  • If not for the fee info swf would get, controlling crows to give false info to the killer would be hilarious.

  • When I play survivor I am unfortunately the one that gets found first quite often. I now am pretty decent at evading in chases. I still get caught as is the point of the game. The key takeaway I have seen that can trigger the tunnel or remove it is if your teammates punish the camping/tunneling killer. If they run come full force with no plan on distracting/stunning the killer then why would they go for the healthy possible down over the hurt/loud guaranteed down. It is a bit unfortunate to say but it really comes down to how your team plays. I know this can be rough in soloq but this is the game.

  • Similar to what was already said you shouldn’t punish the killer for their strategy. Though I completely agree with the make it worth your time to stick around and spectate. If they added a bp gain for watching the match to the end or even a set amount per time you watch, in the case of your other friend is eliminated and you both are ready to move on. This could give you peace knowing at least you aren’t just losing time waiting for your friend.

  • From the killer side I am always laughing and enjoying the experience. I do feel the third person view is the strongest part of his kit.

From the survivor side because of the different view he had I am still adapting to a different play style to combat him. I think he has a good chance to win or lose at the moment.

  • I believe the point is that you should not have to bring this anti-slug perks. Also if they are a newer player and perks are the answer they may not even have access to them.

I believe the game should do a similar end sequence if all survivors are down and cannot get up as to when the final survivor is put on a hook. This way it takes the purposeful time waste away. That way if it is a players tactic to down all players they are not penalized for their chosen play style. The toxic player that just lets them sit there loses a way to waste people’s time.

  • The cake is a lie!

  • This is a great mindset to have while playing. I think also trying to blame the developers for players behavior is wrong. Each player will bring their style of play to the game. I think you brought that thought out quite well. This can be frustrating if you get a player with a different mindset than your own, but taking away options from players is also not the way to go. It would make the game that gives freedom of choice limitations. Changing how you let it affect you I think is the best option.

  • I agree it is almost a guaranteed way to get more downs for the killer because of how many people will just rush to unhook. This is the reason for the method of play. Tunneling also is a strat that many use since it quickly removes a survivor making the game a lot more manageable.

I preface this last part by saying I am usually on the survivor side. I did not realize that the tunneling was considered bad by many. I get why the targeted person dislikes it but you can learn and adapt.

  • I take it back. As long as the 4 survivors are simply trying there is not enough time to stop them with most killers.

One good chase and 3 gens down. Definitely looks like they should buff survivors right.

  • I just want some different emotes. This could be for both sides too.

To add on to the hype I am excited for the changes. I will keep playing on both the sides and enjoy. Keep up the work on the game trying to fix things to fit everyone’s expectations is incredibly hard.

  • I read the initial post and was like “well at least some people are getting paired to their level”. I have from the start got paired with the high level survivors. TBH it is kinda fun.

  • I feel bad for all those who loved this old trickster version. I tried this new version as my first time playing the character. That is the last time I will play trickster.

  • This has merit. The way to be able to do this is by selecting your perks after the group is formed. Then you would ready up after assigning your perks.

As a side note for both sides on this topic. I enjoy being rewarded for prestiging a killer/survivor. The negative comes from being able to make super killers/survivors by merging all of the “best” perks into any killer/survivor. It takes away from what separates the characters. Maybe in the future rework each character to having set perks they get or just make all of them unique to each character could fix this as well. It just would take a lot of work.

  • Give me Spike from gremlins in a wintry Christmas town from the first film please.

  • I still enjoy getting the new maps themed with killer/survivor. I also agree with updating/fixing current maps. I can see how it’s tough to put resources into fixing maps which gains no monetary gain just respect from community. If they could dedicate a small amount to updating/fixing and maybe with their new releases of characters bring multiple maps that could be a decent in between.

  • I actually enjoy playing into the survivors that have the higher prestige. I learn more from people who play more which just helps me. I agree that some games I just want a chill match, but this is a multiplayer game so it is not just about me.

  • It could be there to make the person feel justified with their report. Ah there it is see I knew they were being a jerk that needed punishing. This also could be there to gauge how many people feel those play styles need an adjustment to help benefit the game.

  • Find the clues as a mini game mechanic could be fun. One perk would have to be Scooby Snacks.
