I think it's a great idea as long as it's fair and killers can opt out of playing against 3 and 4 man SWF
OH YEAH I wanna have that option. Then I would actually want to play the game again. I don't want to play against SWF they are just always cheating with their discord app. It is honestly just dumb

Everyone would just pick Nurse or Blight
Would kind of defeat the point of it really
Why so? Literally everyone is suck of playing against the same top 5-8 killers. When was the last time you played against the low tier killers that did not have superb power? Hell Nurse is not even the huge issue it is Blight, Billy or some other killer that has overall good power and is being used more. You can just limit the thing to like 2 killers max and only that if you are with friends it still stays 2 max choice of which killers not to be meeting very easy

You clearly want to be on power trip, so survivors in DBD are clearly not for you.
Good idea honestly. He better go for that or just play against bots as killer so you are on a power trip a bit more. Much better idea if you want to play DbD without the toxicity of the game as killer. Sadly no Killer bot yet for custom games.

This is solely to prevent face camping. Theyre not going to stop proxy camping. It would never work. Killers will continue to learn the range they can hang out at to not fill that bar. They also don't want to punish the killers for simply walking by or doing a task nearby the hook. Camping will never be unavoidable or preventable. If someone's being camped, the best you can do is gen rush. If you get camped just move on to the next one.
Not a bad idea. Although tbh then people will complain that you have given up on hook D:

- To improve balance in Dead by Daylight, map sizes should adjust based on the killer being played.
•Weak M1 Killers (Trapper, Myers, Pig, Wraith, etc.) → Smaller Maps
- •Shorter map length & width to reduce excessive running distance.
- •More breakable walls and fewer safe pallets to prevent infinite loops.
•Generators spawn closer together for better pressure.
- •Strong Killers (Nurse, Blight, Spirit, Oni, Hillbilly) → Large Maps Stay
•These killers have high mobility or chase power, so map size doesn’t hinder them.
•Survivor Perks Adjust Based on Killer Strength
•Against weak killers, strong survivor perks (Windows, Dead Hard, Sprint Burst) have slight nerfs (longer cooldowns or shorter auras).
•Against strong killers, perks remain as they are.
To be honest the only thing that seems like a bad idea is strong pallets like how many strong pallets do you think are even left in the game. Almost all pallets are unsafe unless you mean the pallets that actually block the killer and he has to break them. Otherwise every other pallet is unsafe most of the time.

I think the way the system they’re implementing will identify a survivor trying to go next is if they intentionally miss 2 struggle skill checks in a row to instantly die. I hope this system is not in play when there’s 2 survivors left because 9 times out of 10 the survivor on hook will die to give their teammate a chance for hatch
Time to watch how still everything will be the same probably except survivors will have even less desire to try and play. To be honest I wonder when will the survivor counts go so far down that the killers will have a problem finding a match.

Can I ask, what makes Babysitter overbuffed, in your opinion?
From my perspective it seems like a pretty healthy strength. It makes the person who just got unhooked an extremely unattractive target, but cannot be leveraged to gain any other benefit than that.
What's wrong with it?
He just thinks that SWF squads will abuse it by having one person being unhooker. I guess we can ask this guy if it is abusable to stack healing perks for a fast unhook heal too? Honestly the perk was buffed and it is good but not overpowered at all. Hell everything is fine because all benefit goes to the rescued person and you get aura reading to know wether it is safe to heal the guy or not. It is absolutely a fair perk. Even SWF can't abuse it to the point of insanity unless one person unhooks 3 people at once lmao.

How on earth do you abuse Babysitter? Haste is pretty much the only anti-tunnel effect that categorically cannot be weaponised under any circumstance.
You can't use it to bodyblock, you can't bait the killer into a stun, you don't get any shield of invincibility to progress the game with… I guess you could argue someone can use that Haste to get to a gen quicker, but I don't know that I'd call that abusing the perk.
Exactly. I mean I once decided to use an unhook build with babysitter to make sure the killer could not tunnel. I was not abusing anything. This perk literally gives the person who is unhooked either a chance to get away fast and be invisible for a while or well it does nothing. I agree though that SWF will always abuse every perk in existence but yeah nerfing the perk just cause it is useful is not at all a good idea. By this logic we gotta nerf all other perks because they always get abused by survivor friends. Also this guy forgot apparently that if one survivor has unhook only build that means he is using all his perk slots for saving others. I guess he forgot that the survivor role is also limited by perks. Not having dead hard ready or off the record is still a self nerf honestly. Same with windows of opprotunity too. Not equipping some perks screws you over but you give that up for other perks.

"Also the HUD does not indicate anything about camping? There is no such thing as camping meter being shown unless you knowing how much time the survivor on hook has before the next phase as info on wether he is being camped or not."
No, the HUD doesn't show you but it can be used as a gage. See someone else has just stopped repairing a gen after the hook? It's a good indication that they are going for the save. See that the someone else is in chase? It's a good indication that the killer is not camping or at least distracted enough that you can go for the save. Etc, etc…
Look I'm a 100% soloQ player I understand the frustrations. I'm all for discussing on ways to improve the experience but there seems to be these types of players that just want absolutely everything spoon fed to them and never had to put any thought into playing. To me that would make for a boring game. I'm not saving this is you - just a general comment.
It is a good thing you mentioned that yeah you can use your brain through to catch the subtle hints of what is happening however the problem is the very small information you gather from the hud could be misleading as well. For example chase starts the moment the killer moves after a survivor so the killer could be camping and just startled the rescuer or if a survivor gets off the gen you can't be sure what they are doing are they hiding or are they near the killer and that is why they dropped it just now. There is just uncertainty in that. Not to say you can't use the info but it is just not complete information is all. But yeah you are right some survivors do want everything served up and ready. Overall when we apply the uncertainty of it all in solo que everything falls apart completely because nobody has any real information sadly. At least you can tell if someone is blessing a totem or opening a chest which is nice but yeah other than that you really can't tell the situation without aura reading I guess.

I'm not a dev. I'm just pointing out what we have in the game to work with atm. We have kindred or being in a SWF on comms being the best way to know. I should add the HUB can be a fair indication too if camping is going on.
People have been kicking around the idea of basekit kindred for years. Maybe one day they will implement it.
BTW what are your must have perks that you run that you can't give a slot up?
I give up perks when I get bored. I barely use the meta perks because it gets boring after one game. Hell I don't even own off the record or decisive strike for anti tunnel. I would literally use maybe windows of opportunity and kindred as a must because SOLO QUE btw we are talking about solo que not SWF we all know SWF makes almost all aura perks that you use for the killer useless because everyone can say where the killer is 24/7. Also the HUD does not indicate anything about camping? There is no such thing as camping meter being shown unless you knowing how much time the survivor on hook has before the next phase as info on wether he is being camped or not.

I suppose, I guess from my experience I just look at the killer I go against and I just change how I play depending on who I'm going against. I don't play the same way that I play versus let's say, a Dracula compared to a Singularity.
I change how I play depending on what it is I'm going against, so some people might not like Singularity (I don't mind him). I actually don't mind any killer in general.
I typically hate Weskers a lot, but I still like being in chase with him. I go against many Hillbillies, still don't like going against him, but I still can generally loop a Hillbilly. I just don't think it takes much skill to ride a survivor into a dead zone but that's just me personally speaking — I still will try my best and loop how I do against anything, but I've been playing since 2020/2021 and to me, Trickster and a Singularity is very easy to loop. Same for the other examples, Xenomorph where I crouch repeatedly to avoid his tail attack, Knight (I watched OhTofu) counter them, so I know how to counter them (a guard is on you, just push your survivor body against a window or a downed pallet (don't take the vault) and you can trick the guard into weird pathing to prevent being hit).
Pretty sure the thing with the vaulting is just a bug and yes I am indeed saying that I have seen the damn guards walking through a wall out of the blue and hitting me. Singularity's problem is how easy it is to spam the cameras until he gets a slipstream which is very fast and as for Xenomorph pretty sure crouching does not counter the tail. Literally all xenomorphs aimg either when you are vaulting and placing a pallet or into your body not above your crouched head so that does not work at all. But yeah you are right you gotta think differently for them but still your thinking does not help. You cant counter singularity powers cause emps take so long to print xenomorph has turrets that you gotta find a strategic place to put them but eh most people got no idea where and even if you do after they are destroyed there is not much that can be done.

I’m pretty chill so like I was just going to help out a little bit, maybe give you a teammate to take some body blocks or ensure isn’t going to leave you with a bot or like let you die on hook or something. Wasn’t trying to turn you into a flashlight lord or any hit squad player, Just maybe teach you some things you might not or didn’t already know that’s not like common out there information. Up to you though. The offer is there.
Well in that case great of you to offer but for now I am taking a very nice break from DbD. So right now I am not gonna take the offer XD

After a while you learn that you have two options as killer:
First: you play fair and you'll get tbagged and bs'd as much as possible if you don't win, what will happen more often because you don't use essentiell tactics of your role.
Second:
You play as good as you can and use every chance you can get to get closer to killing them. Will you eventually destroy people like you that just want to play chill? Yes. Is it better for me still? Yes. I hate losing to people because didn't use what I got, so I'm using everything I have as an option.
I guess those are the options sadly. Because of course survivors will be dumb and the same goes for the killer when they act like that. Well GG to that. Another reason to preffer custom games with bots rather than swf with no souls

Sounding like my duo partner with the Trickster comment, lol.
Regardless, I don't DC or anything against any killer because I opt to learn and adapt. People say Nurse is hard to loop, depends on the map, skill level of said Nurse, and if the person in question is good at looping. You giving up to a Nurse on Autohaven (Blood Lodge) or Trickster (Badham) one of the most survivor sided maps in the game with so many LOS blockers is just a cop out answer for me. In order to get better at specific killers, you need to face specific killers, and learn to go against them.
I don't like Wesker, Hillbilly, or Blight at times — does this mean I go in with a negative mindset and just outright give up? No, I try my best and my best typically ends up providing good chase times for my teammates to do things.
Me going up to those 3 and just standing still because I didn't get my way via the map, killer, or my chase lasting less than a minute is just petty. Even then, I still enjoy going against them because all three of them all have the same counters and similarities with one another that I learned through facing them and not giving up. You will not get better by simply queuing up, hearing a Nurse shriek, and DC - but it's you at the end of the day, people can eat the DC penalty while I for my logical DCs get 50 second DC penalties and can easily play a game that I enjoy.
Well I don't disconnect when its nurse I simply just hide and don't let her see me which is literally the best thing anyone can do against her. And yeah your friend has the right idea because it is the truth Trickster is fundamentally braindead killer. He is just spam and your friend is not incorrect. Before that buff he received you had to actually put in effort but nah they removed every part involving thinking. As for me I know what killers suck to face because I have faced them and I have played an entire game with them and I damn well know they suck to deal with to the point of annoyance. Xenomorph hitting you on windows and pallets for free, Knight guards going through walls, Trickster stupid knife spamming, Singlarity spamming cameras during chase until he slipstreams you and even if you use a stupid emp he slipstreams you within 5 seconds again anyways cause infinite cameras. Literally the people whom I tell the problems of these killers keep telling me I am dumb. I dunno IT IS LITERALLY THIS these are the problems and why nobody wants to deal with these killers. The killer will lose only if they are a moron who can't aim whatsoever and has no idea how to use the killer.

To the hiding:
do you know in any way how afk crows work? They just update the logic behind them, they don't make it impossible to hide, you'd have to do nothing for it to trigger. It will only trigger in the case of the last 2 people if they don't do anything usefull except hiding xD
To the things with the killer:
Still, don't play survivor then. I have to deal with sabos, I have to deal with flashlights, I have to deal with palettestuns and I have to deal with endless amounts of mapofferings basically forcing me to use sacrifical wards. Do I like it? Nope! Do I leave because of that? Nope I don't, because I queue up with that in mind, and I'm not as weird that I'm leaving the match then.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3887619#Comment_3887619
Well good for you that mmr also stands on the list of changes, seems like you didn't read further after the hiding thing. Also that's to be expected if you play a multiplayer-game, I have around 3k hours and I play against people up to 10k sometimes. I still don't leave because yet again - I queue up with that in mind.
Good job on taking the ######### gamees then and yeah we will see what they do with mmr because last time they changed mmr it was horrible right. Also as survivors its funny how I never am toxic to the killers but I always get the killers that have had a ######### match just now and want to use all evil tactics to win after that. I mean good that you take the swf bullshit too good for you but some of us want a fair game and not a bring every advantage you can fest. But eh whatever you do you.

I get it, it's super frustrating starting this game, especially when there's so much to learn. Would you like a friend to play with and teach you some things to help you better face the killers, or can I recommend you to a streamer that will answer new player questions to help you learn?
I am not new but I am not a damn god in this game and I sure as hell don't want to be sweating every game because yes I have seen enough youtubers and I have seen what they do but why bother taking the game so serious. I wish I could just go on a normal chase where I drop the pallet and the killer breaks it instead of playing a 50 50 which is almost all pallets but nah I don't need someone to be teaching me the game is supposed to be fun not to be filled with tryhards everytime

It's so surprising to me that people get so burnt out over a game, continue to play it, kill themselves, call the game trash, and continue to do it.
Sorta like a person addicted to a drug, but don't know how to stop or get help.
I get burnt out sometimes, I just go hop on a single player game, and come back when I feel like playing.
It makes me wonder how often people play daily or consistently to get to that point and I say that as someone who plays pretty much daily.
I get burnt out, I'll go play Mass Effect or Fallout 4 and come back itching to play. Today, I had two people kill themselves on hook (brought Badham and Autohaven) because of a Nurse and a Trickster like lol.
Who can blame them? Nurse is annoying to face but she is at least not a common killer to see as for Trickster he is just not fun to deal with nor fair. He is literally just spam your power until you kill everyone. He does not need to use his brain and he gets free heal states without any thought. Who wants to play against such a trash killer I absolutely understand their pain I would end myself too. I only don't kill myself when I am with friends. That is kinda it but nah alone no way am I dealing with such an annoying killer.

Yeah in my opinion the simplest, easiest way to address the second stage "issue" would be if a player fails two skillchecks the player leaves the game and is replaced by a bot. They can't really force people to stay in a game against their will, that's a recipe for disaster. Plus it's a compromise for those who inevitably will want to move on to the next game while not necessarily making the game miserable for everyone else.
But instead of simply granting additional bloodpoints™, they could start flagging all the chronically go next-ers and put them in lobbies with each other. Guaranteed to curb that behavior. And 100% agree that the unhook attempting is the real issue here, which could be easily solved by only letting people attempt unhooks when there's 20 seconds left on the timer. Saves them from having to change perks, mechanics, timers etc.
But BHVR gonna BHVR I guess.
If you place all people who quit together that means half the survivor players will quit DBD actually that is a great idea. Lets go with it. Then there won't be anymore players

Okay and how many killers do you know that actually have the ability to do something about 4 survivors at once? I don't know a lot. Except that you can and you should also split instantly probably.
Removal (not even, you just have to be more active lol) of hiding of the LAST TWO people, not all. Everything it does is dragging the end of the game for a hatchescape. And yes I know killers do that too, that's probably also annoying, but that's not the point right now.

Good job you pointed perfectly out why it should be punished. Every single one of those reasons is simply invalid. Don't queue if you're not ready to play against them or deal with it, there's no inbetween.
Also I find it hilarious that you think not wanting to play against someone with 3000 hours more experience than you is invalid reason. I guess you will enjoy having a player that has only 10 hours play against a nurse or blight 4000 hours then.

Yeah I am doing that don't worry but I still call BS that you haven't even once hated the fact you faced a killer that is annoying and definitely it is not cool to be forced to deal with it. And you know if we are gonna have to deal with that guess what if I can't really be in chase with the killer I will just go for the next best thing which is avoiding him how does that sound or you think I have to put myself out there against him just to die in a horrible way because you fellas said so?

There's a good chance this is what is intended. I guess I can put up a half-assed chase if I need to for the sake of appearances but I'm pretty stubborn lol I'll cop a penalty if I'm in an unpleasant situation rather than pretend it's all okay
Yeah you are right we can all just put one pathetic chase and be done with it. If I have to be forced to play against ######### Trickster, Singularity, Knight or Xenomorph tbh I would not last long anyway. I hate them and there is nothing to make me want to stay and play against them

I think that outside of organized SWFs, CoH is useless. I play predominantly solo Q, and whenever I boon (CoH), my teammates avoid the boon like a plague. If they are injured, they make sure to heal far away from the boon (outside of the boon area). If I'm injured and inside the boon, even though my aura is revealed, no-one makes an effort to come heal me.
The way this perk was nerfed was bad, and I called it. The perk is not worth running in solo Q.
I will repropose my suggestions for CoH from back then, to make it a viable solo Q perk, but also strategic:
- enable self-heals
- when snuffed by the killer, the boon perks go on a 30-60 sec cooldown. this will disincentivize mindless booning anywhere, anytime, and incentivize strategic booning (where, when), so that the killer doesn't immediately find the boon; you'd also have to pay attention to not bring the killer to the boon during the chase
- the (self-) healing speed will depend on the proximity to the totem. The speed would be the highest right near the totem, but would drop the further you are. This would make healing on another floor not "just an easy heal". You would have to make choice to either take longer to self-heal on another floor, or go close to the boon for better self-healing speed, but risk the killer catching you and/or the boon, and then snuff it and trigger a cooldown
- optional - when healing has been done for X amount of seconds within the boon area, the boon dies out, and the boon perks of the booner go on a cooldown. you could also make it that if the booner wants to reboon before the first one dies out, the start of boon interaction on a new totem immediately snuffs out the old boon, and triggers a cooldown, while also cancelling the new bless interaction instantly. (similar to when you touch a totem and Dominance kicks you off the totem). rebooning while there's an active boon would kick you off the totem, snuff out the old boon, and trigger a cooldown
This imo would make the boons useful for solo Q and incentivize strategic use (instead of simple mindless booning without punishment).
Agreed does not sound overpowered and it not completely broken either. Amazing rework. If only behaviour could read this and say it is a good idea.

First of all the first sentence:
Lol I don't even argue one that, even if explained perfectly you wouldn't accept that probably.
To the lethal part:
I don't argue about that, could surely happen. Well I believe in the only ability a survivor has except holding m1 - running.
Free kills:
First of all as far as I know it counts for the last to survivors - that's not automaticly endgame. Second it's there to prevent the last two survivors from hiding for ages to let the other one die. And third - the hatch exists to prevent the last two people from hiding, even tho it did the exact wrong thing how it seems. The hatch is literally a free escape chance for no reason at all you have as survivor, if you really think that's a "free kill" then we're even now.
Anti-go-next:
I'm all for it to punish this, so many people in this game just kill themself on hook because they can't loop me for 3 minutes and tbag, or even tbag me from the start and lay down in the dust 5 seconds later. It's awful how many people leave for the dumpest reason even tho they could've won that easily - I even saw people that insulted teammates but told me that it wasn't my fault. So it's not even just me that has to hear the complains of not letting them farm (even tho almost every match has a dc at some point), but even survivors are triggerd by that.
"Forced to stay in every 12 year old killer main's sado fantasy" - what's yours? Being the "heroic" survivor that loops the killer for 5 minutes on the strongest loops without counterplay?
Well "too bad you won't make it much further".
You post starts with every "non-biased players" and ends with that sentence in the first paragraph. No one could read this with a straight face and agree with that.
It is hilarious how you act as if survivors are winning the majority of their games or do I have to remind you almost every game the survivors lose even if they do everything right. And hell people have a lot of reasons to give up. I only give up against killers I do not wish to play against because they are either broken, unbalanced or absurdly annoying to the point I don't want to deal with them. Why should I deal with an obviously badly designed killer instead of going to another game for example? Or you know if they will be so strict I will just play the game with one life until I die cause why bother against Trickster, Singularity, Xenomorph or Knight or someone else who is either annoying, bugged or I can see the killer is MUCH MORE skilled than me? Why should anyone be playing against a 3000 hour killer player that sounds unfair on our side. Or you just don't care whats fair and you just care for the killer to be getting the easy kills. Most games are lost anyways.

Nothing against you, but there isn't a lot about those points that are really killersided. In theorie you shouldn't even want to leave matches anymore after the second phase because many survivors always say they leave because of tunneling, camping or slugging, and all of that should be fixed to an extend that wouldn't make you want to leave. The hiding thing is good for both sides because we waste less time and the spawning together is to counter the anti-tunnel, -camp and -slugging things a little bit because that will surely be a huge nerf to killers.
In the end I'm the happiest about the map-offering and bloodweb-changes. I don't have to play on horrible maps as much anymore AND I don't waste years using my bloodpoints xD
What the ######### do you mean spawning together prevents camping and slugging. Are you listening to yourself???? If all survivors spawn together two things happen. A the killer finds all of you and starts threatens everyone at once and B he finds no one for a little bit and you got at least a part of the generator done. If survivors spawn together they are ######### almost all of the time. Also the removal of a viable mechanic aka hiding from the killer is still an absurd idea to me. We might as well just throw all the hiding perks at this rate since you all hate the hiding option.

Honestly, if they do it properly, the Go Next prevention will result in a lot more winnable games for Survivors.
The only "killer-sided" change is the Spawn Rule changes, and I don't think that'll have all that significant of an effect except at the top level of play. The rest either affect both sides equally, or are pure QOL to fix the most egregious game states like bleedouts or hiding forever in a 2v1.
We will still get slugged if we are 2 left alive, we will still get camped at 5 genertaors, we won't be able to hide for very long, we don't get to get out of a game against a killer we don't want to play because he is busted sure the quality of life stuff is good but honestly I will still not play against some killers who are literally either bugged, annoying or outright broken.

Well the machanic isn't suppose to come into play anyway, thats kinda its whole purpose existing. Yes its build up needs to be increased and it should be aware of cheesable elevation strats, but you have to remember getting camped is likely because you're winning.
Similarly with other machanics available that simply aren't visible to teammates, your teammates are likely the problem. Solo queue is a terrible experience, you never know how good your killer is and how ass your teammates are. Most of the time they're completely unaware of their surroundings and HUD, which hopefully gets some accessibility buffs soon like woth the mending visual
Say that again please? I see killers camp the hook every 3rd game at 5 generators or 4 generators. They don't camp when they are losing they camp whenever they want or if they wanna you know secure the game and win it immediately and as I said again nothing can stop them hell even kindred can be countered the killer just has to stay a little bit far away which they do anyways. How can you tell he is camping if he has to be outisde the aura reading range of the perk. Unless someone decides to combine the perk with open handed and now we wasted 2 perk slots in the name of knowing 2 things and that is if the killer is camping or not and if any survivor is gonna go save whoever is on the hook. I would say very underwelming effects for like 2 perk slots.

Well unfortunately you aren't helping if you are going to race for an unhook too because you want to get a challenge done. As @sanees wrote, keep Kindred equipped. The added benefit is you can see if someone is going for the unhook. If they are don't go too. It's a waste of time.
Edit, I see you mention you have been playing for years so you probably know all this.
Cool so we all gotta sacrifice a perk slot for an eternity because we can't understand in any other way who might be going for unhook and who is camping. Amazing very good game design.

This is the reason why kindred is the best solo perk you should never take off
Yeah you see a game should not be forcing you to run literally the same perks every game.

For survivors there is nothing better than a killer camper, your team just fixes the generators while you literally do nothing, holding off the killer
Yeah right right you mean for SURVIVOR FRIENDS who literally can tell their friends on discord. I guess you haven't watched solo que? Because even if the team somehow knows from the bat someone would have to had gone to the hook and witnessed it and now we have 1 person who knows then we got 2 more who might think they need to go. Or are survivors supposed to magically know when the killer is camping without someone having kindred? Or everyone having kindred.
-
@Emeal said:
What you want addressed is Proxy-camping, which is when a Killer is camping by standing just outside the range and not walking around or looking elsewhere for other survivors. It can be tricky to fix, but I agree still standing proxy camping is BS.
Especially considering how many killers can effectively just camp the hook and guarantee a trade for sure or just outright get a down for free. Of course when they fix this then killers will just go ahead and slug everyone until we bleed out so. We just got ######### options all around all because nobody can truthfully have fun without it being on the other side's expense. Which is why yes we better run away from those situations honestly.

While for the most part you're right about the BP thing... you also don't get shards though. In normal gamemode, you have the option to grind shards and earn a good portion on the characters that way. While this might not matter as survivor since it's just skins and you get the perks... it DOES matter as killer.
Yeah congrats on being right for that. The only way to buy killers is to play insufferable games in solo que. Kinda sad reality honestly.

But if they do this, they will no longer be releasing absurdly strong perks to drive sales like they did with mft, so this will benefit all players
Yeah exactly why they will never actually make the shrine viable it is just their excuse that the game is not p2win but it is indeed pay2win. They just have the shrine as an excuse. I am all for letting everyone use all perks but they are all for the money so
-
@JonahofArk said:
If bhvr made it so two licensed or paywall perks were in the shrine would be awesome. One killer and one survivor. Ive been waiting for rapid brutality to come backaround. Dont know how long i have to wait for it.
I wish they would but if they do then more people would not be buying their dlcs for perks. So nah they will probably never change it in the name of free money and p2win scenarios.

You get nothing from playing customs y'know if you wanna play PVE dbd go ahead
It is actually more fun than playing against toxic people as I said. At least the bots are not t bagging me every second or if its a bot killer he won't be camping me, hitting on hook, or have a loadout that is outright unfun. Also do I have to remind you that playing against players actually doesn't give you anything anyways. What is the point of bloodpoints when they are almost worthless and in cutom you HAVE ACCESS TO ALL PERKS so its actually fair game and not p2win if you play with friends. And yeah playing the custom game with friends is more fun because none of you try to be ######### to one another.

You're missing the point. I am not asking for the last 2 survivors to serve themselves up on a plate and lay down to be moried. I am asking you to finish the game. Do your objective. Hide when you NEED to. Period. Nothing more nothing less. Stop hiding for long periods of time and bouncing from locker to locker to locker…
Yeah I tried that yesterday fella. Wanna know what ######### HAPPENED the killer slugged my teammate who I repeatedly picked from the ground and meanwhile while he was chased I DID ONE GENERATOR then guess what happened he got slugged again forever because the unbreakable ran out after that he got murdered. We stand no ######### chance to live. And we got in that situation because one teammate decided to go trade while she was on deathhook and another teammate refused to let me heal him so he cant actually take a damn hit then he ended himself. Tell how the ######### anyone is supposed to go do the stupid objective when its suicide??? I am telling you again that we should just call it quits at that point or let the hatch spawn and that is it because for you to do enough generators requires super coordination and the killer to be dumb enough not to down a survivor after more than 1 minute. You must be joking if you think survivors can actually run the killer for 2 or 3 generators

Then ask yourselves, what could have been done differently? Why are we in this situation? What mistakes were made along the way? Did we 3 gen ourselves? How could I have played this differently? Maybe there is something that needs to be improved on..How did it get like this? There are A LOT of factors to keep in mind.
Yeah you are right I will raise my mmr to 2000 maybe then I will get teammates who can get chased by the killer for 3 minutes while we do all generators perhaps. Do you honestly think 3 gen is the biggest problem. Holy moly literally every time we lose its because of three possibilities. Teammate makes one stupid mistake that cost him his life and its a fall from there, the killer decided to tunnel at 5 generators and by the time we are done with maybe lets say 2 he finally killed someone which is enough to kill us all. Option 3 we somehow 3 gen ourselves like idiots which is the most uncommon option of the three. If you want me to keep looking at how IT happened THAT is how it happens. All the time. It is not about getting outplayed at all its about 2 or 3 mistakes from someone else that get everyone killed. Tell what do I do about that should I just mind control the entire team somehow so they do their job right or what?

Wesker could def use some buffs but this one cannot be it. The amount of power this would give in a 4v1 is so much more than people realize.
I wish we can make all killers equal buffing the strong killers just seems so unnecessary. We plenty of other problems. Buffing the more powerless killers so to speak would be a better idea although tbh there is already enough damage done around here anyways

Its better to try for the objective, than just hide it out for an eternity. Its boring gameplay and its boring for the killer. I have won plenty of 2v1 situations, so I wouldnt say impossible.
The correct term is boring for the killer only. So he gets 2 kills and now we got 2 other people left to kill. Oh no THOSE TWO SURVIVORS DARE NOT TO SHOW UP AND DIE TO ME how dare they. Entity please murder these idiots they should not be able to hide from meeeeee. And the Entity will be like WELL OKAY MAN and the survivors die instantly. VERY NICE then the entity realises wait a second WITHOUT ANY HOPE OF ESCAPE THEY WILL JUST easily be dead and there won't be anything interesting. Yeah I guess boring for you. What about the people who suck at chase and want to hide. Nah screw them they don't get to decide how they wanna play. Nah why should they right it is boring for the killer to just go around and search. I mean it is not like he just killed 2 people super fast or killed them at 2 gens or 3 gens. Nah he really needs to get this over with quicker. Well alrighty then if you dont want 2v1 situations how about we just have no survivors and problem is solved. Survivors just say we give up and everyone just leaves the match. I guess that will be more fun for whoever is playing killer right. Or you just want to have fun by killing the last two who are somewhat fully doomed almost you just gotta make it official. In any case its ######### hilarious how SO MANY people want to remove hiding as an option. I mean it is so fun.

How about not finding yourself in such a situation? if you 2 left and cannot fix the generators, you have failed, and forcing the killer to run around the map for 20 minutes and look for you is not the most interesting thing
Then maybe they should've just called this a running around game instead of a horror game about hiding from the killer who wants to murder you. What is the point of any of the hiding perks if now you won't be able to hide? Also how is the people who are alive fault when it is impossible to keep your teammates from making dumb decisions? Maybe you want everyone to play in a swf squads and that is it because that is the only way you can win as survivor.

@Lixadonna said:
What if someone else already decided they don't care and go next. What if Survivor have a bad match where 2 are sacrificed before 2 Generators are complete. Or if griefing is going on and no one wants anything to do with the griefer. Seems like these so called QOL just punish. It's easier for Killer is just throw and farm when they abandon a match. Would they get punished for playing in a way that they decided to go next?
Just wait for behaviour to release killer bots into custom games so you can have fun there. Honestly I preffer bot killers rather than toxic killers
-
@Cetren said:
Then you stay in the match and do your best! If you don't feel like playing the game, there is a cute little button on the bottom left of the main menu screen that will close the application and free up your time to playing a game you actually want to load into and play!
No I got better idea just play custom matches and the moment we get killer bots implemented we can just play with bot killers and we will no longer need to play against toxic killers. Pretty much end of story honestly. I am just waiting for them to release killer bots to play as survivor. Playing with toxic human killers sucks a lot.

I imagine the support competent enough that they can read the chat without censoring and not missinterpreting this report. I'd be surprised if someone actually got banned for dbd's own censoring system. Not to mention I got insult as... german and he didn't get a ban as far as I know xD
Actually true nvm did not think they got access to the chat lmao

Why even ask this question if you could just be nice aswell? I know there are pretty mean people in dbd, but that's not a reason for you to talk yourself into bans xD
to be fair I won't be surprised if someone got confused. I've seen the stupid ai redactor to censor names, simple words or outright whole sentences that are normal or you know if you type for example the words sacrifice or dying because yeah we definitely do not use those words in the game all about sacrifice and death. I can see someone confusing the situation and accidentally reporting the stuff said as bad language.

Nobody playing Victim?
An absurd statement. Simply untrue. There's just an unbalance in the ratio of Killer to Victim.
I play both sides, I prefer Killer, but that doesn't mean I don't like playing Victim in 2v8.
Both sides have to want to play on all sides for it to be popular
Citation needed (I kid, that's obviously just your opinion).
All the other posts of people having no fun
They aren't representative of everybody.
There's also threads of people loving the game. Clearly that means everybody loves it, right? No.
Probably it is fun, but I personally can't see it
Then don't play 2v8.
2 bots
They made it max 1 bot, and that's not even necessarily the case 100% of the time.
I don't have any patience to wait
Then don't play 2v8.
Your entire post is drenched in bad faith arguments. Hopefully you're just ignorant to how unsympathetic you come across, but if are aware; you really aren't convincing anybody.
Thanks for the statements my dude. Don't worry I am not playing 2v8 also WOW gee thanks for calling me unsympathetic despite being completely calm collected and put my opinion out there like a normal person. Sorry if you think I was trying to insult anybody but tbh you come as unsympathetic for ending your statement in such a rude way honestly. But yeah as I said don't worry I am not playing I am just putting my opinion out here just like everyone else. Sorry you don't like it but I believe you can get over it easily. Also why are you calling survivors victims? Kinda weird change of names there?

@A_T_E pretty much nailed it already. The simple fact is, a lot more people want to play killer in this mode… however to do so we need 4 survivors for every one killer, and since a greater ratio of people want to play killer, killer queues are longer…. we still have way more survivors than killers playing 2vs8. Your argument here would have just as much sense as saying "Well there are 4 times as many survivors in 1vs4 as there are killers, therefore killer is clearly an unpopular role that nobody wants to play". Sounds pretty silly all of sudden doesn't it?
I join games for survivors in usually 10 seconds flat, and there are at least 6 other people that want to play with me, and apparently 1vs4 constantly struggles for players when 2vs8 is live, and 1vs4 tends to be full of much sweatier games for both sides. This says to me that the bulk of the casual playerbase massively prefer 2vs8…. Soooo that seems like a pretty strong argument in favour of the mode. Just because you hate the mode is not representative of the rest of the playerbase.
I mean no offence my guy, but we've had a number of discussions now… and you seem to hate 1vs4 just as much… I just get the general feeling you don't enjoy the concept/game of DBD at all. I'm not accusing you of being a quitter, but following our previous discussions, I get the impression you tend to give up pretty easily given how you describe how "impossible" Survivor is, despite the fact that myself and many other players have no issues with Survivor at all….
Yeah you probably still think survivor is okay because unlike you I am much worse at the game and I am still forced to play with sweaty killers despite my mmr being much lower. I am still gonna sit on the logical idea that you can't put 200 hour survivor against 2000 hour killers. That just seems insanity but of course behaviour thinks people would preffer a fast game before a fair game. Kinda weird but okay. And nope never said I hated the mode I just don't think it is fair to call it that popular if nobody wants to play survivor whatsoever unless most survivors are just sweats which is not the case because most of the survivors are solo que players and we all know in solo que we are definitely dying.
-
@UndeddJester said:
I'll address your arguments from your other post here, because this one has the more traction it seems.
- Cages not relocating when a surv is near and lack of survivor unhooking - None of the problems you have described here are attributable to the design of the mode, and the same issues are in effect in 1vs4. Players playing badly by leading the killer to cages while in chase, or being silly and making the mistake of not to hiding out of range when a killer is camping a found cage is not a problem of 2v8, it is an accepted part of any game where the team that plays worse should lose.
- Legion in 2v8 - Legion only does well in 1v4 when survivors don't understand how to play against him. Having played with and against a number of Legions now, I have come to the conclusion that Legion is no more oppressive than any other killer in 2v8, but he does require Survivors to adapt how they play. The problem is if a few survivors do not adapt how they play and keep giving the Legion the scenarios he wants, then Legion becomes very strong and will mess over the players that ARE playing correctly. However if survivors play the Legion game sensibly and use their abilities properly, then Legion is perfectly managable. Again this is the same issue in 2v8 as 1v4.
- Bots - Bots are bots, there is good and bad with bots. There have been times where a bot has actually been the MVP of the round because they actually do things unlike the rest of the cowardly goombas in my team, the "no one comes to unhook" problem you describes is often addressed by the bot. There have been times they are trash, but I've had more instances where a bot directly helped me than I have bots directly hindered me. In my experience bots have tended to roughly even out their shortcomings with their strengths, and especially now there is only 1 bot per lobby. I often don't even notice a difference to a full lobby. The fact they often take the least popular role usually means your team is pretty balanced, so have often made up for the "weakness" of the team.
- Bugs - Bugs are bugs, there are bugs in 1v4, there are bugs in 2v8. This is a poor reason to write of any mode because it isn't a criticism of the mode itself. Invalid argument to the discussion.
- RPD and Indoor Maps for 2v8 - Very easy to find anyone to heal you. Injured medics have their aura revealed and can always see injured players, Guides have their auras revealed when repairing gens, often you can see players scatter as the Scout when seeing the killer aura and looking at the HUD. It's far easier to find someone is 2v8 than it is in 1v4. Herbs have been clutch for me plenty of times, particularly the yellow herb has granted me at least 4 escapes that I otherwise wouldn't have had. Green herbs tend to get gobbled up fast, so I don't often get to use them, but that tends to mean they are working.
I'm afraid the mode is extremely popular, the most popular mode the game has ever had… you're in a minority I'm afraid, and your arguments are pretty weak at the foundation, and tend to apply just as much to 1vs4, and in same cases, more to 1vs4.
I wanna ask if the mode is so popular why is nobody playing survivor? if you say well because its fun to be two killers then I guess we have to correct your statement on it being very popular to "The gamemode is super popular on the killer side of things" because if nobody wants to play survivor how can you call the mode fully popular both sides have to want to play on all sides for it to be popular and honestly all the other posts of people having no fun in the 2v8 mode seems kinda against your argument. Probably it is fun but I personally can't see it because I am not insane to wait 20 minutes for a match with 6 survivors and 2 bots. Tbh not sure how any of you got the patience for that good for you but nobody should be saying the mode is so good and popular when the other side of the playerbase refuses to participate whatsoever to the point devs have to keep bumping their bloodpoint incentives to insanity XD
