  • 15+ pallets chained together, S tier main building for Survivors, huge time waster trying to chase someone competent in that house of horror and lot of stuff everywhere on allready above avarage sized map. Awfull map.

  • He feels good againts Survivors who don't look at him and don't try to dodge his ability and those who ignore his teleports.

He is kinda weak againts decent Survivors who know how chase and power works.

Sorry but this sounds like a skill issue. He is at BEST top B tier if you know him well and I mean you can hit almost all your shots.

  • Only solution to camping and tunneling is to bring back reworked Emblem system as matchmaking and making the game around hooks and chases rather than pure kills.

However this would also reguire to give base kit slowdown a bit for going for hooks because atm. Without any good slowdows you can't effort to do this againts decent competent teams.

It is the only way. Otherwise just tunnel and camp will be num.1 strategy always.

  • This killer power is so sad just rework him please allready...

  • @Nazzzak said:

It's a noob trap perk designed to help the killer. Can't convince me otherwise. I'm glad I've so far avoided having team mates use it, even those doing Sable's adept haven't bothered using it.

Its like the same trap perk as Potential Energy on my soloQ teammates yet this one is even worse. I allready hate when someone using Potential Energy when repairing a gen with me only to just use its effect on the same gen (huge time waste). That perk on its own is allready pretty awfull and add people who don't even know how and when to use it.

  • Open loop / open area = dead Survivor

Objects that cover the Survivor that just holds W = dead trickster

  • I will just add that some people on forums suggest to link the sets (which would be the most easy solution for BHVR to do if they want to do something about it).

I want to say that this would be a bad idea and it would mean for future that any character can't wear the other gender body type of clothes because it could lead to the same thing in future and it would mean that all future skins should be locked only by gender to avoid such situation which sounds pretty bad to me.

So if they really change these clothes and lock them behind gender-same-characters only, then I think if there ever will be character that could swap clothes like that, I should never buy (including with shards) such clothes because it could get changed again and it would be double standart that one character can't mix match and other could.

  • I really hope we don't see something like "ok so because few bad actors now we will link/remove/rework skins for Unknown" that would be pretty bad. Would be like punishing all players because of small % of bad actors doing this toxic stuff.

  • I think he is mid in everything.

If you face Survivors who will not much try to juke your projectile its kinda easy but that is for every killer facing bad Survivors.

His power is bit tricky yet mid at best but also he is mid in fun too. He isn't exciting to play. Just very mid may slightly below mid in everything.

  • I think rework doesn't metter.

Unless she has lower pick rate than Twins and she is Killer with no power that moves at 3.9 m/s, everyone will hate her for everything.

  • Great and annoying main building, huge map with lot of stuff everywhere. Survivor sided for sure.

  • Any Killer with fun power that is not stealth is nuked here. Ranged? Too bad. Mobility? Bruh nah.

Some windows can chain spawn and be looped together for very long time.

Its only good for stealth killers that will usualy just send you there anyway.

  • I think SM on this map is kinda okay considering there are far worse killers you could be playing on this map. I don't think you had to just give up like that, you might secure some kill(s) out of that game and get lot of points.

There is a whole Trickster thread that BHVR unpinned....Trickster Feedback..... And I just posted something new there. But basically, A lot of dedicated Trickster mains who are decent veterans to top trickster veterans are losing interest in playing Trickster. I want to like this version of Trickster, I really did, but he feels like an extreme version away from what made him great before...I understand why casual players or people just picking him up feel like hes okay. After playing him a lot and both on Console and PC, I am seeing so much wrong with him now, and its hard to unsee or enjoy the more time you want put into him. I still find enjoyment, but I can see his issues...and he feels weaker even to me. So hes feeling frustrating a lot of the time with good survivors and swfs, because even with faster movement speed its not enough and now my power is weaker to trade for it?

I am a 900hr Trickster Main with probably around 9/10k lacerations on controller, and I am now starting to play him on PC with 50 hours and 1k lacerations. Controller will always be hard mode so there will always be a skill ceiling of some kind....but on PC its easier to aim,...so I understand now why he feels unrewarding to Trickster veterans on PC. With Trickster Mains, we enjoyed the challenge, getting downs mostly with knives, and the skill expression of downing someone only with knives is less now because of frequent Main Event (though Main Event has skill expression just not in low mmr and more about when you use it). The new skill expression is now not reloading for 3 to 4 chases. But you wont see new Trickster players do that, because if they take the time to learn Trickster properly they will of course lose for a while...and survivors who win against Trickster seem to be pretty ruthless for no reason......Everyone hates Trickster so the more survivors bash on baby Tricksters for losing trying to use their power lol....a new Trickster who spams (throws knives even when missing more than 3 or 4), camps, tunnels and uses meta everything to steam roll is born. If thats anyone who reads this, be patient, focus on his power, join Trickster community, watch others play. The problem is that this Trickster base kit is so much weaker now when using his power, that its hard to learn his power and not be tempted to do anything to win, including just m1 instead.

I see new Tricksters avoiding his power all the time, rely on Main Event, m1, or meta perks. I dont blame them. This is probably where the "no skill" comes from, new survivors or people who dont know how to counter Trickster in general, just not understanding that these Tricksters are not actually playing well, but if played ruthlessly can win anyway. But its just that the survivors complaining about no skill arent countering him properly. He actually takes a LOT of skill to play him efficiently or properly in medium to high mmr.

His throw rate, especially in Main Event is slow af, making him significantly weaker, but *yay* you have Main Event that pops every chase....you will secure a down probably, and you NEED to use Main Event, because that is how you play him efficiently now. It just gets repetitive at times. And the Trickster main cant avoid using Main EVent either, or he will run out of knives, and reload more often. Trickster HAS to m1 now more too, cause his throw rate is slower...I think that only adds to more frustration on both sides.

Or as I have seen with new Tricksters, forgo using your power altogether by just m1'ing mostly, because you are now 4.6 and you can....it feels like a mess to be honest. I love Trickster, everything about him, the way he looks, his cosmetics, his voicelines, story and gameplay.... I will always play this character, and he is difficult to master, but hes just not the same, he lost something....A lot of dedicated mains are giving up on him as of late.

With this version, 4.6 is nice in theory but they took away so much that anyone who knows a lot about playing this character knows...its not worth the trade of his previous stronger basekit. Not to mention it broke so many quality of life things with visual ques, sound, and animations....They took away ramping when throwing knives, his audio for that was removed, and his weaker throw rate and higher knives to injure make wanting to play him mostly m2 frustrating and hinder you....the fun part about him was using mostly knives. Main Event was so rewarding before because you knew that if you got it multiple times in 1 match, you were playing Trickster really well. It didn't have to be 30 knives to get, but why they went to 6 in PTB Im not sure. Especially because the cool down you have to go through now after Main Event hinders you every time you use it and BECAUSE you HAVE to use Main Event to conserve knives now, you are in that cool down animation a lot. So people learning to use Main Event need to be very careful when to use Main Event. That is where the current skilled expression is now with this version, not reloading for 3 to 4 chases, and knowing when to pop main event especially without an ME extender. But that will start to matter in medium mmr or high mmr, not so much in lower mmr. Survivors arent going to run in a straight line or run in a choo choo train for you anymore. So Main Event loses it lethality with a careful swf, or a survivor who can waste just enough of your time for gens to pop. Which doesn't take long. Hes weaker ironically because of the changes the higher up you go in mmr, and stronger in lower mmr than before. Like the opposite of what they wanted to do I think. He can end chases more quick now because of ME, which helps map pressure yes, but not if you are using his power/knives mostly and dont want to down with m1.... If you are using his power, the chase will take longer than previous Trickster. LOL So....you lose map pressure. Which is why a lot of veteran Tricksters are struggling, because not as much skill expression in m1. No offense to m1 killers.

I literally haven't seen a Trickster in months and finally went against a new one, on console at that...I was so excited..... and then he didn't throw a single knife.... He 4k'd with bat only. That broke my heart honestly. But again I cant blame him.

Main Event for me is really fun and this is what is great with new Trickster for me. He feels like walking minigun! haha

Okay let me stop the stopping.

Just because you don't like her doesn't suddenly make everybody hate her aswell, from what I have seen, she is loved by the community, the only thing that I mostly see people hating about her is: How much is she played (every Killer will get boring after a while when there is no variety) and her hitboxes.

+2 hatchets is huge, making her best add-ons base-kit is like if Blight got one of his old speed add-ons base-kit, dodging 8 hatchets was already quite hard, as you may know, but dodging 10 is basically impossible, even bad Huntresses will hit one of those at some point.

No let me stop stopping you stopping me.

Don't you dare try to stop stopping me your stopping me for stopping you.

  • "Good way to make a mostly beloved Killer an absolute drag to play against"

Okay let me stop you right here.

First, most beloved? Nah and in fact I dislike to play againts her allready because her power is just boring.

Second, absolute drag to play againts because she has now +2 extra hatches? Seriously? Sounds pretty overreacting tbh.

Damn I never expected defend Huntress buffs and I am not fan of her on both sides either.

They nerfed the charges granted from 105 to 70. That's a pretty significant nerf to the amount of charges it provides. Keep in mind you're broken for the rest of the trial.

Oh no! Let me kick that gen rly quick with my regression perks oh wow it's gone and now that person is broken for the rest of the game hell yea.

  • Lol what? That's a huge buff.

Now that perk is kinda scary tbh. Once people stop counting on it (few weeks after chapter hype ended), it might be legit good perk.

You think giving EVERY SINGLE gen on the map brand new part is like nothing? What...

  • That's cool but I think she is still low C tier at best.

  • Hey don't ask for nerfs on my favorite main event duration add-ons! Only if they put the difference in base kit so you rely on them less.

Also with Memento blades, yes they could put this base kit.

Also the mentioned combo add-ons are worthless true.

Boring power with little skill expression.

I disagree. How is not fun storming survivors and eating their health state? His main event (which you will get almost every chase) is pretty fun to use.

Also I think he isn't low skill as someone could say. Just because he looks simple doesn't mean he is. You have to know where to use your power, where to cancel it, where not and still be somewhat precise, etc.

  • Like 2 days ago I had Yun-Jin againts me who prob had wallhacks (she knew all my mind games in house on Haddofield without once failing) but she 100% had faster wiggle speed without Flip flop and she Once teleported away mid chase before she could be downed again.

  • "Survivors bringing BP offerings makes them want to gen rush faster!"

  • Its lore, teasers, desing, voice lines, animations and hallucination part of its power are all amazing.

However his main gameplay part being Fear Grenade Launcher that also feels kinda hard to predict is not looking much exciting to me. I am still waiting for changes from PTB before drawing conclusions but if they don't make his power at least more rewarding I don't think it will be my killer to play offten after the hype ends.

You mean the game should be balanced around 4 kills every match?

No, it should be balanced around Killer having a time to go for hook stages rather than kills but that is not possible atm without playing A+ killer and full slowdown build.

  • Let me just repeat myself:

Why is everyone so shocked still about tunneling?

This game is about kills and as long as it is about getting kills and MMR is based on that and only that alone, nothing will change.

You can try some bandaits or nerf tunnel/camp people still will and find other ways to get kills the most effective way.

Only way how to change it is to make the game around hooks but then you also need to give killers time (and motivation) to be able to 12 hook everyone because atm there is no way you can do it even on A tier killers unless you face baby Survivors.

  • You want to see more killers?

Then make them better! I know, crazy idea.

Instead of bandait "fixing" just start giving Billy 3.0 rework treatment.

  • You only see the type of items they bring, its not a big deal.

You don't see if they have insta endurance, auto heal, brand new part or just 5% healing increase addon.

  • One of the most Survivor sided map ever. Huge, super safe, super connected, confusing 5?! Different versions of this nightmare, The main building itself is Heaven for Survivors and if there is no basement down there good luck.

  • Pretty nasty with the right toolbox and build to gen rush.

  • I just wish people didn't give up so easily just because its Killer they don't like or the Killer gets them first/fast, etc. That's my biggest problem with SoloQ atm.

  • Maybe bit too big but other than that its balanced.

  • I think its balanced, prob bit 55% for killer and 45% for Survivor because of the size and quite easy gen control and map view, however Survivors still have lot of connected loops and it can take a while before you down someone.

  • Map is too big but fair other than that.

  • @MikaelaWantsYourBoon said:

Please no, this killer does not deserves any buff anymore. He is already annoying and boring to face. There is zero reason to give him buffs.

What are you talking about? Even with his buffs he is C tier at best. His problems remain the same, he is slow and any-non open loops kill him.

  • I love how almost every disscusion that involves SM makes her sound like God tier SS+ killer with no counterplay and Nurse and Blight are like summer wind compare to her.

  • " By reducing the Trapper's trap placement speed or limiting the number of traps he can carry, developers can introduce a much-needed element of risk and strategy to his gameplay. This adjustment would force Trapper players to be more selective and deliberate in their trap placements..."

Survivors in the meantime on 4th gen:

    image.png
  • I want Dredge Tome pls. His lore is interesting and I want to know + nice skin would be good (he allready has awesome skins but he deserves his Tome too!)

  • Spirit Fury, Enduring, Nemesis, Rancor.

    Exit gates opened.

I am Trapper and there is near by open gate with pallet, I bait Nea to come drop it on me, after few seconds she decides to take the free stun, only realising my evil build and she gets downed next to exit and Moried.

Other Survivor just watches. Then says in end game chat "nice bait" Hahahahah. Was so funny even to this day.

  • image.png

    Hands down.

With the other trash perks you can at least sometimes get some value or have them in very niche builds. This perk is so bad, "making you totally unpredictable" didn't aged well too.

    image.png

This is also very awfull, might be the worst honestly perk.

I would rather run NO perks than run this perk alone. It's a nerf to base kit Killers using this.

  • I think the perk on its own is good now.

The annoying part is how you can stack it with other blocking/regressing perks making it last very long time.

  • I am pretty sure on 95% it is. Prob same as Attack on Titant collection, maybe 1-2 years max.

  • I mean why would you spend 6000 AC for like 24 Survivors unless you are Survivor main and play ALL of them at least somewhat offten.

I think 250 AC is okay I quess. You get the cool lobby theme too, that's nice.

  • Let's rework all bad and weak Freddy add-ons then since he is the number 1 Killer who would need full add-on pass (and some base kit changes on top as well).

    image.png
    • Survivors who will enter Dream World by any means will have their aura showed to you for 3 seconds.
    image.png
    • Survivors who are inside the Dream World will have Skill Check warning cues delayed by +33%.
    image.png
    • Whenever a Survivor interact with Dream Snare or Dream Pallet they will drop their item on the ground, instantly lossing -5% of item max charges.
    image.png
    • Survivors who are inside the Dream World see all totems as if they were Hex totems.
    • Whenever a Survivor cleanses dull totem that acted as Hex totem, they will suffer from -15% repair and healing speed penalty until they escape from Dream world once.
    image.png
    • Whenever a Survivor enters the Dream World, your Lullaby is hidden for 20 seconds.
    image.png
    • Survivors who are Awake will constantly hear your Terror Radius as if you are far away.
    image.png
    • Awake Survivors no longer can wake up asleep Survivors from Dream World by interacting with them directly.
    image.png
    • You are able to teleport on completed Generators.
    • Increase the base cooldown of Dream Projection by +25%.
  • Buff chase perks then. Buff other weaker perks and make them GOOD, very strong. Not just "okay/decent" make them A+ tier and watch perk variation sky rocket.

  • I mean what can you run if you want to increase your chance to win a match?

Nerfed STBFL? Nope. Reworked Scourge Hook: Hangman's Trick? Hell no. Batteries Included? Also nope. Blocking a Gen when you down someone or when they repair a gen to prevent two gens pop fast? YES. Gen regression perks? Hell yea!
