  • They made him more brainless than wraith and he is more stronger on loops, before he was for majority annoying to face but he took way more skill to use espicialy with yellow now you just throw only yellow and sometimes purple but only on loops where survivor is locked and cant just run away use yellow and purple but purple only slows in the purple gas only now the 1 second lingering hinder is joke. Somewhere I heard he will get rework and skullmerchant, trapper too, trickster will get some changes too but that will be like in 2026 first will be merchant rework near end of the year.

  • I think its nice idea but no needed now theres gent limit for regression action set at 8 times then the gen cant be damaged and popular perk called deja vu which will tell you where is 3 gen, if this perk would exist it would be another broken perk for swf and another huge nerf for weaker non mobility killers where they cant deffend last gen and its easy gates.

  • @Guest said:

the tunneling/pick rate has gone up through the roof. And the DCs upon hearing the terror radius music is moth so than any killer I’ve seen is a while.

What did you expect from killer who has great antiloop but no mobility if he has no target the tunneling is most consistant and rewarding option he has dont you think and some survivors who save dont think about rescued teammate they will just hide and let killer to follow the marks even if they werent hooked and their teammate is dead on hook, or they will save you when killer is just 10 meters from hook and hide then they scream on killer in chat he is tunneling pleb but the fact they farm their teammates like cattle is key problem they dont see.

  • Last survivor has huge chance to escape hatch is like 50/50 and now killer cant see hatch offering because its secreat so with offering its almost guarantee escape, if killer closes hatch there are two options you can try gate rng which depends on map how far are gates from each other and killer can see them from check spot then killers mobility like bubba will have less chance to get you than billy, larry or wraith. Last option is to hav key to reopen the hatch which will be more offten now with key rework so bye bye with hard times to get out and good luck catching last survivor.

  • No progress for survivor, Idk who you play against but most of my games is just two hooks and 2-3 gens are done which is like 60% of survivors first objective second one is gate which takes 20 seconds to open, my chases arent terrible just gens go by fast if survivors know how to do them and my first kill is on 1-2 gens left which isnt nothing abnormal.

  • @Deathstroke said:

I think it was confirmed somewhere they are not going to change his core power so it's just adjustments. We definetely don't want another skull merchant treatment. Kankeki is actually fun killer and will be much more fun to face if he is not too overpowered like now.

He is in top 5 maybe top 8 killers in the game in terms of power but overpowered isnt the case he was op before his second nerf patch now he is just stronger killer but not broken if we dont count all the bugs and his most broken one kidnap tech which is just bug devs cant fix so they will call it intended feature snd nerf his kit thats all he gets chuckyed at max just another money grab move by bhvr nothing else only difference is that he lasted stronger for longer time than chucky.

  • Sadly it looks it will be another chucky the devs dont care, they cant fix his biggest bug that made him s-tier in first place and thats kidnap tech so intead they would admit they cant fix it they will call it intended feature not a bug and nerf his kit. What do you expect from them he came as realy strong a fun killer to play as, they made some skins and one is must for someone who wants to play him offten (Ryze) because she doesnt sream all the time and now its time they give survivors they want and thats to nerf him to the killer grounds so he is just different legion. First thing is money as all devs they need that and want that second is what survivors want because they must be majority of the game and then comes killers and everything else. I know its hard to believe it but thats just reality.

  • After my all experience and time spend in dbd Im starting to believe balance was never option, only broken survivor combos and s-tier/high tier killers are ment to be played.

    Pain Res/DMS or Corrupt/Grim Embrace

They can be annoying but killer needs to hook everyone to get some value so its not good for tunneling gameplay (tunneling from start of the trial). Only reason painres is good its because after many nerfs many killers lack mobility part in their kit to use some different regression perks that help others are eruption which is good but you need to kick gen and get down to make it work not good for low mobility again, ruin thats hard to use if you dont get swamp map because totem will be gone in first one or two minutes of the trial not tomention using hex theres like 50% cahnce survivors will spawn on it so bye bye hex and last is oppression which is ok but not super strong if survivors can hit skillchecks.

For me these perks you mentioned are unfun if my reammates are going down fast as potatoes then its hard to do any gens.

  • @jmwjmw27 said:

I've played as and against new clown, there is no skill required to win almost every tile in the game, the few you can't (shack pallet) you kick then win as you spam yellows at your feet.

You can use pinks on occasion to slow down survivors, but you can win with only yellows, it's pretty ridiculous and I expect it will be toned down in the next update.

Only way you use pink (purple) is now like yellow before even less, its only good to use on loops where survivor cant run to other and its not super unsafe loop then you use it and catch him (now purple slows them only in smoke if they get of the smoke the hinder effect last only for one second which is nothing before it was two).

  • Skulmechant number one I would say then trapper (atleast his power still does something not like merchants which is just way worse clown with temu stealth), mayers he is weak without tombstone and ghostface weak without addons and the les gens are left his stealth is worse and worse his play area gets smaler all you need to make him powerless is just someone to look at him and he is done all he can do is then get like 1,5 seconds stalk and 4,5 is what he needs for mark then they are killers like pig (her mains will beat me for this but its true she is weak),legion, demogorgon.

  • @Abbzy said:

Quite funny that all you need is 4 perks for this and some distraction like going under palett or teammate to take killers attention for few more seconds and you will get up and have another chase that basicaly 3 health states.

You will get down in 30 seconds but thats lot of time 1/3 of generator per player on gen, in hands of good swf this can be nightmare.

  • Quite funny that all you need is 4 perks for this and some distraction like going under palett or teammate to take killers attention for few more seconds and you will get up and have another chase that basicaly 3 health states.

  • If you go against killer who has no mobility and no ifo about survivors (you dont know 100% he has some aura reading perk but through the game you can gues like when you hide near gen and he finds you after kicking that he has nowhere to hide etc.) then theres nothing killer can much do then play like 40 meters around hook and if the game is on 1-2 gens left and he has no preasure on hooks then he will stick there and if theres some last gens near hook or highly progressed ones then theres no reason why he should left. If the killer comes from the beginig to the hook then leave after saving and dont heal under (if you heals arent in like 4-8 seconds and you dont want to be chased). Most time survivors claim that I camp is when i break and kick some stuf near hook and Im leaving but some ninja just saves them and only one that makes scratch marks is usualy the unhooked one, savior just hides. Another thing is if i have barbecue and I dont see any auras on killer like huntress then I know everybody is 40 meters around hooked survivor, no way i will go further if i dont have chase.

I really hope it makes a difference. :/ I honestly do. New accounts are easy to get, but after 2–3 times, hopefully a hardware ban kicks in. That’s when it starts getting expensive for the cheaters.
I also don’t know why some reports don’t get any feedback — maybe because someone else reported them earlier and the case was already handled?
Happens to me quite often too, even in really obvious cases, with video proof and all.
I guess someone else reported it before me and the case was already closed. idk

Well we will see what will they do about it in phase two but I still fear it wont be much to stop cheaters, I starting to believe bhvr knows how many cheaters are playing the game and they fear if they ban them the game player number will drop from like 10-20%.

Sure but bugs aside I'm more here pointing out how there's actual counterplay killers have. Most just don't like having to change their strategy or adapt.

Idk whats counterplay this item just makes doublebacking and holding W much stronger against not mobility killers (mobility like blights, ghouls, billys or wraths, vecnas mobility which can killer directly control not like dreadge or sadako).

Bugs aside its hard to tell how good vials are because theres huge amount of bugs that make it more stronger than it should be same with ghoul.

  • @OriginalBlendett said:

Or if you see someone bringing them and have issues with tracking you can bring perks and add-ons to help with that? Spies from the shadow, something that makes you undetectable to help you get the first hit quickly so you can follow the blood trail also helps.

If theres crow then maybe spies wil help but what gets me on them is aurablocking for hooks when you carry as killer and number of bug they cause.

If we had killer bots this for sure would never happen.

Killer bots are like being chased by nemesis zombie only they are bigger and faster and sometimes depends on the killer and ai how its programed to use his power, only bot killer thats good and nuts at the same time is nurse (we saw it in the 2v8 when coconut won some games with her).

  • Havent met that bs only cheaters trying to bait me into thinking they have it but they had different perks, still its probably 3-4 perks for this to work but its busted looks like 95% second chance, they should increase time so you can pick up as killer or have like 8 seconds window to pick up after down and not this bs thats more busted on swf than dead hard even you through the fact you need like 3 perks for it to be effective reminds me of old mettle of man or buckle up + for the people.

Ye, sadly yes. But to be fair to BHVR:
Everything I report (both in-game and through the official website with video proof) usually gets a pretty quick and positive response. So credit where credit is due – they do take action when there's solid evidence.

The problem is that their anti-chat system feels like fighting windmills. This players always find a way to slip through.

What I really wish for is a proper replay function – with the ability to view matches from all perspectives, and ideally with a direct in-game report option tied to specific moments in the replay. That would make reports more accurate, faster, and way less frustrating for everyone.

    Not gonna happen, I know.

Reporting someone on bhvr site is so much time consuming Im doing it in game and its like 50/50 sometimes I report someone because he looked sus like speeding but I didnt chased him and fucus on others and two days later I get message report was successful and he was cheater or other extreme where nea just went into generator and repair it or she was speeding and had no scratchmarks but no perk was there that would do that and she didnt bet ban yometimes it works sometimes dont. Worst thing is there isnt much reward reporting cheaters on bhvr site because they can buy next account under 1 euro/dolar so they most expensive thing are cheats not the game by it self.

  • System failed, but now other thing is for this to happen someone has to unhook you when killer is very close to the hook and then its hard for me to believe you will go down in 10 seconds right after your basekit bt runs out, it can happen but chances for this are low you will most likely make it to some palett or window or your teammate will take bodyblock (depends who is your teammate I know some survivors are just farming rats or super olivious to their surroundings) so chance are in like 20 seconds this can happen normaly if you get to the bad loop like z-wall but still its yout teammate fault because they farmed you, smart player will wait if he can and try to get killers atention not to farm someone dead on next hook thats farming rat right there.

The Bulk Bloodpoint spending feature is a godsend. I love the additional perk and cosmetic loadout presets.

But the bugs. Those darn bugs.

The fact that they shipped a build to live with an obvious glitch in the OFFERING SCREEN is just not acceptable.

Maybe next patch if they will be fast like in two weeks there might be some bug fixes but now enjoy dead by buglight.

I have zero context as to the scene or characters as I've never seen or read Tokyo Ghoul, I'm just ranting because each Ghoul match I've had today has been, in a word, heck. And it's kind've a running joke amongst my friend group that, thanks to Kaneki in DBD, we are never watching Tokyo Ghoul because it'll give us flashbacks.

Dont get touched by it that much, I didnt watch anime but I will stand for that he didnt deserve it. I get mos players hate to face him but thats devs fault they gave him many changes even gave us their opinion what they want him to be and still after many years of experience they cant decide if they want to go with him to the right or left, straight or back they just dancing with the changes like drunk man on the sidewalk.

I think this may just be something we agree to disagree on. You managed to at the very least tie against an optimized 4man swf. That sounds like things were balanced and everything was fair to me. The only thing I really got was that if singularity is so easy someone who barely plays it managed to tie against them then it implies that singularity is too easy of a killer.

You play him as m1 killer which is like 70% of the whole killers base or they can be played as m1 only hard part is know where to set biopods and how to control them, easy he is notthat easy its hard to navigate which direction is which and its easy to loose some seconds doing so which costs you infecting furvivor or teleport through biopod. There arent mayn killers who can go toe to toe against solid swf try it with bubba or huntress and you will find out they cant do the same only try to tunnel and then camp at the endgame when gates are powered but its easy to say just tunnel against swf thats running sabbo + antislugging build they will bet save and then they will bodyblock and if you knock them down they get up in no time, go for boon and they will all heal or do half of the gen minimaly so every decision must be calculated or you will loose.

Farm for it. Be friendly, keep hitting the door to indicate you want a Survivor to go through. Follow them for a grab. Rinse and repeat.

I really don't understand you here. Are you arguing that singularity should be heavily nerfed? You still managed to get ten hooks, at least one kill, and then managed to turn that into two kills on a killer you apparently claim to be bad at since you don't use them often. Like… to put it another way you are essentially saying that "despite not playing a killer I was good at I was only able to kill two survivors, clearly they are the issue." Like you have to understand how that sounds right?

Heavily nerfed for what? He is strong thats fact but swf can make each chase feel like hell with good emp and bodyblock only way I got 10 hooks and 2k was because I knew what they were up too from first save and choose to play dirty against their dirt no mercy or concessions and it was still very hard to get hook against their teamwork and perks plus each time I downed someone and they saved him from my shoulder i had to infect him again to have chance in chase which wasnt easy either. The first kill was because they failed to trick me near shack and missed bodyblock so I got that one guy far as i could from gates, only one could bodyblock other two were injured then they reset and tried to pull save with bodyblock which they almost got if i dint played that corect there was huge chance for them to get 3 or even 4 man out and the entire match felt like childbirth even thoug the mact end up draw. If I had weaker a-tier like wesker then it would be 1-2 at best but my chases would be much longer so they would rush me on gens through pain res and if I played so b-tier like huntress or springtrap then chace for 1k would be still lower for me and their chance to pull save in the endgame even both these killers are good at defending hook would be still very high I only drawed because I played strong killer other would lost with like 5 hooks on 0 gens. Thats just showcase what killers can go toe to toe against strong swfs and still sweat their butt in very stressfull match like this. In my opinion high end killers are ok only s-tiers need to be adjusted and ghoul needs some small changes to be little weaker, singularity, billy even dracula are strong killers but they are hard to play as.

  • Why? She is one of few killers if bhvr could just press delete she wouldnt be existing now just like billy, chucky but unfortenetly they can so they will just do her rework later.

  • @ThanksForDaily said:

To anyone complaining about fog vials, have a tracking issue. I haven't yet lost a survivor using a fog vial.

Its easy to claim this when you clearly play only survivor, killer which are very dependent on tracking like spirit are now in huge disandvantage which means if people will play with them then they will pplay more dirtier way because theres no room for normal gameplay expecting same reasults you had with them untill now.

  • @Brokenbones said:

If I play Clown again following these changes, this will be my philosophy:

    No yellow bottles. I refuse.

They said they made these changes because people were using purples too much/yellow's not enough (despite yellow's taking more skill and prep which was the point of them in the first place).

So, I'll never use them then. Just to prove a point.

Thats terrible philosophy more likely you dont want fallow what they want you to do and thats use more yellow but now there realy no point to use purple (you will use them on loops where you used before yellow same way to set up speed and hinder and then get the survivor ) they cant slow survivor down when he is out of smoke before the hinder ligered sor 2 seconds after he left purple smoke now its second which is nothing and vigil is now meta your slow is best on loops where you can keep survivor in one place drop yellow near or under you hit purple where you want to slow him and push him to get that hit. You should now just play only yellow because theres no real point playing purple now only in few scenarios and they will just cost you more time like it did with yellow. Devs want him to be more strategic with both bottles but thats realy hard to do because holding w is good even against clown and is super time consuming to play both bottles on every loop, now its much better option to use just yellow and have in mind survivors can get speed from them too.

  • They did him bad, real bad now his yellow is good to be spawned and then purple, purple is crap now the 1% nerf isnt the issue the real issue is the hinder basicaly works only in purple smoke (and no they didnt make purple smoke spread further increesing its range that would be to smart for them to do) so when survivor runs from purple he is just after 1 second which is nothing 100% speed and yellow can still be aplied for survivors to. Normaly I didnt agree with everything from content creators but now scot jund claimed clowns will tunnel more and theres nothing surprising abaut that killers with no mobility and weak power (mainly chase/antiloop oriented) tend to do this more because their time to get across map to get new chase with survivor who they know where he is is just huge time waste for them, its much more rewarding to patrol around hook. Now clowns will just pick addons for yellow like that which makes 17% speed buff and will be more tunneling Idk what was bhvr thinking this changes will bring.

I have a reason for the entire roster but I'll limit it to three lol

Huntress - I've never had a very good reason to dislike her. Just fails the vibe check I guess.

Trickster - I'm just going to be totally honest here—he is a fetish (in my opinion). Skull Merchant falls into this category too, but it's always bothered me more with Trickster.

Wraith+Ghostface - Lumping them together because I dislike them for the same reasons. Hard campers and tunnelers with a real sour attitude in general. It's very rare that they're any fun to go against and that's usually on purpose.

The huntress and tricker are both very good proxycampers espicialy in places like hill hooks or basement they left little room to save and can force kills or second state with ease (trickster can destroy multiple survivors he is just something like huntress+bubba hybrid he isnt fast but with main event saving against him is hard).

The wraith and ghostface arent that hot maybe you getting people who play them same way camping and tunneling but wraith is better at this ghostface lacks mobility and can only 99 to down you later (counter it by just hiding or force him to m1 you), both of them are joke without proper builds.

So you acknowledge that the patches have been killer sided for a while?

Depends for what killer if you think some pig buffs are crazy killer buffs than no they arebjust adjusting killer that should been buffed long time ago and some nerfs like ghouls are justiciable I just hope the ones they are planning ( I heard they want nerf vault thing and make kidnap tech intended feature not bug, maybe they cant fix it or they want to) wont send him right to c-tier because they want some likes on twiter. The knights and clowns incoming buffs are just needed they arent favored killers for many survivors but that doesnt mean they dont deserve much needed buff, they are on weaker side of the killers plus pyramid changes for him to be less zonning killer and his addon change in variety ( there were like 2-3 addons that fid actualy something usefull and they were just range addons others were trash) which is good change in my opinion. If they want keep killer variety through all mmr and give some solid buff to survivors in form antitunnel or antislug then they need to make gab between killers like trapper and wesker small as possible so the changes wouldnt touch stronger one at all and would destroy the weaker killers to the point few players would play them (such as skullmerchant or trapper mains on high end mmr).

  • @Trappler said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3972826#Comment_3972826

Well, technically fog-vials don't 100% counter her either, there's a 60 second cooldown you just need to play around it. It's incredibly strong against her but that's just how things go sometimes, like how plague removes any really healing abilities survivors have.

I didnt metion fog vials but I heard they are quite strong, stronger than some bombs fro halloween event. Plague is killer who is much weaker without addons and depends how coordinated is the whole team when she runs thanatophobia, now she got small buff because her pools spawned further from gens because of old chest spawn priority same like xeno tunnels, sadako televisions and many other killer objectives but this was fixed with fnaf chapter now her pools are near gens and not in corner of the map. If the tesm doesnt give her power and she doesnt run strongest addons then its jus game against super talk m1 killer while you are perma injured on one hit down the fun begins when you give her power then its hard to loop her.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3972804#Comment_3972804

I still don't really understand, you are playing a meta build killer presumably because you are in a high MMR and are being paired against opponents who are at your skill level. You also can see survivors items before the match and can counter it by just bringing one of several perks to counter it. It sounds like a case of MMR working and you not being sent against survivors who are below your skill level.

For yor information first kill was when gates were powered and it was on clown map behind shack, the second was only because they were arogant altruistics and thought they will get 4 man out which nearly happened.

For this post I dont play singularity offten and killers I dont play very offten I tend to use more meta perks because I need some time to get effective with them again and I rarely use addons, so I get my build even because I lack power from addons. Another fact is when I see lobby full with same items or names like wesker gir and weskers w….. then I will pick stronger build because probability this team will have some plan or is playing togeather is high or I see the ttv in my lobby has 10k hours and things like that. Last fact is when Im waiting for game to create lobby Im watching some videos youtube or listing to music and writing here so I dont have info about who I go against from lobby.

Ehh… Spirit and Drac are S tier and A tier killers and Drac is only slightly affected. Also they can just lobby dodge, I don't see this as a real argument.

To bait dracula you dont need those perks but on spirit it can make her missplay abd extend chase much longer, there isnt perk that counters killer power 100 % if we dont count dead hard but thats good thing killer power shouldnt be counter by one perk or combo of two perks, only thing that counters some killer powers whole is just coms with call out on trap or some stealth killers like trapper, ghostface.

  • @Trappler said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3972777#Comment_3972777

Sure? A highly coordinated swf team is strong and you still killed two of them. I don't really see the issue considering that you didn't even lose the match. Would you rather they all brought gen rush builds? Sucks that they were toxic in end game chat though, that's not okay.

If I dint havebsome experience and I didnt play as one of top 10 killers with meta build with dirty tactics like tunnel or slughing even when they could counter both wit ease the outcome of the match would be 0-1 kill max. I had hige advantage singularity is good for slugs and map preasure even emp coordination can hinder him with good bodyblocks.

  • @Trappler said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3972768#Comment_3972768

Sure but I don't think it's the most healthy perk for numerous reasons. It's only good in solo-q, there's not much counterplay, and it's not fun. Like imagine if there was a survivor perk that just removed the killers power without any special activation to do so besides do what you were already going to do. One perk should not be able to counter every survivor item and every survivor build that relies on that item. If it had some downside associated with it I could agree but it's just hitting survivors.

The wraith burn with flashlight was a thing like 3-5 years ago I think but killer power cant have easy counter its 4v1 hortor game not csgo but some perks make some huge counters to killer powers like iron will or otr to spitit without daughter ring, or coms to trap killers especialy to trapper just one guy on him can destroy his whole power and iform others where to loop.

  • @MrRetsej said:

Meg with flashlight: Tries to loop the same tile with you, desperate to get a flashlight blind, inadvertently body blocking you and leading to you getting injured/downed.

Vanilla Leon: Rushes in to unhook you while they're injured, proceeds to try to loop the killer around your hook for the next several seconds, guarantees you go to second state, then gets dropped in front of your hook.

Claudette with toolbox: Never actually finishes a gen, is never seen the entire match, but then their aura reveals them crouch walking during end game around shack, waiting for hatch while the rest of the team is dead or on hook.

I think you found biggest killers in this game even stronger than prime nurse with 100% speed and 3 blinks (no prime nurse had 2 basekit and 5 with addons thenog version coudnt blink on stairs or through floors I think).

  • Nurse- she ignores every game deffence mechanic gor survivor and when its pure p100 nurse main with few thousands of hours she can do what she pleases.

Spirit- its hard to read what will she do probably the most unexpected killer in terms of looping, she creates hard 50/50 and when you are injured without iron will or otr then its matter of few seconds she will phase you down. Many spirits I face are just tunnelers when they see you dont fun otr or iron will more than huntres which is one of best ptoxycamping killers in the game.

Last for me is blight he is just ghoul on steorids even ghoul has easy first hit he must loop more and his whole antiloop is enraged vault but blights fast recharge and ability to get easy hits with his speed or catch up same as ghoul but he can hit you when you are injured (ghoul too but with his power hill will give you deep woun) is just much harder to loop, he has quite strong addons and skilled blights are most of killer base in high mmr whis is just showing how strong he is, when I play him its just relaxing game he is not one of easiest killers to play as but his abilities are strong and after few matches with him you wont struggle as normal killer. He was only killer with who I get archives challanges like get mersiles victory (4k) while using only huntress, wraith base perks and even with nurse I couldnt get this because gen speed was fast and her mobility isnt that great as blight even when she can ignore walls.

I've seen it a few times on it's own. Normally as a counter to sabo builds… which were already pretty-much a meme build with how close hooks are now.

Sabbo build on swf is hell I had match with singularity against 4man swf with sabbo antislug team and let me tell you even with strong chase killer and one of better sluggers I had very hard time to get hooks plus they had always one guy on gen so gen speed wasnt much slower considering strongest regression and slowdown perks need hooks only few exeptions dobt like deadlock or corrupt. I get hardly 2k with 10 hooks but game was super hard and sweaty and their toxic coments like ez, or some trash talk about me or my family which is very comon from this kind of swfs wasnt nice either, just one step to choosing stronger killer main who can get them and even when I played larry with meta and I was still struggeling which is like in top 10 strongest killers doesnt leave me many choices to choose from. This king of team is rare to get but when you get it the memories will still haunt you even after twenty 4k matchest or when you see lobby with 4 toolboxes. No it wasnt bad baby hunter team survivors had hours in range from 2k to 6k which isnt bad unexperienced team and their coordination was great looked like they play long time as team.

Thats one of two situations when its not waste for perk slot other is against full items lobby if you think they will run strong items with strong addons, its better than nerfed sloppy butcher.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/452253/so-franklins-was-def-changed-because-of-new-items

Franklin's before the nerf is just a no-brainer EZ 4K perk. 1 perk to negate 4 items with no effort. Now it's just a little weaker. Boo hoo hoo hoo hoo.

Claiming franklins is op and easy 4k perk is just troll post or some baby unexperienced survivor comment. Franklins strongest part isnt forcing items to be dropped but item damage thats why original was ok ( looding 15% of item charges or 10 idk what number it was) that means when one medkit without addons is full heal now after hit its not full heal for free but now its just good for hag gremlin build after nerf or meme trapper thief build. Franklins was good only against teams with full medkits, toolboxes or flashlights and still you risked perk slot if the survivors just run yellow or brown medkits/flashlights with brown addons, only valid use was like against atleast one styptic or bnp/syrange and you as killer cant see addons or item rarity in the loby not even in the match so you only know what item with addons it is after survivor already used it. Stronger killers like a-tiers and above dont care about dtrong items and some can even destroy items like plague against 4 medkits with meta, 4 medkits even against oni arent that op because once he gets power atleast one survivor is hoing down maybe even two or three. This change will affect weaker m1 based killers who are more punished and affected by medkits like the obece that play hit and run killers like wraith, dreadge or sadako will be forced to play in longer chases which will lead to more tunneling gameplay you wont be just hitting whole team and then pickong them up in by surprise but choose two players from team that will be your objective (the weaklins for fast downs) and down others for slugs or for perks such as pain res or grim embrace, no way out etc. which isnt that good either for killer or survivor and will get even more punished after phase two of anti changes. This is mostly about teams with full medkits against some killers but this nerf will effect even the m1 based killers against full toolbox lobbyes or if killer want to deal with full item loby like 2 medkits and 2 flashlights where probability of strong addons is higher because it looks survibors play alone or max duo where if they want highest chance for escape they usualy bring strongest perks and items with addons to have better chance.

For a 9-year-old game who made millions of money, I refuse to believe they still can't handle the changes like this, even if it's spaghetti code..

I hate to be offensive, but these devs are just BLATANTLY LAZY. Not just for this change, but also balance change too, nerf the common used items without actually seeking answer WHY they're used.

Clown's butchered for absolutely no reason because of this. "Pretty good job so far"

They dont look at skullmerchant, chucky, now franklins and I heard they will nerf ghoul vault because kidnap tech isnt considered bug but intended feature now which sounds crazy but nothing I wouldnt believe from bhvr is capable to do such thing after 8 years of experience.

Agreed, as much as I hate to say it, Ghoul will need to be taken down to Chuckey's level (if not lower) before BHVR can safely revert nerfs and buff him without gaining the ire of the shift+w gamers.

Problem is they are bad at fixing killers nerfed to ground only salvation is rework max year after killer has been gutted and that only happens if most of comunity likes the killer or most survivors just cryes that this killer stoped existing like billy who was both loved by comunity and hated by devs ( if they get leatherface sooner he wouldnt even exist thats why overheat nerf came right after leatherface rework with charges) and liked by survivors in term to go against and looping.

I bet most Ghouls can't play Nurse or Blight. If you remember Spirit nerf or any other used to be S tier killer, only those who truly want to main it, kept playing it. Abusers moved to next "abuse". If anything, I would say they will move on Wesker. 2nd brain-dead killer after Ghoul

Nurse isnt that hard killer to play as she is mediocre in skill, she is hard only when experienced survivors like 5k dwight. Blight is hard only with flicks and some textures like invisiable walls but after 20 matches you will do fine with him only difference between him and ghoul is that first hit isnt that easy as ghoul but then you have greater antiloop power with his dashes and catch up after breaking palett, very generous hit in form of shoulder flick which is almost impossible to doge if blight wont missplay it. Wesker is more harder maybe harder than blight if we count what you can pull with each killer, wesker is very generous to survivors with his dashes hitting someone mid vaulting and he wont imedeatly vault behind them only gets stuck behind vault or is forced to use second dash ( thats why he is so easy to bait into vaulting the window like in the shack if he hesitates he wont get any value from his dash only he will slow himself down),each dash has 5,5 seconds cooldown and is more restriced in chase not like blights 4 dashes ( not counting 5 because first cant injure you) with more range and breaking ability, when wesker grabs you and then falls down even from single step or hill ( same thing has demogorgan with charged shread) he will drop survivor with like 2 seconds cooldown whitch is just free escape or open areas like field on coldwind you need some object to slam survivor into or throw into to injure him blight needs to bump into some object but easiest is just when survivor is near some vault and you are like 5-8 meters away just rush near vault and use second dash to get easy hit. Comparing wesker one of hardest killers who is lower a-tier being braindead to s-tiers which are braindead by default and broken with op powers is just crazy like many players miss blights hug tech even when he didnt even needed it to be still second best killer in the game (just look what you needed in skill and experience to pull blights hug tech and what you need to pull wesker one of the hardest even maybe hardest tech in dbd like his instahug tech). Nurse just plays only with her power but ignores all loops and creates her own looping in changing direction and using objects to block view ( los), blight is just super agressive with strong mobility including strong antiloop and wesker is one of well balanced characters in the game he has good strong sides but still big counterplays. Try to play wesker without egg on rounded loop you will find its way to harder the blight and you have only one max two tryes to get hit that have to be perfectly done compare to bligh who can just get power faster and break palett if he missplays and catch up the same as ghoul with more antiloop.
