  • Nerf this perk I never heard of that is ok. When I saw discussion on being upset the killer made your light bulbs worthless I thought you were talking about the pentacle of perks, Franklins. They cannot blind you if they have nothing to do it with.

I would unironically love Jaws, even if you had to play them only on a Jaws map.

People say that Jaws would get boring fast, but like…Chucky didn't really last that long either despite being the only killer in existence for like, the entire month he first came out.

I think it's OK for some killers to just be played for a round or 2 per session and not be Mained.

Jaws could be a burrower on normal maps as a way to move him into the DBD world. I agree Jaws would be fun.

  • Give a variety of basekit bp bonuses plus removing depipping. Add weekend bloodnanza and that would be nice.

  • I have only ran into not enjoyable Bubbas. They play in the manner that many find not fun. So not good opinion for the Killer.

  • Oni should have giant chopsticks instead of the sword.

  • TAG:

1v1 you play both sides of the matchup. There would be custom maps made for this. You could get 2 chances and longest survival time wins. (Add this to custom maps too)

  • The only time it was very difficult was a knight and theee ridiculously close gens. The gens were way too close in this specific scenario. Yes we made the 3 gen occur, but the Knight also did the 3 gen method of always being around those gens from the beginning.

Long story short the Knight can 3 gen easy still with certain conditions. This is one case so not an over encompassing one. I would say the big problem is still highly mobile Killers as they throw out any meaningful balance options.

  • It is a shame that acts that use to be funny are now perceived to be horrendous. Gaming has always been a fun escape. The BMing was just perceived as either jokes or the equivalence of trash talk/gloating. It was harmless. It is sad that now many perceive it as despicable.

Also yes Chucky and Ghostface players usually are the worse that I have ran into. The ones that have been the sweatiest goes to Weskers and Nurses.

For basically anything you do in the game someone will call it toxic. I've been called toxic for getting a pallet stun and playing as Wraith, among other things. When it's something as ridiculous as those things I have to just roll my eyes

YOU PLAY WRAITH!?!? I sense you earned every dip dip dip you got.

Ok he is fun to play sometimes.

  • This is true I do stay away from even looking at cosmetics of characters I do not have enough points into.

  • They could have some nice perk potential.

The notion of the Killer being able to leave through the gate to surrender makes me chuckle. Just peace out and walk off xD

Can't say this bothers me enough personally. If the gates open it is only 2 minutes, and I tend to wave goodbye with m1s, m2 spam or spins... not just for the chatless console version of "GG", but also for my own mental game.

Even vs. a teabagger doing dumb stuff like playing chicken and edge towards them one step at time, or shaking your head and pretending to get mad before pushing them out does wonders for keeping your own games fun. It's especially fun with someone like Bubba, Demogorgon, or Pig who can actually act to degree.

I think there is something to be said for killer emotes here would improve these kind of issues.

I imagine a unique walk of shame animation for this. Maybe even a custom sob noise for each Killer.

  • It is great news they finally did this. I agree the only reason someone would say otherwise is just looking to be noticed. Case in point the content creator made that video knowing it was a controversial take. It gets views. If they wanted a serious game they would play one with a serious ranked mode. Even in DBD they could be reaching out to teams if they mean business.

  • Congrats!!!

Now we wait for his revamp for the fated battle

    Freddy vs. Jason

You know what really annoyed me about the Christmas outfits? You could only complete them after Christmas, because the necessary last page of the Event Tome only became available after Christmas.

What's the point of dressing Jeff up as Santa when Christmas is already over??

The real question is what’s the point of dressing Jeff as anything other than Santa?

Think of the hilarious chat messages that you could send.

  • I like it. When I have a bad game they look and go ahhhh it’s just someone learning the game. Then it is only I who ridicules me.

  • I would regret not getting the AOT skin but I never got the opportunity to get it.

Survivors crouching after stunning you or winning the match essentially is teabagging. I understand it's subjective. But i think a lot of players see it this way.

Thank you for clarifying. I was like how is this guy getting his model pulled over and thrown on the floor at the exit gates. Bugs? Hacking? That was some horrible bad luck lol.

I personally laugh at interactions in game. I wish you the best in your games. Laugh more and worry less is my positive constructive input.

I wasn't really accusing, but i am assuming/believing that every survivor that teabags at exit gate is a sign of disrespect. I am explaining why some players like me will act the way they do, so that hopefully you come to the understanding that the issue lies with the game and not the players, which you can't change (well, some of them anyway. others might change their behaviour based on others opinions) That's my attempt at being constructive.

Sorry to say but i feel that i am being perfectly reasonable. I think about this a lot. Because this discussions comes up constantly on these forums when it comes to things like tunnelling and camping.

Yeah, maybe this is not a good discussion for constructive feedback but it's the only post i saw about this game mode. Mods might just merge discussions anyway if i started a new one.

How are they teabagging? I have seen like maybe 1 survivor tea bag before, but I didn’t think it was possible to do that to the Killer.

This was a great April Fools as it fooled quite a few (myself included) to think this was an April Fool, when it actually was true!

Although now I'm starting to want a giant killer now.

    Maybe a Gojira clone.

  • This sounds like a very distinct issue.

I just find it very unlikely. Teabagging in video games is commonly used to disrespect people. It's why people started doing it i believe. If people use it to express otherwise, i think that's a bad way to do it (though i understand this game has extremely limited ways to express yourself, which i think causes people to commonly misread other people's intention which is what it is unfortunately)

I believe the game is supposed to be fun, i go into it with the intention of having fun. When i encounter something that makes me feel bad, get in the way of my fun, i will want to avoid it.

I don't mean for this to be an us vs them thing, i despise those kind of posts on these forums, i find them to be unfriendly.

To clear any confusion, i don't think survivors are the only ones who can be disrespectful, killers absolutely can and they do.

If they are crouching then standing in the exit gates they are not bagging. They are dancing clearly.

  • Adding content to an existing model can be quite fast. Building the entire structure from nothing would take time.

Skull Merchant makes obscene amounts of Deviousness points because she gets points for every single itty bitty thing her power does. Set a drone, points. Scan a survivor, points. Hit a survivor after scan, points. Recall a drone, points. Points points points points, she is showered in points. It's like if Wraith got points for going invisible every time.

Use distressing with Ole Wraith and be amazed by how fast you max devious.

  • I agree with the requirement to light some hexes similar to the two can play. Having certain ones lit from the beginning is still fine. It would make hunting totems a thing many do earlier. This as mentioned would be a secondary objective or at least something that if left unchecked would be not good. It also would boost the use of some perks like Gunslingers that exposes those who cleanse totems.

  • I’m so glad I just went up a grade and can’t depip. Wish they could implement the removal of depipping early tho.

  • I feel they should give survivors a minimum bp. Not an additional amount just a if you score under or equal you get at least this amount. Ad mentioned the Killer gets a lot more even when they get rolled.

  • I saw the title and agree without reading. Boons are for some odd reason fun to me to use. I also do not think they are as bad as some think.

  • This is not the way. This also would bring the age of slugging. The reason the killers tunnel is for the balance be shifted in their favor. Chasing the same person over and over, even the weak looper, would take too much time and not sway the game. The result would be slugging. Then this also brings back camping in a new form.

I have touched on this subject and placing the first hook into a jail or timeout might work. This would be for first hooks and only if within X amount of game time, hooks, or gens completed met the criteria. This would ensure the survivor gets to play a longer match and the gen speed could be slowed for the Killer without needing to remove a player immediately. Opinions are welcomed.

  • Another alternative that could help with slowing the game could be the first hook seals off the player. (This could have a time limit set to no make games be too long also) Think of it as the player is placed in jail and they then must wait for either a time limit or for X amount of others to be hooked as well. (Or X amount of gens completed) This would remove quick outs for survivors and still provide a way to slow the game down for killers without the need of perks.

This is just one way that could improve the game experience. I also believe survivors should get a minimum bp. That is due to as a killer you will get a decent amount even from getting stomped but a tunneled survivor could get close to nothing. One quick incentive and an easy fix as options.

  • If I see flashlights I just take franklins

  • It definitely feels even worse on the survivor side. I feel like they could at the least add a minimum bp. This could especially help in those matches that you are eliminated early.

On the killer side I agree that the bp gains for each killer could use a rework to fit their play style.

  • Conspiracy theory incoming!!!!!!

They are the ones selling the hacking software. That is why the known streamers are not being brought to court or sites being shut down.

My actual thought is that there is just a ton of reports and especially when needing to watch a video it takes time.

  • politically correct, just something that each of them might feel is offensive. I guess a better way would be something taboo to each survivor.

A fun example would be she hits Feng by saying Sable is better. Thus the loss of health state by utter disbelief from Feng.

  • I like to think she is saying something not pc and the survivors cannot handle it.

  • I can see how beginners would benefit more from the aura vanishes on chase than maintaining the aura. It would help with getting a player to look at their surroundings and have a plan ready for execution. It would show the spots to run to and then exercise their brain to remember that path. Then when the time comes that they want to run a different perk they could transition easier away from using it.

That being said I do not feel like it needs changing. If it did I can see a positive is all.

  • It is looking like the OP might of been validated.

  • It would be nice to implement a you cannot attempt the self unhook without certain parameters. Those of course being wicked in basement, deliverance, having a minimal percent chance of unhooking at X%, face camp meter, and final chance window before hook stage 2. (Also the in event of every survivor is hooked or downed)

These could bring a valid excuse to any attempt to unhook and mostly remove the negative intentions. Missing skill shots on stage two is an unavoidable aspect though as it is useful in situations to miss them. (Providing hatch at an advantageous time)

  • They could adjust the numbers for all the perks based on each killer. The core reason would be high or low mobility, possibly also ranged. The inherent flaw that is the mobility for the high tier killers would still remain.

  • The one positive takeaway I see is they are implementing this change with two thoughts in mind. The first is that if slugging becomes the new way then they are removing the killer that was made for it. The second being that the killer needed changes anyway.

  • To slug or not to slug? This will not be a question asked it will just be to slug.

  • It also does not help that either from natural deduction, or influenced by top killers, that tunneling is the first method used by new killers. So the thing that is not perceived to be good by many is often there from the start for killer players.

  • I dislike the 3 times alone and the in the same match makes it worse. I did complete this via pallet sliding and windows. That does not change that it is a terrible task. They should at least remove the in one trial part.

  • On survivor I can run anything or nothing and it does not matter too much. It has been similar to what was stated earlier that the big difference is what kind of player is the other survivors. If they are trying it’s a good time. If they are trolls or quitters it makes the trial challenging to say the least.

On killer once you hit that sweet spot in mmr you will be shown why the slowdown perks are needed. You also will be taunted for losing or winning there lol. It feels like something needs to be done to naturally slow the game and then scale back the slowdown perks to bring a “better” “balance”.

  • I too have done the spread the points for all as killer. I like to scare them at first and make it seem real this to get the chase points. Then the wackiness ensues. It is truly enjoyable to do. The one negative is you will run into some players that do not realize what you are doing and say some horrible things to you in chat. That is only a few so mostly it is just enjoyable. My favorite to do this with is Mikey.

  • It also informs you that your left over will be converted to bp. It doesn’t state the conversion rate but something instead of nothing is always good lol.

  • Nerf/Rework: Nurse, Blight, and to a lesser degree Wesker.

Hyper mobility is unhealthy for a game. These killers make balance a nightmare as if you do something to harm them it harms all the lower tier killers more. In the opposite if you do something to help the lower tier it just makes them even stronger.

    Buff: Freddy

His powers should be both available at the very least. Having to choose between two powers that do not sway the game in your favor a ton is odd. I agree with what was said about they had unlimited potential for him and went with crap trap and make you look silly pallet. Keep the basis of bring them to dream world but give him a reason to be called the nightmare.

  • A good method for validating how healthy/unhealthy the revised perk will be will be done in the beta realm. Most likely a lot of people will test it out to its limits. The notable streamers will make content pieces around it most likely. Then further, if needed adjustments could be made. This is just one positive step being made to the game.

  • I have seen the issue of the dc and give up occurring more lately and it does not matter who I play. My guess is the players who do this were affected by a previous match and brought that bad vibe into their next. It’s unfortunate but it happens.
