjoy it, or I am literally a potato with it and I'm just stubborn and simply main them want to get better. And for my (more or less) main of The Trapper... the latter was true, and then became the former 😄
The Character: Whether an original character or a well-known licensed character, often that is enough for many. Adding to this, sometimes the lore, especially of original characters, can add to this a lot! Both of these are true for me and Trapper's appearance and lore.
Versatility: Some people will feel that a Killer fits well for them for a myriad of scenarios (maps, Survivor perks, Tome/Ritual challenges, etc). And depending on a person's playstyle or preferences, this Killer will vary widely. For me, I have years of rough knowledge with Trapper's bear traps, and the trial-and-error of what spots tend to work better on certain maps. Same could be said for Oni, Hillbilly, or Blight, too; they know how to read Survivors after one or two chases, and know the map well enough to use their speed to their advantage, and possibly cut off a Survivor in chase from getting to an area where they would have more advantage.
I think at the end of the day, ask yourself a few questions, and these may possibly help:
- What is a short list of Killers you enjoy playing?
- What is your preferred Killer playstyle (stealthy, speedy, surveillance, mostly pressuring the map, mostly chasing, etc)?
- What killers do have you want to learn to play a little better with or learn to overcome certain match scenarios with?
- Are there Killers you... well, you just like because of how they look, their available cosmetics, etc?
-
I have a few that vary through rotation, including being festive for whatever season it may be, or Halloween ones because I'm just feelin' them, but a few I keep on one of more characters always:
- WARRIORPUPPERS (To stay comfy, and keep the Light in the Fog with us, always <3)
- PrideBirb
- Blighted Jack-o-Lantern on Oni (for my Oni Pumpkin Sculpture)
- 3 various yellow-colored charms on Singularity (kind of a long story, but it relates to a health issue I got surgery for last year when the Singularity PTB came out, and the disease's awareness color is Yellow like the metal body of Singularity)
- The DbD Legion Comic book charms on Legion (that came with physical copies of the comic)
- And the last one.... I'm surprised no one else posted it yet:
-
Stepping in for a moment to remind everyone to keep the discussion civil, respectful, constructive, and on-topic, please.
Also, a reminder that the admission or promotion of Unsportsmanlike Conduct is against Forum Rules. Thank you.

Hey @FireflyDreams!
Thank you for your report! No worries about not having video, but if you can get video or even a screenshot of the pallet and its location, that would help a lot! Also, the platform this occurred on, and if you know the add-ons Legion had when these happened.
Thank you!

I definitely reported them but I couldn't screen record unfortunately but I did get a picture of their names
The in-game report for Griefing (such as working with the opposing side to gain an unfair advantage or grief teammates) is all that is required; submitting a Support Ticket is optional for this kind of offense. And while video evidence is needed for some rule violations (i.e. reports of cheating or hacking), or can be helpful to add, it is not required for this particular kind of report. With the in-game reports of the players in question that flag the match, Player Support will be able to look into it, and issue a consequence if a player is deemed to be breaking the rules.

I’ve been meaning to try The Cosmic Wheel of Sisterhood! I just started Cult of the Lamb and I have to say it is so fun with a really interesting vibe.
And wow Paleo Pines looks fun. I love games like Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons. My “sim” game that I’m playing right now is Harvestella. I’ve fallen completely in love with the game 😌❤️
I looked up Harvestella (I have heard of it before but never seen game footage), and OH MY GOSH I love the idea of a Final Fantasy-esque faming sim! I don't think I have anything that could run a game like that right now without throwing a fit, but it is gorgeous!
Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood is a really nice game and with a great (and sometimes, heartbreaking) story. And glad to hear you are enjoying Cult of the Lamb! Don't forget when a follower asks to eat a bowl of... um... 💩... there are two recipes that call for the ingredient... make sure its not the one with the 75% change to kill the follower 😅During my first playthrough, I was wondering why I had many more follower graves than others I saw playing the game... lesson learned! rofl
And Paleo Pines is incredible! Once you are out of the (very short) tutorial, you get quests and aside from that, can go and do almost anything from the get-go.
-
I have a few I've been playing recently: Pinball M, Inkulinati, Have a Nice Death (great writing and art <3 ), Cult of the Lamb, The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood, and I FINALLY got the free time at the start of the year to sit down and play Paleo Pines! All I can say is this:
Any game where you can head pat a T-Rex as much as you want is a win in my book :3

Anonymous Mode does not prevent a player from being reported for breaking the rules in game, and wishes or threats of harm absolutely violate the Game Rules and are taken very seriously.
Regardless of the report reason, an in-game report on the player(s) breaking the Game Rules is REQUIRED, as it flags the match and player. For this particular offense, the in-game report is all that is required(Support Ticket is optional), and Player Support can view the player's information on their end; whether they are playing with their name hidden, or on another platform.
To review the Game Rules and how to report, you can find the information here: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/139-game-rules

I don't run it too often as Killer, but I do like it. As Krazzik mentioned, oftentimes a Survivor will wait until after another Survivor is hooked to open the door, or wait until any teammates still in the match are safe. BUT..... often isn't always, and I've actually gotten value with it quite often in Killer matches that make it to all the gens completed!
As Survivor, I don't mind it really, as I am usually the aforementioned Survivor that takes those precautions... except when I don't or forget 😅 and like rain on your wedding day, I find myself face to face with the Blood Warden block and I just facepalm myself from the irony and laugh because that was on me lol
-
As this thread is not encouraging constructive commentary, I will be locking the thread here. While I understand the OP's dislike for the abbreviation, as others have stated, it is just a shorthand that is frequently used by players (especially for platforms with character limits on posts). It is not seen or deemed a 'slur' or inherently negative, and a post of this nature will very quickly devolve into users finding themselves breaking the Forum Rules.
-
I'm sorry you are dealing with this frustration.
But to clarify, Support absolutely does handle report on cheaters & hackers, and players are banned for breaking this rule. Because no player is banned without proof, for reporting Cheating/Hacking, a Support Ticket with video evidence is required (along with the in-game report that is required for all reports, regardless of the rule broken, to flag the match).
For more information, you can find the Game Rules & Reporting here: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/139-game-rules

Checking to see if you own the Demogorgon, and what prestige level they are at, as that may be the possible reason for the issue as noted in the FAQ: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/articles/20677403031828-FAQ-Stranger-Things-Returns-

Mine is definitely... not something most would think of, but shows how odd my mind likes to be randomly connecting things regardless of rhyme or reason 😅 I actually don't associate songs with killers for the most part, except one... my closest-thing-to-a-Main-Killer, The Trapper.
The song: It's Such a Good Night (Scoobidoo Love) ... I know it was used in an episode Breaking Bad, but my mind hears it solely from the perspective of being frequently used on Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law, and the show's juxtaposition of using it against what are seemingly serious, non-comedic scenes... and when I am going around setting bear traps, its in my head often 😆

Hey HarlockTaliesin,
I'm sorry you are having issues with the chat system. I do want to check and see with you if you tried other browsers such as Chrome or Firefox, as well as the Steam browser and Brave?

https://imgur.com/a/lHKqZKs The Blight, The Shape, and probably The Onryo. Thank you for helping!
Of course, happy to assist!
So what I am seeing from at least your screenshot of the Killers you have Prestige 1 or higher, and going over the perks Blight has in his inventory (unique & general)... everything looks correct; you have all the perks available to unlock on Blight right now, and all at Tier 3.
Once other Killers are brought to Prestige 1 (or unlocked Killer perks are purchased in the Perk Shrine), their perks will appear in the bloodwebs of other Killers, including Blight and the others <3
However, if these are differing on The Shape and Onryo (for example; no perks on the bloodweb for several levels, but a perk is not Tier 3, or missing from one or both, but is found on Blight), please let us know!
