maybe hes getting noob survivors or open maps without a single tree and rock that can block all hatchets :^)
My man, you gotta check him out. His hatchets are fire.

Watch TUR jay on twitch and YouTube. He has a pretty damn good huntress, on console as a matter of fact.

Biased people gonna be biased. Nothing you can do about it. Although survivors don't really have anything else to than gens so I hardly say genrushing is even scummy, while the killer can decide to tunnel people out early for a 3v1 like a real small pp wielder, or play with regards to the other side's fun as long as it doesn't mean throwing the game for it.
We need to stop this stereotyping crap.
I've already stated this before. Sometimes people with big pps tunnel as well.
-
Yeah, even me, a die hard supporter of strong killers, have given up playing Freddy.
He is way to ez for all he has in his basekit.
And if you're playing slow down freddy with a mori, damn you better be new to killer, or you're not as good as you think.

There use to be a bug where if the killer dc's the survivors don't get any points if the killer dc's.
Oh, that is even worse. But yeah I don't blame you if you are stuck in a pallet
-
I hear you. Why do so many people DC at end game as well. I had a killer DC after the gates were open with 4 cakes in play. Like that is so many points, and you are just going to DC because everyone got out. Like #########.
And survivors doing it, unless you are being sandbagged by another survivor, is terrible sportsmanship. It completely screws over the team.

Do the bones and it doesnt hurt you. You can't ######### about a perk being OP or a crutch when it's easily countered
Damn bro, I thought this was just a joke discussion, not a real debate on the perks.
Like I said before, good survivors don't give a ######### about Noed , and good killers don't use it.

I think it is all individual. I have had plenty of really good players send salt because they got caught early. They expect to loop you for days, and when that doesn't happen, then they get salty. They also seem to be the ones that DC when they get caught.

Good survivors don't need DS, Deadhard, Unbreakable, BT, etc. etc. but here we go!
But let's shame a killer for using anti-genrush perk because we have no skills to counter it.
Funny survivors.
Noed being a noob crutch perk is an old school killer perspectives. Not so much a survivor one.
I would not be caught dead using it, because when I first started killer, it was killers that made fun of it.

Another fun fact even good killers use noed just to screw with cocky survivors and combo it with let's see warden we have the deathslinger who can hook you and drag you into a insta knock plus it gives a decent speed boost as well
That's not using Noed if you're just memeing around.
I'm talking about killer that uses it in their basic everyday build.

Good survivors dont give a ######### about No Ones Even Dead yet.

Why does everyone always say such and such killer has no skill.
PH, no skill, Spirit no skill, Slinger no skill, Freddy no skill.
What is everyone supposed to just play clown and get curbstombed?

its not about the killer lock man. thats probably the best thing to come out of this recent set of updates, its about how this now exposes an issue with the lobby system where killers cant counter in time the items the survivors want to bring in.
if your playing hag or wraith you probably want to bring in franklins if all 4 survivors bring flashlights, however if everyone on 6 seconds remaining pulls out a flashlight you cant make the change in time.
I get it.
But you would be playing survivors of equivalent skill so their item would be less of a factor.

Did you read? It’s not the survivor it’s the items and the fact they give killers the ability to see survivors and react but if they can have a survivor kitted out with ds bt dh adrenaline and a key and they only pick it at 6 seconds you can’t react
You cant see their perks
-
Survivors are just skins, skill level is the same. Not so with killers and powers.
Killers have been asking to be matched according their skill with different killers. And you're complaining when it happens. Smh...

Is NOED really so much a second chance perk? Supposedly the devs wanted (IDK about now, but a while ago they said this) 2 kills 2 escapes in an "ideal" game, meaning the generators should be getting powered.
The devs may want it that way, but doubtful many killers do.
I want my 4k, however I will never run No Ones Even Dead yet. If you power the gates, good on you. At least I know I probably gave you a game.

I know you're joking but the fact there are people out there who think all of those should be actual things makes me shake my head sometimes. The only one I kind of agree with that you didn't mention is solo players should have a kindred-ish effect base.
On topic, there was a time when the hatch didn't spawn when there was one survivor left and 2 gens hadn't been done. This leads to survivors just hiding which is why the hatch was changed around a bit. They could have it where when you're the last one alive EGC just starts but that leads to trophy problems as well as an basically impossible chance for the last person to ever get out.
In most cases the hatch isn't even a win for the survivors but a consolation prize. Whenever I get the hatch as the last survivor I don't think, "Oh yeah I showed that killer who's boss!" I think "Well at least I got some extra points." The only times I'm smug about a hatch escape is if the killer is playing like a jackass with hardcore camping/tunneling.
The thing is as well, if you really want a 4k that bad then just slug and spend the time finding the hatch if it has spawned and then look for the other person. You can guarantee the 4k the majority of times with only 2 left.
Yes I totally agree.I dont even spend time looking for the hatch if I am the last 1 alive. I pick a direction and run
If I get it, lucky, if not, well I didn't really expect to anyway.
But I agree, I have never gotten the hatch and been like, "yeah, really showed that killer."
The hatch escape is not a win in my opinion.
-
Since tunneling exists why not make DS basekit.
Since camping exists why not make BT basekit.
Since slugging exists why not make unbreakable basekit.
See where this leads

They should have never existed this is the point, just because they already exist does not mean compensation is not in order.
Am I the only one who finds whining survivors ironic? Especially about NOED when they have their hatches and adrenaline (and million second chance perks)?
You are.
-
Yeah, I have to disagree. I am certainly no potato, but I am not the best looper in the game. However I know how to strategize, when to save, when to pound gennys, I understand the perks the killer is probably running.
I am definitely better than potato at killer.
I would say your numbers are skewed. Potatoes are probably like 25%. Also these are relative terms. What constitutes a potato in red ranks is ultra great in yellow ranks.
-
I don't seem to load into Mori games for some reason......
But, keys, are ez. It is a free game to tunnel without needing a reason.
As for me I won't play either one.
-
Are we still coming to the forums and crying about tbags?
It's a game, dude , don't take it so seriously.
And you are delusional if you think it only goes 1 way.
There are toxic players and nontoxic players, that's it.
-
I was gonna say, gen rush doesn't exist, it's just doing objectives.
Then I saw the builds and items and realized these folks were intent on gen rushing.
I'm all for keeping pressure on the killer, but damn don't they want some interaction in the game?
-
I don't play toxic but I do enjoy the challenge.
I think that is why I enjoy facing SWFs, the coordinated ones. Not necessarily the toxic ones.
Although I believe toxic is an overused term, like entitlement.
But for me, 4 randoms is almost always a 4k ez. At least with swf I can sweat a bit.

So on the flipside, someone who gets good at any killer, can now pick a new one to roflstomp new survivors with. Great.
No if you pick a killer you are good with, you will get survivors of equivalent skill level.
-
Haven't you read the notes.
It is so the new mmr can rank you with survivors of equivalent skill to the killer chosen.
So you cant put on a killer you suck with, get ez survivors then switch to one you mastered.

I mean, a double pip would be fair. My girl and I just been having ignorant killers who will DC like 5 minutes in aka no one had more than 5 to 10k points. They do it when we put the cakes on, I'm about done wasting my cakes lol
Yeah it never fails when I play streamers I get tunneled right out of the game.

I make a killer DC, that is a triple pip in my opinion

So you think getting slugged at five gens, getting at max 8k points, at min 2k, aka not even being able to play the game is fun? That someone should, "keep their opinion to their self" when someone plays in a way seemingly just to prevent the other side from getting a chance to? People criticize survivors for doing it all the time, purposely setting out to bully the other side, but when a killer does it you can't criticize their playstyle, because reasons.
I think it is an unfun playstyle.
But I think texting another player and insulting them because you lost , is more ignorant than slugging in a video game that is designed to allow it.
-

Exactly at this point to me it looks like it could be the guy, cause Killers aren't this saulty usually unless they have had terrible games in a row
That's what I thought.
And they look like they criticized the killer and he said f off.
What's he supposed to say, "oh sorry, wont happen again "?
I get that we all don't always agree on playstyle, but keep your opinion to yourself unless asked.
-
What's the point of this post?
I don't even know who said what.
-
Yeah it has changed, it aims to the right by default now I believe. Doing a pretty good job so far!
-
I wish I could DS this post!
-
She is actually one of the weaker killers in the game, however I also hate facing her. I am not the best looper, so inevitably I get a free party hat.
My thing is how often many pigs will just chase you down, even with the party hat and re hook you.
But the biggest thing for me is how her power just removes you from playing the game normally. Now ,I have to run all over the map and search these pig boxes instead of playing the game.

More often than not that killer will down the person who just got unhooked and either slug them or hook them again.
This may be true, but it is still the survivor's fault for an unsafe unhook. It kills me how often this happens to me when I play solo, and not even BT.
But as frustrating as it is, I am not mad the killer, but more annoyed at the survivor that farmed me.
-
I think both DS and NOED are BS OP perks.
I would say running either one in your everyday builds, means you are not as good as you think.
-
I just don't get the big deal about SWF unless we are talking about, the few seal teams SWFs. I mean, who is worried about the 4 man rank 13s or whatever?
And don't we want a little bit of a challenge. 4 randos is almost a guaranteed 4ks.
I personally don't have a problem with SWF. If I suspect they are a 4 man tryhard team, I would put on Spirit, when we could switch killers that is.
Now , hopefully if I am learning the Nurse I will at least get matched up with those of equal skill.

This is reGODDAMNdiculous. This is the kind of thing that really annoys me. There SWF teams out there like this and there is almost no counter play. I mean yeah with perfect play you could have beaten this team but who plays perfectly every single game. I played against an entire team of megs the other day who really messed me up as I was playing as ghostface. Trying to remember who I had stalked was impossible. I ended getting a 3k but that is just because they were super altruistic.
I still advocate that there should be 2 queues, one solo and one swf.
But that is how you beat them. Use their altruism against them.

There is no chase if you're getting farmed off hook.
If you are getting farmed that is ######### teammates, why should killer get punished for it?

One DS may not reveal anything, but getting hit with more than one probably means tunneling. Solo queue is also farm>save, so DS is necessary there, but both perks are really scummy.
I just see it as DS = complaining killer; no DS = tunnel.
I don't use NOED personally, but killers should be given more power during the end-game.
How is literally getting hit with more DSs tunneling?
The More survivors you hit and hook, the less time for tunneling. Unless that team can't win a chase, in which case how is this the killer's fault for outplaying them?
It's a BS perk. Even if you get tunneled, win a chase!

@Valor188917 said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1483408#Comment_1483408
that's not the point, if survivors dont derp around and play commando (basically sit on gens), don't clump up, do middle gens first then gens WILL pop. Again, the game is balanced around a 50% killrate and a killer who plays fair will get maybe 2 kills if survivors don't ignore totems.
Also the NOED killer is basically playing with 3 perkslots all game long so he's weaker.
So is the adrenaline survivor. 3 perks that is.
Idk, I like to play as fair as I can, but I am not cucking myself and allowing gennys to pop. If survivors are getting the middle gens done, sitting on gennys, the killer is losing. However the killer has a big say in how these games go as well.
I think this is where individual skill and character chosen has a lot of say. If I am playing Clown on Ormond, I am probably losing my gennys, If I have spirit on Auto Wreckers, I may 4k with 5 gennys left.
If new match making actually works, maybe that will change.
-
@Valor188917 said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1483373#Comment_1483373
The game is literally balanced around the gens being done mate.
Maybe, but I still 4k plenty before all gennys are done. At least enough to feel NOED is a waste of time. I'd say on average, if all gennys pop, at least 2 survivors are dead.
-
@DetailedDetriment said:
1. People complain about NOED because it rewards underperforming whereas Adrenaline awards good performance.
2. NOED also takes no effort to obtain since it is a base perk that shows up on almost every web until purchased. Adrenaline requires you to play enough to level Meg up to 40.
3. Adrenaline is temporary while NOED is technically permanent. Permanently having Bloodlust 1 is pretty powerful.
4. Many matches can end with the killer not getting any hooks the whole match, and then getting a 3K because of NOED.
This is why I more often compare it to DS. Because both are strong perks that reward failure. Failure to kill all survivors before end game and failure for the survivor to win a chase. Both give an undeserved advantage.
Honestly tho, I don't believe either one is going anywhere. At least NOED can be countered before it procs, and can only show up once per game. Unlike a 4 man DS game.
