I'm solo survivor and I miss the pressure a mori would put on my team to play seriously. They now have 0 effect other than increasing teabagging from survivors that know it won't happen.
-
To many survivors run straight at the killer when they see the hatchet, survivors would always try to prompt the penalty for an easier escape. Getting out positioned vs a ranged opponent should not Grant any benefits.
-
Crouching around before and after being unhooked. Sprinting through traps to disable setup while she is occupied with teammates or can't teleport.
-
I just focus on getting my pip as solo survivor, though I do enjoy watching cocky teammates suffer at the hands of the killer. I don't need to survive, just survive longer than everyone else.
-
Not impossible, just a tough and fun challenge for solo play. And survivors have a perk that does just that and has no cool down or requirements for activation, it's called object of obsession.
-
Where's the option for fun to play against but not to play as.
-
My favorite outfits are mix & matched. I usually avoid the locked sets.
-
Smaller tr for the killers that had it and grabs to be a thing again.
-
Doubt the devs would block swf like that, but I agree that the rewards should be based off your solo ranking. Swf has to many benefits to give skill based ranking.
-
You don't need to be good at looping to waste the killers time or lose them in chase. If you know where the loops weak points and line of sight breakers are you can exploit those to gain distance/disappear.
-
Don't need to change your mind. Either your solo, that's tough but doesn't make him Op. Or your playing swf which leaves no excuse why one of you isn't distracting him from gens. Killer it's supposed to be a strong force of opposition.
-
No it just punishes survivors that come in with a clear advantage (items are time savers) and for failing to avoid the killer. You can still retrieve it, it only adds a downside to the speed boost granted after taking a hit which you should have tried better to avoid.
-
Sounds like you are waiting at the gen for to long. Spirit counter is about taking action as soon as you are aware of her. Her design gives you huge warning cues which is only negated if you ignore your window. Yes she is good at tracking, especially with certain perks, but it's still a person that can be fooled or outplayed.
-
This game definitely leans towards survivors. Full team cooperation is not hard to achieve as a solo because there's only one objective, but we get complaints of survivor woes because that cooperation is also easily broken. We need balance for when survivors are all straight business, not for those who haven't figured out what teamwork is.
-
I found the perk to be vastly overrated by survivors. It's a hex so it's already bad in my opinion, but for some reason survivors believe it very closely ensures a killer victory. Every time I have gone against this I couldn't understand what the struggle was. Do gens and Escape the chase if you get in one. The only difference is in a normal match you can leave the generator with your progression saved in place unless the killer actively travels across the map to do something to it. Kind of sad Killers can't have nice things because survivors get gen greedy and refuse to respect the killers presence with stealth or distance.
-
If the killer slugs you all that early, the lose is on survivors for being so easily found then downed. The beginning of the game is when all the pressure is on the killer, I can understand why they'd like to slug and slow down the gen pop.
-
I am all for more counter play against survivor meta.
-
Hardcore, casual players lean more towards what will work for them over what works for the game. It's why I feel pampered as a survivor.
-
Wish survivor was more difficult with less safety nets and counterplay was skill based instead of built-in to killers.
-
I'm gonna guess and say matches will continue to pair based on the lowest skilled survivor or wait time. Can't have the money makers waiting to long.
-
This matches up with the amazing idea that walking backwards to catch survivors off guard is a good play style that looks natural
-
Dumb or unaware survivors don't counter bbq. So many glaring signs before it activates and yet survivors refuse to deny the killer it's benefits. Its not op, not even that power, just survivors standing in the open complaining that they can't stand there without being detected.
-
Everyone rank resetting seems like a cover patch for the MMR system. A lot of complaints about rainbow matchmaking will be rendered mute and it will be harder to establish whether MMR is functioning properly on the players end.
-
Shadow buff?
-
Well let's hope they stay that way until devs can think of less meta alternatives. Survivors need the practice at being aware of their surroundings.
-
The devs are gonna see this data and think every killer is a beast in need of nurfs
-
Trading search time for a few meters of aura on useless totems doesn't seem like a buff.
-
Not really since the required search for totems is reduced. We lost a good chunk of time where survivors needed to get off gens or chose to power through.
-
Can't speak for anyone else but I've been encountering similar 4m swf groups that troll the killer hard then with a full team escape ready , 1 runs at me and forces their death. It's stuff like this that makes those numbers inflatable or inaccurate.
-
I would say only trolls and survivors that need more than 3 chances care about keeping it.
-
Stealth, do totems, perks to help track freddy so you can quickly jump on and off gens
-
It's not necessary unless your going to actively annoy the killer or just bad at getting away. Your better off with perks that will have use all game.
-
Just me personally, I don't want them to raise up solo q. I don't want or need my ui filled with info I didn't learn/earn myself. Swf is boring and easy, not what I want my solo experience to become.
-
Why? They're just doing what their title implies. Your not guaranteed more than the first hook, that's on your team.
-
I find it's my fellow survivors that were lacking skill. The combo only extended matches were survivors weren't focusing. It didn't change chase conditions, Grant a down, or impair progress while on a gen. The killer still needed to find 1, chase, and go for the hook. So if your team failed, it's on your survivor skills not a perk combo.
-
I think the devs have covered up the issues of rank and MMR quite nicely. now with the rank resets we'll have rainbow ranks all the time and any complaints about MMR mismatching will be swept away.
-
I'm right there with you, survivor is way too easy to play. With multiple safety nets even before perk combos and yet we still have survivors complaining it's too hard. Well I think it's supposed to be hard, it should be hard, hell it needs to be a lot harder.
-
What annoys me about The wraith change is they call it true invisibility and it's not even close.
They should also rename undying as hex sacrificial totem. Now that dull totems are back to worthless you can expect survivors going back to only tackling the hex totems.
-
It didn't need the change. I enjoyed the extension of matches. The perk only lengthened matches if killers applied pressure and didn't Grant a down or kill, that was left to the killer's skill.
-
It puts hex perks back to before undying released, gimmick perks that disappear once survivors are notified of their exsistance.
-
I will miss undying as a survivor, no longer can I max out bp on gens. It may have been to much for some survivors but I enjoyed the longer matches, waiting 5+min to play a game under 10 is a let down. A win but a let down.
-
I've had swf lobby dodge just cause I wouldn't match my character to the team. I can see trolls abusing the info, like it's not bad enough with post game toxic chat we need before we start.
-
I can see them not doing this for the same reasons they removed visible ranks. Lobby dodges because they don't approve of the build.
-
Hex were bad before undying and now return to the same state. The only reason undying was good was the fact it forced survivors to waste time hunting them all. Now we are back to dead hexes at match start.
-
Glad I wasted the effort to unlock undying for my killers. Back to no reason for equipping hex perks.
-
Killer changes- good on paper, hopefully not bad for play
Survivor changes- won't dethrone them from the power role
-
That's my first 5 matches everyday.
-
I would enjoy not having foolishness in my matches. As solo I get paired with a lot of swf and it usually results in them attempting to troll the killer, would be nice to have regular teams that don't make teabagging the 1st objective.
Yes we would lose some people, but I don't think the game would die unless swf is more frequent than the community let's on.
-
Once you see it's swf just stop using hooks, let them 4 man facing the ground. You can't stroke their egos by playing their way.
-
So you sacrifice 1 for 3 to escape, doesn't matter what perks bubba runs; he still has to make it to you, find you again, complete a chase and repeat that two more times. At which point 1 of the 3 remaining should have opened 1 of 2 doors.
Sounds like a favorable senerio to me but I don't mess with swf so don't really care if the killer spends the whole match on 1 person.
