That "solution" has been debunked for almost an entire year.
DBD still has code from 2019 that leaks all participants in the lobby their IP addresses and BHVR has adamantly refused to fix it. Either because they literally don't know how to do it, or because the resources that they would have to pour into it wouldn't be worth it. Now that big name streamers have their own little matchmaking where they can't go up against hackers, there's zero pressure on BHVR to fix the cheating problem in the game which is at an all time high.
You can have that setting toggled, I still got DDOSed 6 times in the last 12 months, doesn't do much.
I know a white hat that doesn't play DBD and when asked about this because I was concerned for my own security, it took her longer to get onto the secret parts of the web than it did to find out exactly how right you are.

Where has Cote said that exactly?
Closest i've seen him come to saying that is in the Paulie Esther & King interview back in October 2021, where he says that characters/dlcs you buy will be usable for you for as long as DBD as a game exist, however that the option of still being able to buy a character/dlc if a license should expire is not always gonna be possible but that they're fighting tooth & nail to keep the possibility.
Oh just let me call up my full database of transcripts of every livestream Dead by Daylight has ever done and.... Oh wait I dont have one.
Maybe he didn't say it. Maybe I am remembering wrong. I don't have a transcript of every livestream as wonderful as that would be, so all I can say is I remember him saying that they were going to try to make sure that another Stranger Things incident couldn't happen in the future.

Rationalize that its not your fault that de-pipping is still a thing in 2023 and that you have to sweat it hard, if you want to get the last couple pips till Iri1.
... pipping up in Iri ranks is REALLY hard. How is this just a function of time played? You need 4 Iri emblems in one go!
... this is frustrating as hell, but what ever. It would be nice to play anyway I wan't all month, but only Iri1 will give me that freedom for a couple of days.
... three Seal Team SWFs back to back just love to knock you down to zero pips once in a while, just to keep the spirts high.
This is poetry. If this were the Steam forums, I'd give you that award. I really wish they would just remove de-pipping already. It's an oudated concept left over from when Rank was MMR. They finally divorced Killer Adepts from the Emblem system, now they need to get rid of De-Pipping too!

Where have they said that? All they've said is that no matter what content being removed is always a possibility due to how licencing content works.
I think it was Cote that said it in a livestream once, that after the removal of the Stranger Things license, they've decided to make sure to negotiate future licenses so that doesn't happen again.
-
It could also be a 2nd Saw tome. Lionsgate has shown how generous they are to Dead by Daylight, so I imagine at the very least we'll get a new outfit for The Pig that is her outfit from Saw X, if not a full Tome.

Laurie and I finished a gen just as Wraith downed someone. I hopped in a locker before Wraith hooked, in case he had BBQ. Laurie did not like this. How DARE I hide in a locker. She spams my locker, effectively trapping me inside until the killer showed up.
Long story short, it came down to just Dwight and I. Wraith was chasing Dwight, but the chase kept getting closer to me. I hid in a locker and Dwight looped him around it. I figured Dwight had Bond.
Nope. He was in a SWF with Laurie and she was spectating me and telling him where to go.
----
Please! Let me opt out of being spectated by public players.
While you're at it, give priority to the survivor IN the locker and let them exit when two survivors are both spamming the enter/exit locker action.
Well, that right there you have a clear violation of the rules, that's ratting out other survivors to the killer and can be reported if you can get video proof.

I just had a match where I had Boil Over, and we had preschool with basement in the shack. OMG, that felt like cheating. There was NO possible way the killer could get me to a hook, and I kept wiggling free, and then running back to the corner where the basement usually spawns. I aggroed him there for a while while everyone else did gens, and even though it was solo q I think everyone figured out what I was doing fairly quick. And eventually he gave up on me and chased other survivors instead. I also had Unbreakable, so I didn't mind if he left me slugged.
This so so so needs to be fixed.
Glad to see a survivor saying this. Yes, I hate that perk, and if a survivor brings it, I have no qualms about letting them bleed out if they abuse it. For any that thing I don't play survivor too, I do. I've used Boil Over, and I and one of my Streamer friends spent much time on the PTB when the buff was added seeing how badly we could abuse it. What did most killers do? Bleed us out. Which, is now on Live servers what I do when survivors bring Boil Over and abuse it.
Note I said abuse it. If you bring Boil Over and manage to wiggle out I'm okay with that. If you manage to escape, I'm okay with that. But if you bring map and hatch offerings to force it into a "I can't lose" situation, then yes. That's abuse.
-
They need to just remove de-pip. It made sense when the matchmaking was tied to your rank, but with MMR being separate now, and their claim "Getting to Iridescent I isn't about how well you play, just how much you play" that just isn't true.

Skins because the licenced are expensive and I don't want to see another chapter removed after a year
That will never happen again, they have said. They now make sure that all future chapter licenses will be negotiated for the life of the game. That is NOT the case however for skins, as we saw with the recent removal of the Attack on Titan skins from the store.
-
Well, they already have added one, that is Attack on Titan. They were outfits for the survivors, except for the killer ones were Legendaries.
As for other licenses? Hmm. I think it depends on the anime, like one that would be a lot of fun would be Cutie Honey, especially since she's an android shapeshifter and has many outfits. Her perks would be a lot of distraction type stuff?
Though even better would be if they based it on the 2004 Live Action (which was released alongside Re: Cutie Honey, a remake of the original 1973 series.)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KnYteHOmTTIHoney Kisaragi, Seiji Hayami (the reporter), Natsuko Aki (the cop), and Kyōko Izumiya (a janitor... or is she?) as survivors.
The Killer would probably be Sister Jill, or MAYBE Panther Zora, but it would be more likely Zora would have contacted The Entity and been like "Can you get this Honey $*&*## out of my way? I'll give you Sister Jill too."

BHVR has been very slow at addressing accessibility issues. Asking for a change that they will not implement is not going to help you. The devs have already expressed they have no plans to implement any functionality that will block you from being matched against other players.
Note I didn't say block, I said reduce the chances.
Even then, if they aren't willing to do this, at the very least hopefully it can incentivize them to find an alternative sooner.

But because its profiting video game, not small fan project, it suppoused to please as many new players as it can, and thus do not make them feel uncomfortable... which in turn, may remove old players from the game (players that make this game last for so long)... but who would think about this minority.
No, they will never remove the ability to SWF, plus none of that has anything to do with what I am asking here, if you want to make such suggestions, please make your own feedback post.

I mean if they want to drop me and leave so they don’t have to keep losing me I’d say that’s fine. But if they just stand over my body while I bleed out and everyone else does gens I’d find that unnecessary. Personally, when I play killer and I get outplayed with these strategies I find it hella fun and engaging. Today I got blast mined by a Jill so unexpectedly that I didn’t even kick her gen again to regress it because respect. I’m not that worried about “winning” as I am having fun. If I see a survivor who is just trolling and abusing their teammates I’ll take them out right away. That same match I had a player who instead of running just decided to teabag so I hooked him. After being unhooked he ran up to me and started doing it again so I just got rid of him. He decided he wasn’t helping his mates and wanted to taunt me so that I don’t respect.
Oh yes, I've done that. Just drop the Boil Over user while I go take care of their friends. A lot of times they end up getting hatch, and I'm okay with that. Also, yes on the Blast Mine thing, and add to that Head On for me. I wasn't always that way, but now I've gotten to the point that for the most part, there are very few things I actively consider toxic behavior and will call out (anonymously.)
Also I am a Claire main who runs Blast Mine, Flashbang, Residual Manifest, and Stake Out. Heh.

@Orthane said:
Okay then they also need to fix gen speeds by making Corrupt Intervention baseline.
Also if you get 3 genned that's your own fault. It's like flashlight saves, if you don't take precautions to avoid 3 genning yourself then you deserve to get 3 genned. Stop repairing gens that are right next to each other and learn to spread them out instead of just tunneling whichever one you see.
I agree, except.. for Skull Merchant. She's the biggest issue, as it's so easy for her to FORCE a 3-Gen. Yes, other killers can do it, I love doing it on the Pig, but it's still something that takes some mind gaming and the survivors have to not realize you are doing it. Skull Merchant though, it's a no brain strategy for her. She can just do it and there is next to nothing the survivors can do to stop her.
Luckily, she's rare for me, but that doesn't mean the issue doesn't need to be addressed.
However, I think it needs to be addressed for HER, not overall, as I think if the survivors accidentally (or through mind-gaming) get themselves into a 3-gen, it's their fault.

The problem with this is that people will use for non-accessibility reasons and preventing facing certain killers will create balance problems.
Instead of asking for the devs to allow you to not match against certain killers, it would be better to ask for specific changes to the killer's power that could help those with accessibility issues.
Things like being able to toggle the sound of Plague's purge so it doesn't sound like puke and a toggle to changing the effects to look different.
Oh we have, and yet nothing has changed. Also, they really can't change the looks of powers to that exent very easily from what I understand.
Also, as I said above, if too many were trying to avoid say The Doctor, then it would need to "turn off" to an extent.
I and other autistics have been complaining about The Doctor (along with those who had epilepsy issues) since he came out. While he has gotten better for those with epilepsy issues, us autistics still have a problem.

You bleeding out on the ground WAS also caused by your own actions. I might agree with you if you had crawled away from that spot, which IS an action you could have done. You COULD have crawled to a hook so YOU can give up rather than expect the killer to. You could have started crawling to the open exit gate, or look around for the hatch. You chose to do none of that. If this pic was you laying next to a hook, you'd have a point. This is instead similar to old hatch standoffs with 2 people calling each other sweaty, only in this case... the killer knows he'll win in afew minutes.
That's true. Neither one of us was willing to accept the loss. I fully admit that/ However as someone who plays both sides, I would be the killer letting the survivor open the door.

But isn’t a lot of this game based on RNG? And it can be strategic as well - if I’m looping the killer effectively but get injured I know I can make a beeline for the building with the heights. It’s risky to abandon a good loop and hope to make it there and it won’t be an option all of the time either depending on distance. What would you rather Boil Over do?
I am not a game developer, so no idea. But also, I am not even saying that I will leave a Boil Over user slugged for four minutes. I will admit I have done so in the past, but not recently. But as I said, that's one of the few times I would not find slugging and watching the survivor bleed out as toxic. In fact, if I ever bring Boil Over, I give the Killer full permission to bleed me out.
Again, my intent is not to throw shade on any player specifically for how they play the game, merely to showcase things that are very unfun for everyone on the other side, to try to make a better game for everyone. Heck one of my favorite streamers is a basement bubba and occasionlly a survivor will come into his chat very angry, but he doesn't ban them (I've seen him ban someone like twice in over a year, its only when they make really homophoic comments or such), and many more times than you'd expect they end up being followers when they see how not seriously he takes the game. However, I know and he knows that were I to go against him, I would find the actual games vs. him very unfun without knowing him as I do.
Were we discussing how not fun basement bubbas can be for survivors, no they are not but I wouldn't name names anymore than I am naming him here.
I hope that makes sense?

I need to know… what do you consider to be “abusing Boil Over?” Do you mean running for barren zones or up stairs? Because imo that’s the only way you’re going to even get value outta that perk. Without extra carrying time or the possible bonus progression from falling the perk doesn’t do anything good enough to let you wiggle free. The extra struggle effects only help if there’s collision and even then it’s easy to work around.
Maybe so, but that's a problem with Boil Over. A single perk should not be a 100% guaranteed escape if you get the right RNG map (or bring a map offering.) Could I escape more if I used Boil Over? Absolutely. But because I still find that perk broken when it's so easily abused (only way to get value from it? Okay, sure. That's even more why it's broken.) is exactly why I refuse to use it when I play survivor.

I understand that. Sometimes I go for the 4k, sometimes I chuck the Meg who was being a cutie all match down the hatch. What I DONT do though is post screenshots whenever my opponents don't let me win and shame them for it. This comes across as very hypocritical like I said.
Had a match recently where I got slugged and my teammate hooked, resulting in me crawling around looking for hatch. I FOUND hatch and was about 2 meters away from getting it... when the killer got there just in time to close it. I didn't run to the forums to rant about the killer not just letting me escape, but rather inwardly griped about being SO close...and moved on.
If I had told his name, it would be different (even if it wasn't against the forum rules to do so) but you are making assuptions about my intent being to "shame' him. This is a discussion about certain types of gameplay being unfun. Forcing me to just sit there for four whole minutes staring at my screen, unable to do ANYTHING. Again, and again, I have said that survivors and killers are allowed to play however they want as long as they are not breaking any rules, but that doesn't mean others have to like it.
Take this recent video by SkyFaction. I've started doing this, it's super funny. Most survivors I've gone against that were not console have been like 'gg" or laughing with me... but I also had one that got very angry and called me trash. He didn't find it funny, so I apologized that he did not, and wished him luck on his next games. Also note how most of the streamers SkyFaction went against are laughing with him. The one that's not? That's okay, as his negative comments are valid, just as my screenshot above is valid.

In that situation, there's nothing the killer CAN really do. One of the downsides to hooks going away after being used. If the killer picks them up, they just wiggle out and might find hatch or run out of an open gate. Typically, survivors will run to a hook deadzone and go, "Ha, now you HAVE to pick me up and I get to wiggle out!" then get a surprised Pikachu face when the killer just leaves them slugged - that's on the survivor for running to a deadzone. However, in rarer cases, the survivor also didn't really have a choice - they were at an exit gate trying to escape without hooks nearby. The killer has zero options, and the survivor has to lie and wait it out. That being said, it's more often than not a situation of survivors trying to force a wiggle out by going to a deadzone. The situation here would happen a lot more rarely - the chances of literally having no hooks at the exit objective. That's some seriously bad luck. That's on BHVR making hooks go away - not the killer.
I am a Pig main so I understand how the game works. As I have said before, if the survivor isn't abusing Boil Over, I accept the loss. Hell, half the time I get a 3K and then close the hatch and nod at them as they open the door (then I slug them and let them crawl out. I still make them 'suffer' haha) but leaving someone slugged because I got rid of all the hooks... Just because it's allowed doesn't mean it's fun gameplay, and now more than ever, I try to not do anything that I would be annoyed if it was done to me.

I mean… the Ghost Face could’ve just let you wiggle free and escape? When I play killer I would much rather do that then let you bleed out for 2 minutes… I guess the 4k isn’t that important to me to want to do something that low.
Isn’t it also a bit unfair for someone to say GF was justified in slugging because there weren’t any hooks available? I’ve had many people complain about using perks like Boil Over, Blast Mine, etc. but they’re in place to give the survivor an advantage. Is it not an advantage to just slug someone because you can’t make it to the next hook?
Yes, that was my point. He HAD to get that 3K when my friend managed to get out the door on the complete opposite side of the map, so he just watched me bleed out the full 4 minutes (Yes, 4 minutes... remember that the EGC slows down when a survivor is slugged, and as he had been very quick to hook everyone so I still had barely any bleedout) rather than accepting only a 2K.
-
@LordGlint said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3502172#Comment_3502172
So for the record, your saying the only reason why he slugged you was because he couldn't get you to a hook? That sounds like a completely acceptable reason to slug.
Just standing there watching you bleed out at the door for the entire bleed out timer because he already used all the hooks near it? No, I have never done that (except for Boil Over abuse, I hate that perk and never use it.) In fact, while i do not agree it should be allowed, it's the reason many players want a "die" option for when they are left to bleed out.
It's not against the rules, and a killer is allowed to play however they want, I even said ggwp to him in the end game chat, as it's my vibe to be positive no matter what, however that doesn't mean that there isn't certain things I don't agree with and will call out (which is the main reason I use streamer mode even though I am not a streamer. I like my screenshots to hide names.) because it's also my policy to not do anything as killer that would make me angry as a survivor.
Don't even remember that killers' name and won't tell anyone even if I did.
BUT all that said, let me reiterate that the killer AND survivors are free to do whatever they find fun. That doesn't mean the other side will find it fun. So you have to make that personal decision on how much everyone having fun matters to you, and play your games accordingly.
-
Considering I never even knew there was a bloodpoint bonus for Prove Thyself until it was taken away, no I don't have this problem.
-
I could say the same thing about killers. This was my first match tonight. This Ghost Face could not accept me escaping. He'd already used all the hooks around the door, so I would wiggle out no matter what he did. I wasn't even running Boil Over.
Thing is, as annoying as this is, I let it slide because in the end it's just a game. It took me the full 2 minutes to bleed out because while a survivor is slugged, the EGC slows.

Well, if you have video proof, that actually is something they'd take a look at, as that could be considered "Working with the Killer" or however it's worded, which IS a reportable offense, but you'd need video proof.

They said that licensed skins will remain an exception So, it seems these are considered licensed. Those that eventually become available for Iridescent Shards are made entirely by BHVR, so all the money goes to them. However, licensed skins I imagine a portion of the cost goes to the creators that are not BHVR employees, which is why they are Auric Cells only.
This is also why if you note that "Community Contest" rewards are 1. Always in the FREE section of the Rifts and 2. Always available for Iridescent Shards ONLY once they become available in the store. As they do not pay the community artists, BHVR can't charge for them (well they possibly could, but they do not.)

I didn't say he must play, I said he had the option to DC. I'm all for accessibility features letting people with disabilities play more comfortably, but the fact of the matter is flashlights affected basically every killer game and Doctor affects much fewer games. Hookicides leave his team down a man and basically loses them the game, and DCing gives them a bot that may or may not be useful.
I can empathize, but at the end of the day, there's other people in the game too who are hoping to get a proper game, and someone's disability doesn't entitle them to circumvent the DC penalty and lose the game for their team. Take the DC penalty and move on.
So you are telling me to do what actually IS against the rules? Like I have said again and again, I usually try to stick it out as long as he's not running that Iridescent Queen addon, though honestly most Doctors do lately. As for them being so rare, that isn't the point. I shouldn't have to accept a penalty because of a problem with sensory overload making it difficult. Yes, it does suck for the other players, especially now that they add bots, but I don't agree that I should have a penalty. If I just didn't like Doctor that would be different. So many players DC or just give up when it's a killer they don't like, and I hate those players. But those with emetophobia, with courlophobia, or sensory overload or any other actual health reason to need to quit versus a particular killer, no they should not be obligated to take a penalty.
-
Um pretty sure many of those ARE in the store.
99% sure the SAW ones are.
Now, Office Santa, Rabid Seadog, and System Smasher are not. I came into the game during Rift 6 so I half part of Office Santa which annoys the F out of me not having the full outfit, and Rabid Seadog is the only Legion outfit I don't have (well, don't have the new Joey in the Rift nor the store yet either, but I will get it once I finish the Rift and get my points back probably.)

Oh, I'm not against DCing. Well, I am, but not to the same level as hookicide. Don't get me wrong, bots are useless so DCing is still a throw, but hookicide doesn't even give your team a bot and circumvent the DC penalty. That's specifically what the thread is about.
Yes, but that it should be a bannable offense is the problem most of us have with your post. It shouldn't.
Let me ask you this. I have told you that I am useless against The Doctor, but say I am willing to push though. Now am I being selfish because I don't DC? I can guarantee you that in the case of The Doctor, that bot will be more useful than I am. So, should I continue playing, or should I DC?
The fact remains that intentionally DCing is considered unsportmanlike by BHVR and the addition of bots is not a free pass to DC, it's an attempt by the developers to help the game not be over when someone does.
-

It's like those saying No Mither + Plot Twist being able to end Corrupt Intervention is an issue, and.. no dude, you're freaking running No Mither and Plot Twist can't actually be used for it's intended purpose.. and when the killer doesn't have Corrupt, well you're freaking running No Mither and a useless perk.

Either way, you already have an option ingame to avoid that killer: the Disconnect button. You incur a penalty for not playing out the game, and your team gets a subpar bot, but it's better than being down a man. Why do you feel like your disability entitles you to the right to throw for your team in a 1/32 chance (it's actually higher, considering the doctor is fairly popular?
I never said whether I DC or not actually. A lot of times I Do try to push through and play anyway (especially if I am with friends) but all my friends know that if the Killer is Doctor I'm going to be completely useless especially with that addon. I was merely saying that if someone does need to DC against certain killers for accessibility reasons, I understand. If its just because you don't like The Legion's "healing simulator" gameplay, then that's completely different.
Besides, it was pointed out that admitting or advocating for DCing is against forum rules, so I have tried to be very careful to explain my reasons for not being able to effectively play against The Doctor without breaking forum rules, and here you are telling me I am selfish and entitled for NOT breaking forum rules.
Also, The Doctor isn't nearly as bad as he used to be. The visual effects of his gameplay has been toned down A LOT. That also helps me to somewhat tolerate him.

While I am not sure it will be, my dream chapter now and until it happens is...
1979's Phantasm
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQFn0e5d00QOne of the most interesting things about that movie is that at first Don Coscarelli made about an eight hour movie that started 3 days before The Tall Man even showed up. Of course, the studio said no way, you have to cut it down so he did. He started with Tommy already being dead. However, in later sequels he liberally took from his deleted footage to flesh out the backstory of the characters. It's a rather unique series in that respect, as not many movies can incorporate completely "new" scenes with the original actors at the age they were in 1979 i a 2016 movie (that's when the final film, Phantasm: Ravager was released, The Tall Man''s actor (Angrus Scrimm )passed away when the film was in post-production.)

The man moans a lot and it's loud.
He's not quiet.
So does Jeff. Ace does not.
There is a reason for the joke of survivor moans being on a scale of Ace to Jeff.
Also, you have Claire. I am a Claire main, and I know a streamer that used to joke with me and another streamer that was a Claire fan that we were going to get him banned from Twitch by playing her in his streamed games. So, we played in a match with him with both of us playing Claire and running No Mither, just to troll him.

I’m wondering why the overseer or whatever didn’t say anything before the match? They saw Nic Cage in the lobby. They could have pointed out it was an infraction. It’s weird no one said anything & let them play through.
That happened in another tournament a few weeks ago too. They kept changing up the rules. They also said that all characters and builds must be pre-approved. A killer got their build approved. They played the match (in which the survivors actually broke one of these weird rules about how the match had to be played) and then aferward the killer was penalized for using a banned perk. That the admins had approved when they looked at his build. Thing is, it happened earlier in the tournament too. While yes, it is on the players to know and follow the rules, IMO why require builds to be approved if they are just going to approve invalid builds? Worst thing IMO is that the killer player got in trouble and the fact that the four survivors had broken a gameplay rule (no matter how dumb IMO that rule was) just got ignored.

I didn't say that it wasn't a rule, just that it was a stupid one.
Cage isn't exactly quiet lol. That man talks. It's pretty clear that it wasn't for a tactical advantage. Maybe if a Survivor that's quiet comes out, re-implement it, but for now, it's a dumb rule.
Only the Nic Cage player hears his voice lines.

The only time I have 3-gen games is when the survivors do it to themselves because they aren't paying attention, and at that point... why should the killer throw the game?
Those rare occasions where a Killer is actively going for and pulling off a 3-gen strategy, maaaaaybe.... but that's rare when it's not Skull Merchant.
Also, as for Skull Merchant, since she's come out, I've maybe run into 5 of them at most. Maybe I'm not a "HIGH MMR GOD STREAMER" is the reason, but I never see her.

Why would you force yourself to play a game if you have a disability that physically prevents you from being able to do so?
The Doctor is a single killer out of.. like what 32 now?
That's like asking why someone with coulrophobia would ever consider playing Dead by Daylight. You don't run into The Clown that often, but if someone has Coulrophobia, they might need to quit that match, and whatever way they decide to do so should be respected.
Or there are those that just can't handle vomit. When they see the killer is Plague, they have to leave. Again, she's a single killer out of many.
What it boils down to is, everyone has a reason for not wanting to play against certain killers, and the legitimacy of our reasons or our choice to play the game the rest of the time is our choice not yours.

Give one argument for why they should still exist in the game, outside of being a loophole to get around DC penalty.
Sensory Overload when playing against The Doctor (especially when he is using that Iridescent Queen addon.) Of course, as you are even asking, I'm wasting my time giving that as an answer because someone who does not experience the pain of sensory overload cannot comprehend what it's like.

As Im curious, what skins would you like to see? :)
A second Legendary for Claire, specifically this one.

Onryo Mains: OMG THIS IS SUCH A NERF, SHE SUCKS NOW!
Survivor Mains: OMG THIS IS SUCH A BUFF, SHE SUCKS NOW!
Like seriously, how do these two groups exist in the same game? I am honestly baffled how it's possible.

DBD is a multiverse which means there isn't only one singular canon as every character in the dbd universe has their own lore and story that are canon to them and the overall universe of dbd, also getting into dbd's overarching cosmic horror lore is not exactly as straight forward as linear stories are to get into as DBD's lore deals with concepts such as
- Time working differently and non-linear inside the Entity's realm than it does outside it, so anyone and anything from any time, reality, universe and fiction can exist at the same time and at the same place without problem.
- What's fictional in one world is real in another and vice versa.
- Every character that has ever existed is inspired by a previous existing alternative version of themselves and they themselves will have another alternative version who's existence is inspired by them and so on.
- All artists having a hidden third eye that they unknowingly uses to look into different realities to see things that they bring back to use themselves for things such as Art, Music and other things for entertainment, some able to utilize it more than others.
- Overlaps/Rifts into the Entity's realm leaking into other terras/worlds throughout the different universes as supernatural hotspots caused by the Entity's presence wherever it has been.
And those are just to name a few examples of the themes and concepts dbd's lore in general deals with.
However as far as your question goes, yes the Legion comic is canon to the playable Legion lore according to Mathieu Cote in his interview with Slasher Radio.
Thanks, really that link to Matheiu Cote is just perfect, that's the definitive yes she's wanting.
And yea, the whole multiverse thing is why I had a hard time giving her a simple yes or no. Is it canon that Susie was in Chinatown and murdered some random guy using a jeweled knife she stole along with a Year of the Rat hoodie? Yes, in as much as that's one of the many worlds that The Entity is able to draw from. Did The Trickster perform at the Fire Moon Festival? Did Jane attend the Fire Moon Festival? Did a Samurai turned Demon known as The Oni attend it? Yes, somwhere in the multiverse!
And yea, the "third eye" is why we can have Jill Valentine, a real person, and also Feng Min cosplaying as her, Jill Valentine one of her favorite video game characters. (How much I don't like the "equal opportunity" Feng Min cosplay skins aside, they do at least make sense in the overall DBD multiverse lore.)

Skull Merchant. Nobody cares about her anyway, including her teachables.
Okay, while I could do away with her, I happen to use some of her perks so speak for yourself, not everyone else.
As for my answer to the subject, The Doctor. I am autistic and while not much gives me sensory overload like many other autistics, The Doctor definitely does. Sorry not sorry, but I unalive myself on first hook when I am against The Doctor as I just can't handle going against him mentally.
-
Hmm, yea I see your point.
I think it could be done away with, I definitely agree with your take on the cosmetics.

Then get another tape?
I mean, i´ve seen the first survivors actually turning the tapes in so people are learning how to play against Sadako.
Biggest issue so far is that people are not used to her mechanic and don´t know what to do. But this will fade quickly as more people play against her. Once thats solved we´ll see how strong she actually is. First days of a rework/release of a new killer it really isn´t possible to draw any conclusions on the killers strength.
Hako is a Sadako main, has been since she came out. Above I posted an in-depth guide he made a few days ago about her. I've spoken with him directly, and it's his take that this patch is an overall buff for her in so many ways. Yes, this is a long video, but it's an in-depth guide its worth it to watch it, especially if you plan to play Sadako going forward, or play against her.
