If playing red mori makes you feel good no change in the game can help you. Dbd is a horror game and horror games are meant to be stressful. Am I wrong?
Yes, the killer in the horror game is meant to be a stressful experience, and the survivors are the ones who are supposed to have freedom and free reign. /s
@MrsPiggyIsSoSneaky Killer in this game is really stressful as you rank up due to the amount of sweat required in a lot of your games to pip, or even have fun.
Alot of killer players, including me have stopped playing because it’s simply boring as ######### to only play 2-3 killers who stand a chance in red ranks and they are taking their time to address the weaker killers, who desperately need love.
Trapper is outdated and needs an overhaul, and he needs the bag addons to be base kit. 0 map pressure unless he gets good maps.
Wraith could use a few tweaks to be viable such as maybe boneclapper base bell.
Doctor is very outdated as well and I hope they give him the rework he deserves. 0 map pressure at the moment.
Leatherface is a joke (I’m saying this as a Bubba main) this character was rushed as ######### and needs a complete rework to be viable. As he stands, against half decent survivors he just gets looped. 0 map pressure.
Clown needs his bottles to be a little stronger, he is completely add on reliant to be good at counter looping but still has 0 map pressure.
Legion is currently the new Freddy, replacing him as basically the worst killer in the game. Nothing to help him in chases, he got nerfed to the floor recently. 0 map pressure.
Oni is arguably among one of the weakest killers at the moment because of the heavy flick nerfs, if survivors play it smart and safe he’s never going to snowball. PURE m1 killer without power. 0 map pressure without his power.
There are a ton of other killer issues at the moment as to why killer is stressful to play right now, but those are off the top of my head. The main culprit of killer being unfun to play is the gen speeds, but it’s how it’s going to be unless the devs overhaul survivor objectives which is currently in serious need of reworking, seriously where is the fun in holding m1?
Anyways yeah sorry if it’s a little long but I wanted to answer your question as best as possible being a semi killer main.

Huntress. Unless you’re a 5,000 hour huntress main she’s not really the best killer and really gets hurt by lots of maps.
Everyone loves to put her very high on tier lists but against optimal teams and gens and a bad map she really, really struggles to snowball.

We all know the one and only Waifu is Bubba
-
Lol any half decent killer will break most of the safe pallets immediately nullifying that perk
-
Nobody’s talking about Bubbas mori where he literally smacks your head with a sledgehammer which should definitely have killed you and THEN shoves a chainsaw through your back and up out your shoulder?
Can you imagine the amount of hurt this is? And we’re supposed to be talking about brutality, not cute little selfies. Ghostface just stabs you in the back. Wow.
-
Guess Bubba is OP now, insta down is too OP and needs to be nerfed!1!1!!

Do you WANT to be genrushed every match?
It’s not that he wants to be genrushed every match, it’s just that he’s tired of the RNG tied with using the perk.
I, personally am also tired of using Hex: Ruin because it is a necessity on low tier killers and I love my low tier boys. You give up a perk slot for ruin and it’s soul crushing to have ruin gone in less than a minute without anything done and not have a perk slot for the rest of the game .
It’s also exhausting to go against as survivor sometimes because when you play solo and get matched with teammates who struggle with skill checks and finding the totem, ruin completely destroys them.
It would be nice for the meta perks to be brought in line with other perks and buffing other perks as well to shake things up a bit. It would be nice to give low tier killers a perk slot that isn’t Hex: Ruin.

If you play Dota 2 and pick a hero someone hates you will get told you commit suicide and an onslaught of bad words. Just picking someone’s bad hero will set that person off. You could just mute that guy put it still persists that Dota 2 has extreme amounts of toxicity.
If I were to sit here and tell you every single toxic thing that could happen just by playing Dota 2, you’d end up with a novel. Lmao

Well, the biggest problem with the Servant Grunts in Amnesia is that they don't have any special powers that I know of. They just seem to be big, dumb brutes.
I think if we want to make them interesting, then the Water Monster could be their power. Maybe the map is filled with puddles of water at the start of the game, and disturbing the water will alert the Killer to your presence. And perhaps the killer's active ability could target a specific puddle, and cause the Water Monster to attack any survivors standing in it?
That would be an interesting mechanic. Having kaernks with the servants would be something to behold. But the survivors would probably just avoid the puddles unless they’re in key locations like loops? I dunno

A secondary objective I’ve had on my mind for a while has been something to do after generators are completed. Everyone knows gens go fast and we all have those games every now and then.
Two ideas I’ve had are we have to get gas cans before starting a generator repair. This is fairly easy, gas cans can be found in lockers, and it takes 15 seconds to pour gasoline inside with the chance of skillchecks. Proceed normal repairs.
After all the generators are completed, we need to find the fusebox/switches for exit gates. Great job! You’ve powered the door! However, you must find the parts to assemble the switch and then proceed with unlocking the door and then escaping.
This is something I’ve been thinking of for a long time. Generators go too fast anyways so why not have something small after it to make the games not actually feel like 6 minutes?
TL;DR
Find gas cans in lockers, pour gas into generators that have a chance of skill checks, proceed normal repairs.
After generators are completed, find exit switch parts fusebox/switch in certain key locations

I hope everyone believes me but I played against a 4 stack of twitch streamers a long time ago and I had the basement build whipped out on bubba (I was playing this to end it off on a long day of the grind) and I put one person in the basement and for some god forsaken reason, they all decided to rush into the basement (they were clearly not experienced players) and I got the legendary 4 man chainsaw sweep.
That was easily the highlight of my DBD career, and when I opened up their streams after the game they were all calling me a sweaty killer but clearly they had no idea of the Bubba’s Basement™️ Strat. Hahaha. I spent the next rest of my day freaking out and showing all of my friends. But I’ve had more 2-3 man saws outside of the basement and they always are satisfying to me. Especially when I’m running PWYF and a speed ADDON. :)

I main Bill (big brain Bill main) and I’m almost finished with grinding every single perk to get for him. I’ll probably end up getting tired of him by the time he finally finishes his cigarette. Not to mention I also have 300+ hours in left 4 dead 2 and that game has a place in my heart.
I also main Bubba and out of the 350+ hours I have in DBD I’ve probably spent about 250 alone on him and I usually take a 30 minute break when I start getting consistent optimal teams but it doesn’t bother me because I love my leatherface!!! Feels so satisfying to crush survivors who disrespect the saw!
-
Lol loving how as soon as the best killer in the game for years gets slightly tuned down and everyone loses their minds. This might be a start to BHVR adjusting every killer down the line to all be playable in red ranks!
-
Buy The Cannibal AKA Bubba for bbq and chili. It tells you where to look next and also doubles your bloodpoints increase which overall helps you get more perks faster. Bubba is also a fun killer if you’re willing to put the time in. Change my mind.

Thank you. Everyone always gives me alot of hate for playing Legion. But I like the Play style. The Hyper aggressive, chase you all and stab! kinda mentality is alot of fun for me.
I don’t understand why people hate on legion when killers like spirit or nurse exist xd Jk in all seriousness I agree. Most survivors aren’t used to being run down and found quickly by a good legion player. The killer has some serious potential if you put in hours and ignore the hate. I believe in you!

Usually there's always a survivor or even two who hesitates to hop on a gen even at red ranks (unless it's an aggressive team). If someone plays Clown people get informed whenever he's in a chase due to the screams his bottles cause.
This information causes even passive players to play more optimally and run+repair gens like there's no tomorrow.
On top of that Clown's power is supposed to end chases quickly which it more often than not doesn't.
To sum it up:
Clown: No map pressure, no gen stall potential, no stealth, mediocre chase potential, informs anyone about his location and doings at all times allowing even solo players to play more optimally.
This is a nice summary. I have been genuinely curious because whenever I see gameplay of clown or play clown myself the gens just fly. Thanks for the info!
-
You got this. I have 200+ hours in Bubba. You go stab some nerds

@PyroDude said:
I mained Clown for maybe a few weeks. Don't know if that counts.
I will gladly play him more if he gets a rework or buff
Any amount of time counts. As long as you have a decent understanding of the killer, here’s hoping that our clown boi will get some love

Hex perks tend to be “high risk-high reward” IE offering a powerful advantage but the massive downside is it can be removed. I’m fine with the hex perks being tied into totems. The better question to ask would be... why are totem spawns so atrocious on older maps? (I’m looking at you disturbed ward)

As a former Clown main, I can confirm that it just makes me cry inside, under my painted smile, to see gens fly by and medium vaults sped up.
I don’t play clown too much but when I do I swear everyone turns into Claudette and gens just repair themselves in 2 seconds. Is it the clown curse or something?

Bubba's movement control is (considered) useless by some folks because his base range of 15 meters combined with a base top speed of 126.5% is a complete joke and doesn't allow him to catch people around loops. However if people actually took their time and practiced chainsaw-routing they'd realize he's actually got more chainsaw possibilities than Hillbilly given the right addons (not instasaw).
Obviously Hillbilly is -by far- the stronger killer due to his complete basekit that contains insane map pressure AND a legit instadown but still Bubba DOES have the more potent instadown all variables considered (skill, addons, map design etc.) in my opinion.
That's coming from a curving Hillbilly by the way.
Again: Just my opinion.
you say that as if survivors let you chainsaw them each time you see them
-
I'm surprised nobody is saying ironworks of infinite. That window is complete and utter BS and if you commit to a chase in that building the gens will fly. IMHO it should be hotfixed. When I get that map as Bubba i just instantly DC.

Leatherface. Seeing a tall, chubby guy running at me with a chainsaw and mallet never ceases to make me laugh. He's also dressed very nicely.
-
ummmm leatherface isn’t a slasher killer??? The original TCM movie was not a slasher. It was a reimagining of the famous Ed Gein scheme, and the original leatherface killed to protect his family and consume the victims because he was part of a cannibalistic family. We can just pretend platinum dunes take on the series doesn’t exist.

Yeah i miss him i miss all the old stuff.
Hopefully one day we get a DbD classic build to relive the old days of nostalgia.
Ah yes the nostalgic times of dbd where vacuum pallets existed and windows weren’t blocked by the entity and bloodlust didn’t exist and sprint burst could be used multiple times in a chase and flashlights could instantly blind you and hooks were permanently broken and it took 3 seconds to vault a window and you could not kick generators and brand new part instantly repaired generators good times am I right?

if you have 300 hours on bubba... you should already know this
Nurse, Billy, Spirit.... some hags are all that can apply pressure at red ranks
I Just play for fun and never really pay attention to ranks but recently I’m curious to see if I can rank up and the only killer I’m comfortable playing is bubba
