I don't think so. When I go against a totally trash survivor team it's usually brutal killer because they get chain downed and die on 1st or 2nd hooks. I could farm points but why bother, I just end it and move to the next game.
Pipping as a survivor is trivial in most cases, unless your team is getting absolutely butchered. Do a gen, make 1-2 saves with borrow time, run the killer for like 30-40 seconds and that's all it takes to be a red rank survivor these days.

Dear survivor mains, in game you have no skill, but when it comes to spot something working on the killer side, you get all the skill of being stupid to say it's unbalanced and needs to be nerfed into the hell. Not even mentioning Spirit has not a great synergy with Ruin/Undying, becose she can't read aura of those trying to cleansing, and tinkerer don't make quiet her phasewalk sounds. All you want to do is SIT THERE and HOLD M1. And well, you will do. If you call this gameplay "horror" you are the gaming monster over here.
Sluzzy is not a survivor main. I checked his profile after he left a comment on mine a few weeks ago and it was full of salty comments from survivors. I even subscribed to it because it was so funny.
Ruin / Undying is insane on any killer. And with the nerf to pop it's really the only good gen control out there unless you are playing Freddy. For killers who were already used to running no stall perks and winning the games through camping/slugging/tunneling for pressure, moving to ruin undying is pretty much god mode against any non meta SWF.
-
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=22XaOnYvGeI
Just watch this guy play. He has lost 1 game out of the last 212, even against 4 man meta SWFs, and he rotates between all the different killers. I took his playstyle to rank 1 with great success and win the overwhelming majority of my killer games even against SWFs.
-
I mean, it's pretty risky to run object these days. When I see an object user and I am pyramid head I rub my hands in anticipation of an easy cage farm. It used to be really annoying before undetectable but I think it's fine for the most part now. Incredibly risky for solo Qs to use, and if you make the mistake of chasing the object user around in a SWF that's your own fault.
Freddy can still deal with any object user by trapping them with snares. If he knows he is going into an object match he can use black box + blindness blocks to dish out some real pain and make them regret equipping it.

Trapper:
- Iridescent Stone (Ultra Rare)
- Stitched Bag (Very Rare)
Basically just trap all loops and you'll never have to worry trapping anything for the rest of the game.
Wraith:
- Coxcombed Clapper (Ultra Rare)
- "Windstorm" - Blood (Very Rare)
You make 0 sound while cloaking and uncloaking and you can traverse the map with imense speed and ambush Survivors very very well with this combo.
Billy:
- LoPro Chains (Very Rare)
- Mother's Helpers (Rare)
2 good Add-Ons with basically no downsides. LoPro if used against injured Survivors will get hits at pallets which you wouldn't get without it. Also, this Add-On is one of the most satisfying ones ever released. Mother's Helpers gives you faster charge after pallet stuns which is always nice.
Nurse:
- Kavangha's Last Breath (Very Rare)
- Fragile Wheeze (Rare)
More Range and faster blink recovery speed. Basically buffs the strongest Killer in the game.
Huntress:
- Iridescent Head (Ultra Rare)
- Infantry Belt (Very Rare)
This combo won't be as strong anymore at some point but for now it's to obvious that this is the most powerful Huntress combo and also the most busted combo in the entire game.
Myers:
- Tombstone Piece (Very Rare)
- J. Myers Memorial (Rare)
The ability to kill someone off early with no real penalty makes this the best combo for Myers. Of course there is this penalty of losing a quarter of the progress bar but you killed someone off, which basically wins you the game instantly. J. Myers Memorial makes it even stronger by making the stalk time less.
Hag:
- Mint Rag (Ultra Rare)
- Rusty Shackles (Very Rare)
Mint Rag lets you teleport anywhere whenever you want, the Trap doesn't need to be triggered. Also, when you teleport you make almost no sounds while doing so, making it very similar to the old (Mother Daughter Ring/Prayer Beads) combo on Spirit.
Doctor:
- Iridescent King (Ultra Rare)
- High Stimulus Electrode (Rare)
This combo became even stronger since they removed the downside of the electrodes. Iridescent King basically does everything, every single affliction will be applied and you will lose brain cells as Survivor. The electrode is nice to have since it increases your shock range without a downside, making it easier to put Survivors into high madness.
Cannibal:
- Iridescent Flesh (Ultra Rare)
- Award Winning Chili (Very Rare)
2 Add-Ons with no downsides. Iridescent Flesh replenishes all Charges when you hit someone with the Chainsaw, which isn't really hard, and Award Winning Chili basically increases the Duration of your sweep without any downsides. I didn't use it yet but it's probably the best combo to use.
Nightmare:
- Red Paint Brush (Ultra Rare)
- Swing Chains (Very Rare)
Get 8 % slowdown right at the start of the match since everybody is asleep. Survivors can't wake up by using skill checks and they'll immediately be vulnerable to your snares. Swing Chains also applies slowdown to awake Survivors from -2 % up to -8 % for each asleep Survivor.
Pig:
- Tampered Timer (Very Rare)
- Jigsaw's Sketch (Very Rare)
Basically make Reverse Bear Traps as deadly as possible with this combo. Tampered Timer reduces the RBT Timer from 2min 30 sec. to only 2 minutes and Jigsaw's Sketch increases the Jigsaw Boxes from 4 to 5, making it very hard to remove Bear Traps.
Clown:
- Redhead's Pinky Finger (Ultra Rare)
- Cheap Gin Bottle (Very Rare)
Similar to Huntress, Red Head's Pinky Finger lets you instadown Survivors. You have to hit someone with a bottle directly which will apply the "Exposed" Status Effect for as long as they are intoxicated (2 seconds base after they leave the cloud). Cheap Gin Bottle will give you 2 extra Bottles making it 6 in total. 6 Chances to hit someone with a bottle to insta down them.
Spirit:
- Mother Daughter Ring (Ultra Rare)
- Yakuyoke Amulet (Very Rare)
Since the old Prayer Beads got nerfed, making it not as strong anymore, this combo is the new best combo on Spirit. Mother Daughter Ring gives you +40 % movement speed while phasing, making you extremely fast. Yakuyoke gives -15 % on phasing speed but will give you +3 seconds of duration on your Power.
You basically move 25 % faster now with 8 seconds of duration with the downside of not seeing scratch marks, which won't bother decent and good Spirits.
Legion:
- Iridescent Button (Ultra Rare)
- Stolen Sketch Book (Rare)
Iridescent Button lets you break pallets when you vault them which is a very nice thing and will also make your Terror Radius cover the entire map while using Frenzy, basically giving you information of where everyone is. Stolen Sketch Book is his best Add-On, which basically increases your Duration during Frenzy, making it easier to chain Frenzy Hits and reach spots easier.
Plague:
- Black Incense (Ultra Rare)
- Vile Emetic (Very Rare)
Black Incense will give you Wall hacks everytime a Survivors is vomiting while being broken. Vile Emetic basically makes sure you get Survivors broken faster when puking on them. Since you have one corrupted pool now by default, you can first break everyone, drink from the pool and you know where everyone is while you have your extremely deadly Corrupt Purge.
Ghostface:
- Chewed Pen (Rare)
- Olsen's Adress Book (Uncommon)
Depends on how you play Ghostface. If you stalk, you switch Olsen's Adress Book with "Ghostface caught on Tape". I rarely stalk, I rather use the hit and run combo where I injure people and ambush them when they heal and try to apply injures on everyone, moving around everyone to make me unpredictable as possible. Chewed Pen and Olsen's Adress Book reduce your recovery from Night Shroud from 30 Seconds to 16 Seconds, giving you more time to be in stealth mode.
Demogorgon:
- Mew's Guts (Uncommon)
- Rat Liver (Common)
The first cheap best Add-On combo. But unfortunately Demo's rarer Add-Ons really suck while his cheap Add-Ons are good. Mew's Guts gives you one extra Portal and faster recovery after missed Shreds and Rat Liver increases your movement speed from 92 % to 101 % while holding Shred, making you lose no distance while using Shred.
Oni:
- Lion Fang (Very Rare)
- Scalped Topknot (Rare)
Lion Fang gives you +10 seconds extra duration on your Blood Fury Power, raising it from 45 to 55 Seconds which is almost one minute of an extremely powerful Power. Scalped Topknot is his best Add-on and it reduces your charge while charing up the Demon Dash ability from 2 to 1 second which is similar to the insta Saw Billy before his nerf but more powerful.
Deathslinger
- Warden's Keys (Rare)
- Modified Ammo Belt (Common)
His Add-Ons aren't really crazy but double Reload Add-ons reduce his Reload time from 2.75 Seconds to 2 Seconds, making it really fast and you lose less distance while reloading.
Executioner:
- Burnig Man Painting (Rare)
- Wax Doll (Uncommon)
Increases the Range of your Range attack from 8 Metres to 10.5 Metres, which is his best combo. Similar to Deathslinger, his Add-Ons aren't crazy or are just bad. All his "very rares" should be avoided since they do very little. His ultra Rares are meme'y. Double range makes him deadlier if you know how to use his range attack.
Blight:
- Compound 33 (Ultra Rare)
- Alechmist Ring (Very Rare)
Compound 33 lets you break pallets instantly when slamming at them and it will stun you for 1.5 seconds which is so little that the Survivor won't gain any distance after you break the pallet. It is basically Spirit Fury/Enduring as an Add-on, and it also slows Survivors within 16 metres while you are slamming, giving you opportunity to hit someone easier. Alchemist Ring recharges all your Tokens when you hit someone with a Rush, similar to Cannibal's "Iridescent Flesh".
Those are my opinions and the majority consist of 1 Ultra Rare and 1 Very Rare Add-on.
I agree with most of it. Not sure if I think mint rag is the best since you really only use it for cheesy tactics and can't spam traps freely while using it, where-as the extra range one is just great overall.
Cannibal is also debatable. You will only get use out of Iri flesh against bad teams while also running infectious fright. Good teams won't let you chain the downs and having double chili or purple chili + primer bulb is better in a 1v1.
Oni I prefer the extra blood orbs one over the duration. It lets you get your first blood rage much faster than usual and having it earlier instead of lasting longer is better to me since it allows you to snowball as quickly as possible.
Deathslinger I like reload + extra chain strength over double reload. It allows a ton of hits that would normally not be possible with the base chain.
Executioner I think double range is redundant. I think range + duration is the way to go. You can hold the sword for sooooo long with the green duration and it allows you to cover entire loops in his trails while also threatening the M2 at the same time.

Does anyone have tips for Clown? I just got him and I’m not sure what perks/addons to use.
Also, the Clown DLC is free right now if you have game pass.
His best is probably 6 bottles + pinky finger or 6 bottles + bleach. You can do ether 15% + bleach for some really really nasty bottles but only having 4 bottles with the base reload is awful. I try to always have 5-6 bottles or a cork stopper equipped. Having the bigger gas clouds can be nice when you are having an off-day or are tired and are missing the shots.

You can hide it till 5 stacks if your M2 is capable of Downing someone. DH is only revealed when you Basic Attack someone with it at 3 stacks or more.
That's actually wrong, I just tested it ingame.
https://clips.twitch.tv/ViscousPhilanthropicPenguinBloodTrail
Although it would have been pretty hilarious to end a game like that by popping a surprise 5 stack devour on someone.
-
I think he's pretty meh. His power doesn't really help you at super tight loops and you are reduced to an M1 killer, similar to Billy. There's tons of objects with no collision that will lose you chases because you just slide off them instead of bouncing. He's good out in the open but every killer is good out in the open.

What add-ons do you think are overpowered?
The general consensus seems to be that she needs an add-on pass (I think she has some useful add-ons, though, personally).
If you put on tampered timer and jigsaws sketch, there is actually 0 time to search all the boxes if your trap is activated on the hook. It is up to RNG if you live or die. I play her when I want to play russian roulette with the survivors. It is a 20% chance to die by RNG, more if the pig wants to deny you boxes. Does it bother me? Not at all. It is punishment for going down to one of the weakest killers in the game.

Sometimes no matter how skilled of a survivor you are if the killer wants you dead there isnt much you can do. Even if you manage to loop the killer for 1-2 gens 3v1 is mostly going to end up being a 4k
That is correct, and that is how the game should be. A chase with the killer is always a losing battle. That's why survivors should not hand them out no matter how cocky they are. But the twitchies and youtubers have conditioned the masses otherwise.
-
Just a trash M1 killer with some very overpowered add-ons. Anyone who thinks anything else is out of their mind.

I personally think green moris should have a requirement too. If a killer hooks and tunnels the first guy down to get the mori quickly it's pretty much gg especially if its before a gen has been done.
That's just lack of skill on the part of the survivor. If someone is going down at 5 gens left twice, they were going to die anyways. Even through crutch strike. Unless the killer was nurse, spirit, or someone else who ignores the general mechanics of the game.
-
I like RNG keys, and I like mori's when they are used occasionally. It keeps the game scary for the weaker killers who are normally looped into oblivion. An ivory mori targeted at a certain player is great. Who knows who it is for? RNG keys keep an element of surprise for the killer. When they are spammed it is annoying and overpowered.

People who spent shards on the new cosmetics basically got scammed because they reduced the cost and didn't compensate at all for a unprecedented reduction 3 days after release.
And i dont think i need to say how long it takes to get thousands of shards
Cosmetics are cosmetics. I bought the new blight skins at full price days before they were reduced and don't care. I play the game enough it does not matter to me. Anyone who doesn't have the time to do so must be professionals and have the money to buy them if they want.
-
@Boss said:
Really depends on your tastes.
@kcwolf1975 is right though: You can postpone your decision until the very last day, since buying premium means you immediately get every tier on premium that you already have on the free track.
The truth. It just depends on how much you want the cosmetics. The last rift was great, "the thing" hag was worth buying to me. Nothing in the current rift looks good enough now though.
-
I don't notice any difference. There can be lag but with the vault build being so prominent you should kind of expect survivors to be lobbing through windows at light-speed and recognize the need to pre-swing at them.
-
I've gotten a few people at the hatch. Recently with wraith and deathslinger. I don't like how people think getting it is an accomplishment, and run whispers when I want to sweat for the 4k. No free escapes when I don't want to hand them out.

Sometimes you eat the bear, and sometimes he eats you. This game is a stress simulator. That is somehow fitting because it is based on a horror genre in theory, and those films are all about creating and sustaining stress. The bigger the stress, the greater the release when it tones down. You get the idea. While I despise bad sportsmanship, and tea-bagging is certainly that, you can't let that stuff get to you. What happens in the match, stays in the match. If you end up against better people than you, just give it 100% and laugh off the tea-bagging and Salt. You will learn faster. Think of it like a sort of Boot Camp where you will get the last laugh and one day make the Drill Instructors pay dearly.
I am still very new. There are people who have been playing this game here since 2016. I started in time to experience pre-matchmacking, matchmaking, and the current post-matchmaking. As a result, I ended up constantly fighting two levels above my Rank. I was fighting Red+Purple when I was Green. I was fighting pretty much all Red (or mostly Red) by the time I was Purple. While I found it flattering that the game thought I was "ready for the Show" so to speak, it really frustrated me. In hindsight, I learned a lot. Play against the best and you will get stomped. I make no bones about that. Each match will be a grueling, painful testament to how bad you are in comparison to them. But you do get better, and you get better fast.
And take it with a grain of salt that even the best have bad games. All those awesome Streamers you see are choosing which videos to show us. They lose games too, and some of them even show us the losses. While this game does rely a lot of skill and experience, it also has a considerable luck factor. Sometimes you are just in the right place at the wrong time. That is why you cannot fixate on an individual game. That will drive you crazy. You set long term goals and you move toward them. In the face of that, the odd setback is really just par for the course.
I logged back in just to upvote this post. I never got teabagging in this game. My experiences against really good killers is that you don't even have time for it. Nothing is better than jumping into a game and unleashing a barrage of attacks so accurate and deadly that it demands respect from the survivors. And if they don't show it? They die. It's that simple.

I've always reported hackers, but always got too upset to remember to report the insulters hahaha. Btw rumour has it the devs rarely pay attention or act up to the people who got reported..... I'm not sure if that's true.
They do. If there is one thing the devs are good at, it is banning hackers. Every hacker I have tracked and reported after providing video evidence has been banned; and fast. That's why shadowplay is a great thing.
-
I facecamp them, assuming I have the time to do so. If a game starts with someone teabagging me with object of obsession, they better not go down with 4-5 gens left.
-
The Q times are bad at certain times. I don't want to wait it out.
@dugman said:
On a tangent to me basically 0-1 kills are a loss, 3-4 kills are a win, and with 2 kills the game is a tie with the tie breaker being the score. If I get the highest score of all five players in a 2 kill match then I consider it a close win, if I was second highest it’s a close loss, and if the scores are basically the same it’s just a draw. That’s just me though. (I couldn’t care less about pips or “Brutal Killer”, etc)
2k is a draw. But it is a hallow victory when you are practically cheated out of 2 gens by multiple skeleton keys. Someone hid it too, I could not even get rid of it.

yes for those types of builds i like the double crouched speed, or the pink tape
Well for stalking I do really like his leaning ultra rare + chewed pen. Some people consider it bad but I don't know how. It cuts the stalk from like 2.5 seconds to 1.5 seconds or something similar and that's massive when you are trying for a close range stalk at a generator. Otherwise double recovery is the best. I do like combat straps for stalking builds as well but double recovery is better if you have it.
For stalking builds I usually just run tracking perks. Discordance is great since its almost like being given objectives by the game to go disrupt, just make sure not to look at the gen as you approach since spine chill is very meta. I have really been liking the new mindbreaker as well, nothing is more annoying than spending alot of time getting the perfect angle for a stalk just to have the survivor sprint burst off a generator. Whispers is super solid if you have good map knowledge and can use it to triangulate the positions of the first survivors. I don't like pop on him too much because you will be revealed while going to kick a generator in many cases, ruin or sloppy is probably better for regression if you want it.
For stalkless ghostface I run chase perks. You will get dumpstered by good survivors without them attempting to just M1. The first hit is usually easy but finishing the job can be very rough if they are strong loopers. Enduring, brutal strength, bamboozle, spirit fury, etc.
Anti-heal ghostface is dead in my opinion. The new healing perks are just too strong to attempt heavy target swapping without a mobile character such as the wraith. That playstyle is now restricted to windstorm wraith to me.
-
Big question, do you stalk or not?

Iridescent shards are a free way to get 4/6 of the new skins
Never Stop Slashing not having mask animations despite the fact it is possible to implement such (look at Oni f/e) and is missing a lot of details from the sketch everybody voted for (like colour of the coat)
Its a acknowledged sound bug which might actually become a feature to make spirit have to actually play the game
Discordance was a weird one I will give you that
Their main focus was and still is pc, but right now they are planning a head and working on next gen
Just because its event only now doesn't mean that isn't subject to change if community feedback is strong enough, such as plundering ultra rare items from chests or keeping bloody party streamers and escape cakes/pudding
Macmillan maps generation is bugged. They can only play so many matches with their small team of course if you generate a map a million times rather than 20-30 there can be bugs
Groaning storehouse borderline OP window, just drop chase or pick a killer with a power or perks that plays around it
Shelter woods are still shelter woods, thats the design they want if they wanted to add more to the map they would have
Thanatophobia phobia nerfed more than buffed ok, the idea was to still incentives survivors to heal having a perk that is slowdown on top of slowdown is a bit much
We are going to live forever having less amount of ways to earn tokens (Head On saves don't give tokens f/e) this one is a weird one they scuffed it a bit but having a secondary effect finally is nice
Pyramidhead nerf that horribly crippled him and his camera, oh no pyramid head has to actually play the game now, at least they made his power faster which lets you try more interesting plays
Killer having weird models and animations when spawning in the trial this doesn't even affect gameplay it just shows what the first person model actually looks like from 3rd person which is more interesting then anything harmful
most of these complaints are honestly just nitpicking to try and complain about something
I agree with pretty much all this, just people complaining about mostly nothing when the devs have handed out like half a million BP in codes in the last month or something. The killer load in bug I find pretty funny, and it impacts nothing. Console performance has always been trash, nothing new there.
The only complaints I have are a few fat shame areas on the macmillan maps and that even when I am attempting to farm I can't get enough petals to offer one every game because the spots are taken up by the dash add-ons in many cases.
-
I don't think it's even a bad event? Ghostface cosmetics have always been paid DLC. The nurse cosmetics were bought in the rift a long time ago and handing them out free would feel like a slap in the face (I don't even have them for the record).
The legion and blight cosmetics are great. There's tons of easy BP to be had, and the blight dash for the killers is hilarious. What's not to like?
-
I can see it. Playing against SWF feels more like a chore than a game. Playing against solo Q feels psychotic because of how fast they die. There is no medium or balance.
-
I played some kill-trap pig last night. Tampered timer and jigsaw sketch, along with the game offering for flavor. The definition of RNG kills. Once it's active, it's totally up to fate if you live or die. I let everyone who got it off escape. And my reward? Teabagged at the exit gate. I gave up after 3 games, and then ran into a very wholesome SWF with names with "we boop the pig" but I was no longer playing the pig at that point; but still had a very fun and engaging match with ggs all around. I wondered where those players were just a few games ago.
-
I think they should just make the boxes a bit less RNG. You have 4 traps. One will be removed on first attempt, one will be removed on second attempt, one on the third, etc. So it's RNG if you get a deadly trap or an easy one, making them still very threatening to have on you, but a bit less random game-to-game if your power is going to be RNG mori's or do nothing.
Tampered timer + jigsaw's sketch is literally a set and forget mori in the current state of the game. It is the pigs greatest strength, and needs to be considered before any buff to her.

YOU CALL NURSE BRAIN DEAD?!
Yeah, I mained her back in her prime many years ago because she was so OP. I still have the muscle memory to play her very well. I find it one of the easiest DBD experiences unless you load into a particularly hideous map like Lery's.
-
Equip disciple and range add-ons, spam shocks at every loop. You are now a good doctor.

They're very powerful since everyone runs an exhaustion perk. 1 add-on can deny 4 Survivor perks. Pretty nuts.
They removed the doctors exhaust add-ons during his rework. Huntress will be changed the same way when they finally get around to an add-on rework. 90 second exhaust hatchets have no place in the current state of the game. It's just too bad the devs have waited 4 years now to get around to it.

They are a relic of a past time when survivors recovered exhaustion while moving. They need to be removed. Same with clown's gas bottles but clown is so meh that it's not really an issue for him.

Optimal maybe it just doesn't sound like an enjoyable way to play. Some games I get the competitive element but dbd is asymmetrical, unbalanced, heavily RNG-based, buggy af etc etc. I mean there's probably an optimal way to play Mario party but is there much point in doing so?
Why don't you tell that to all the people playing spirit/nurse/hag/oni/freddy/pyramid head with mori's at the higher ranks? Absolutely braindead killers that anyone can pick up and do well with.
It's pretty miserable for survivors, but effective for the killer. So I don't blame survivors for adapting. It's just playing to win. Nothing more.
-
Spirit mains are cringey, unless they are new to the game. Actually, any killer who mains 1 killer is pretty cringe. Same with the endless huntress mains who get carried by the broken hitboxes. Or nurse mains.
I remember this one guy who told me "clown gameplay is lousy for survivors" and he then goes and practically mains the spirit / hag and I am boggled and cannot find the words to describe my feeling about that.
I play her every now and then when I want an easy game or am too tired to actually play DBD.

I mean if you're not entitled to three hook states is anyone else on your team entitled to you having more than one? Also playing like a "competitive swf" sounds unfun for everyone involved.
I don't play in a competitive SWF. I play solo Q. But I can tell you my experience playing the killer against competitive SWFs. I played against some of the ones that were in the 10,000$ hexy tournament multiple times. And they leave survivors on the hook against mori's while they rush the gens. It is optimal.
-
You are not entitled to 3 hooks. I run deliverance in solo Q for that very reason, to make sure I usually get a second chance. If the killer is running a mori? There is literally no reason not to leave you on the hook until 2nd phase, that's what the competitive SWFs do.

good thing I don't use blendette but I use urban evade and spine chill,I like to know what incompetent in a teammate to you
I maybe urban evading around but I doing gens and totems (I don't use a map or tho perks) still find 3 or 4 ,take people off hook safely(no BT) and if I can't and the killers camping I'll trade hooks sometimes and I don't use 2nd change perks.I'm a solo rank 3
so I like to know what a good teammate is
A good teammate is someone who actually does gens, makes smart saves, and makes relatively good decisions. You don't need to be good in a chase to be good at DBD, although I find the chases to be the only fun part of it so I have engaged in them enough I would say I am relatively good at them.
I am saying I have watched, as the obsession is across the map being chased, (using resources); my teammates hiding behind rocks and bushes while fully healthy and never been hooked. It literally just happened in the game I played because I haven't played survivor in so long i'm back at rank 9. But it happens all the way at rank 1-4 as well.
I am sitting on a gen injured after the killer had to abandon a chase with me, and they are standing behind the tree near me because we are in the 40m monitor and abuse terror radius and they are too scared to get on it and actually progress the game. That's how you lose. And we lost. It was a hatch game, and I keyed out. There was a survivor who went down next to the basement, which already had someone in it, to finish a gen. I had to rush down there to get the guy out before he got a 2 man basement and ended the game. Then I had to abandon the shack and go to unsafe loops where I got downed so my teammates could make a basement save and they slacked so hard on it he almost got back in time. None of that had anything to do with gameplay ability, that was all decision making, and poor decision making.
-
I think it's funny, and if someone gets me with it I accept I was outplayed. No changes needed imo.

No corrupt, no discordance on a low mobility killer. You should expect ridiculously fast games not running either of those perks.

well I like the hide-and-seek of the game but all survivors are different also play both sides so I know how killer feel why they want to end a chase.
That doesn't matter? The killer should not automatically get a down because they found you. The killer tracking perks are just way too strong for that.
I hate having immersed survivors on my team. It's literally painful to watch someone urban evading around while there is a clear indicator someone else is being chased. I can't put on bond in solo Q because I will rage at how incompetent my team is most of the time. And it's not even for being bad in a chase, it's just for simple decision making. Hiding when your team is being killed off and you are 100% safe to do gens. That's why I mori every blendette I come across.

There are no true infinites.
Do they need to be? A 2 minute chase is game-winning in DBD. A god window is still a god window.

I like that attitude, you seem to be the kind of guy I learned not to chase for too long :P
I will admit that many killers are very overtuned right now, and some could probably use a general nerf across the board. They feel designed for the pallet infested maps of old, where-as many of the new maps are barren and give little option to the survivors other than to hide. And I like DBD as an action game instead of hide-and-seek which is why I am disappointed in the way the game is headed.

With helpless i ment you can not defend youself. Killer can hurt survivors but not the way around. This is not a complain, i just give you the answer i think about this topic.
By the way i also play both sides, so i understand also how it feels to be annoyed by 4 little brats, but what has that to do with the question the op has?
Killer can hurt survivors but not the other way around? I disagree with that. You can run the killer for 4-5 generators, slamming pallets on their head the entire time, and that is not hurting them?
If a killer is focusing me and they don't have a particularly BS chase mechanic I love it. It's my chance to carry the game. That's why I don't get people who complain about being tunneled. I'd rather get tunneled out and be the person with the entire map to work with than someone hiding and doing the gens, because at least then something friggin happened that game.

It seems to me the definition for god windows has loosened quite a bit. My DBD age is showing.
I think the only loop that a good survivor cannot be caught at is Crotus Penn Asylum.
The others the loops are complex but can be countered with map knowledge.

Ok they are not actual god windows. But I consider a god window a window that will waste enough of your time you will lose the entire game chasing through it early on, especially if they are chained into nearby pallets. It's a window that can be mindlessly looped 3 times with no counterplay from the killer and will take you probably at least a minute to even score a hit. And a minute for 1 hit in DBD is probably 2-3+ gens done or almost done if the rest of the team is alive.

The reason survivors ######### on killer mains is usually because the killer wants to be the power role and indeed has the power to actually "hurt" survivors, while they can only run away and cant do anything else. Killer usually behave like total #########, so it feels good to give them a taste of his own medicine when they actually succeed escaping or even trolling the killer.
I dont like toxicity in general, but thats most likely the reason.
Also respect has to be earned. Lets use you for example. I dont have any respect for you because you are a whiny killer main who is not even happy with a 4K. So why should i have respect for you and other killer who think like that?
I love how people act like you can't play both sides. I usually play the killer, but that's because I find survivor boring. Holding M1 is boring to me, I play survivor when I want to relax. Killer is an intense experience the entire match.
And it's not like the survivors are helpless victims, you are only helpless in the face of the strongest killers / builds in the game. Other than that? You can still mess the killer up in a 1v1 if you play better than them. That's the appeal of DBD. People who get slaughtered and then cry about just need to play better in most cases, because most killers rely on survivor mistakes.

The only BS loop that comes to mind is Crotus Penn Asylum has a god loop window. Other than that I think loops are fine.
It sounds like OP is talking about tile spacing and probably the middle of Suffocation Pit. I do not think there’s anything wrong with this map considering how much weaker the rest of the map is.
There's still some infinite windows around. Grim Pantry, Ormond, Disturbed Ward, Father Campbells Chapel, Haddonfield, and Rancid Abattoir all have god windows still. There's probably a few more but those are off the top of my head.
Dead Dawg also has a borderline infinite loop with balanced landing. Anytime someone offers dead dawg and I see them sitting at that loop I just facecamp the entire lobby because I instantly know why I have been sent there.

Great for him,but you can do that with pretty much every killer tbh.
It doesn't change the fact that Myers is vastly outclassed by killers with more or less similiar powers (e.g Oni and Ghostface)
Myers definetely needs something to make him more fun and engaging to play.Because right now he's more or less THE definition of M1 killer.
Well if you are going by that logic, there is a huge line of killers much weaker than myers that should be buffed first. I honestly don't think ghostface is better than him.
Myers can easily snowball, ghostface can't. You go into the basement vs myers and it's terrifying. You go into the basement vs ghostface and it's usually whatever. Especially once add-ons come into play. Ghostfaces add-ons are trash. Myers add-ons can turn him into the scariest killer in the game.
And I would not compare Oni and Myers. They are both snowball killers, but myers does it from range and from stealth. Oni has to actually go score M1 hits first.

Don't forget the notifications at 70%.
It makes it easier to control gennys, also sneak up get first hit. Or grabs. Grabs with tinkerer have been amazing.
Then a quick phase to down them. And you just had a 5 second chase.
I mean it's nice but I just don't find it optimal. It's the same reason I stopped running it on pyramid head. I've gotten grabs with pyramid head and it's hysterical but spine chill is meta enough I don't find it reliable.
I think the only person I have it on is leatherface (along with pop) because he just 1 shots you if he closes the gap and then you pop the gen for another tinkerer proc. And I know you can achieve the same result with ruin undying but I don't like leaving half my perks to RNG. Or having to dodge lobbies because there is a map.
-
I think he is pretty much fine as he is. Probably the only thing that needs looking at might be how his stalk meter regresses randomly due to dedicated servers. I feel like alot of people make the mistake of stacking regression perks on an M1 killer instead of the perks that help get downs against good survivors (enduring, brutal, bamboozle, etc).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DlM9ooRw_wE
You can watch this guy slay almost everyone with myers using only shadowborn and no add-ons at rank 1.

Like I said,I just broke her out of retirement.
I have been playing wraith recently and having fun.
But was kinda curious of how strong this would be on her.
Also with discordance and tinkerer. Even losing both hexes early, I still get a lot of notifications.
I don't see why you would use tinkerer on spirit because even when she is undetectable they can still hear you phasing up to the generator. Unless you are just walking up to it but you may as well have monitor if you are going to do that.
