Thank you for posting, The_Daydreamer, and everyone posting tips to help newer players <3 And I'm ashamed to admit sometimes I'll throw out KNight's Guards to throw them out regardless of their strength 😅 so its a good reminder to even long-time players to keep an eye on those things.
And something I've said before but bears repeating: No matter the role - relax, have fun, and it's ok to have a bad game or two; don't be too hard on yourself!
With Trapper and Hag (two of my favorites) - it's ok to lose a gen in the beginning to set up traps; its something I used to be anxious with myself about when I started playing them, but once I relaxed about it, it helped a ton 🖤 And with Hag, I am one of those that like to trap "high traffic" areas; places that don't really have gens or hooks, but Survivors will tend to run without checking. It may not be the strategy for many, but, hey, changing how to do things is a part of the fun 😄

I wanted to get some more information regarding this. To clarify, are you hitting "decoy" snowmen (i.e. the ones that jumpscare you when you get close to them)? Have you been primarily playing Killer or Survivor (and if Killer, are you hitting the decoy snowmen with M1, Special Attack, or Snowskull throw)?

If you are able to get an Iridescent Queen add-on, I would try it again and see if it counts <3 The shocks have to be outside your terror radius, and Iri Queen (When Survivors interact/rescues outside of your TR after being shocked) did the trick for me when I did the Challenge.
Give that a try, and keep us updated!

I wanted to get some information regarding this issue. Did you use any add-ons, such as Iridescent Queen, to try and shock Survivors from outside the 48 meter range? Or Dark Devotion, where you can hit the Obsession, let them run out of range, and use the Static Blast (as it will be attached to that Survivor)?

The Knight has been temporarily disabled to fix an issue, as stated in the Kill Switch List. The Knight will return to the Killer roster when the issue is resolved.

For clarification, this thread (at the end, especially) is Feedback. This is the category for Feedback & Suggestions to go, so it is not lost among the threads in General Discussions. This allows feedback and suggestions to be visible to be taken back to the Team; not to be "hidden" or "removed".
And to respond to the OP, the title was edited to be a little more concise with the post <3 Between some real world obligations and being sick the last week and a half, I didn't get too much event time in just yet, but I had a few rounds last night throwing snow skulls as Krampus Trapper :3

I admit I'm more Halloween than Holiday time... but fortunately DbD makes the holidays spoopy, which I personally approve of lol
I adore Krampus Trapper, so this time of year that cosmetic is thrown on immediately... meanwhile on the Survivor side, my Dwight is ready to enter the frosty fray:

As Simfeliz said, the Naming & Shaming rule is when a post will reflect negatively on others, the names must be censored. In this case, there is nothing regarding the other Survivors at all, and therefore its ok - same with positive posts about others, its ok to show names in positive posts as well.

People that abuse the report function (either lying, or repeatedly reporting things that are not reportable) will face consequences, as mentioned in our Game Rules and Reporting Process: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/139-game-rules
There is no need to share video, as we do not handle player reports here, and a reminder that players are never punished without clear evidence of the rules being broken, and if you did nothing wrong, there is no need to be concerned about being wrongly given consequences.

If you have already contacted Support regarding this issue, they will respond back to you as soon as they are able. They go through a lot of submitted tickets, and I understand the frustration of not yet hearing back about this issue, but please do not make a new ticket if you've already submitted one, as that will put you in the back of the queue, and make the wait for a response longer.

As killer, I respect when a Survivor has a Glyph appear in front of them (in the odd case I kneejerk hit them, I may try to down them and take them back to it sometimes, especially if they are on death hook or similar circumstances where their chance to naturally run back to it may be slim). White Glyphs especially I will let them take it to the basement... that's a lot of bloodpoints to take it to the basement! I may be a Killer, but not letting them get that.... I'd personally feel bad about it even well after the match!
As Survivor, its nice when a Killer lets me get a Glyph, but its ok when they say no; they are doin what they gotta do as Killer, and I absolutely respect without objection.

As the others have mentioned, if you did nothing wrong, you have nothing to be concerned about.
Bans are not issued without absolutely clear proof of wrongdoing; especially things like cheating or hacking, and why video evidence of these instances occurring in the match are required. While I understand its not the easiest thing to do for some, the video is vital, and when submitted to Player Support, the evidence is reviewed, and action taken. This also ensures people reported for cheating or hacking either accidentally (not realizing a perk or add-on would explain their actions, for example), or those reported out of spite or the like, will not be wrongly given consequences.

I let survivors go pretty often (not all the time, but more than half of my Killer matches in a given night unless attempting challenges/achievements). I don't always have rhyme or reason to them, but I have a few that will curry favor with me, as it were lol
- Played well, and did a lot to try and help the team escape, even to the point of always being in the terror radius to get the last gen done and the doors open, looping as long as possible, etc.
- I enjoy a good game of just funnin' around with everyone (not farming, but being silly), and worth a free escape pass from me <3
- If I feel the Survivors are new. I've had this happen before, and have gotten better and telling right off the bat, and will let them get accustomed to skill checks, may chase (and maybe hit once) to get them used to chases/healing/ being injured.
- Snoot boops or prezzies... so long as you don't break the in-game rules during/after a match... I can't go against my personal code and give the Entity boopers & magpies 😭

- Can I get what character(s) you are playing when this occurs?
- If you are able to recall, what perks did you use in these matches?
- In regard to the hooked Survivor, I want to just clarify you cannot see their aura (Terror Radius is the term for the "heartbeat" the Killer emits when nearby, so I wanted to double-check that).

When you get a moment, could you add some additional information (platform, character(s) played, map(s) played on, etc)? Also, during End Game Collapse, you should be able to see the glyph spot auras from a distance... is this not occurring, to your experience?
While the pumpkins should not entirely cause issue with this challenge, if you still have issue now, as well as when the event ends, please update!

This is definitely me (and yes, I have died trying to get boops from a Pig that did not want them... never stops me from trying with the next Pig I match with, though lol).
I can understand it is a bit scary to potentially not see or hear her approach, then suddenly get the roar right behind you.
I think a kind of "exposure therapy" may help a lot: Go into a Custom match with one or more friends, play as Survivor, and a friend as the Pig. The map(s) can be whatever ones you are the most uneasy on when going against The Pig (for me, I used to struggle against her on Lery's). Being in a controlled match environment can allow you to feel less scared by it, but also become more aware of her stealth (i.e. rotating your camera, watching out for startled crows flying that might be her, etc).
The other would be (if you are able) is to play as the Pig in public or custom matches <3 sometimes getting into the other side's shoes (or I guess Pig mask in this instance) can help understand her mechanics to feel more at ease with her too!

It is correct that you can only report in-game rule breaks to BHVR if you yourself experienced them in your game (In game report required for all rule breaks, Cheats & Hacks a Support Ticket with video evidence is also required), you cannot report for a friend, streamer, etc.
However: Anything that happens outside the game can be reported to the platform in which it is happening on. In this case, someone streaming themselves violating Game Rules can be reported to the platform they are posting or streaming to (TikTok, Twitch, YouTube, etc).
