I mean it's better than killers getting flashlight blinded lol. At least you can kinda see. It's part of his power tho.

They’re very different perks. B&c is Meta and wglf is a trash perk. But I agree
I'm not sure about BBQ being meta. It's definitely a lot better than WGLF, but there are way better killer perks. Like @GoodBoyKaru said tho, BP buffs are way overdue.

BHVR: we hear you. Next patch we will add Boon: Dead Hard

I thought you were referencing D&D alignment charts for perks. Lol. I’m too old. Started playing first edition when I was a young teen. Some things just stick with you I guess.
You aren't the only one. I was ready to see DS, DH and CoH in chaotic evil lol

Nah, if it was the same, it wouldn't trigger the vocal community as hard and long as it did... Um... Still does?
It's just a variation of the same issue. Nothing was fixed.

And that's an issue lol

I just want the distance removed tbh. I dont care if they time a DH to dodge a ranged attack but it shouldn't be used on every loop to correct a mistake or when I outplay you to just counter it by a perk.
I just want the distance removed tbh
I was thinking this. It would still be a decent perk.

Public MMR / Ladder is good in a game that is balanced. Right now, in dbd :
- You cannot chose your add-ons as killer, the web is random
- You cannot chose the map offerings you want to buy. Let's say I want to play on glenvale, I have to lvl up until I can get ONE offering. That's not acceptable in a game with a ladder. Meanwhile, cheaters can have an unlimited amount of map offering.
- RNG totems, gens, pallets location.
I'll give you an example. Let's say I want to push my mmr as high as possible on nurse. I need to play with the best add-ons and map offerings, that means I have to grind BP on another killer to buy the best of them for my nurse. Does that seem healthy for the game ?
Also, if you want a truly fair MMR matchmaking, you have to calculate survivor mmr at the end of the match as a whole not individual. Otherwise survivors would manipulate their behavior, for exemple extending the game so that they can get more chase / altruistic mmr points instead of getting out immediately at the expense of another survivor.
Map offerings have always struck me as odd and I feel like they shouldn't exist. I sometimes feel like they're there just to add more junk to the bloodweb.
As for RNG of stuff, I cannot think of anything that would serve as a reliable fix that wouldn't give either side an advantage. The most I can say is that totem spawns should never be in plain view. An amount of RNG is always going to be present in the game and not a whole lot can be done about it.
Addons are another aspect of RNG, but survivors also have their items. Theoretically, the 2 are supposed to balance out, but again, I cannot think of a fix for those outside of changing core parts of the game.
Also, if you want a truly fair MMR matchmaking, you have to calculate survivor mmr at the end of the match as a whole not individual.
I thought about this, but I cannot figure out how the system would determine the MMR without it once again being based on escapes and kills.
Otherwise survivors would manipulate their behavior, for exemple extending the game so that they can get more chase / altruistic mmr points instead of getting out immediately at the expense of another survivor.
If they want to risk getting killed, that's fine. Note that farming to a degree already happens currently. Also, points are still capped. However, the timer of the trial probably could be paused after a certain point.
Do you realize how easy it is to manipulate this ? I can proxy camp any time with my nurse / blight to avoid this.
This is why:
- Decrease the points received for killing and reward more for hooking and damaging survivors killers have yet to hook and damage. Ultimately the total points should remain approximately the same while also accounting for slugging.
So you punish every early snowball build. Look at this Negoose fast death build. Do you think he deserved less mmr ? I would say that if you die very fast as a team that means you messed up a LOT. Stall is always good for survivors (healing, harassing gens), if they can't do it it means they are not that good.
The killer gets more MMR. They are not punished. I realize there is a misinterpretation in that sentence due to a missing word so I've fixed it.

I’m sorry but if there’s one thing this game doesn’t need right now it’s faster heals.
You can already stack med-kits with Boons and perks such as Botany Knowledge, Resilience ect leading to incredibly fast, infinite self heals
Fully healing shouldn’t really be a thing you’re able to do mid chase, whilst looping a killer, it should be something you do in a safe spot that takes time and often others to help you do it, this is why Circle of Healing is considered so powerful right now. Repeatedly stopping to heal in front of the killer should be punished so that delay is necessary
I wasn't suggesting faster heals. I was addressing an issue in which your character stops moving but is unable to heal as well as healing another survivor and randomly being forced to stop.

Right, but that's why I said it would be something like "no scoring events". If Hag is placing traps that still earns her points, for instance, at least until she hits the cap on the category.
Also usually you could try and find the hatch yourself, even with Hag you could hypothetically crouch walk to the trap and immediately escape if it's open. I'm not sure what was going on in the match you described but it's really weird to have it go for 30 minutes if the survivor is actually trying to get out the open hatch.
Not every killer has a power that passively gives them points.
I snooped around for the hatch a bit initially, but later resorted to stealthing by the exit gate to attempt to get it open when the hatch closed. I'm assuming what happened was that she either found the hatch and decided to not close it due to it being a weird spot so I couldn't open the exit gate or she never found it.
Either way, a killer shouldn't have to worry about "Oh no it's been X minutes since I got some points! Better go break something instead of searching for the survivor."

I don’t necessarily have a problem with a concede option being available under certain circumstances.
Either way though I’d love to see the game automatically start endgame collapse if no scoring events happen after five minutes. Basically if nothing substantive happens for five minutes it’s probably either an afk hacker the killer can’t damage, or a killer bodyblocking the last living survivor and preventing the collapse from starting, or two survivors hiding in random remote lockers or shrubs and the killer can’t find them, etc. Basically starting endgame collapse automatically after a while of no action gets around all those sorts of stalled games.
This is kinda awkward though since if you end up in a situation where the killer gets 3 survivors early, you HAVE to stealth around and avoid the killer. I was in a match for half an hour because I was hoping Hag would close the hatch and power the exit gate but that never happened. She eventually did find me but that was after like a 15 min lull.
-
The killer should be able to open the exit gate regardless of whether they are powered or not X minutes into the trial.
-
Just hit Iri 1. This doesn't feel like an accomplishment playing against killers that don't chase for more than 5 seconds and can't down anyone until the exit gates are powered.
I just wanna know how good I actually am and things to improve on.
