On all four people? I've never seen it.
It only takes 2 people with it to be absolute misery

They need to revert Franklins, sloppy butcher, and the mangles and hemorrhage status effects to how they were.

It should be a new perk then

I don't think so but maybe ? It would need some time in the live servers to really know.
Like you said, thsese killers don't need help, i think this perk would be great on semi stealth killer that used monitor previously or just people wanting to mess around being sneaky sneaky (like me, i want to use it on my Alien to have a 12m TR, and i can lower further to 9 with monitor, i don't care about the motion trackers, it is bound to be hilarous).
Imagine not having a turret nearby while having a Xenomorph with a permanent 9m TR until it chases someone. And that's one niche exemple, you can use it on Hag, on Pig, on Pyramid head or Nemesis to reduce pre-running.
With Pyramid you can have Monitor, Furtive and the bad add on that lowers your TR per survivor tormented. -50%, -25% and - flat 8m. Not optimal, but bound to be funny.
The big problem with the perk is that it is slow, five obsession hooks is eeeeeeh. But once it's in place, it's really great. If it survives the ptb, which is almost impossible, it could, maybe, be lowered to either :
- 4 fresh hooks, kinda removing the obsession theme around the perk ...
Or
- 4 obsession hooks which means the perk would get stronger faster (-12.5% per hook instead of 10) and peak at 4 instead of 5
Really hope they keep it somewhere, either in furtive or in another perk, this could be really fun to be sneaky consistently.
Undetectable is great, but it has a short timer and it's activation is mostly obvious (kick a gen, hook the obsession, hit the obsession etc. etc.).
This would give you decent stealth everytime, and it's only 1/4 of your build. I would really like to run it on some killers. The only other perk that gives you constant stealth is Monitor. Everything else can be dispelled, has a timer or other conditions.

So glad they changed furtive chase because it synergized too well with getting 5% haste the goes away when sneezing.
Also glad they made it so survivors can just get off the hook fully healed and unhook themselves in the basement fully healed. Very good.

What is genrushig though? Is it toxic to just do gens? Does everyone in your lobbies have commodious toolboxes and gen perks or are you just giving them 90 free second to do the gens? Like what do you want the survivors to do? Politely wait for your chase to finish before working on a gen?
30 second gen build.

so higher mmr is gonna be top tier killers, its been years where i've hoped they would make all killers around A tier and nobody would be in S tier but this is actually never happening they just refuse.
I can't play survivor anymore cause its blight every match and it gets stale real fast, well now it's krasue half of the time which is even a worse experience.
Nuking nurse and blight or other top tier killers wouldn't make the bottom tier killers any stronger r

Anti-camp mechanic, nerfing every best killer gen regression perks on DnD chapter patch, 70sec hook states, nerfing Stbfl despite it needing small tweaks, adding debatebly broken survivor perks (vigil, conviction, hyperfocus 1234 stake out combo, resurgence, botany knowledge, shoulder the burden being the best examples), adding anti-3 gen mechanic just becouse of OG SM and Eruption (which that one i can get behind), nerfing Mangled for no reason and I am sure i am missing something.
And to top it all of, now more pallets spawn in more realms. I mean have you played new Blood Lodge? I did yesterday. That map is so cooked for killer I don't remember the last time they added double Crane into one map with this many fillars that AREN'T weak like some like to say.
As for Blight thing. I mean he's dbd golden boy. Can do no wrong.

The intangibility led to a lot of (ironically) bodyblocking, running interference (on pallet drops / window vaults), etc which is clearly not the intended outcome.
Insert "that never happened" from people here

There are literally hundreds of videos and thousands of posts demonstrating, with concrete evidence, why the current iteration was not good.
This wall of evidence was so thick that BHVR made a statement a couple of days into the PTB indicating as much.
Objectively, it should not be going live until these issues which, again, have hundreds of captured examples, are addressed.
The foot stomping and whining from some users is simply wild, particularly when no effort is made to refute the very real evidence that exists.
The system is going to be tweaked and brought back in a better form that presumably addresses its current issues - there is no need to be upset or descend into histrionics.
Because survivor Mains don't understand or don't want to understand or don't care how badly this patch would have been for the game. It didn't effect hard tunneling and toxic slugging only, it made the entire purpose of killer to be a good toy for surivors. They didn't watch any of the games against bully squads or comp squads pushing the ptb to the limits. They don't care they just want gibs right now. Rather that getting a more balanced and fair update (which killers would like too)
And comparing this to fog vials is dumb because the bugs in the ptb with them got brought over to main.

Did they specify only extreme tunneling?
Realistically, you probably shouldn't be leaving Survivors on the ground for 90 seconds each. That's a minute and a half.
The problem. Was that was it was cumulative combined with basekit tenacity.

you don't destroy one side so the other has more fun.
But that's what they did. That's why no one wants to play Survivor and why the queue times are broken. That's what they should be trying to fix.
I'm not saying they did it intentionally, but they are GOING to have to take away from killers to balance the game. If you don't like that, then we know where you stand on balance
The ptb didn't take away from killers it gutted them. And people who can't see that have their heads firmly planted between their butt cheeks
-
Changes they should make:
30 seconds of God mode is too long, reduce it to 20 and 5 in end game.
Anti slug timer should reset each time a survivor goes down (keeps Oni and twins viable)
There should be no basekit tenacity and passive recovery
The anti tunnel penalties for last hooked should not apply if the survivor does a conspicuois action, Is healed, or takes a protection hit. (If you have time to heal or do the objective you aren't being tunneled. And if you take a protection hit you are weaponizing the system and deserve it)
Basekit pop should be total gen percentage not current percentage
The hook limit for the gen blocking should be 4 or 5 not 6
Most of the regression nerfs should be reverted or not as extreme (if you make pain res 12% remove the tokens) and the 8 regression limit should be removed
Make DMS a hybrid between its current time and the old effect (multi gen blocking

They were probably better then you the PTB doesn't have MMR. I had a few games my self where the killer 12 hooked the team at 3 gens. The team you have and who your vs could be any skill level. This is why the PTB shouldn't have been used to test the system AT ALL. It should have went live for testing give everyone in there own MMR brackets the chance to see how it plays out.
Right. Totally. Totally a killer player and not a salty survivor going. "Hello fellow killers". Power struggle and flip flop with the basekit anti slug was obnoxious as sin, and with breakdown and sabo builds survivors could create 3 minute dead zones where they just could infinitely get back up.

I understand your frustration, OP. However, there were some pretty serious problems with the systems as they were implemented on the PTB, and number changes alone were not going to be sufficient to fix those issues. Unlike the anti-3 gen system which is actually pretty good at only punishing 3 genning and not interfering with normal play, this was not the case with these systems at all.
The slugging changes weren't actually too far off from being okay (only thing that was needed imo was to remove basekit Tenacity and stop the 90 second timer from increasing in certain situations), but the tunneling changes had a lot more issues and the triggers for certain bonuses/penalties were far too broad and didn't take enough context into consideration. For example, there was no differentiation between a survivor actually getting hard tunneled vs. a survivor who got off the hook and immediately went back to a generator, or a hex totem, or some other important objective (ie. the system didn't take conspicuous actions into account, only whether they were last hooked or not, which is too broad). Unhook protection mechanics were still abusable even with no collision (you could still put yourself inside the other survivor basically), and in rare cases, there was actually an edge case which rewarded the killer for tunneling if two survivors were hooked in a short timeframe (ie. Survivor A is on hook, Survivor B gets hooked before Survivor A gets saved, killer goes back to hook and hard tunnels Survivor A, but it counts as a non-consecutive hook action and gave bonuses which shouldn't be awarded). There were some other issues as well. Smaller tweaks and number changes weren't going to be able to address these problems, and overall, it was not in a state that was ready to release to live servers.
I do want these problems with the game addressed, but it needs to be done the right way, and I would much rather delay the system's implementation and take more time to improve it rather than rushing something into the game that is flawed and incomplete.
How the heck is your milquetoast taken beingdownvoted

Except this isn't a "both sides" scenario. Only killers want the game to be unbalanced in their favor. Survivors are simply asking for a more fair game, which means a kill rate closer to 50% than what it is now.
The ptb changes were in no way fair. . I had 2 matches against bully squads and it felt like 2017 again
-
Additionally, it is not tunneling if a survivor weaponizes basekit bt or you accidentally run into a random Dwight.

https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3997856#Comment_3997856
Absolutely. I'm firmly in the camp that extreme tunneling and slugging need to go. They make Survivor (which can already be very unpleasant in solo queue) an even worse experience, but these changes were SO overboard that they just made Killer overall horrible. Simply shifting problems from one side to the other helps no one — at that point it's about vengence and not game balance.
Yeah I noticed.. its why I hate downvotes.

They only care about what is inconvenient for killers. It's so freaking hilarious survivors have been punished for how long? Slugging, humping, tunneling......perks that punish survivors for doing the objective. It is amazing they would say that considering the suffering and punishing of survivors always faced when playing the game.
You say that while talking about the ptb that did the same to killer. You don't want it fixed you just want to make killers miserable for a perceived slight

New patch announced:
Killers- “this looks real bad, these changes don’t target hard tunneling or toxic 5 gen slugging at all. They’re going to be abused just like all of the current anti tunnel/slug measures”
Survivors- “shut up baby and wait for the numbers”
Patch is revealed and released to PTB:
Killers- “these numbers are even worse than I thought. here are specific examples of how this will be abused, or just affect killers who play the game in a healthy way. Here are several ideas for systems that are both simpler and better at targeting the actual problem.”
Survivors- “shut up baby you just want to tunnel someone out every game for EZ wins”
Patch is killed:
Survivors: “KILLERS ARE THE WORST THEY JUST CRY ABOUT EVERYTHING! THERE WERE FLAWS WITH THIS BUT KILLERS SHOULD’VE JUST DEALT WITH THEM BECAUSE I ABSOLUTELY GET 4 MAN SLUGGED AND TUNNELED OUT EVERY SINGLE GAME!! I DON’T EVEN HAVE ANY SORT OF WAY TO COMBAT EITHER OF THESE STRATEGIES LIKE PERKS OR UNHOOK BUFFS OR ANYTHING!”
This wasn’t a “loud minority” of people crying to get their way. It was many people, some of whom coincidentally have a lot of experience with this game, providing feedback on several platforms. Which was the purpose. Killers provided specific valid concerns and proved the flaws with these changes in the ptb, this patch absolutely didn’t need to go live. Maybe the survivors should try providing actual solutions to the problems they think are in the game for the devs to listen to? As a mostly killer player I would say that strategy seems to have worked and is in general much more useful to a dev team than just yelling “killers are your favorites!”
They downvoting you cause you are on target LMAO

You sell hope to players who have been looking for hope only to pull it last second? I mean talk about shooting yourself in your own foot…and repeatedly. And even more so what message does that send to your community? I think it's becoming clear what that message is, and whether they like it or not that people will come to their own conclusion on how this action will be interpreted. How many more "We're sorrys" do they get? As an OG player, I've pretty much run out at this point. Maybe it's just my cynicism, but I mean they really need to pull something out of the hat, and quick as you said.

Please, explain how this is us vs them?
You know what was god awful and game breaking? Ever since the idea of "meta shakeup," there have been lots of nerfs to survivor gameplay and perks. But you know what's crazy? We adjusted, learned to play with what we had. You wanna know the outcome? We've learned to loop, be team players (for the most part), coordinate, unless you were new.
Then, it became more of a challenge for killers. They either got outplayed and resulted to tunneling and slugging, or learned to play and got better. You can't sit there an tell me you play survivor and say it's fun and fair.
The killers that never adjusted and learn to play kept on tunneling and slugging, making it their goto strategy. It's fine in certain games, but not all the time. You abuse the style, you ruin it for everyone.
Also, if you play the game as intended and not comp style, you'll soon realize how much you've given a buff as the killer than the survivors get theirs.
Wow, you are just making stuff up

this is something im concerned about and something that was gonna happen no matter what. but fortunately it is not going to be as common or as impactful as tunneling. I hate players that do stuff like this to take advantage of a system that is supposed to help them have fun. Tunneling was abused to the point of getting this update, why are they trying to ruin it by abusing its mechanics. Itll be annoying for a bit but adjustments will be made to make killer lives easier if needed
Gaslighting that survivors won't abuse the hell out of this to make bad plays, weaponize it, and generally be twats as if we didn't live through old ds where if the killer downed anyone they could get off with no issues, or MFT for extending chases forever, or even abusing the streetwise but with glee

and the most important part you can still tunnel it's just less of a free win, this whole text is a nothingburger
Except this doesn't just punish hard tunneling. It rewards bad plays by survivors

After playing the pth more here are my thoughts.
30 seconds of God mode is too long, reduce it to 20.

Make vigil 30-40%
Meyers: don't do this. It kills his identity.
New killer and survivor: nice, perks are underwhelming, but the new killer seems fun and the survivor is cute.
Overall this ptb is a major miss. Please listen to the feedback on this from us
