No.
And it's also a challenge (2 x sacrifice in egc) in the new Tome part.
-
Match-making.
-
π Yeah brill.
Well I think I've heard enough.
Have fun!
-
Being a killer in Tome 2 part 2 is a right hoot! Fun, fun, fun!
-
I'm with you mate. I am far less inclined to play as killer these days.
It is a shame, but unfortunately killer games are just not fun anymore.
The atrocious match-matching, the abhorrent behaviour of red rank survivors and complete unbalanced gameplay are turning killer players away.
What a sad state the game is in.

Peanits, did you take a look at @Pulsar's idea for changing the Hex perk to have a secondary weaker effect once destroyed? π
His idea can be found here:

That is a good idea.

I'm afraid it would be too hard for new survs and they would start to cry out like they did with old ruin.
Oh of course.
I play both survivor and killer. Whilst I enjoy survivor most of the time, I rarely have an enjoyable killer match.
But even with all the tunneling and NOED by killers..red rank survivors are the absolute worst offenders. Absolutely abhorrent. Their behaviour, along with preposterous match-making, is the true rot of DBD.
-
Yeah. It's a real shame.
Been going against ranks 1-3 and I'm a rank 10 killer.
And the vast majority of red rank survivors are, for some baffling reason, total and utter butt-whistles.
Do they realise that their type of crappy behaviour is going to turn people away from the game. I doubt they care.
It is really making for a very disheartening gaming experience.
-
Agreed.
I think it would be fun to play with and against as a non-perk.
It would make survivors work harder to win and ease pressure on the killer. It would work.
-
Well my favourite killers are 1)Clown 2)Pig and 3)Trapper.
The ones I dislike most are 3)Legion 2)Nurse and the absolute worst 1)Oni. A complete lump of butt-cheese.
-
Unfortunately DBD can be a utterly frustrating mess.
Shame.
-
Nurse, Hillbilly and Spirit all have the ability to cover long stretches on area very quickly. High map pressure.
Doc's combination of powers and add-ons make him a formidable foe with strong survivor aura reading.
-
Been having some rather good luck today...first a merciless with Trapper and now this:
Not too shoddy.
Using Corrupt Intervention and Thrilling Tremors was interesting.
Yes...I had a ebony mori in my back pocket....but I only used it on one survivor, who had been hooked twice. She was first to go. Lucky I mori'ed her...otherwise I think I would of tasted a Decisive Strike. If I hadn't used the mori, this would of likely of been a merciless.
What a change from yesterday.
-
Cannibal.
At least he can cook.
-
Here's the other thing with ebony mori: you can keep it in your back pocket. And with killers going against cocky red survivors more regularly than ever, the mori will continue to be a staple in many a killer's repertoire.
On some occasions, certain red rank survivors deserve to be head stamped/chainsaw through the backed/stabbed and selfied etc.
If you happen to come across that particular butthead, it's nice to a gift to give them.
-
Agreed 100%.
I understand this is a horror 'fantasy' game...but the fact you can run over a bear trap defies logic.
One of Trapper's major tactics is to hit a survivor, putting them in to a panic and having them carelessly run in to a trap.
With Dead Hard, this is easily overcome. And that's not right.
-
Have it, you can carry a different item. Don't have it, you can have a different perk.
It's handy to have if you've take multiple hits throughout the match and can't find another survivor to heal you.
Saying that, don't you just love it when you allow another survivor to heal you...and they miss a simple skill check...revealing your location...and you get killed.
Inner Strength is good but obviously you have to get a totem first, and another each time you want a new heal. The advantage being that your aura isn't revealed with Nurse's Call.
Overall, I would say Self-Care is a good perk for those who take a lot of protective hits and don't like putting their lives in the hands of others.
-
Underworld - Dark & Long (Dark Train remix).
-
For being annoying:
Killer: NOED
Survivor: DS
For being crap:
Killer: Monstrous Shrine
Survivor: No Mither
-
With the way things currently are, nerfing any Killer would be a very bad idea.
-
Naturally anything I haven't seen. But saying that, I had not seen any Saw films (although I was familiar with the franchise) or Stranger Things before they appeared in DBD. Now I have seen all of both franchises and really enjoyed them.
Back on topic: I would not want to see the Joker, any representation of Hannibal or Norman Bates. They just don't feel right.

Business as usual
That's it. That's the sad truth these days.
We will continue to go against game-obsessed comedians who have a "VICTORY ROYALE!" wallpaper on their PS4 profile.
I enjoy playing survivor, but playing killer is just crap these days (with the exception of Doctor, who is fun to play as or against for that matter).
Oh well.
-
This was a post to show the absolute shambles that is DBD match-making. Red ranks shouldn't be matching up against greens. Especially rank 1s.
I'm getting this a lot, as are many who have a killer game on PS4. It's really out of control.
Naturally when killers can expect a complete lopsided match, they're going to use things like NOED and Moris. In the two instances above I was going for challenges, but I have used NOED and Mori more than I used to recently due to the utterly insane match-making. I end in matches with a large amount of individuals who seem to revel in antagonizing the killer. And this is coming from someone who has played majority Survivor recently.
This has nothing to do with Ruin. Was never a big thing for me personally. And whilst I enjoy playing Survivor (and I don't mess about teabag and click etc), playing killer is just a disappointment sadly. Hands up: I'm not a 'pro-gamer' who streams on YouTube/Twitch to showcase their finest troll moments. I do not live and breathe DBD. Nor do I enjoy taunting others with unoriginal internet memes hijacked from Reddit etc.
But unfortunately, this game can be a crude mixture of bad match-making, unbalanced gameplay and player 'toxicity' (hate that buzzword).
I would like to be playing against players of my ability level, not getting slaughtered each match and having a bad taste for using cheap perks and add-ons.
But...it's only a game.

Bold of you to share your thirsty builds lol.
Waaaaater....waaaaater.
Enjoy them. I'm usually a Surveillance, BBQ&C, Deerstalker, and Pop kind of guy...but challenges against red ranks with Clown and Bubba are a wee bit irritating.
Just had another one (I'm trying to get the Dwight & Jake 'Leatherfaces')...my goodness...they play likes it's a military operation with added dance moves.
Think I best get stuck in with my other interests. This is a right headache

If true I agree, no sympathy. If youβve depipped/smurfed so you can bully weak survivors youβre getting what you deserved. And if you are only low rank because βI havenβt played in a while,β you should still be able to perform better than this.
No. That was a completely false accusation by the forum member.
Never de-pipped. Play regularly. Just not a fantastic player.
To be honest, the last few weeks I have had been vs vast majority red survivors for some reason. The only killer I seem to have respectable results with against reds is Doctor.
-
@Seanzu said:
I know you've been rank one before, or you've at least alluded to that, so the fact you're running ebonies at rank 10 wanting rank 10s to bully means you garner no sympathy from me, I'm glad you're still doing terribly at the game even when running one of the most OP things in the game, lmao.
Thanks for that.
Anyway, I've never been higher than Survivor 6 and Killer 7. Never close to a 1.
The reasoning for the load-outs is to complete challenges.
But I'm glad it makes you glad.
I've been doing Survivor most of today and tried a couple of killer games. Sadly, they weren't fun at all. The Survivors were, as expected, completely abhorrent.
But quite frankly, I wouldn't expect anything less from a modern gaming community.

NOED and Ebony? Someone was hungry.
Absolutely starving.
-
Yep. All sorted. Having a whale of a time.
-
I was playing as Clown and usually get good results.
A few minutes in and I could tell the survivors were above average. I was rather shocked to see THREE rank 1s
Nuts.
-
Absolutely not. Just...no.
-
I meant to click 'Why Not?'
-
Agreed. It should go.

Beer.
-
I love the Loomis character.

What about Huntress, Clown and Plague? How do you aim at 3d person without crosshair?
Could be like Jason in F13 with throwing knives.
-
I would like to have it like F13 in the way I can actually see the skin I have earned/purchased, but it would make being a covert survivor much more difficult.
Perhaps have it as option on KYF or something.
-
I wasn't dependant on old Ruin, but I believe it should of never went. New Ruin should of been a whole new perk.
-
Where did you get those skulls, sir? π
Good job!
-
I've been an extremely camp Leatherface recently. Camp as Christmas. Been trying to get the Dwight and Jake 25 sacrifices and wear their faces.
-
I have a feeling it would be an absolute nightmare.
-
No.
Not that I was particularly devastated at the massive change to the perk.
Hex totems get cleansed fairly quickly, more so now what with the totem cleanse Tome challenges.
The totem is more often than not cleansed before the new Ruin hex can have a real impact.
-
At the VERY least they should get rid of grunts of pain and the loud injured music.

I see them as equally evil all of them. They kill and feel no remorse, some laugh and stuff but hey it's hard to say one is more evil then another.
Well to be fair Demogorgon is really an animal with his own set of instincts, he kills for food.
-
Just had this great game.
Absolute blinder...I'm the killer...
This will turn people away....
-
Well I probably wouldn't like the Clown as much as I do if he was just a fat, bald, coughing slob.
It's the the fact he wears a clown costume that sells it for me.

Dr. Loomis I am shocked. You should remember your own words...
"I met this 6 year old child with this blank pale emotionless face and...the blackest eyes. The devil's eyes. I spent 8 years trying to reach him, and then another 7 trying to keep him locked up because I realized that what was living behind that boy's eyes was purely and simply evil!"
Doc may have had a sadistic evil career as a Doctor, but Michael has been murdering since he was a child. For no rational reason. He just picked up a knife as a child and he's never wanted to put it down since.
π Yes. Michael is simply evil. So much so that it seems I blocked him out of my memory.
And I SHOT HIM SIX TIMES!!!
-
Ok, thanks all.
Until next time.
