not one of them answered!How do you know that not one of them answered?

Yes, they already said they hold the reward for winners on PS4 and XBOX so I doubt that it has anything to do with that. They would have known already that it will take some time for the updates to be released.
-
The perk doesn't need to be removed, it just needs to be adjusted to make sure you make a safe hook rescue. Only awarding tokens when the person was unhooked outside the killers terror radius or maybe if the survivor doesn't get downed within so many seconds after the unhook.

Where did they say that?
Lol you have him all worried about shirtless David.

LOL, actually no, I hope they get rid of it.

I guess for now the your best bet is to record or screenshot every one of your purchases.

They should at least have a 25 upvote requirement, to show they’re active and not spamming.Something like that seems like a good idea. Also, I believe they should have made the raffle exclusively for people who don't already have Auric Cells instead of possibly giving more to those who already "can afford to buy them" or have already bought some.
With a daily player base of almost 25-30K on steam, It's also very disappointing to see they are only giving them out to 26 people. That's a bit of a joke. -
Ehm, no.
-
The changes are perfect and SOOOO NEEDED! The game is infested with every tom, dick and harry using sprint burst, self-care etc. It's not only ######### to see that on every survivor every single game from a killers point of view, but also from a survivors point of view. There is no surprise, no variety anymore. Just a meta-feast.
As a survivor main, I'm absolutely sick of seeing survivors prioritising healing themselves over making an obvious safe rescue of a hooked survivor, sick of seeing them doing the endless pallet-heal-pallet-heal garbage and a lot of them even refusing to get healed by other survivors because they would rather have the points for themselves.
Well now sucker, don't be crying when you don't complete your selfish slow self-heal and the killer is gonna come around giving you one when you could be happily running around alive already with my help.

Why can't they just introduce instant time penalties? If the system is able to recognise if a DC was intentional or not as they claim, then what's the problem in locking players out of the game for like 30 minutes when they DC?Also, they could introduce a 1 day ban if someone intentionally DCd more than 3 times in a day. But don't let that build up as in resulting to a permanent ban. Let them be banned for a day over and over again if they keep DCing over and over again.
Because there are countless bugs in the game that actually force you to DC. I had a day where I had to DC three times in a single day (long session though) because several survivors were holding me hostage.
Fix those bugs, then introduce casual and ranked and have strong punishments in rankedAnd here I am, playing almost the entire day, every day and I never have any bugs or hostage situations forcing me to DC, not for many many months.

Anyone escaped through the hatch? Then it doesn't count. You have to escape through the gates. Offerings/items don't matter.

The blinks are easy, predicting survivors behaviour and running routes is the hard part. And she's only "too slow" for all them tom, dicks and harrys using Sprint Burst.

Nurse, because I liker her action rich and skill-based power. I collect pallet loopers' tears in buckets.

Guys if you could get everything with grinding they wouldn’t make money stop calling them greedy they are being generous with the FREE CHAPTERS like come on what more do you want everything to be 1 shard? You get a decent amount of shards when you level up stop moaningGreedy because they know people are more willing to buy skins instead of chapters, so instead of charging us for the chapters, they are making them free and charging us for all the good looking skins - with a massive price tag! Also, buying the new killer and survivor with auric cells is more expensive than buying the chapter which includes both + an exclusive cosmetic. Logic?!
They can charge us for everything for all I care, as long as they don't bloody overprice their stuff. 3 cosmetic items are more expensive than a chapter, and they are not even giving the TINIEST amount of auric cells out for free for those that maybe pay for a chapter or as a gift for the introduction of the store. It could have just been 300 or 400 cells, enough to buy 1 measly cosmetic, but no, instead they give everybody 1.8K shards that you can earn in a couple of days anyway. Like, seriously, how uptight can you be?
Do i understand that right, that if you buy the dlc, you get an exclusive cosmetic? Which one? Because i didnt get a skin or auric cells or somewhat else, just the two characters...
Yes, you understood right. The exclusive skin is Kate's top in a white version.

I'm at level 17, getting 195 Shards. At level ~13 I was getting 150.

@theagitatedapricot said:
Well, we're just not going to agree on this. A single re-colored item is not worth 5 hours, in my opinion, and never will be.1 skin from the shop for $5 is not worth it. 5 hours is nothing.
-
@theagitatedapricot said:
It's just misleading for them to say "You'll earn shards much faster!" Yes, it's true.. but things cost a lot more. Unless I'm getting the math wrong, it takes about 5 hours just to unlock the cheapest single cosmetic (like a different colored shirt for Claudette).It's not misleading because YOU ARE earning shards ~3 times faster. And before that you couldn't unlock anything with them other than teachable perks. They didn't say you can get teachable perks from the shrine or anything else 3 times faster. They promised us that we will get shards much faster now, and that's exactly what we are getting.
5 hours for 1 low priced cosmetic item is not bad at all. You have to work for them and not collect them all in a matter of a couple of days. It's meant to add longevity and purpose to the game. -
@theagitatedapricot said:
Sure, but things cost 3.63x as much. Purchasing a perk in the shrine that cost 550 before now costs 2000. 2000/550 = 3.63Before you would have to play at least 55 games with 10 shards every time, to get 550 shards. Now it averages about 65 games to be played to obtain 2000 shards, so it's not really that much worse.
Considering you probably wouldn't have gotten 10 shards in every game, I would say it almost the same amount of games. They just shouldn't have reduced the amount of bloodpoints received. But it's so much easier now to get bloodpoints, I can't really fault this system in any way. -
I'm at Player Level 14 right now, and for the past few levels (and probably the next few) I get 150 iridescent shards for levelling up. Per level, I need 2.1K experience points, which are easily obtained in about 5 games.
In the past you would get a max of 10 shards per game, so if you played 5 games that would be 50 shards. Now you play 5 games, get a level up and receive 150 shards (idk why everybody says 140, it's incorrect). So, at least for the lower levels, you are obtaining shards 3 times faster than before.

The prices have now been adjusted to the proper exchange rates. £4.80 for the smallest pack has now dropped to £3.75 (which actually equals to $5). But no actual reduction of prices in sight.
-
@Canextro said:
Yeah I agree, the prices are waayy too high as of now. I foresee the prices being modified with the backlash it has received. It would cost an inane amount of money to buy out these cosmetics. Even just the ones that can only be purchased with auric cells, it is still ridiculous.Yes, to buy all auric cells only items you have to spend at least $100, when you buy the largest cells package. When you do it by repeatedly buying the smallest one, the overall cost is $150. And that is ONLY for the survivors!
For now, they seem to have adjusted the unfair foreign exchange issue. my price for the smallest pack is now 3.75 instead of 4.80. But that still equals to $5, so seems the Devs are reluctant to backtrack on their greedy atittude.
-
People that bought the Clown DLC have received Kates top as a white version. That is the exclusive skin.
-
@Juya said:
It's true, when you look at the prices of the dlc and then at the pirces in the store. It start to get pretty silly how hight they seems. Specially how it seems to cost 7$ just to buy kate with the auric cells why it cost 7$ to buy the whole chapter!Not only that but as previously said, with 500 auric cells ($5) you can only buy 1 MAYBE 2 cosmetic item, if you are interested in the wrong ones. $5 for one skin vs. $7 for a whole chapter seems pretty darn pa**etic.
-
2 games to level from 1 to 2. You get ~45 shards. Thats twice as much/twice as fast as before. Nothing to complain here.
-
I already made a post about this, before the DLC got released, not like many people paid much attention in their hype for it.
-
Yes, a white version of her top is the exclusive skin.
-
Team Nurse. She's a babe.

@dispencer said:
no one has said yet that the Devs mentioned an exclusive for those that purchase the DLC the old fashioned way. whether i purchase the DLC that way or unlock them another depends how who that cosmetic is for and how good it is.I quote: "DLCs will still be an option. In this case, you’ll get both the killer and the survivor and an extra exclusive skin for a discounted price."
-
Pallet Looping does one thing above all else: It gives the pallet looping survivor a guaranteed escape.
Dead by Daylight is not a game, where you should have a guaranteed way or setup to be able to escape all the time. You should work for your escape.Pallet looping is not working for your escape. It's mindless, boring, repetitive behaviour that requires absolutely 0 skill, it only requires you to learn how to pallet loop correctly. People, and the Devs, say a killer shouldn't get themselves pallet looped and just search for other survivors, but at the current state of the game almost every single survivor pallet loops.
What are you meant to do then? Stand in the corner, like a little good boy and give the survivors their so deserved, guaranteed escape because they are all so good at pallet looping?
-
I use Bond, Iron Will, Stake Out and Urban Evasion. I don't think any of them are actually classed as meta perks, and I really enjoy playing with them.
Before that I used to use Quick & Quiet and Lightweight instead of Stake Out and UE, that was until I felt like Q&Q became useless because every damn Killer just randomly looks into all the lockers now. RIP all-green setup. -
I've been playing Meg as a main from Day 1, and I guess I will still stick to her for majority of the time. Sometimes I play as Claudette or Jake.

My issue with this idea of making SC a "free medkit" is that we already have a perk that does that: Pharmacy.Ehm, no? Pharmacy gives you a guaranteed emerg. med kit on your first search, faster chest searching and reduced noise. Nothing of what he suggested has anything to do with this in the slightest.
I think he means more like make it a token based system, almost the same as Stake Out can build up tokens, with Self Care you would be working down until 1 token/1 full self healing cycle is consumed.
Med-Kits could slow down the speed at which the tokens get consumed as well as speed up the self healing process. -
This is actually a change I have thought about as well. Self Care should definitely not be infinite, a limit to like 3 full self heals seems absolutely reasonable, especially in combination with med kits. Why they haven't done that already is a mystery to me.
Every tom, dick and harry uses self care and sprint burst. -

I can confirm this.
Devs said, on their stream, that directly buying the DLC with money instead of purchasing it with Shards in the new store will give an EXCLUSIVE cosmetics. The source is the stream with the french accent asian wamen.EDIT : looking at the post above, it seems like it's possibly just a discount tho.
Yeah I was always wondering if the "discounted price" part was only about the exclusive skin.
If we are willing to spend the money and support the Devs by buying the DLC instead of unlocking it, what's the point of offering an exclusive skin at a "discounted price" when we might not even want to buy auric cells packs? Feels more like an illusion of a good deal, unless you are one to waste your money on that overpriced stuff. For buying the DLC they should give you a skin just for free, even if it's just a single cosmetic item worth 350-400 auric cells. Discounted price, phe, what a joke. -

People had issues with redshell last year around christmas. Check it out on steam.But the GDPR implementation date was only the 25th of May, at least until then it was not against the law.
-
I will probably buy the DLC, with cash. I have bought every DLC available through the steam store with the exception of the soundtrack and one DLC I was gifted.
However, with the newest revelations about the RedShell spyware and the fact that they are ripping us off with the price for auric cells packages, I feel a lot more hesitant to purchase future content. Shame, after investing 2.5K hours over the past 2 years.

Not sure why my old post was removed but anyways you'd have to go back 2-3 streams and rewatch them to find but they said if you directly purchase (future) DLC with money you will get exclusive cosmetics matching that DLC's theme. As for old DLC so far they have given Dwight a special cosmetic head for people who purchased the Leatherface DLC but they have not come out and said anything about giving out exclusive cosmetics to old DLC like the Doctor's. At the moment we'll just have to wait and see what they do.
Wait, what? They gave Dwight a head cosmetic if you bought Leatherface? When did that happen? D;

I love all the Coldwind Farm and all the Autohaven Wrecker maps (except for Gas Haven). But I hate the Swamps with a passion. Everytime I'm put on this map I just want to hardcore insta-DC. Atrocious maps, imo.
