I think you have the numbers all wrong there...
Was gonna say something, but you beat me to it. Even if those numbers WERE right, that's only for your first hook. After that, don't see any benefit of this combo...not trying to dog on Traitorous Leopard, just see better options for those slots
-
Autodidact and Aftercare, really good at preventing those Blendettes from running off to oblivion so they can Self Care π
-
I mean, unless you were running Nemesis or Furtive Chase, she had 5 chances to realize you were running Rancor; I guess if they had Dark Sense, used Decisive Strike, or For the People it'd be a little different. But yeah, not scummy at all, you outplayed them.
-
Late noticing this thread, but just rewatched the series and think Phantasm would be an awesome chapter to add in DbD. I like your concept and had similar ideas to Tall Man's abilities, but that part with Dead Hard destroying Sphere's wouldn't work because you don't have collision while doing it. Flashlights, quick locker vaults or pallets (in a dire situation, because wasting pallets sucks) would work though. With the Dwarves, you probably wouldn't be able to interact with anything (lockers, vaults, pallets) and instead of the 10 second timer, maybe have a wiggle bar? You'd either have to wiggle free or have someone help you. Still working on Mike's perks and possible cool map features but definitely agree Phantasm would make for an awesome addition to DbD

Urban Evasion and Fixated help me alot against her, just manipulate paths and sneak around when she's phasing...usually run Spine Chill and Inner Stength along with as my main build. I guess I might be crazy, but I actually have fun messing with them...boop that bootyπ

Getting obliterated by a Hillbilly that came flying off the combine harvester in Coldwind...it was at that moment I discovered he could fly, but had to put my controller down for a second, eat my burrito and reflect on what just happened

They are asking whether someone outside the cage afflicted by the Hex would hide the aura to the cages location, I believe

Licensed: Hellraiser with Pinhead and Kirsty, Resident Evil with Chris Redfield or Jill Valentine and Wesker or a Left 4 Dead paragraph with Jockey and the Dead Center map
Unlicensed: A Banshee type Killer or a medieval knight Killer

He's so small... why not witch as she's the size of Hag?
What would her power be? Sitting there and crying? All jokes aside and hope I didn't offend, I feel she'd be too similar to hag like smoker is to slinger and boomer is just a fat plague essentially. Witch COULD work, I just can't think of a unique power
-
@Waffleyumboy Thanks, so I can have a Ranger Kit with Gel Dressings and Gauze Roll for a total of 60 charges or Alex's Toolbox with a Hacksaw and Cutting Wire to increase Sabo speed or are these overkill and a waste?
-
Yeah, I usually go break pallets or close hatch (if applicable) but when there's absolutely nothing it's like, "C'mon, leave already!" Don't really like using NOED or Blood Warden because they're just too conditional when I could be running Perks to try stopping them from getting to Endgame in the first place. Also, generally Survivors aren't dumb enough (usually) to stick around against 'Slinger or Spirit.
-
I used Diversion, Urban Evasion, Any Means Necessary and Empathy to just follow chases π
-
But what is the Banshee's Power? I think having a passive where if she's stunned, she screams super loud and stuns anyone in front of her but don't know what her actual power could beπ€
-
π Thanks OP, I needed this. Maybe go outside or something?
-
Not a bad idea and a good point, Clown is in a pretty sad state. The only time I play him is when I'm just messing around or doing a daily ritual. Making his tonic have a (slightly) longer duration and wider AoE would also help
-
Ah, didn't know it had a name lol
-
I'm generally hesitant to run full Hex builds because it sucks being perkless near endgame, but with high risk comes high reward I suppose. Corrupt Intervention hasn't shown in the bloodweb yet, but does seem like a good way to increase the probability that they are herded together. All great suggestions though, thanks!

Since when does spirit require skill? You press a button and dissapear, just go through red marks, listen, and there you go! On my first spirit's games, i did 4k and sometimes with 5gens left with no perks and addons! I was streaming, and a friend told me to play spirit for the memes, knowing i hate her, and the survivors couldnt do anything! Im rank 1!
Apparently you've missed the point and are going off topic, I simply listed a few viable Killers that actually have a learning curve (unlike Krueger) and you wanna nitpick one word out of the entire post. Focus on the main topic please

You can do that with any killer. That doesnt prove your point whatsoever.
Yes, you can, but not as braindead easy as Freddy.

Demogorgen: teleportation and a longer lung.
Oni. Super easy to track survivors with his passive blood spoil thing. And his 1 hit down mechs.
A goodbunny/deathslinger. They can use their range to basically ensure a down after a hit. Not to mention bunny has an add on that if she hits you. Youre exausted for 60 seconds. Or her one hit down.
Nurse in general. Teleportation with her is still very very op if you learn it.
Spirit and her mindgames. Stand still and a survivor would come to you.
Hag and her teleportation traps. Not to mention her addons that can 1) make you unaware that it procs. 2) can act as a body block. 3) disable her teleport but makes her super fast.
Wraith. His pink addons are prob the most broken ive seen in the game.
So yes. I can name a few killers with a lot of stuff in their "basekit"
Not to be rude, but your list comprises of nothing related to my point. The only Killer with anything close to Freddy's basekit is Doc, I'm not talking addons included. Freddy has Dream World (which buffs him and is super easy to put Survivors back into), Pallets/Snares AND Dream Projection. My point is simply that you can run a perkless Freddy with no addons and still 4k with ease, can't exactly do that with Oni, Hag or Spirit as they actually require skill.
-
I disagree, he's the only Killer that hits me after a vault (when I'm not even by the window anymore), his hitbox is BROKEN and he DOES NOT require any skill whatsoever (especially 'Forever Freddy', those add ons should cancel his teleportation). Name another Killer that has as much as he does in basekit. Go on, I'll wait...
-
His lunge is NOT the same, the hitbox for his claw is broken. He is the only one I've been hit by while standing 5 ft. from a window. His slowdown addons are too much especially when paired with slowdown perks. Freddy requires absolutely ZERO skill to play and makes it a brainless slog to finish a match. Freddy main=Potato, change my mind.
-
Haha all these entitled Killers thinking that making the game boring by hovering 10 ft from a hook as viable and fun is truly pathetic. Where is the fun in just standing there like a dog guarding his bone? Killers are supposed to actively engage Survivors and actually GET REWARDED for not camping. You don't have to be a toxic pile of waste to get a 4k. (Play both sides before anyone tries that bs argument btw) Just had a match with a Rank 1 Doc at Lery's where someone popped Haunted Ground right away and he got me, then proceeded to stand right in front of me and shock the ground until I died. What skill!
-
Not a bad idea, another thing that could use a bit more definition is the 'Devotion' rank, because it's just a green number under your player level as is. Just think the best way to reward people for playing often is implement SOME sort of bonus for these features
-

I'm interested in Oni as well. But, why is he rarely ever brought up when people speak of high mobility killers? You constantly hear of Billy, Nurse, and Spirit, but Oni seems like he has great mobility too. Am I missing something?
While having a high mobility in his Demon Form, he is super loud and easy to see across the map because he's really tall and glowing red. You really have to plan your angle of attack before charging at the Survivors. That would be my guess on why he isn't brought up.
-
While agreed farming can be boring, it's a bonus event and people wanna get the most potential BP out of it. If you dont wanna farm, just rush them gens/tunnel everyone and get out...be lame and sweaty. We all know chilling out is hazardous to some's health and that's ok.

I don't like how people take the game seriously and play blendette rather than somebody fun. I've started hating them so much that I associate their screams with pleasure because I hate them so much.
Just pick Leatherface and earn her face, then you can join them π
-
Pretty disgusting, OP, but I just wanted to say can we not be so sweaty in-game and enjoy the gift bestowed upon us?π See ya in the Fog!
-
I think this is a horrible idea, whenever dc's happen I suggest killers stop sweating and have fun with the ones that stuck it out. Make the most BP out of a stupid situation π

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/137599/no-longer-fun-to-play-as-survivor
Iβm sure others have told you this, but this game is HEAVILY survivor favored. If youβre dying all the time, then thatβs your fault 100%. It just takes time to learn the game, perhaps you just need more practice.
Hey look, another 'git gud ball licker' π But in all seriousness, it's not ALWAYS your fault if you die. I've had several instances where I'm 90% on a gen and some potato runs up to 'help' and misses skill check after skill check and BAM the killer's right there and the gen is now 50% with me on a hook. Just one example but I dont feel the need to elaborate any further, you get my point
-
@Mo4ntus said:
why are survivors arguing for less game to play this isn't a walking simulator but somehow people are complaining about skill checks and now even struggling
It's not that we're 'arguing for less game to play', just tired of wearing out my $60 controller because I'm dealing with a Killer that likes to tunnel. 'Walking simulator'??? Get outta here, seriously what is the logic in your argument?
-
Because a good chunk of the people that play him (in my experience) just camp and tunnel when he has so much more potential than that. But hey, deprive yourself of BP and dull the game down, I'll just die and move on to another trial.
-
Honestly, dont see why people keep comparing him to Huntress...sure, they're both ranged but so is the Clown and we don't hear those comparisons. Every killer has a DIFFERENT power/playstyle and are variant enough to not make a fair/accurate comparison.
-
The chain (location depending) is fairly easy to break esp. with another teammate around that's competent. All of his slowdowns plus slow movement speed is actually fairly balanced. He just eliminates alot of mindgames at pallets and windows. Respect the 'poon! Teabaggers beware! I find Corrupt Intervention is a good way to eliminate that early game gen rush
-
I agree it needs to be changed, I now own 3 Xbox controllers with damaged left thumbsticks and 'A' buttons from this game alone lol
-
Is he throwing the gun at people? ππ
-
Just run Brutal Strength and pallets aren't really a problem most of the time. Since he's slow, I've been getting some good early hooks with Corrupt Intervention so long as I don't get sent to Red Forest or another huge map
-
@fleshbox, agreed on your second post. I mentioned above that they need to look at the Killers' powers and buff them. They did a pretty decent job with Doctor's overhaul, he's still kind of annoying because the range on Static Blast is a little ridiculous (esp. on smaller maps) but overall, eliminating the stance switch and reworking Madness was a HUGE improvement. Now if they could just tweak some other Killers to be a little more intimidating, that would be awesome. As far as the comment on the Perks I listed, isn't everything conditional? I don't quite grasp your point there, not being rude, just inquisitive.
@Godot What does Overwatch have to do with DbD?
-
Just had a match where I played as Mr. Puddles with party streamers and we all partied and got messed up lol was alot of fun. These games are few and far between but necessary to break the monotony. Like I said earlier, it's as fun as you make it and a good chunk of people seem to just wanna stress and rush or just plain be dbags. HAVE SOME FUN!!
-
Wanna quit pointing fingers @xEa? It comes from both sides equally, 'nerf this','that's op', etc. People seem to forget that this is JUST A GAME.
-
I agree with you to an extent @ApeOfMazor, alot of the Killers' POWER needs adjusting. You're supposed to be feared as Killer, bullying the Killer with DS and Head On (for example) shouldn't be a thing. Could you imagine if Diversion actually stunned if you hit the killer? Gross lol but the part I disagree with in your post is 'the game is over' because $$
-
Some Killers are meant to be played differently @USELESS. Trapper requires setup, sure, endgame snowballing with him is hilarious though. All it takes is proper trap placement and then herding them towards them. You can't win ALL the time. Again though, you seem to think the perks are supposed to do all the work and that is simply untrue, they are PERKS.
-
@USELESS said:
Hell yeah u right, that game died by A SINGLE NERF, "pretty good job" BHVR you screwed up the only good pressure perk on the game
Corrupt Intervention, Thanataphobia, Dying Light, Overcharge, Pop Goes The Weasel and eh..Surge I guess, to name a few lol but the perks aren't supposed to cause pressure as much as YOU are
-
The 'mains' I think cause alot of the issue; if more people played both roles equally, I think toxicity may go down a little. Then again, there are alot of people think that being a 'troll' is actually something to aspire to. I don't get it but I still enjoy this game very much. If the Survivors sweat all gens out in 4 minutes, open the gates and do a little dance or something. It's only as fun as you make it
-
The Clown could make for a creepy slasher movie; but I wouldn't involve the Entity, just solely his lore beforehand
-
Well there are a couple perks like devour hope and noed that give you a brief haste status effect, but both are extremely conditional
-
Was just wondering this myself. But reading the syringe, it says the syringe's effect is cancelled if health state changes or the survivor is picked up. So I take that to mean if you're hit and styptic procs, your health state changes and would negate the syringe. I could be wrong though
-
I'm still not used to this new format/layout of the forums and must've entered this in the wrong category. But my point remains, and RockstarKnight...answering with a meme gives you zero credibility in my book. I am also rank 6 Survivor, so thanks for assuming I'm a low rank potato Mang ππ I know I'm nowhere near the best at this game, but c'mon Wraith's...you're missing out on points and making it a very dull game. I don't wanna bring DS but I think might have to start
-
Just to clarify, I play both Killer and Survivor equally. Honestly, every time I hear a Wraith I immediately feel like DC'ing because I know that it's a toxic shitshow waiting to happen
-
None of those, I find Wraith is generally used to be a toxic camper after getting a hook. Additionally, he's just boring to go against.
