Oh do please go on about your lack of knowledge on the topic…
Does this mean humping survivors on the ground is also sexual assault then?

I am not your bestie. And even if I wouldn't play survivor enough I would know as killer which loop is good or what is not a loop.
And you see? This is the problem. That on the picture is not a loop. It is a filler basicly, so it is not a deadzone there. Near to that pallet there are loops. Also, the hit is not guaranteed, since there is that pallet. If the survivor plays well, they can stun the killer, or just use to get some distance. But definitly able to waste a few more seconds of the killer, which are counts.
What you basicly say that every single tile should be there with a safe or godpallet, and you should be able to loop the killer anywhere. Yeah, that would be a grate game for sure…
I literally cannot think any map which are killer sided. Sure, there are maps which not as good as a survivor, but that is the point. You have to use your brain and resources (pallets and windows) to win chases (in the future too, not only that one).
And yes. You can easily win a game in 3v1 with 3, especially 2 gens left. You 3genned yourself? Yeah then maybe not. But it is not a small mistake. But a game winnable even in 2v1 with 1 gen left. Yes, it is not easy. Yes, it is harder agains some killers. But declaring that 3v1 with 2 gens left is unwinnable clearly shows that you have to get better, and it is not the map's fault or the "OPness" of the killers
Are you joking? That loop is 100% a hit no matter what. "I cannot think any map which are killer sided". Lol okay
-
Watch them add bots for 2v8
-
If it brings them easy wins, they will keep doing it. In the event queue, it's even easier to do because most survivors are playing casually or just give up
-
It could be a setting in the ini like when people used to change vsync and fps cap manually.

Have you tried hitting something with a snowball, as killer? Did you know killer snowballs fly in random directions, so it’s near impossible to hit something with a killer snowball unless the killer is like super close?
How are killers expected to have fun with snowballs, when the killer snowballs are purposely made horrible?
Meanwhile, survivor snowballs are so accurate that I can hit a moving snowman, while I’m running, from a very decent range.
Yawn
Finding excuses even for snowballs. I aim when I'm close

So this oft repeated tale i'v heard that the game used to be so survivor sided that most killers stopped playing is not true?
It depends on what years we're talking about. 2016-2018? True. When I started playing in 2019 queues were massive on both sides depending on the time of the day (killer morning-afternoon, survivor evening-night).

boohoo….. slugger for 4 minutes is so bad but stalling game for 20 minutes by hiding with other surv is interactive and so fun?? XD you basically created that problem with this attitude
Acting like slugging and getting picked up over and over doesn't drag out the game.

+10 seconds when old Pop used to buy you 20...
Healing perks nerfed? Botany was buffed that patch, which you should use with Self-Care anyways. Pharmacy also got buffed, and WGLF got reworked for the better.
DS got nerfed to 3 seconds, and was still a meta perks. Then the devs decided to make it 4 seconds and it is still an S tier perk.
Prove Thyself and Buckle Up weren't even touched that patch,. MFT didn't even exist at that time, what are you talking about?
And if you think that OTR isn't a problematic perk, might as well make Resurgence give 100% healing progression, and Second Wind activate instantly, since OTR is also a free health state after a hook.
Also, for this conversation, I suggest reading the patch notes of 6.1.0, you can find it in the wiki:

I'm not asking whether it's reportable or not. I don't think that game "mechanics" like this should be possible when they are reportable and some even bannable. You would think that as a Dev you would want to prevent this specific type of grieving from happening in the first place, instead of making it so that players can report it. Like how hard is it to make a survivor with crows lose collision?
Could be even less tbh. There's no reason to bodyblock a player for that long.
-
High ping killers getting rewarded with bs hits is also a major fun killer.
-
It's been like this for years and it won't get better. Survivors are fodder in public games.

Why?
Note: I almost always give hatch or gate. But the whole '3K is a win' isn't official, otherwise nobody would sit on hatch gloating or BM in postgame because they got away.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3858535#Comment_3858535
In the same vein, hiding for the hatch is unnecessary.
Killer role is designed to kill. Survivor role is designed to survive. A dumb hiding standoff stalemate is the fault of both parties.
Again - the fact that people will sit on hatch or in the gates to force the killer watch them leave shows that clearly survivors don't consider 3k a loss - otherwise why gloat?
For someone who always gives hatch, you seem quite upset about 3ks.
-
I thought killers didn't like it when survivors give up? If the killer wants the 4k he has to work for it.
-
I legit have only seen a handful of killers/survivors in the whole event interacting with the event stuff and that's when they're both doing it. Everyone else just plays normally or super sweaty. At certain hours games become so miserable, especially in solo queue.
-
Because as long as you can bring every kind of setup in the casual mode queue to make the other side miserable it will happen. Also your opponent/s will probably be indeed casuals so it's a stomp.

Why is it ok for survivors to do their objective but when killers do theirs suddenly the "community" makes up a bunch of rules and fun suddenly becomes a factor? Suddenly playing the objective becomes "toxic".
What do you call this phenomenon? Other than massive hypocrisy, that is.
actually wrong. Billion of videos about "ultra toxic genrushing swf" across the years. Genrushing? toxic. Looping? toxic. Saving teammates? Toxic. Using perks? Crutch perk abusers. So let's not be hypocritical. Killers complaining about survivors cranking the gens too fast or using 10000 "second chance" perks still happens now.
-
You're not wrong. Survivors wasting a lot of time is what you want as Killer. By the time they start actually working on gens, you'll have a good amount of hooks already.
-
Posting a video with a 4ks at 5 gens to prove that thrill nerf was unjustified. But survivors are the entitled babies right?
-
Yet another killer biased bait thread
-
It will probably stay for the entire holiday season so another miserable event for survivors.

The fact you are complaing about Hex Thrill Of The Hunt shows the entitlement of the survivor community. It's one of the most useless killer perks in the game…
Making people waste 46 seconds to cleanse one totem is useless?

2018 DBD material thread
-
You know it's kinda crazy that killer players still use the survivor rulebook gag after all these years. Living rent free in your heads.
-
I mean survivor skill doesn't really matter when BHVR made it so gens can go fast af. Camp the safe pallets and that alone wastes so much time.
-
Dbd players really pretend nurse is some kind of "only geniuses can play this character" thing.
-
Bps bonus is even lower than last time (always 400%). Now you have 150% but turbo gens. So boring having to play survivor all times.
-
@Vishlumbra said:
This mode was created to satisfy survivors, I don’t know what they were thinking when they created those perks, unlimited pallets, heals in 1 second, unlimited unbreakable etc.
Killers are not queueing because is a dumbed version of the game, limiting every single strat, perk and option a killer has. It’s a dog chasing sports car simulator.
"No one is queueing as killer" loooool
-
I only play killer in the first hours of the game mode release because you usually get a good teammate. Then everyone switches to duo or survivor.
There are a lot of newbie killers in my survivors matches as well.
-
They're basically the same. Played a dozen games as killer yesterday then switched to survivor because queues are over 15 mins.
-
Killer queues are still over 10 mins so despite the "genrushing problem", there are not enough survivors.
-
Meanwhile deathslinger just has a reloading speed buff lol
-
It won't. No game will except maybe DBD 2 (lmao).
Also F13th was long "dead" before the lawsuit happened. That was the last straw.
-
It's always the same narrative. "Killer mains have been oppressed by the evil survivor mains since the dawn of DBD".

It's not 1 to 1 though. A 40% escape rate is per survivor, and there are 4 survivors in a match. You can still lose (you got sacrificed so your escape rate went down) but the other 3 survivors win resulting in a killer loss.
What does that have to do with what I said. If bhvr tomorrow released 60% escape rate and 40% kill rate people would be screaming survivor sided game at the top of their lungs (they already do but that's besides the point) and there would be no mental gymnastics to say the stats are fake, manipulated, "that's not what they're really say bro" or whatever. People pretend Dbd's still in its 2018 balance state.
-
If the stats were reversed (60% escape rate and 40% kill rate) everyone would be losing their #########. No ifs or buts arguments.
-
The devs have this design phylosophy of creating 20 addons per killer power which is just too much. Originally some killers had way less addons than others and they should do that instead of coming up with weird/useless stuff just to fill rarity spots. Few addons that are good but not powercreeps.
-
Bnp has been nerfed like 1000 times already. And weaving spiders is a killer perk.
-
It's just your typical excuse that some killers use when they lose. It used to work years ago but now the killer will win most of his games in pubs.

how the hell did scout have the lowest pick rate. That wall hacking it provided was egregiously strong.
The problem was it barely gave you points if you wanted to use it properly. Doing nothing but staring at the killers in a building.

You don't know what high MMR is. You can still lose matches and get draws all the time, and still face that level, because the speed at which you get away from those teams, through MMR, is inconsistent and stupid. High MMR killer is settling for 1k or draw nearly every time, unless you have the perfect set of circumstances align. "They weren't SWF, didn't have good rng on loops, didn't bring instaheals or BNP, AND weren't quick on gens? Okay, maybe now I can maybe go for hooks." It's like that, or rather, it still won't work out unless you had a build that capitalized on the pressure they gave you as well. Got quick downs but not gen defence? They escape. Brought gen defence but nothing to end chases faster? They escape. It's just a matter of if it's 2 survivors escaping or 4.
"You don't know what high mmr is, only I do!"
You really need to stop worrying about some hidden number that apparently only gets you these ultra mega good survivors every match that are impossible to kill.

It's not a case of "disliking opposition" - it's a case of feeling like you have zero chance to win to begin with
Again if you're in "High MMR", then you're winning a lot of games with 3/4ks. Go for 2 kills at maximum, spread hooks against chiller survivors if you care about fun. Or play strong killers with busted loadouts…
-
I really don't understand this. You're winning matches over and over so the game puts you against teams that are also trying to win with every tool they have but you don't like it if there's opposition?

Why don't you 1) try playing both sides; and 2) try making your own arguments? If you're having such a miserable time playing the event as survivor, then why not switch to killer if it's so easy to win?
Your clever counter-argument makes no sense at all, by the way. The Void doesn't provide any advantage to the killer to proactively enter. Killers only need to enter the Void to chase survivors. That's not a disadvantage to the survivor team, because the person is being already being chased anyway - that player doesn't really have an alternative choice to be doing gens at that time, do they? Survivors use the Void as an escape route and line of sight breaker when they see the killer coming. Killer either has to 1) break off chase and give the survivor a free escape, or enter the Void and try to figure out where the survivor went, which wastes more time for the killer. Please explain where the Void is helping the Killer.
I play both sides and I know how advantageous the Void can be when I play as survivor. If you're finding it to be a death trap, then why don't you just not go into it at all? You can always just stay in the main map and use the loops/pallets/windows that are normally available to you.
My post was a mockup of yours with how killer biased it reeked. If I say I play both sides, are you going to respond that I play killer only at low MMR?
You can enter the void to grab haunts and get to the other side quickly.
And what do you think the majority of players are doing now? Not going in the void and playing like a normal match.
-
Anyone who is claiming that the event is "survivor-sided" clearly does not actually play as survivor. If it's so survivor-sided, why don't you try to play as survivor and show us some of your gameplay of you stomping killer players?
As others have mentioned, survivor going into the Void is a HUGE waste of time for very little reward (a very mediocre smoke bomb that blinds the survivors too). The longer the survivor spends in the Void, the more time killers can kill my teammates without having to worry about generators being done because they know I'm in the Void.
For killers, the Void can be very easily abused and based on my survivor matches it often is. Killers can enter the Void with no downside, and they can easily gain distance on survivors if they enter the portals that the Void provides. Good killers have learned how to abuse the Void realm and haunts projectiles end chases extremely fast. The current meta seems to be to tunnel one survivor out of the game and then use haunts to quickly down and slug the survivor team for the easy 4k.

Are you going to complain about lithe and deja vu next?

Then they deserve no right to complain about killers if they are going to play like that.
They should be considered the killers accomplice because them playing like that is helping the killer win.
Unfortunately, it's like that. They will also help the killer directly by not unhooking, blowing up gens and ratting out teammates so they can get hatch. I can count on my hand the decent solo queue teams I see per game session and suddenly the game is not so miserable.
