i think it was a teammate, so it's sandbagging/teaming with killer and that's bannable afaik
Yes, but even in this case it only applies if it occured for a prolonged amount of time in the case of bodyblocking.
-
So... you want her to become wesker???
-
Yeah, I felt the same this update... kinda wierd.
-
Cuca, saci perere, the chupac -- or we riot
-
I wanted to use this perk, but hemorage just kills any viability for it.
-
I like to play right, unfurtunately dbd is balance around some unfun mechanics, I try to play as fair as possible but some part of it depends on the survivors don't giving me the chance to for example slug. If you give me the oportunity and it's very good for me, sorry, but you mess it up.
-
Yes, but rancor could still be fine without it. Devour loses basically all it has to offer in face of better exposed perks.
-
She is not that hard (she is a bit), but she is way stronger than harder killers.
-
Dark Theory is the worst, but he's trying really hard.
-
Killer sided at low level, completely survivor favored at high level
-
By thematic yes, by balance hell no
-
I think her power is okay, but the things she can bring to complement it is what makes her broken: maps, adddons and perks. Maybe reduce the sinergy she has.
-
hmmm I feel the question is too open: as killer or survivor? By "don't like" you mean, asthetics, balance or feel of the map? Do you refer about how much fun I can have looping the structures or the line of sight?
-
It should have been a skin but ok
-
It cant go anywhere, the only conclusion the story could have would be to everyone escape, and that would mean the end of the game.
-
i can't confirm, but bodyblocking is only baneable after X amount of time, I think it's 5-10min.
-
No, for the majority of killers camping is counterable the survivors just need to be smart. If you misplayed and put the killer in a situation where 3 people are injured and the guy is about to die, the killer shouldn't be excluded of the option of just making sure the survivors dies. The skill part just doesnt need to be on the killer survivors need to play well too
-
People that I know are toxic
-
I really don't understand why people get mad about this but ok
-
It does not go away when you unhook, it goes away as soon you touch the person on the hook. even if you tap it.
-
I was reluctant about the idea, but then I just thought how good of a idea it would be if nurse could still go throught walls but just once. If she goes throught a wall, in the next she needs to have line of sight, I think all her problems would be solved (lerys would be unplayable, but it's 1 map that is not good for her anyways). A friend of mine that despises nurse gave me this idea, we always discuss about her (he hates her and she is one of my most played characters)
Also, pallets would count as a solid wall, so if she goes throught it and you vault back, she cant teleport back over the pallet, it would give pallets meaning vs her, and incentivise her to break them. Also windows would not count as solid so she can use them to take a short cut.
-
I wanted to like the Knight so much, but his chase is so underwelming, Why would you spawn a guard that will go along side you at the same speed? The guard should incentivise the survivor to run back into the killer not the other way around.
I disagree with what most say about him, specially about him being the best camper (devour and make you choice is clearly a bug that will be fixed) if he spawns a guard just run to the hook and tap the guy and the guard goes away, there is 0 secret about it. Also I have a lot of fun vs this killer, the tap the guard on the loop sure is boring, but when the person tries to snipe you is really fun because is just like spirit, but with a lot more agency. He is way more fun than artist at least.

His power is pretty complex, which I know is a controversial statement, but even still he can't do much to the survivors. "Just drop your power at the loop" and making them have to run away basically results in the same outcome as chasing as an M1 and breaking the pallet to make them run away, except you don't necessarily get the pallet down, so it's worse than normal. Like most anti-loop, it's not true anti-loop.
His problems, like you said, come from his design. The banner that despawns the guard and gives Haste/Endurance was always going to be a bad idea, even if the guards' AI was threatening. So was making the survivors disappear when going into guard spawn mode, literally making the killer worse than Spirit in every way, because you can't see the survivors and you don't even get a hit from spawning a guard right next to them. The guards' chase speed wouldn't be such a problem if they chased for longer, or didn't take so darn long to get into chase. Why do they have to go "Aaaaaahhh!", move to the spot the first saw the survivors, and THEN start chasing? Why can't it be instant or near-instant? It's just a cool concept executed poorly, in every conceivable way.
That would create problems if the survivor was on a different level than the guard, if they are in the top gen of garden of joy, the guard would need to go all the way around to get upthere. Same if they spot someone through a glass for example.

Why would you be upset by this? Cosmetics are not something essencial, you can chose just not to buy the skins, if you care about them just buy it, or wait until it comes back. I think it's very silly just have things come back every year because it removes the exclusivity aspect of it, if something is limited it should never come back imo

There is nothing that kills my dbd mood more than nemesis

Hi,
Sadako is a killer that has a hard time getting downs vs good survivors and her addons are not particularly good, so it's good to focus your builds on slowdowns that not require hooks and chasing perks. However, not every single survivor is a god tier, so if you feel confident you can down people on a determined lobby you can get a bit creative.
Good perks on Sadako:
Sloppy Butcher -- this perk sinergizes a lot with her because the first hit usually is very easy and the hemorage can help you deal with medkits that are her worst enemy
Franklings Demise -- In the same way it helps to deal with medkits
A Nurses Calling -- Its a rare perk to see nowdays so you can get some easy downs because sometimes survivors don't expect you to see them.
Bambozle/Superior anatomy/Spirit Fury/Enduring -- Solid perks for M1 killers, I personally like the ultra fast vault build, I find it to be a bit more realiable.
Make Your Choice -- This perk is very bad on most killers but sadako is one of the few that is really good to take advantage of it, specially on the first hook when the survivors have no idea you have this.
Call Of Brine -- a must nowdays.
Eruption -- Its a staple for killers nowdays but it's a bit unrealiable on sadako because you can't know for sure you can down someone in a reasonable time, so use it if you think the survivors are not very good in chase
Famous Builds
Condemn build: Ring Drawing, Iridescent tape, Gideon Meat Plant offering. Call of Brine, Sloppy, franklings/shattered hope, A nurses calling. Its her most famous build and one of her strongest, I personally like The Game for this because of the square shape, which helps to get mutiple condemn in one teleport. The idea of the build is to force survivors to heal each other because of the Ring Drawing, you don't want to hook anyone with this, because survivors picking others up increases condemn. The idea is to basically search for easy hits and leave to bother someone else and stop them to heal by themselves. The most important part is to not commit a lot, just break pallets and look for easy targets. Unless the survivors are really aware of this gameplay it's 3 moris at least.
Chasing addons: sadako players like The old newspaper + reikos watch because it makes her chasing power a little bit more reliable, you can put any build along side it.
Make Your Choice build: Make Your Choice, Floods of Rage, Call of Brine, eruption. Just make sure to always hook near tvs. If the survivor turns the tv off before saving the floods of rage can help you track them.
Hope it helps

This could be proven with a brown add on in KYFs. I don’t play Nurse as much. So your position is that she literally cannot blink up to a second floor, ever? And that it is not a mistake in the blink usage.
I feel part of playing Nurse is learning these mechanics or you will fail over and over like in OP’s video. Like not blinking through certain structures is part of her learning curve.
3.7.2: The Nurse: Fixed an issue that caused the Nurse to be unable to blink in most of the Chapel.
I guess I just know nurse with no flannel

Recently decided that I wanted to become a OTP (One trick Pony) and I know that nurse has an extremely high skill ceiling and is extremely effective once you get there. I wanted to lower my self esteem and jumped straight into my purple/red rank lobbies and BOI OH BOI did i have a feild trip of tbags. Had a couple good blinks, out of like 100. I know that the biggest tip that alot of people give is to put time into her and learn her blink ranges with muscle memory etc, but I just thought I'd ask a few questions regarding after aspects of the nurse.
- What kind of builds should I run? Currently i run BBQ+C, Infectious fright, PGTW, thanataphobia and go for a snowball slug kinda playstyle.
- Are there any other tips that you have for learning nurse other than putting time into her?
- Is she worth it or am i better off learning another killer and having more fun straight off the bat
Any input is appreciated, thanks yall!
Infectious is a really risky choice. Sometimes, because nurse is never helpless in a chase, you feel like you can chase everything. And sometimes, you leave a slug to chase somebody else, when you down them you find someone else and you keep the cycle of greedness. The problem is: some chases can take a bit of time that can lead you to defeat. You need to know when to slug very well. Because if a slug is picked up all the time chasing him is kinda lost if you don't find them again. If you are starting it's not the best pick.
I would heavily recommend a slow down focused build. Because what you need is time more than anything.
My build would be:
Addons
Duble recharge
Perks:
Corrupt Intervention, BBQ, I'm all ears, ruin
Other good perks:
Sloppy, discordance, whispers (if you know how to use it) and Thrilling tremors.
I don't think that thana has a lot of impact if you don't have high pressure,
PGTW is not going to help much if you don't down fast.
Things I can say about strategies:
Diagonal is better than straight
if you are close, don't charge the second blink right away, see what the survivor does.
Learn to fast turn your camera while blinking
Learn to spin your camera to both sides fast before lunging (in some pallets you need to turn right, some left).
You can scare survivors to run into you if you blink fast, it can counter dubling back on their part.
She's a lot of fun. But, if you are looking just for strenght, Spirit can do the job as well.

To the first attempts: you don't even make it inside the building. That is a clue that you simply were too far away to get up to the second floor. And you know that with range addons you need to charge longer than pre rework omega blink? I would test that again with the flannel equipped
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1269259#Comment_1269259
Lightburn bug on Wraith was in the game for over half a year. Not saying that this makes the bugs nurse has to face any less critical, just for info.
Why should he try with an addon when it's a known bug? Just to people that don't know nurse to see? With omega blink, sometimes you even blink up with no intentions because of the range. What. Are. You. Talking. About?

Agreed. Poor blink understanding or a video setup to make Nurse look bad. The killer walks further from the building as well to retry.
The second blinks weren’t charged enough either to make it anywheres. When blinking through an object you have to ‘clear’ it or it just blinks you in front of it.
Sometimes I think these bugs people complain about is just inexperience.
I wonder if some people ever played nurse in their lives. The blink was normal, duble range addons. Please, don't talk about things you don't know. It's a known bug, and it's in a lot of maps.

I prefer it the way it is at the moment over this.
Why tho? You cant use the perk if you need a lot of the killer's power. Hillbilly, Huntress, Demogorgon, Oni's power, Adiris' power and Bubba
You can't choose where to apply it, the survivor can just run away from the gen and then you don't get value out of it.
It's not like the surprise factor will change anything, if you try to hook the person they will commit and probably finish it. If it's when you hook, you free to chase and scare people off the gen.
It still would have poor sinergy with POP.

I agree

Killers such as the Nurse, Hag, Freddy and Demogorgon should not be teleporting around the map end of discussion.
I can stand Wraith, Myers and Ghostface's abilities to hide or disguise themselves, but flying across maps is idea-wise stupid and should be prevented in a chase game.
I can't suggest to remove the abilities from the four killers atm, but from now on, please consider again if you are going to design a killer with teleportation...
A serious case of a guy who needs to get good.

This would be super cool

Tired of seeing a killer using a BROWN addon being able to completely take away my ability to use a perk at all for an entire chase, generally for every chase, the entire game. They're insanely broken as is, especially Huntress', with how powerful she already is otherwise. Consider allowing exhaustion to tick down while running when exhaustion is triggered by a killer add-on - otherwise, I don't understand how a killer being able to completely remove your ability to use a perk for an entire game can be considered balanced, there's no comparable sort of perk for killers, let alone the several that a killer can remove for a game with these addons.
"...I don't understand how a killer being able to completely remove your ability to use a perk for an entire game can be considered balanced. There's no comparable sort of perk for killers..."
Hex perks can be countered by just cleasing a totem, denying an entire perk slot to a killer (this can happen even before they get any benefit out of it) and BTW there are perks to find totems by aura.
You can use aura blocking perks (Distortion, Sole Survivor, Off The Record) to negate BBQ, nurse's calling, some addons and Bitter Murmur.
You can deny iron maiden, infectiou fright with calm spirit
What about Knock Out? You can deny that perk with so much stuff. Keys, empathy, Bond, Afthercare...
Monitor and abuse against spine chill
You can deny hits: BT and MOM.
You can deny BW by using a key.
Damn, surivors can deny killer powers for god sake. Flashlights against Hag; flashlights, spine chill, premonition against Wraith; Calm spirit for the Doctor; Iron Will for the Spirit (not quite, but yet). You could see stealth killer with OoO some patches ago. OoO, you can see all traps for the trapper, Hag; it can deny mid to long range hatchets. And let's not forget: maps can track bear traps, because Trapper is OP.
What you are talking about??

Yes, there is... survivors need to do gens.

I wonder since dbd no longer runs on a P2P, but servers, a join back feature could be implemented for disconnects like this, and it would have the killer / survivor left as a husk, and the ban doesn’t apply until the game ends / husk is killed
I don't remember where I read they were thinking about it.

The penalty escalates a bit too fast when there are bugs like this. There needs to be a bit more leeway to avoid punishing players who might not be at fault. I'm not saying they should get rid of the penalty, but I think it should be much harder to reach the 6 hour penalty and beyond than it currently is.
Yeah, and the decay rate is very slow, I got 72h ban, didn't play for an entire day and still got 72h ban again.
