Survivors hiding in the corner of the map is no different to a killer not leaving a 3 gen to commit to a chase.
Both make the game long and boring. In a way both are passively completing an objective, killer is stopping gen progression and survivor is trying to outlive their teammate to survive 🤷🏻♂️
-
You can pull it off with some coordination with other survivors.
Or if you have DS active you can bait the killer into grabbing you while the other gets the save.
-
Forced Penance, Agitation, Iron Grasp & Mad Grit is your answer
-
The Executioner’s Ultra Rare add ons are trash.
Obsidian Goblet should at least make you undetectable while you are trailing rather than having to stand on the trail to achieve the effect
Seal of Metatron is just a situational version of BBQ & Chilli. At the very leas t it should reveal auras of all survivors, regardless of whether or not they are tormented when you cage someone, at least the. It encourages sending people to the cage rather than saving torment for the Final Judgement.
-
Pyramid Head: Most players seem to tunnel with him and he can literally mindgame you by just holding M2.
-
People are over exaggerating how hard it is to T3 with tuft of hair, especially with add ons that increase stalk rate.
-
Can’t take away escape attempts, they are the only way to counter Spirit, Nurse, Slowdown Freddy and bad teammates.
-
Nurse & 4K slug? You’ll get no sympathy from me.
I’m pretty sure this is just a bait post to trigger survivor mains.

Because It's more common to have a match where the gens get done extremely quickly than it is to have one where your whole team is slugged at 5 gens. Also in that case survivors are likely to blame each other as well as the killer so the blame gets shared out a bit more. It doesn't feel like a particularly interesting or interactive match in either case though.
4K Slug definitely feels worse. Just a waste of time for the survivors and even worse the killer is typically going out of their way to 4K slug for whatever reason.
At least with killer you can still get a decent amount of points when being genrushed.
-
No thanks, if rather not have a killer do some emote dance over my slugged body for 4 mins.
-
Funny how complaints about slugging at 5 gens are far and few between yet there’s always a daily thread complaining about genrush...
-
Not sure how they can be compared. It doesn’t take much to down someone, hook them, proxy camp them then down again for the Mori.
Removing one survivor early on is enough to screw over the entire team.
While I have to complete X No. of gens, still be alive, have X amount of survivors dead & find the hatch to even use my key.
-
You are the reason why Pyramid Head can’t see cages aura
-
Boring to face him. I wouldn’t necessarily say he’s OP.
Every Oni just goes for the snowball with their power with infectious fright.
-
1) Pick 3 gens that are close to each other
2) Push any survivors away from these gens
3) Trap the loops within close proximity to the 3 gens.
4) Play as normal, but push survivors away from the 3 gen you picked out unless they are the only 3 remaining, then you can chase and get survivors trapped.
People probably had success playing him differently and frankly forcing a 3 gen is kinda boring but that’s the only way I found to play him effectively.
-
should be 5 mins max for a DC. Frankly 5 mins is enough to atone for your sin & this isn’t a competitive game so not sure why they are so serious on long bans for DC.
I guess they seem to forget this game still has Lag Switchers, VPN Killers, game breaking glitches, modders etc.

I believe most of the frustration stems from the fact that survivors seem imune to mistakes.
They aren't punished nearly as harsh as killers. And yeah, it's the nature of the game, but losing the entire game cause 1 bad chase is extremely frustrating, specially when survivors can just "second chance" out their mistakes.
Well what do you expect, in a 1v4 game the killers mistakes should be 4x more detrimental, it’s balance.
-
First it was constant threads about otz & the 17s gen and now it’s endless threads about 4 gens in 3 mins when quite clearly he played poorly.
Give it a rest guys....
-
Deliverance should allow you to do that. at the very least
-
They probably main another killer and then thought they’d give Spirit a try.
Honestly a couple of hours of playing her and you’ll pretty much get 3-4k’s every game.
-
So this early game phase, will it stall hook states then? Or can a survivor get tunnelled out of early game so that it’s a guaranteed win for the killer?
Also what about killers that are already strong and regularly 3-4K every match against solos? Will this early game phase just guarantee the 4K?
I really wish the devs will release some sort of information about it so we get an idea of what’s going to change.
Right now I’m thinking it’s going to be a hard nerf against solo survivors.
-
Funny, if this was a glitch that impeded killers in any way there would be constant daily threads saying how the devs favour survivors so much & don’t care for killer bugs 🤷🏻♂️
-
Thing is, the killer could have got so much more points (and emblem points) chasing, downing and hooking other survivors rather than camping.
But you know, gotta secure that 1 kill for whatever reason and sacrifice BP’s and emblem points.
What doesn’t help in solo games is that other survivors don’t understand what to do when a killer camps. They just hopelessly crouch around the hook.
-
Maybe because it’s an ideal way to balance?
Imagine if surge could constantly be spammed, you’d get no gens done.
Or constant Trail of Torment just by kicking gens, effectively making stealth killers pointless.
Granted, some cool downs are a lot longer than they should be on some perks but that doesn’t mean cooldowns should just be deleted from the game.
-
Babysitter could be so much better if the no scratch mark effects lasted like 20s for the unhooked guy.
Not sure how to make Camaraderie any good other than full on rework.
Second Wind is meh. Too many conditions and I’m probably better off bringing a syringe to mimic it’s effects.
-
I’d rather the hatch be totally RNG so it can be fair to both sides.
Now 3 man escapes could be a slightly more common sight if they can manipulate the location of hatch with an offering.
-
Ironically 4 stacks is better than 5 stacks...
-
What killer was you playing? Your perks? How long the chase lasted?
We need more info to get the reason why you had no pressure.
-
Don’t use Moris until they are balanced, problem solved!
-
I feel like his ability to mindgame with his M2 is all he has. I too think it’s unfair but if you take that from him then there’s not much else going for him tbh.
Outside of animation locks his ranged ability is rather useless.
-
Pyramid Head: As long as you hold M2 it’s one big one sided mindgame against the other survivor. Throw pallet? Get hit Don’t throw pallet? Still get hit.
Spirit: Using her power is again a one sided mindgame against the survivor. Especially if they are injured then they have no idea where you are yet you can determine their rough (or even exact) location. By the time you hear her footsteps you’re pretty much dead.
Deathslinger: Being chased by him is one big mindgame thanks to quick scoping. Luckily he’s the most counterable by just pre-throwing pallets.
-
If you want to give Survivors depression go for Jump rope + Swing chains, Thanatophobia, Sloppy Butcher, Pop, BBQ.
Could even swap in Dying Light in there somewhere.
-
Not sure why hits weren’t server sided to begin with when dedicated servers first released.
-
Put on Stridor, and play for a few hours so you get used to her then you’ll be wiping out most survivors.
Her nerf didn’t do much. It was more like an add on nerf (rightly) while slightly nerfing her base kit (who even relies on collision while phasing lol?)
She still has some extremely powerful addons compared to most killers.
-
Yup, being chased by a decent slinger is like one big one sided mindgame. All you can do is pre-throw pallets and hope that the loop isn’t small enough for him to pull you around with his gun.
-
And this is why people tend to Alt + F4 at loading screen when a secret offering is seen.
-
Literally the only counter is no mither + Iron will, and why would you run that just to only get Spirit 1 out of 5 games?
-
What’s the issue with the last survivor escaping? Does it hurt your ego or something?
3k is as good as a 4K in terms of winning, you miss out on what, 1.5k points?
To escape as last survivor with exit gates you either need Hawkins or good RNG on your side, otherwise it’s pretty much in the killers favour.

That being said healing speed might need to be looked at next patch cause you can heal VERY fast
No, it’s not too fast. In fact the longer healing times has just encouraged rushing gens while injured.
If you have problems with survivors healing “too fast” then you have perks like Sloppy Butcher & Coulrophobia to deal with it.
-
Babysitter: No scratch marks & blood pools for unhooked survivor for 10/15/20s.
-
At least this perk will stop Blendettes & Meg Heads from wasting pallets!
-
Pretty much the reason I run DS & BT. Every time I run a different build I end up getting camped, tunnelled or I feel helpless against my teammate getting camped.
If you find camping the hooked survivor fun than that’s fine by me.
If you camp and tunnel not caring for others fun than don’t complain about the bully SWF’s that you come across, ThEy ArE jUsT hAvInG fUn, right?
-
Personally I’d make it where groans are non-directional while phasing as Spirit.
-
Use blood warden or just chase them out
-
Pyramid Head: Seal of Metatron; A joke of an add on. Very situational just to get an aura read of tormented survivors. His obsidian goblet has more use than this.
Demogorgon: Leprose Lichen; Again a situational aura read of injured survivors. Also you are locked in position traversing the upside down so it’s not very useful.
Deathslinger: Hellshire iron; Aura read within your TR is useless, as you want to make his TR as small as possible. On top of the fact that you are reeling a survivor in so you’ll be locked into position.
Oni: Iri family crest; Infectious fright already does a better job, 12m is too small to get any use out of it.
-
Pyramid Head
-
So what happens if you slow down gens? Via 2nd objective or “early game slowdown”?
Yes, it might make killers like Wraith & Ghostface more playable but what about killers that can pretty much guarantee a 4K in the right hands? Spirit, Billy, Nurse, Oni?
On top of that you have horrid MM where I get paired up with survivors who barely have 100h in this game...
-
Red Paint brush + Swing chains. Dying Light, Sloppy Butcher and thanatophobia. AKA the ultimate slowdown build. That Constant 8% penalty combined with Thana and Dying light painfully add up.
-
I wish. If they don’t want to add it I’d welcome a paragraph with Ripley as the survivor.
-
Unfortunately this is why BT exists & why DS was reworked to somewhat counter tunnelling.
I hate running the same perks every game but I have to because I’d rather not be tunnelled out of the match in less than 2 mins.
More and more killers seem to just proxy camp hooks nowadays, meaning if I want to get safe saves BT is a must.
