BHVR and unasked changes, name a more iconic duo.
-
I"m already at 7 or so in one evening. It's not that bad.
-
They're still "monitoring" him, don't worry.
-
The void layout is also pretty different but yeah, that's about it.
-
Fog Vials are ones of the countless 2025 design failures for DBD. This bodes well for the 10th year.
-
2025 has really felt like this, hasn't it. Can't wait for the 10th anniversary to be a complete trainwreck.
-
It's not about strength. Twins have always been a borderline S (if not straight S) tier killer. Most people simply can't handle the 2-in-1 gameplay and their gross appearance.
-
2025 was quite the year for DBD, wasn't it. And they still have three more months left!
-
Been a thing for a while now. Still waiting for a fix.

At least some little hope, but I don't like this rework in general. Feels off the character and makes him play worse.
Yeah, they could have given Slaughtering Strike to a brand new character or maybe adapt it to Sadako or something. Myers rework should have taken a very different direction.
-
Cosmetics team might be getting overworked.
-
There are anti-tunnel and anti-slug measures already. Those are called DS, OTR, Unbreakable etc.
-
They now have standards though, how could this be?
-
The patch did as much as the Nurse nerfs did 3 years ago. Next to nothing.
-
@OnryosTapeRentals said:
Thankfully she'll be receiving another round of nerfs tomorrow, if I'm not mistaken. Although she should've never hit live like this in the first place really.
As you already implied, the simple fact that they thought that releasing a killer in such state (alongside a nerfed Myers, funnily enough) was okay is worrying enough in itself. No matter how many debacles and berating they get they simply never seem willing to self-introspect and improve.
-
@Brimp said:
So making every 115 killer a 110 in end game is no longer worth using?
Most 115 killers have speed-altering abilities/options.

that addon's value was largely overrated.
It was nice to see it in basekit as a compensation for nerfs, but you could deal with turrets just fine w/o it back then.
No you could not. Unless we have a different definition of the word "fine".
-
The casuals massively outnumber the tryhards in DBD. A ranked mode simply wouldn't work.
-
SBMM is functional, just poorly-designed.
-
2016. You're welcome.
-
Yes, yes DSP, it's never your fault if you lose. It simply isn't even conceivable.
-
@SpringMyTrap said:
There's not much they can do about that except making him harder enough to not be a balance issue in the skill level they balance for.
Though either way I disagree that blight (or other similar S tiers) are truly choking or bottlenecking dbd.
They arent even remotely as easy and accessible as killers like Krasue or Kaneki.
I can't help but notice that all these weird pallet changes and systems buffing survivors happened in a cascade right when these two showed up.
There is a lot they can do. Not giving him 5 (FIVE) basekit tokens for his rushes would be a good idea, for starters.
-
We are the playtesters. BHVR game designers' job is to throw darts and see what happens.
-
The main point he made was that lots of killers with low pick rates have those low pick rates because they require much more effort compared to other killers who give the same result.
Pseudointellectual garbage. Low pick rate killers have low pick rate because the bulk of the playerbase doesn't vibe with them one way or another, that's all there is to it. There are countless counterexamples of such analysis.

an offscreen teleport maybe?
Or just an incremental haste effect when he's not in chase/is Undetectable. Buffing his mobility when not in chase always was the perfect buff for him but instead they go for a thematically-unfit clunky Chucky's dash attack variant.

I really wish the game could have powers work differently when a controller is used.
Mouse and keyboard players really don’t need the spit to auto-aim, but controller players absolutely should have some amount of auto aim, because trying to aim that tiny projectile with a controller is a horrible experience.
Go play Apex if you want free crutches for using a controller in a first-person game.
-
Asylum always was "too much". It's baffling that nothing has been done about it, still.
-
@SpringMyTrap said:
kaneki sold so well they realized there's no point in making killers require skill to use so that casual andies can just pay money and "have fun".
Stop with this stupid argument already. Krasue doesn't even require actual money to be purchased.
-
Yes, we know. There's been a few threads about it already since release.
-
Well said fellow kil- I mean DBD mains!
-
BHVR needs some fresh blood replacement to their game design team. Risky move but at this point it is safe to say that this is a risk worth taking. Current game designers have clearly lost the plot.
-
It wasn't "clunky", it was correctly adjusted, unlike the abomination that they released yesterday.
-
It still is 16% max compared to the old 19% but yeah, this rework got almost fully reverted at this point which is pretty funny.
-
Meh. Quickly becomes way too monotonous and repetitive due to being such an autopilot killer. There's no room for creativity with this killer.
-
@WalterBlack said:
Having only played as her she definitely seems a little overtuned. Maybe give it a few more days for people to figure out counterplay, but from where I stand, seems like there's very little.
We already know the "counterplay"; having an uninfected surv take hits for infected survivors. That's it.
-
Ghoul 2.0. Those devs simply never learn, never improve, never understand.
-
What, you don't like when strong auto pilot killers get released on PTB only to get buffed on live?
-
@Jacknalls_Paw said:
I really don't understand what they were thinking when they decided to buff further a killer who was already strong in PTB, this is totally out of touch.
The game is nearly a decade old. It's beyond being "out of touch" at this point. These devs never seem to improve. If they (luckily) release a good balance patch you can always bet that the next 5 ones will be horrendous.

wdym? It's so easy to 4k
He either had a rough match and can't be honest with himself or is simply baiting.
-
Rush gens. There's genuinely very little you can do in chases.
-
Low ping doesn't help much either against killers with high ping.
-
Otz and his equally-clueless fanboys aren't "everyone". Plenty of people quickly realized how strong she was on PTB. It sadly seems that BHVR keep listening to the wrong crowd these days. Or maybe they decided to turbo buff her out of pure personal conviction, not sure which one is worse, honestly.
-
This patch went from overly surv-sided to overly killer-sided. These devs are so good at their craft, ain't they.
-
They changed it to be automatic (when not moving). Probably caused issues with Tenacity.
-
Can't believe they straight up buffed Krasue. The design team of this game is just so clueless. Yet another DCfest of a killer for the next incoming months, joy.
-
@SkeletonDance said:
If you're very good at skill checks, then yeah sure.
More than just "very good". You need superhuman abilities to make it work as well as you would with SO, really.
-
@ReverseVelocity said:
You can't wait like 12 hours?
To be honest, the change to yellow bottle did barely anything. If you dislike going against Clown now then you still will in 12 hours.
-
whereas Spirit has to rely on audio
Or visuals (of blood, grass etc). Or Cherry Blossom.
-
Yeah, in 2027.

Which is basically not "auti aim", because true auto-aim would HELP me hit my target, which this is not. So why call it auto-aim?
Because even auto-aims are spaghetti-coded in this game. 😌
