@Hoodedfengm1n The worst exhaustion perk is by far, lithe. Sprint burst is better because you activate it when you want. This is why you see more sprint bursts than lithes on survivor builds.
I'll go with (from strongest to weakest): AD, DH, BL, SB, Lithe.
Also, if you don't think Sprint Burst is good, trust me, you're not using it correctly, I removed it from my build because I thought it was too of a crutch.
-
@Hoodedfengm1n I used to run Sprint Burst, crutch as hell, mainly against wraiths that would otherwise hit me while I was doing a gen.
-
@AsheruSwiftwind my perk and your perk would make a great combo. <3
-
@Poweas Me? I'm a PC player.
-
@ba_tetsuo well.. without a video there's no much we can do for you but to offer you our shoulder to cry on.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-
@No_Cluie_Louis I do it all the time. Maybe you don't know how to do it?
-
Maybe he knows because he had played against you before and remembers. He can see the name of the killer at the begining of the match (Shift+TAB - show players)
-
Do you have a link to the video?
-
Devs don't care. SWF is what made this game popular. So if anything, they want SWF to still be a thing.
If you're having problems with SWF, just use an ebony mori like I do. Problem solved.
-
I'm not saying they should hide the effect. It's just not compatible with the scratch marks mechanic.
-
@tehshadowman33 A survivor main, for sure. No killer main or 50/50 player would ever think of designing something even remotely close to MoM.
-
-So if the killer closes the hatch, the gens are blocked and the exit gates are automatically powered. So the remaining survivor/s can ONLY escape by opening a gate or using a key?
-If the killer closes the hatch to start the collapse, end game perks (like NOED and remember me and blood warden) will activate?
-
@Kilmeran yes, I know, I know, but this is general discussion, I'm just brainstorming with what we've got right now, just for fun. :-)
-
Me too, I use piggy a lot... I'm not an end game killer, I don't use NOED with any of my killers, but I could give it a few tries just to ensure the build works.
So you can basically, down the survivor while opening the gate with remember me, trap him, open the gate (so blood warden activates) and then hook him. Then try to find the other survivors who might come to rescue or might be on the other gate (blood warden might show them to you), unaware of what's happening.
It might be a really fun end game play if it works. Of course, if it doesn't work they might all escape, but well, that's the game, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. :-)
-
@PolarBear yeah, I know the video is edited to try to portray what would happen (maybe they don't even have it working yet), because they go from 4 gens to "FIND EXIT" (instead of 1 gen left to "FIND EXIT") that's why I assumed it was an error on the video and the actual collapse starts when one gate is opened.
-
Piggy can use NOED, down 2 or 3 survivors, trap them, and close the hatch.
LET THE GAME BEGIN!!!!
-
I've escaped A LOT of killers with eboni mori, git gud and stop crying.
-
Nonsense.
Then remove SWF. Eboni Mori is a counter to gen rushing SWF.
Survivors on comms do objectives fast and optimized, the killer can do objectives fast with an eboni mori.

Hoodedfengm1n - Legon IS fun to play against. I've been defeated by countless legions and had a good game.
How many can say that about 5 minute Hillbilly games?
How about hillbilly can only insta-down you if he's on a >1 second sprint? if not, it's just a regular hit. Unless a red addon is used (like the clown insta down). He will keep the map pressure, but won't be able to do the close insta downs. However, Leatherface may have the insta-downs, but not the map pressure. Wouldn't that be balanced?
-
@Bbbrian2013 Imagine (it's just an exercise of thought, so keep an open mind) if they change legion an they put wraith in his place. It's not a nerf, or a buff, the whole killer mechanics and strategy and the game you're supposed to play with him, changes. So it's up to you if that means a nerf (if it was easier for you to kill with the old legion mechanics) or a buff (if you find it better to kill using his new mechanics).
However, I'm kind of dreaming, when they said they'd rework Wraith I was really exited as I was a Wraith main, but then they just tweaked a few things here and there, wasn't really a rework, was a small buff (kicking gens and opening lockers invisible, a few changes to the addons and that's about it), so I really don't think they will change his mechanics, which are the actual problem with him. Maybe they'll tweak things like not being able to use the moonwalk exploit (like the timer won't go down while in terror radious) and tweak some addons and that's it.
I know about their reworks, they are not really reworks, just a bunch of small tweaks.
-
The palet vacuum removal was the best, by far.
-
Legion doesn't need to be nerfed or buffed. It just needs to be reworked so it is fun to play with and against him (or them...).
-
I loved this Dev Update.
Quick question @not_Queen is there any update on the perk MoM? are you at least discussing if it needs tweaking? I see a lot of people (myself included) complaining about it.
Thanks!

I created a post about this issue. Check it out.

NOED and Self Care.
-
I thought this game was unbalanced because killers were too strong.

i think it may be a little harsh, considering the 3 hits (=1 or 2 hooks) you need to go through, just to be able to take a hit while bodyblocking.
thats a little too situational in my eyes...
i think it would be better if you received the tokens by taking hits for the team and then avoid getting downed yourself after collecting 3 (= bodyblocking 3 times).
dunno how exactly that would affect the game, but i think it sounds good...
I'm not a fan of making it a token perk, since strong perks (like DS or adrenaline) are supposed to be used once per match. If you give a guy 3 chances to bodyblock, imagine a SWF team all using Mettle of Man! It would be insanely annoying (more than it is now) and it would break the game.
I'm in favour of making it a perk for special situations, maybe "one use per match" and going to broken state for 60 seconds (like DS), not something you can use anytime the killer tries to hook someone.
-
I've posted an idea for balancing this perk. Check it out, tell me what you think.

Slugging is a valid strategy, and it's not even "unsportsmanlike".
If you're worried or annoyed by it, run unbreakable.
-
A lot of perks are situational (some even are TOO situational). The ones that aren't, are meta.
For instance, all 3 perks from Jane Romero are situational.
The previous contidions may also change for MoM. Instead of "after 3 M1 hits" you could do:
1) After being hooked at least once.
2) Once per match (like the old borrowed time).
3) After being on the terror radious for certain amount of time (like Peeble)
The idea is to change it from a General Purpose Meta Perk as it is now, to a situational perk with certain conditions to activate so it can generate fun plays instead of being just "a free hit".
-
M1 Killers are too OP, we need more second chance perks for the survivors.
Keep them coming Devs!
-
Exactly. How many "here's an idea of how to fix DS" threads have been created? they took years to acknowledge the problem. So I'm expecting the nerf to MoM in about 2 more years or so.
Meanwhile, killer mains, go play civilization.
-
@Milo said:
Can we please wait atleast 4 days before making "op/up" threads?
why? would something change on 4 days?
-
Did we reach the point where WE should tell the Devs how to fix their game?
-
This perk is the same as the old DS. It rewards the survivor with a free escape for doing... nothing. Even the old DS had a skillcheck they could fail. This perk:
-Has no counter (not even juggling like the old DS).
-The survivor doesn't have to do anything to earn it (not even hit the old DS skillcheck).
-You can't avoid it if the survivor decides to use it (like praying for the survivor to fail the DS skillcheck)
-If the killer mind games the survivor, it rewards the survivor with a free escape.
So it's even stronger than the old DS.
-
I think once or twice by mistake, like I found the one that has just been unhooked by chance (or he was too idiot and came back to me) so I downed him and then I was like "wow! DS! Nice!" I was even almost happy and surprised to be DStriked. :-)

Here are the devs explaining how to achieve Deranged Persuit (at 27:50).
