Jonah's one is much better than his last tech outfit, just not a fan of the head piece, his other head pieces can fit nicely though. Solid outfit for him.
-
Survivor Invocation: Blessed fortune - Blesses all remaining totems with all current boon effects after completing a channel in the basement, become 5% hindered for the rest of the game.
Killer Invocation: Deal with the Devil - Hooking a survivor in the basement activates this perk, Hides your red stain and removes your terror radius for the rest of the game. Lose all aura reading capabilities for the rest of the game.
-
Challenges also don't help with this, challenges like certain glyphs, memory shards etc. I have had a few matches where people literally threw the game because of them.
-
Well i'll definitely play him, as an avid user of Dredge and Artist, this killer is right up my alley. I'd place him low A / high B, basekit is good and teleport is instant, potential to shoot projectile through holes and gaps and hit people through walls. Addons let him down, but aura and exposed perks elevate his kit.
-
Exit gates are miles apart so that's a free escape on a killer that's not billy. Pallets are unsafe, the double pallet is not much of an issue if you break one, gen layout is ok.
-
By the looks of it, his projectile aiming looks a lot like clown's bottle's arc, so he should definitely be playable, as for the bounces and ricochet's probably more to do with what it actually collides with, i've seen some video's where the projectile just explodes on contact with certain tree's/objects and other video's where there's a very small wall bounce, it shouldn't be too much of an issue as the aoe explosion is quite generous. I also saw some holes and gaps you can shoot the projectile into, so that's also a part of his learning curve, But yeah very playable compared to DeathSlinger, Huntress, Trickster, Singularity which is the main thing.
-
Still debating if Death Slinger's skin is edging on the verge of P2W with the weapon skin compared to his others, other than that it seems like a good collaboration, hopefully the Slipknot gifts us a lot of masks for killer's.
-
That bounce strength one i'm not sure if it's a hinderance or a benefit yet, the bounce seems random on some collisions. I'd probably run his hinder addon that adds 5 seconds and the vanishing box one or the 50% quicker recovery speed after teleport one. The rest is all status or very situational.
-
That dredge skin :O best one of the bunch. I do question if death slinger's iron maiden skin has a big advantage over his other skins.
The new Artist and Gabriel skins are good too. Goodbye wallet.
-
I imagine it will get some cool skins down the road, i was the same with Dredge's orginal design but his skins more than made up for it.
-
Kinda reminds me of that dude from the Goonies.
-
I'm honestly surprised you rate Wesker so high, most i've versed are hardcore tunnelers at 5 gens.

It's not just about solo survivors, even high MMR 4-man SWF has a 48% escape rate. The whole survivor role needs a slight buff. They can start small, like -10 seconds on gen. Or fixing vaults so the killer can't hit you when you're literally on the other side and running.
80 seconds was the standard time for a gen before they increased it to 90 seconds, it was problematic before so i don't see them changing it back.
-
With clown's pinkie finger addon they could just make it like huntress iri where the maximum is just 1 bottle regardless of other addons.
-
I mean how would you buff survivor's other than perks and items? You already have built-in UI for every action for you and teammates, Built-in endurance and sprint after unhooks and anti-face camp mechanic which could arguably be improved. These are killer base kit adjustments and changes, nothing super drastic other than Huntress extra 2 hatchets', which should be looking at locker placements instead of more hatchets' in my opinion.
-
I tend to hang on to them for the perks that i didn't buy from purchasing a character i don't like or a character that is too demanding power wise for console. Last 2 year's or so they've had like a 2 week shrine event where it refreshes everyday, so i have majority of perks from that. Though if a real useless perk pops up in the shrine i still wont buy it, because it will clog up the bloodweb of a future character.
Don't think i've ever bought a skin with shards, and only a couple of characters. Wish they'd add a new feature to purchase certain addons with shards or even the 100% BP offerings.
-
Distortion / Overcome / Inner Strength / Plot Twist - Solo queue ofc, works for me. I like that safety net of a heal available and aura denial. Overcome because it's just something i can slap on and forget about but also being useful at that first injury for distance. Funnily enough overcome and plot twist has saved me quite a few times paired together.
-
Illusion perks for both sides.
Survivor
Illusion: Double act - Once escaped from a chase, this perk activates for the next 30 seconds, upon your next fast vault in the killer's presence ,a clone of you will rush to the killer and upon contact, blind them for 1/2/3 seconds. On a successful blind, goes on cooldown for 90 seconds.
Illusion: Vanishing act - While croutching in the killer's Terror radius while injured, Press E to place a crouched injured clone of you in front of you, the clone repeats your grunts of pain while silencing yours while it's active, lasts 60 seconds, if the clone is hit by the killer, reveals your aura for 2 seconds.
Killer
Illusion: One too Many - Spawn in randomly on the map an Illusion generator that's highlighted white for the killer, survivors can interact with this generator as normal, upon completion the generator vanishes and no progress is made towards the number of generators required for exit gates. Hitting 4 great skill checks in a row, reveals the illusion to that survior and is no longer interactable for that specific survivor. If the illusion is revealed or completed, the killer receives killer instinct for 6 seconds from survivors leaving the illusion generator.
Illusion: Mind Shatter - Upon hooking a survivor, their anguished scream spawns in a random effect from 4 options for the other survivors; 8 tokens, requires a different survivor each hook to activate.
Total darkness - Basically Nightfall for 1 minute
Bird's eye View - Crows swarm them and reveals aura until dispelled.
Static shock - One map wide Static blast shock.
Chains - One map wide chain hunt for 20 seconds.
Idea behind that is the entity providing tools from other killer's to help your goals.
-
For me personally she's just another character to appeal to anime weebs, somewhat over-sexualised with that walk animation, some outfits too. Not to mention boring lore and a killer kit design that's unimaginative to play as and against and not worth interacting with as a survivor for little to no benefit for doing so. Of course the Prior chess merchant tactic doesn't help her reputation, that's beyond repair regardless of what they do to her in the future.
-
As long as they don't nerf DMS again i'd be fine with it, myself i prefer hooking obsessions with friends till the end as an addtional tool for blocking a gen for full duration with DMS and FTTE vs DMS and Grim Embrace, aura read is nice too.
-
So they've technically limited a lot of perks this way, Dragon's grip, Trail of Torment, No Where To Hide, Call of Brine , Overcharge, Oppression.
Would be interesting to see where Surge comes into this, as you don't have much control over which gens get hit, SWF survivors could intentially go down near a specific generator from the start, allowing them free reign to repair it without fear of regression later on. Like a reverse 3 - gen.
-
I find it more valuable on my Artist than BBQ, sure it's only 1 aura read but 10/12 seconds if run with LP is enough time to aim a follow up bird once swarmed, allowing for easier snipes vs BBQ's 5-7 seconds. Also added benefit that the scream side of the perk works with Dead Man's Switch which is an awesome perk on Artist. Exposed effect is the cherry on top if obsession is real close or literally stupid, i've gotten value out of the exposed effect like 3-4 times that way.
-
Sometimes miss some myself when i'm looking away at something else going on in the background in game and out. Also miss some from the occasional sneeze or urge to scratch an itch. XD
-
I hope so, i missed out on it too.
-
I do miss hex totem's fall from grace, that nowadays there's not much point running them. Same boat as boons i guess.
-
I don't even use the perk for the exposed effect on my Artist tbh, the 10/12 second aura is more valuable to me and helps with snipe follow-ups vs bbq's 5/7 seconds. Also the added synergy with DMS if i hook the obsession and the obession status switches to some random on a gen. If i manage to smack a nearby exposed obsession, that's just the cherry on top. 3 in 1 perk essentially.
-
Blight - Just dislike that his kit does so much, when he's already super oppressive compared to everyone else, His addons, the mobility, the utility, number of power tokens etc, Not to mention some of the techs. Come his update i wouldn't mind reducing his power tokens to 4, along with his addon adjustment's.
Wesker - Main issue with him is sometimes you'll get a hit that looks super dodgy on your screen, Yes. I acknowledge that it takes a lot of skill to pull off but it isn't an intended part of his power. Survivors should know what the power can and can't do and these hugtechs / slide techs make that very difficult.
Pig - Not the actual killer herself, just on the RNG aspect of her traps, which tbh they should just redesign that part of her power to be more reliable to her and less of a RNG for the survivor.
-
Jeepers Creepers could be fun.
-
You just need to get the blind afaik, not the save. Can do it while they're in the hooking animation too, can also take flashbang to help out and increase your odds.
-
Its not on the roadmap and tbh it's a perfectly fine perk.
-
If they start it midchase i tend to let them, depends how far the game has progressed.
-
I liked the concept of Twins, hopefully they'd make it more tag team based rather than 90% Victor with the power rework.

I can confirm that Trickster is currently being monitored, and we will communicate if there will be any changes.
With the Twins update, is it still planned for a partial rework or a complete overhaul? Only asking from the amount of times it's been pushed back over the years.
-
Doesn't help that there's a sole survivor achievement i believe, something like repair the last gen by yourself before hatch forces endgame with sole survivor perk and escape.
-
Flashbang if you aren't getting the flashlight timings down. Might be easier with background player too.

No, they don't.
Blight's hug-tech is confirmed to being bug but Chucky and Wesker never called bug.
I don't agree sorry, not when they can do stuff like this.

If they address Hugtech while looking at Blight, then they need to do so for Wesker too.
-
Kinda hoping Dredge's Christmas skin pops back up in the store, was on holiday during the tome challenges.

The idea is to use it with Furtive Chase or Nemesis.
If you hook Obsession with FC, you get Undetectable + Haste and the scream tells you where to go to find the new Obsession.
If you hook Obsession with Nemesis, new Obsession becomes Oblivious and you get a few seconds of Aura reading.
If you lose the Obsession and end up hooking a non Obsession instead, Friends tells you where to find the Obsession.
This means the Killer is incentivized to keep going after the Obsession so that they can jumpstart their next chase.
@Krazzik said:
It's a bit weird because I guess the idea is you hook a non-obsession, then get aura reading and exposed on the obsession so you can down and hook them quicker. But then the obsession changes and screams but you DON'T wanna go after the new obsession because you then won't get the aura-reading and exposed anymore, which is the much stronger part.
You kinda wanna alternate between going after non-obsessions and then the obsession, but that makes the scream part of it pointless.
I've had much success running it on my Artists' build with DMS, Granted not much use out of the exposed effect, but the lengthy aura reading and the scream side of it potentially a blocking gen with DMS if they happen to be on it. I find it worth it for the aura read alone tbh, way better than Gearhead / BBQ.
-
Fine with it coming back to 5 seconds, but needs to be deactived when touching an objective or totem and disabled at 5 gens completed. And perhaps not work with Off The Record if you've had it more than 20 seconds.
-
Distortion counters the Aura reveal side of it. The scream will only pinpoint your location, so move to a locker and wait it out or hide some distance away from where you screamed.
-
Could maybe also try Flashbangs, given its recent buffs. My go to for blind challenges as a console user.
-
Artist main here. As with any killer, practice and patience is key.
Carrion and Tar will help you out as a beginner, you'd still only want to use one crow to swarm, otherwise you're wasting her power potentially, Once swarmed aim 2 or 3 birds judging on distance and the survivor's movement, predict.
Same with Gens, fire one crow to swarm, if someone get's swarmed that allows you enough time to potentially follow up with a snipe.
Aura perks are your friend, you do not need chase or utility perks. Use Gen regression, Gen blocking perks or Aura perks. Example build: BBQ / Dead man's Switch / Pain Resonance / Lethal Pursuer. Just an example build but pick perks that benefit her.
Once you get more comfortable with shots, Severed Hands is her best addon and allows you to do stuff like this;
15 seconds · Clipped by CrowEffect · Original video "Dead by daylight - Artist gameplay Part 8 - Swf edition" by CrowEffect11 seconds · Clipped by CrowEffect · Original video "Dead by daylight - Artist shots / snipes" by CrowEffectRegarding loops you can place a crow to go through windows or over pallets if they stay in the loop or you force them to from zoning. Doesn't have to be over pallets or windows, but that's for direct dire crows within 8m. Can still swarm them through objects and injure them with a follow up if need be.
Definitely not a weak killer.
-
I think people are overlooking Friend's till the end as just an exposed perk, it's more than that and can fit into a lot of builds. Myself i will use it for my Artist, not for the exposed effect, mainly for the aura reveals and the chance of interacting with Dead man's switch upon hooking obsession. Exposed effect is just a cherry on top if obsession is close.
His other two perks are too niche for me.
-
I find it useful on my Artist, be chasing someone, smack them and then harass other's revealed by the perk while continuing the chase. Gearhead lasts 30 seconds after you hit someone too, so you'll more than likely always get value out of it if someone gets a gen skillcheck during that time. Like other's have said sometimes you'll not notice an aura because it blends into the gen aura colour but having no cooldown and being easily activated outweighs that con. Can be a good alternative to BBQ for information if you're finding a lot of people entering lockers out of habit upon hooking.
Perhaps they could add a noise to the perk when an aura is revealed, like how distortion tells you when your aura is hidden.

Nobody that plays killer seriously will use friend till end over regressions and gen-blocking perks. I just want a viable exposed perk that is as good as regression and gen-blocking. the perk design has potencial but expose number are too bad.
The other two perks are so far from good numbers that they're useless. hex perk and that battery excluded perk are dead perks on arrival.
I would look at it this way, it's a perk that can do a multitude of thing's;
- It's a 10 second aura read on the obsession when hooking non obsessions, so that's information of where to go or to plan your next move.
- It's a perk that can change your obsession to someone else and make them scream when hooking the obsession, handy if you have perks like PWYF, Remember me or DMS for the scream interrupt.
- 20 seconds of the expose effect, sometimes you'll get use out of it on altruistic teams, but mainly on a mobile killer if obsession is a fair distance away.
It's a perk that can fit into a lot of builds and playstyles, that's the way i see it. Whereas the other two perks are more restricted in terms of what they can do or very niche at best.
-
It's a good addition, though i doubt he'll play very well for us console users, but will get him regardless for perks. Friends till the end specifically as it combo's really well with a lot of perks, Myself i'll use it for my Artist to replace BBQ. Lengthy aura read and if hooking obsession it will proc DMS if obsession switches to someone on a gen, 20 sec exposed for close encounters. Essentially it's 3 perks in 1.
-
I quite like using it on Dredge with DMS in the loadout also, the ability to teleport to a locker in the middle of the map and block a couple of gens after a hook is immensely valuable and is a strat that can't be countered like how PR can. But yeah it has two uses for me, the above strat and finding people in a pinch when aura reads are not available. You just gotta be mindful with it and plan it out accordingly so you don't use it during Nightfall.
-
For me it's the sheer difference of how a killer's power can fuction on PC/M+K in comparison to a console user's controller.
A good majority of the killer roster is unfriendly to console's in regards to power and what you can achieve vs PC.
- Hag - Teleport hits
- Blight - Rush turning, various techs
- Nurse - Teleports
- Chuck - Slice & Dice turns, Techs
- Wesker - Dashes and Tech.
- Oni - Dashes and flicks
- Singularity - Pod cams
- Hillbilly - Flicks
- Nem - Whip drags
- Xeno - Tail drags
- PinHead - Chains
- Huntress - Accuracy sensitivity
- Deathslinger - Accuracy sensitivity
That's 13 killer's out of 34.
I think in future they need to refine future killer power's and make it more usuable like the 21 other killer's.
-
I've always liked Hysteria, Pop , Gearhead, Forced Hesitation.
I've tried to use Machine Learning on her with her Iri gen puke addon but get no value most of the time.
