woah woah woah... so it’s the killers job to hold the game hostage until all survivors are dead, especially when there are 2 left and gates are active and really close to each other, you think that isn’t unfair? Your such a fool, it is unfair cause the survivor(s) are trapped if killer camps them. You should be embarrassed🤨
First, the killer doesn't hold the game hostage, have you forgot about endgame collapse? it makes it so the killer cant hold the game hostage.
Second, I'm a fool and should be embarrassed about myself because I have an opinion? Grow up man.
And third, you obviously didn't read my post properly you are taking things out of context

Nobody deserves a free anything.
The situation with one survivor being left and the Hatch being closed put the killer as a major advantage as it should because the killer played well and beat the survivors. While there still is a chance it should be incredibly difficult to claim back victory especially if you don't have perks that benefit endgame. (Wake up, Hope)
The same way if multiple survivors are alive when the last generator survivors are put in a very powerful position as they have the capabilities of controlling the flow of endgame 99% gates until they're sure everybody is safe and an easy exit route in case of tunneling. Like with the survival situation they should be really challenging for The Killers of claim back victory especially if they don't have perks suited to endgame. (Noed Blood Warden)
Should either party be given a free kill or escape because they got to their respective peaks? NO
However that doesn't mean they shouldn't have a massive advantage for hitting those peaks
Couldn't have said it better

I think you’re wrong. He runs way too fast its kinda ridiculous. I vaulted with my lithe once and he actually ran in front of me while it was active. Seems excessively fast 🤷♂️
Yeah, but that’s all he’s got, and if survivors are smart they will all spread apart to not get frenzied
-
I love bubba, never played a killer more than him in a row. I got to prestige 2 in a week using blood points I got from playing him and iri shards in the shrine of secrets
-
Ghostface is deadly if played right, I love him because you can have many different play styles with him. Whether it’s stalk, hit n run, or a mix of both and more, you can dominate high ranked survivors. I love playing all killers (but nurse because console sucks with her) and ghost face is high up on my favourite killer list.
i also like what he does with his left hand when walking
-
This is all my opinion

damn that sucks, man...
there isnt much you can do, honestly.
the best thing is to keep trying...
good luck with these games, i hope you get it soon :)
Your luck you gave me actually worked, after two weeks of this bs I did it, now I’m gonna go and enjoy life a bit knowing this hell is over

@Mister_xD said:
you could try to use Empathy to locate injured survivors and get near them before they go down.
once they did go down, make sure the killer leaves the hooked area (Kindred is your friend here - not only because it shows the killer, but also the other survivors, who now are your rivals) and then go for the unhook.
you can announce that you'll be the unhooker before the game starts in the chat aswell, just know that you're gonna have togive up on gens that game.
We don’t have before game chat on console, and that’s what I’m doing but every time something stupid happens where I can’t get the unhook. Either the killer is bad and can’t get hooks, killer brings a mori, survivor kill them selves on hook, another survivor does the unhook before I even can, the killer spots me when I’m hiding in the ######### corner, the killer camps, the killer has oblivious status and insta goes for the person I unhooked not procing BT the list goes on. I’m probably just the most unfortunate person on dbd or something

i mean.. it's not easy, but this is the proper loadout.
4 out of 6 unhooks, when you yourself can get hooked/camped/ignored by survivors; teammates dc and waste that match; teammates one hook themselves.. alot of things can happen, it's not "easy"
I know it shouldn’t be easy but it relies on what your teammates do way to much. I have been EXTREMELY unlucky

I did it on my first try. Bring Borrowed Time and Empathy. Easy.
I have a whole unhooking build going. Empathy, BT, Kindred and iron will (so I don’t get caught)

Players on console have full control over their keybindings.
Not full, also ya frustrating to pick out a proper control setup because if you use any of the XO(triangle, square) buttons for interactions you give up your right stick to look around which at high level play is detrimental, if you try to switch L1 as your run button to L3 it’s difficult to get those precise turns on corners. Really frustrating tryna figure out a good setup, I got something but I can’t use items :(
-
Can’t do anything lol, gen speeds are too fast, u can delay it with perks but at least 2 of those 3 gens will pop
-
I tried changing my controls hopefully it works (I don’t know yet) gonna be frustrating cuz I’m so used to my other one, 2 years of muscle memory with this game
-
They are both things that end the game early just because you have it, all survivors can escape right in front of your face ignoring the objective completely, killers can kill a survivor without hooking then the amount of times they need to be hooked, ending everyone’s game early. How does that not sound unfair or boring
-
I play both killer and survivor and you will begin to understand that if u just throw down the pallet he can’t do anything, so loop the pallet until you get injured and then throw it down as soon as you get to it next, throw down every pallet as soon as you get to it and he can’t do #########

I mean, I was able to apply enough pressure with him, sorry that you're having trouble with this killer, maybe if you put some more time into him it would increase your chance of getting kills. Good luck!
I’ve been playing killer for two years, I can’t tell a weak killer when I play one. But thanks anyways

@Seanzu said:
I like him, he's fun.
I like him because he’s fun, but he’s nothing else
-
@Dominum_vestri said:
It's not problem with him - it's problem with gens speed
Exactly, he can’t apply gen pressure because they go too fast and t can’t travel fast enough
-
They won’t no matter how good of an idea this is because they don’t care about the players base they want money, the money is where survivors are at since there are at least 4 times more players playing survivor than killer. So they make it easy for survivors so they keep buying cosmetics

Just so we're clear, I'm only making a note of it to bring to the team, it's not a confirmations that it will change.
Can u explain why we cannot have completely custom controls on console? It kinda sucks as I want to get more optimal button inputs while playing killer
-
Whoever says it's aim dressing is so silly, it's not. It makes me automatically swings my weapon when I CLEARLY held the button down to keep lunging
-
I really like using We'll make it + (I forgot the name but that healing perk on Steve) + DS. Once you're off that hook you are basically completely protected

Wait i thought that setting made the sound go through the headset instead of your monitor? i havent played the game in weeks because so many issues and delays. could you name the exact settings? id like to give it a try to see if it helps out (should i also turn off the mega bass boost on my headset then?)
I can send a photo in a bit, it's the one that just says "head phones" with a check box, make sure it's not checked off and your head set is plugged into your controller as I don't know if it works if it's connected to your XBox or PS4
-
I don't want cross play cuz I don't want to go against a bunch of sweaty PC survivors. I like my casual survivors on PS4 it's always fun
-
This wouldn't take as long as people think, all the models and maps are designed and music. Every asset is done and idea for characters, redoing the code would be a great idea
-
I'm too lazy to list out all maps but I hate all farm maps and Haddon field. I like most wreckers yard maps and MacMillan estate maps, I love the underground complex and the game as killer for all killers and any really big map is bad and I hate
-
This morning I nearly got No Mither to work, killer slugged after not realizing that I could pick myself up. I recovered ALL THE WAY right to 99.99% was about to get up and he picked me up. >:((((
-
I can't do my stupid survivor challenge for escaping through the exit gates three times because they just dc or camp me, understand able though
-
Doing gens isn't hard at all and hiding is a little difficult. When u said u throw down the pallet and it happens to be you are on the wrong side and the killer hits you the first thing that comes to mind is that you are not using your camera angles well, learn to keep your eye on the killer while looping while knowing your surroundings as u are probably just looking at where you wanna go.
Also it's good to predict where the killer will go next based off where you saw them looking last
-
Probably would never be used, it seems really weak

Go up to one and do the emote wave thing, I'm sure they will come if the game is taking 30 minutes

You're complaining about doc TR on IRONWORKS? I was expecting an actual small map like Game. What was your team doing?
Also this, IRON WORKS HAS AN INFINITE SO YOU SHOULDNT BE GOING DOWN INSTANTLY. Also it's not small you and your teammates just thought you could diddle diddle along like you all normally do and quickly finish every gen without any actual strategy
-

He wouldn't chase anyone for more than 10 seconds since everyone was injured the whole game. I really don't know what to say other than that it was impossible to finish a gen.
His unnerving presence made the overcharge skillcheck the size of a toothpick and then his surveillance would go off and he would come rushing over. Would end the chase quickly as a doctor can and then leave to get the next person on the gen he abandoned for those 15 seconds. Rinse, repeat. He wouldn't spend time picking anyone up or chasing anyone, so there was no time to work on a gen while he was distracted.
He could see across the whole map because it was Ironworks.

If you were all injured then back away far from those gens and heal eachother up, it's called resetting

He could and did stop all of us. All of that is easier said than done.
No, it is as easy done as it is said. Three survivors work on three separate gens, while another one gets chased. If he leaves that survivor without getting the down that survivor can work on the other gen that's left as he goes to another gen. Gens take 80 seconds, the only way he could win in that situation is if you survivors go down as soon as he comes to your gen and he slugged which you SHOULD NOT go down immediately if you aren't stupid or bad at the game
-
@lynelmane said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1126638#Comment_1126638
We didn't 3-gen. There were 4 left.
Then all of you should split up and work on separate gens, there's no way he could stop all of you, if there is three of you that also works. Two of you left? It is pretty much impossible to win by then but how did you get down to two survivors left if he camps just a few gens in one area?
-
Ash all the way, all his perks are garbage

@BigTimeGamer said:
At this point its a choice between everyone suffering or just survivors
neither is good
If you are a survivor and you are in a lobby with bad ping just leave and reque
With dedicated you have no choice but to play or quit the game until they do something

I feel like this is perfect in my opinion!
Let's say you got hit by Exposed status effect for 60 seconds from MYC.
60 > 10 🔼
60 - 10 = 50
Therefore, the survivor will become Exposed for 50 seconds.
Let's say you are exposed by Rancor, but you are healthy.
You will automatically remove the Exposed status effect within 60 seconds.
Yes, you can be killed by the killer, but at least you will not go down in a single basic attack. 😁
Here's another one, let's say you're exposed because Myers reached EW III.
If Myers is using add-ons to extend his EW III, Vigil will remove the Exposed status effect faster.
This happens because the Exposed effect from EW III doesn't have visual timer survivors can see around the status icon. That means the status effect is considered permanent because survivors don't see their exposed timer.
This will also apply to Ghostface, survivors will remain exposed less but remain marked like normal.
Would be a good counter to NOED as well, until another survivor gets hit since it doesn't get applied until a survivor gets hit. Better hope it ain't you

I want so give :3

Sadly there are two arguments to this, yours which I agree w but also he did get the 4k in the end of the match and double pipped.
To counter the other argument you could also say they could've actually did some gens at the start instead of thirsting for unhook and try to bully the killer. Even though they did all of that and screwed up SUPER bad they still managed to pop all the gens, no matter how well he played and how bad they are at the game
-
Yes I want
