How to fix sound issues on console, at least a bit

If you wear head phones you will notice that it's difficult to hear where things are coming from. If you turn off the setting in audio called "headphones" it removes that bass crap and you can hear things from different directions. Give it a try near a powered gen and you will really hear the difference

    Wait i thought that setting made the sound go through the headset instead of your monitor? i havent played the game in weeks because so many issues and delays. could you name the exact settings? id like to give it a try to see if it helps out (should i also turn off the mega bass boost on my headset then?)

    I can send a photo in a bit, it's the one that just says "head phones" with a check box, make sure it's not checked off and your head set is plugged into your controller as I don't know if it works if it's connected to your XBox or PS4
