Pain Resonance and DMS are easily counterable. Let go of the gen before the killer hooks a survivor and you make both perks useless.
-
- I hate going against Dead Hard, but I still use it on survivor.
- I don't play half of the survivors I own (Ash, Ace, Felix, etc.)
- I sometimes still kill survivors that have booped the snoot.
- I'm decent as Huntress, but I suck at every other ranged killer (Excluding Plague and Artist if you want to count them)
-
I'm really glad that I wasn't on the forums at the time this was happening. I've been in this situation before, seen a seemingly innocent video on YouTube that hid these type of images in between frames and it has scarred me for life. It still effects me to this day. The fact that someone can do things like this and get away with it is just sickening.
I feel horrible for the people who had to witness these images and I hope that they can get through this.

I think a spider killer would be cool.
-
It would ruin the element of surprise.
-
Nope. Killer is a stressful experience for me.
-
When the killer makes you scream, it interrupts your actions. So when the killer hooks a survivor on a Pain Resonance hook, it makes survivors working on a gen scream which interrupts their actions and triggers DMS to proc.
Pain Resonance and DMS is easy to counter. Let go of the gen before a survivor gets hooked. It counters both perks.

As much as I hate going against SWF teams, removing SWF would literally kill this game.
-
Iridescent Head was nerfed because pairing it with Infantry Belt made it too strong. You can still do good with one hatchet, you just have to aim really good.
-
I've never bothered using FOV perks.
-
Hex: Retribution.
-
Freddy. His old power was fun to use, now he's just boring.
-
Yep, and now I'll have the joy of getting Cowshed for most of my killer matches. /s
-
I mostly play on console, so I can't check profiles. But if I were in this situation on PC, than yes I would definitely dodge. I'm not risking it.
-
Yeah, solo queue can be frustrating when your teammates do things like that. I've died more to my teammates than the killer.
-
That makeup does not look as good as it did in the promo art. I actually prefer the old version of this hair.
-
It's a good change. Hopefully this fixes the issues that Boil Over has.
-
On newer characters like Artist, Yun-Jin, and Mikaela I'll wear the recolors. I'll also wear Plague's red recolor dress and Meg's black recolor shirt.
-
It really depends on how I'm feeling.
-
The 25% wiggle progress needs nerfed, be r that's it.
-
I think it's fine, but it can be a bit crazy on some killers.
-
The map is way too big and maze like, it's easy to get lost, totems are nearly impossible to find, and there are a couple infinites. This map is horrible.
-
It should be slightly faster, but not by too much.
-
The killswitch is used for bugs that break the game and nothing else. If the perk is working as intended (which apparently it is), it won't be switched off.
-
Yes. I miss the old animations.

Which sucks because I'm not even trying to abuse it
Some killers are just really petty when it comes to survivors using perks that they don't like, so they do whatever they can to make the match miserable for the survivor using said perk(s). It doesn't matter how you use it, some killers will still get upset no matter what.
-
Yeah, killers have been doing that to survivors who bring Boil Over. He was probably upset that you brought it.
-
Extra blood points. That's the only reason why I run it, anyway.
-
Best: Silent Hill
Worst: A Nightmare On Elm Street
-
No, they don't. The difficulty for both survivors and killer literally mean nothing.
-
I played Hillbilly a couple days ago and he feels clunkier than he usually is.
-
Artist, Billy, Oni, Ghostface, Demo, and Pyramid Head.
-
Yeah, I just checked my Wraith's inventory and he had the Hallowed Blight torso too. (I didn't purchase any of that outfit). It's most likely a bug.
-
No. Survivors would just run to the side of the map where there are no Scourge Hooks. And they'll just sabotage the hooks in spite.
-
Firecrackers are harder to use than flashlights. There are many counters to them too. Look up, look at a wall, turn around, etc.
Also, Flashbang can do the same exact thing as firecrackers. So, yeah.
-
COH is still a problem. The only reason why it's not being talked about much right now is because Boil Over is a much bigger problem than COH.
-
Yeah, I've noticed that too. And I keep forgetting he has voice lines so whenever I go against him and hear them they scare the life out of me for a moment.
-
The extra 25% wiggle progress is OP. Everything else about it is fine.
-
5 days with a one or two day break in between.
-
I hate both of the Swamp maps and can't go without getting it at least once in all of my matches. Grim Pantry is the worst of the two because the huge dead zone and gens that spawn in the middle of the map. Not to mention the pantry itself is one big infinite loop with a lot of pallets (The Pale Rose boat has the same issue too).
-
When I play on my PC I use a controller because I suck at keyboard controls, so I really can't comment on PC controls. But as far as controllers go, I like the new skill checks.
-
There's literally no difference. The same thing happened with Hillbilly's Ice Capped Pants from a previous rift. At least it isn't in the paid track this time.
-
For some reason the envelopes sometimes spawn too high and makes the players jump to reach them. It's strange.
-
Saboteur is useless in most situations because it can only be used once before it goes on a long cooldown. And it goes on cooldown even if you haven't fully sabotaged the hook, which can make it pointless to run over a toolbox.
-
All of the Stranger Things perks are now universally available, so you don't need to level up the characters to unlock them.
-
Yeah, Autohaven totem spawns are horrible. Literally standing right out in the open.
-
All three of her perks are decent and really useful. Bill would be in second place, along with David since they have 2 strong perks.
-
During the day my survivor queues are almost instant, while my killer queues take at least 10 minutes.
During the night, it's the complete opposite. Killer queues are almost instant and survivor queues take 10-30 minutes.
-
I think I've seen it a few times, but that's about it.
-
The issue isn't the perk itself, but because Boil Over can be abused on most maps and be used to hold the game hostage. In some areas of certain maps you can't even hook a survivor because there's no hooks around the area. And survivors are purposely abusing it, pairing Boil Over with perks like No Mither/Flip Flop/Exponential/Etc., And bringing map offerings to RPD, Eyrie Of Crows, The Game, and other maps where it can be outright abused.
So yes, killers have every right to complain about it.
On top of all of that, the 25% bonus wiggle progression is too much, especially paired with the bonus wiggle speed from hitting great wiggle skill checks. If it was at 15% or something lower than what it is now, it would be more balanced.
One solution to this would be guaranteeing a hook spawn in the areas where Boil Over can be abused. Another would be to nerf the 25% bonus wiggle progression, because that's the main issue.
