I couldn't care less, really. Generally i laugh when it happens, and a friend of mine likes to say the killer is celebrating.
I always thought it was a funny action too. Why do most go towards thinking things are with bad intentions?

The killer had to miss is a little rediculous and add on it’s 3 times on the same trial. I am not on high mmr and the killers almost never miss M1’s. I like the challenges that are meant to be accomplished from multiple runs but this one could be balanced out better by just letting it be accomplished through multiple trials rather than one.
-
Even adding a “mid game” objective could be a positive. This could be the survivors complete 2-3 gens then need to hook up the power cords. Have multiple spots that can lead to killer and survivors interacting that also can slow the game. This is the aspect that could help to slow survivors. The other could do something along the lines of either the entity needs to drain x amount of hook progression before being able to sacrifice a survivor. This could also be overlooked if other mid game is reached and vice versa.

The devs might not look to favorably to adjusting her when most of the data is skewed from players not playing out the game. If you want change play out the match to showcase how it is balanced incorrectly. This is showcased by revealing the kill rate and not batting an eye at it. They are aware of why the rate is high. We as a community need to showcase proper data to be analyzed rather than saturating it with dc’s and giving up on first hooks.
-
They are a special tribute to the mighty Blood Moon.
-
I have also noticed when bringing the beneficial for all offerings the killer side tends to go into ultra sweat mode. So I will not be unlocking that ability for them no ty.
-
I have had them dc at the start of game. They have dc’ed even when I do not use her power. Then there is the same thing others have said where some people just dc for the smallest things.
The way to enjoy her is the same as any other killer. Just play how you enjoy. It is a game that is meant for entertainment. The moment we result to moving into a battle of secret rules that others have to follow it will lose that entertaining value. Too often we forget that the rules for the game already exist and trying to force others to our own rules is selfish as it is meant to make only our experience better.

It would be nice if they either adjusted existing perks to include a bonus, bp or something else, from spreading hooks. It could be an opposite to say pain resonance that has only 4 uses instead you could get up to 4 of the bonuses. This could be used with multiple incentives to hopefully strike the fancy of most killers.
-
I too hope they extend the event. If we can get one extra weekend that would be great.
-
I have noticed in many games the male characters will be targeted. So if I feel up to practice looping I play as Cage.
-
It might be due to they have had too many times where they bring bps and killer just stomps them. I say this from experience.
-
I was lucky with the few soloq games I have played. I would get a decent group for about 4-5 games then get one that lets you die on your first hook. I can see why it would be frustrating for those who can only solo. Hopefully they start to at least bring in the quality of life changes like seeing perks and more communication methods like the ones the mobile has.
-
I too am confused. The title is misleading.
-
I have only played friendly killer games to allow max points for all. As I am strolling along dropping the blood into its spots I see gens lighting up like fireworks.
-
I thought Killer got 5 perks thanks to Sable.
-
She should be her own killer tho not a skin.
-
This is a huge disappointment. I wish they made these more so than the Iron Maiden ones.
-
This is a great option. P3 characters ha I would be happy to get mine to P1. The normal bp gain is horrendous for us new players.
-
It would be appreciated if they extend the event. As a newer player the increased bp is making it so I can get close to some of the builds others talk about. It also has got many of my friends to play.
-
That had been my experience too. The reason is usually it’s a 13 year old and they are killing the male characters and letting the female ones live.
-
This would be fun just wonder how it would hinder the game quality. Resources would be shifted to the weather and they have to make it work on the Switch.
-
If the gates were further a similar result could be gained with the fast Killers and only harm the M1 killers.
-
It might be a coincidence but every doctor I have came across was very try hard and toxic as well.
-
250BP that’s what I’m talking about!!!!!
-
The only mistake you made was letting a sore loser’s comment affect how you play. Having the intention to try to give each survivor a chance is a great way to play. This unfortunately will still lead, at times, to a negative response from both ones who lose and succeed. The best way is to just enjoy the game. You know you more than they do.
-
If it’s Stranger things there better be a Billy.
I am hoping for the Leprechaun.
-
It is odd that they buff the Huntress which did not need it. With that as the status quo they should add buffs to the others. If they felt the one ranged killer that was in a great state needed it then why not the others. My hope is they are using her as a test dummy to see if changes to her would have a large impact. If they are still healthy then they might be adjusted on the others.
-
If they are converted that would be great! If they aren’t I agree that it is still a good plan to make it so you do not have to complete every challenge.
-
I would expect more players on both sides to at least acknowledge why some bring the offerings that they do. An example a new player with their maybe p1 character brings the bps. They clearly are just trying to rack up points. They also were nice and brought the offering that benefits all. So why not tone down the play style in those moments. I have seen it on both sides and was surprised.
Mayhaps the challenges could have been angled more towards for fun play might be a reason?
-
If they do not want to change the down or upside of the perk I could see one change that would not hinder the game too much. They could drastically increase the bp gain. This would incentivize newer players who might be tunneled out often another way to gain bp. It is not a solve but it is an option.
Side note when I play killer and see either no mither or Invocation it’s a free win. That is why I personally identify it as a Killer perk.
-
If we could have a way to exchange unwanted offerings and add-ons for bp it could solve this issue as well.
-
Dredge
-
I would like the broken for a hook. This still makes your next down easy but not your next. It also cities in with the current level of the gen requirement reduction. The increase of the effect and maintain the perma broken would also work.
-
I only get gen rushers and game is done in record times. No one since the beginning has been trying for points.
-
Just think of the free bp I mean we should definitely have it be used as they think it is a good perk. I believe as a fellow kill…survivor player that it is completely useful and does not give a free win to the other side at all.
-
The bleed out button is a good idea in certain situations. In the event of all survivors are downed and there is no perks to get up available. In all the other situations there is a way to save the fallen teammate. If the option is available in other ways then there might be more early departures leaving the survivor team early. The programming could be adjusted so if a survivor bled out via button it was the same as a sacrifice. This too could lead to a slug meta though. So it is hard to find a fix.
-
I use all of these perk types except for the invocation. I especially enjoy the boons/hexes. I also love when others take the invocation perk when I am killer as it is the best 5th slot killer perk in the game.
-
This is not confusing at all. They trolled you by using pallet to get you down. Then used a lie to claim it was because you would use it. Not really much to it.
-
I am hoping they bring out more killers with interactive side objectives. The best example is Cenobite. I also enjoy the trap minigame from Pig. This gives more options to play for both sides.
-
I am one of those newer players and I do not have many bp boosting offerings. On top of that the killers have been more bloodthirsty and wiping my groups with minimal bp gain. This is most likely tied in with the tome sacrifice and kill achievements. Regardless, I am wary to use an offering just to be slaughtered and have minimal gains.
-
I scare em at first leading up to the 8 hooks. Then full bozo mode. I will pick em up and spin them as fast as my mouse will allow me. Try 360 no look strikes. Then mimic working the gens with them. Those fools think I am progressing the gen with them they never know.
-
What was your winrate leading up to the event time period? If you had been crushing it you could just of been moved into the more competitive mmr range. If you want to see more of that style play then by all means tunnel it up. If not then take a few L’s and settle into lower mmr and enjoy your matches more. Just a suggestion.
-
I like the hit and run technique paired with nurses calling. This gives you 2 options to hit.
The challenge I thought was gonna be rough is getting a killer to miss attacks on you.
-
The unfortunate side to that is the ones who are new and need the bp the most do not have Terrormisus. They also might not have many bps. The bonus is still nice though.
-
I sense a few more kill/death heavy games in the future thanks to the tier 4 tome with its sacrifice achievement.
Other than that the games have been enjoyable so far personally. I play chill killer for those sweet 8 hooks, only had 1 toxic group from this. Survivor side was surprisingly enjoyable. I only had one game where I got hooked once and was left to perish.
-
I am glad it only took maybe a day or two for close to no one to run that basement killer perk Weaving Spiders. Other than in a very coordinated team that is going for a content piece that perk is not worth it.
I am hoping for a good balance to be done to it as I do like the concept. If the risk and reward are corrected it would be great. Broken until hooked was a suggestion I saw that seems fitting. You could also have them be u see the old sloppy butcher permanently through the match as well to compensate.
-
It is appreciated. If only they had a way to give players who had played during the blood drought event time a boost to compensate. Just a suggestion lol.
-
I have similar issues when playing. I try to stay fun as the killer. By that I mean I will spread hooks and allow them all to play the game. I give them the sense that I am going for them to hype their loop or hide senses. Then after a few matches of gens flying by I play for real a few matches which is painful as I know they have less fun when I do this. How do I know? I also play survivor and realized it’s the whole experience of uncertainty that you will survive but knowing you have a chance that makes it fun. If the killer goes full try hard it’s often not enjoyable. This is due to the case as you mentioned that not every other player is skilled.
My best guess to fix this is change how the requirement to get the 1 mil bp to games played instead of the current format. They do need a measuring stick for some to brag about tho so having something to show off like your rank can be there. It just should be separated so that some do not need to try hard to get the extra reward.
-
I’ve been running fun friendly killer games I can tell you why there is more tunneling. Some appreciate the game but most harass you in post. So most stop being friendly and become ruthless. Also to pip at high level you must 4K and it makes it easy for them.
-
I have been doing the 8 hooks and have fun method. I still pip and everyone has fun. It has made the experience completely different.
