Double pallets mean a easier game for the killer, it basically means the map has the MINIMUM amount of pallets possible.
-
I’m happy Bubba got a buff but maybe he’s a bit overtuned.
-
DS is fine.
Unbreakable + DS: It’s obvious you really want that survivor for some reason so why not just proxy camp them while they are slugged? Or just eat the stun.
Locker DS: Again, you obviously really want that survivor for some reason. Just wait outside the locker or eat the stun, not that hard.
Baiting grabs with DS: You have the option to lunge instead of grab. Again eating the stun is probably the wisest thing to do.
-
I’ve always considered the perk useless anyway. Most of the time you get saved before you reach 2nd hook state and in solos they have no way of telling if you have Deliverance or not.
It has some value in endgame but that’s if you managed to not get hooked before 5 gens are done.
-

Only if suiciding while slugged keeps the hatch locked for the time remaining on your bleed out.
Why? Killers aren’t entitled to a 4K even if 3 survivors are dead, same applies to survivors if they complete all gens, they aren’t exactly entitled to escape. The game is never over for both sides.
-
Even with the upcoming changes the hits will still be client side for the killer rather than being server side. It only singles out killers with horrible connection.
So we’ll never know if the huntress is throwing logs or if it’s actually latency causing the problem.
-
Please add a give up option if you have been slugged for 30s.
It’s honestly so boring waiting on the ground for the killer to find an immersed Claudette in the corner of the map. And for the sake of what?? 1k extra BP?
-
it’s a fair mechanic. Besides, you can just slug if you really want 4 kills.
-
Wake Up! used to be meta when it was glitched to increase all action speed by 15%.....
Otherwise it’s a pretty situational perk. For an endgame perk I’d expect it to be at least somewhat powerful, even No one left behind is a solid perk with the only downside being that you have to open the exit gates and start the timer, but that 50% unhooking speed is pretty good and noticeable.
-
Being a guy based around the theme of gambling there’s plenty of Vegas inspired clothing he could’ve had, magician outfit, Elvis jumpsuit etc etc.
I am a bit disappointed with his time skin
-
Literally the only point of this thread is to trigger survivor mains. What has this forum come to?
-
A somewhat underrated perk. When someone has been slugged but the killer is still nearby it feel good to insta heal them.
Even better if they have Soul Guard then you can make more daring saves & they can take the hit for you, especially powerful in endgame.
-
What difference is survivor perk usage statistics being made public going to make anyway?? It’ll only show you what you know already, DS, BT, DH, etc...
Again perks being nerfed because of high usage rate is not how the devs roll, if anything the statistics being made public is only going to cause endless threads of “Nerf BT/DS/DH”
-
So what if I try that, I could get myself 1500 BP’s in the survival category (Which btw is the hardest category to get points in).
-
I see why killers are complaining, they can’t switch to their precious sweaty Spirit build when they assume it’s an SWF, or when they see a blendette, bunny Feng, Pink Nea etc.
Killers can still change their loadout when they pick a killer, so survivors should be able to as well. Also survivor is literally just skins so it’s pointless locking them out.
If you want to go down the route of locking out survivors from picking perks, items and offerings in lobby, then the same should apply to killers. But don’t blame anyone when you can’t pick your Franklin’s against a toolbox team.
-
What else are survivors supposed to do??? They are against the clock, especially against killers that have high pressure.
I don’t see any threads complaining about killers winning with 4K slug at 5 gens, survivors fault, right?
Killers are totally not to blame when they get genrushed....
-
Killers can still change perks, add ons and offerings, so why shouldn’t survivors??
This thread alone just shows how much killer bias there is in these forums.

Your assumption is wrong, OP stated that he searched the map as well. Blaming the OP for the situation is really uncalled for.
He stated he looked only a couple of times. If you have trouble locating survivors there’s plenty of tracking perks to use.
Killers objective is to kill & protect gens
Survivors objective is to survive & do gens
When the killer chooses to protect gens & survivors choose to survive it makes a stalemate. Killers fear that the gens will get done if they leave the 3 gen & survivors know they’ll probably get killed if they attempt to complete a gen that’s being camped.
What are survivors supposed to do in a 3 gen situation exactly? Jump into the killers arms?
-
I assume you are literally just sitting by the 3 gens? Why not go out and find the survivors, commit to a chase and down them?
You are just as bad as the survivors for holding the game hostage if that’s the case.
-
Huntress will probably get the next add on pass. She’s the only killer left that doesn’t follow the 2 Ultra rares, 4 very rares etc. Format that other killers have.

No again it was not nerfed because it was overused.
It was used in about 80% of high ranked games so the devs took a closer look at the perk.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/117488/designer-notes-doctor-gatekeeper-hex-ruin
Just read the designer notes there they talk about the reasons for the nerf.
Exactly, but killer mains will just claim that they are the victims & the devs favour survivors, despite the countless survivor nerfs.
They literally only read the first sentence: “Hex: Ruin is used in over 80% of all games in the red ranks” and claiming it was nerfed because it was OvErUsEd while missing out the 3 points that the devs made on why it was changed.
-
Don’t worry bring a BNP, oh wait that was nerfed.
Could bring a syringe to help out a teammate from being killed or prolong your chase? Nope that was nerfed too
Or just bring a key, but you best be playing immersed all game as if the killer sees your key you’ll pretty much get tunnelled.

You know what else isn't fun or fair to new players? Going against red rank SWF with their rank 20 teammate while being a new killer. Thats chill tho right?
MM is not related to ruin rework so not sure why you brought that up
-
Ruin wasn’t nerfed because of high usage rate. The high usage rate gave the devs a reason to LOOK into it not nerf it.
If you cared to read the whole dev post dedicated to the ruin rework you’ll see the reasons why.
1) Not very friendly to new players
2)Inconsistent skill checks
3) Gave free pressure on survivors with the killer doing absolutely nothing
Clearly you and many others are still salty about the ruin rework.
-
So much for this anti cheat, it’s a joke. (I was actually accidentally perma banned by it once!!)
-
Sony & Microsoft are probably more concerned about lost profits with transferred DLC & Auric cells.
TBH I wouldn’t mind if the DLC didn’t transfer but my progress did.
-
I think it would be much better if it’s more like this:
After a dull totem has been cleansed, for 45s, all survivors within 24m radius of the cleansed totem receive the oblivious status effect.
-
Lol you’ll get no sympathy here, too many salty killer mains who can’t handle SWF
-
Yes but why should Spirit know exactly where I am yet I have to predict? That already puts me in a losing situation.
-
Maybe passives should be a 5th perk slot for Survivors & Killer’s. But it’s locked to the weakest teachable that they have.
Claudette: Empathy
Dwight: Bond
Jake: Calm Spirit
Meg: Quick & Quiet
Hillbilly: Lightborn
Wraith: Bloodhound
Trapper: Unnerving Presence
Nurse: Stridor
Would encourage some interesting builds but may be too powerful to implement idk
-
Made me chuckle the other day where the clown tunnelled a guy off the hook. Downed him in a dead zone and then threw all his bottles in the surrounding area so that even with DS the survivor couldn’t escape.
-
Think about it from (Solo) survivors perspective. They are against the clock to get the gens done before the killer sacrifices someone.
Now throw in killers that have huge pressure (Freddy, Billy, Nurse, Spirit, Oni) and then it’s literally do the gens or gg.
-
The only thing I don’t like is the Crate of gears & Tampered timer combo. If RNG isn’t in your favour then you will die to the trap. It feels sorta crappy to die to RNG....
-
He might have poor map pressure but he can end chases very fast in the right hands. I’m pretty sure any buff would make him borderline OP.
Take away his ability to quick scope & trade it for some decent buffs.

Deep wound is a joke to me, that'd be better for a yellow or maybe green add-on but not red.
Yeah I know, I’m just a little biased because I hate Iri heads
-
Even better idea:
- Reduces Hatchet carrying capacity by 4. (Stackable)
- Inflicts deep would state on the victim
-
Wraith backstory Sucks. He killed people unknowingly and he killed his boss, who ultimately deserved it. Suddenly the Entity sees potential in Wraith after one intentional kill??
-
Interesting concept for a perk, it’s like a godly version of Sole Survivor.
-
The only issue I have with him is Quickscoping. It gives you pretty much no time at all to react so being caught out in the open is a big no no.
Also pre-throw pallets, especially when you are injured.
-
Fun-factor wise I like the addon that make Survivors scream when you blink near them. Don’t know why but it’s humourous.
Honourable mention would be the addon that turns her into a 115% killer for 60s. It confuses the hell out of some survivors
-
Legendary Skins need to change the Name, Voice, Survivor Thumbnail to be somewhat worth it. Different animations for running/walking/crouching would be a bonus.
Using Lisa Garland as an example it’s literally just a skin & new lobby animation. Hopefully they’ll update her Legendary Skin soon.
-
You still got 25k points. I’d consider that a win
-
Spirit is the only killer that doesn’t get punished for misplays with her power. She needs a post-phase fatigue after lunging.
-
Billy & Bubba: Have post-chainsaw cool down & are punished for hitting objects with longer CD.
Huntress: Slowdown when winding up & throwing. Has to reload hatchets from lockers
Deathslinger: Has movement penalty after missing a shot & when reloading.
Nurse: Has post-blink fatigue & a longer fatigue when missing.
Every killer has a slight downside to their power. Spirit has no downside. She has a generous lunge post phase & even if she misses the survivor will likely be out of position anyway so Spirit can finish them off with 110% speed.
Post-phase fatigue would easily make Spirit balanced.
-
I’d rather have Spirit nerfed than Billy. But Devs know best.
-
Lots of counters to the Second chance perks.
Unbreakable: Don’t slug, in case of DS just patrol the area with Deerstalker & wait for them to get up. It’s also a one time use.
DS: Slug them until timer ends. Go after someone else. Wait outside locker if they hop into one. Lunge at them if they work on a gen in your face. Pyramid head cages. Use Huntress Lullaby perk which can make them miss the skill check. Also one time use.
BT: Stealth killers which hide TR. Perks that hide TR, Freddy, Pyramid Head cages.
Exhaustion perks: Mindbreaker & Bloodecho. Some killers have add ons that add exhaustion

Again, STOP comparing OTZ to an average palyer, if every killer in the game plays it like Otz, barely no survivor would have a single chance. It's like balancing LoL around Faker, or Counter Strike around Coldzera.
There’s still no issue with it...3 BNP’s should complete a gen rather quickly.
Seeing as they are one time use it’s not like other gens can be completed in 17s.
Also how often do you see 3-4 BNP’s stacked???
-
Wraith already has balanced add ons. Huntress however is outdated and will hopefully get an add on pass

Yes, because a perk that causes exhaustion for 3 seconds, while working on a generator under 50%, or playing one of three killers with specific add ons is the counter to an overpowered meta perk.
You're either a terrible survivor, a troll, or completely survivor biased. Maybe all three. If mindbreaker actually had value, like exhausted for 30 seconds, I would gladly run it. When I play clown, pig, or huntress, I run the exhaustion addons.
Not sure how I’m a “terrible survivor, a troll or completely survivor biased” for suggesting some remedies.
If you don’t want to use mindbreaker how about Blood Echo then?
-
When Doc was reworked I thought the devs were going to make him less annoying to go against....
But playing as him is so much better. Very user friendly as well as you don’t have to keep switching between treatment mode & the stick.
Not so sure about Static blast. You don’t get enough warning to properly react to the sound que & without Quick & Quiet jumping into a locker reveals your position anyway.
