I'd love to play as the One Man Cheeseburger Apocalypse
-
It's probably just how the game was built; marvel rivals for example let's you whisper to your friends who are crossplayform
-
My hunch is that Blight doesn't really care about perks; he could laugh at getting Distressing whereas Unknown would want to cry

He seems extremely basic. A worse Legion (like Engineer's Fang Pinhead), you could say. His mobility is kind of nice, but his power not being able to down, full stop, is gonna probably kill him for most people. I might not even buy him, or I'll do so only to get his perks. He just seems like he can't do much, and isn't much fun.
Trust me daniel san, John Tokyo is way better than Engineers Feng Pinhead; to prove it, I'll say something controversial yet brave; even pre nerf Engineers Feng was overrated
Kaneki has the mobility to bodyblock a la Wraith/Legion, which immediately puts Kaneki leaps and bounds above that Pinhead.

A killer being 110% automatically makes them unviable these days.
That is true. I won't lie and make claims like old Trickster was good...he wasn't. He sucked.
But yknow, I'm one of the peasants who plays Trickster on xbox; i had fun swapping off m1 killers for a round of Trickster. I was so happy for his buffs but all it did was make me go back to Legion fully
-
DDissolution Is goated on my legion; people who think Legion is a free win and is an ez 5 gen chase hasn't bumped into my Legion
-
Why not Barry Bonds?
-
Dbd will probably be the coolest interpretation of fnaf, love it or hate it.
The actual games offend my poor eyeballs but I can't wait to see the 3d glow up of Springtrap
-
Plz be 110 plz be 110...
-
My favourite walls were the Midwich bathrooms; if you broke one, once in a blue moon you'd instill true horror by having the survivor trapped by the other breakable wall
-
I like going beast mode in M1 chases so things like Enduring, Dissolution, Surge are my staples on Legion. Pallet auto breaks and gen auto kicks helps keep me active and on the prowl

The hatch itself isn't the problem. The problem is that if there are generators that haven't been repaired, and a survivor escapes out an exit gate because hatch was closed, that they might get MMR from it, and the killer might lose MMR from it.
We've gotten confirmation that hatch is zero MMR, but we were never told if gate escapes are worth zero MMR if there are generators that haven't been repaired.
Mmr is a made up invisible number that is meaningless
-
It's just to end the game. In chess, or yugioh, or a fencing you concede when you have obviously lost to be gracious and respect your opponents time/skill.
If there's no hope, people may feel their only form of agency would be to stall until the server closes.
Hatch st least can set up the End Game Collapse.
-
Pain res never should have been reworked. It was called toxic but look how pervasive this new "balanced" pain res is.
-
115 is horrible; if I can just use my bat, why bother with a build up power? I can play literally any other m1 killers
110 trickster forces the knives. Being 115 means he has to be weaker than 110 trickster too
I don't envy the position BHVR is in
-
Both the 110 and 115 trickster crowd are very vocal and passionate about which way trickster should go
-
Just a reminder that the Obsession status had to be made random because killers were metagaming who had anti tunnel perks and who didn't
This mode is terrible
-
I like the new motto "Dead by Daylight" anytime we get RE content
-
I love the killer; they are just very addon and perk reliant.
For example, I could take Legion into Chaos Shuffle and find a new spicy build. If I take Unknown with random perks, I just want to curl into the fetal position until the match is over.
-
It was understandable the first time.
If I'm not rolling Scratch Mirror and Judiths Tombstone then it's not chaotic or shuffley enough
-
Legions pretty clean these days if you kit them up
-
Some events can be fun for solo, like lights out, MLO and last Halloween.
The Rift portals saved my bacon from so many killer team ups it was nuts
-
Easy pass from me then, I need to read the Tokyo Ghoul Manga anyways
-
@BurnedTerrormisu said:
I wonder why i should play it.
Normal incentives , no event tome, no badge, no banner.
So its normal mode just you escape even less because you have no control over your perks?!
Did anything change? Because if the addons aren't random, and you can take offerings, then it's not real chaos. Again. For the 3rd time.

Those would break the pallet…
Automatically, which means you'd funnel the survivor to loop that dropped pallet with no concern of breaking because they either go down before the vault with the help of the slow, or soon after the vault at which point Knockout would have done it's job
That's what I was thinking
-
Here's hoping it never happens to the Ghoul
-
It doesn't work if the pallet is broken? So it turns off? If that's how it works the perk might need some help from Dissolution or something like Iri Button maybe
-
I thought we just got a new NA East server by BHVR HQ in Montreal? I never could have joined otz even if my life depended on it back when I tried during his "the thing" challenge
-
Id sometimes reveal my aura with OoO walking one way then Fixate somewhere else and Quick and Quiet into a locker
After OoO was reworked the timer used to reset when you'd jump into a locker

Yeah, in the past one gen regression or two would do the trick nicely, since individually they would give a nice regression, but since all the important ones have been nerfed, you kinda have to stack them to be able to play the games. I would suggest using my build: Pain Resonance, Dead Man's Switch, Plaything, and Pentimento, as it still provides a nice gen defence.
Might be killer dependent but on Legion all you need is Surge.
Stacking multiple slowdowns these days runs the risk of magnifying games where you start in a losing position; reducing your downtime can be just as valuable as reducing the value of survivor uptime, or sometimes you need something to breakthrough and punch through survivor defences
Take Oni for example; if he's being denied 1st hit entirely by SWF running Finesse he could lose before ever using pain res pop grim etc. But if he had literally anything else like a random Enduring or Fearmonger maybe a health state could have been secured much sooner, allowing the ball to get rolling.
YYour Build is powerful, don't get me wrong.
-
I'm almost afraid to like him because he looks really decent. I'm scared to lose him already
-
I'm a 100% BP main so I have no allegiances
I'll play solo if I feel like playing survivor, and SWF when the dbd friends list rats me out.
There's an ebb and flow to it all. Some events, like Halloween had me spamming Wolf Only Dracula, and the anniversary had me just ignoring how rich everybody was by spamming Weave Franklins. Then there's events like Light's Out and My Little Oni which caught my interest more for survivor.
Right now I'm only SWFing because I'm not playing on my own. I've been taking a Lil break, but now I definitely am with Kaneki on the way.
-
Fixated/Lethal Pursuer are perfect for and against Pinhead; Fixated gamers are the equivalent of Hope gamers. Lethal is training wheels but that perk is mandatory imo for your first time diving into Box Logic.
For the Unknown their best perk synergies lie in a combination of info+ stealth. The unknowns own Unforeseen was custom made for the Unknown. This by extension makes Nowhere to Hide insanely good on them. Revealing the Unknown to force them into being a Huntress hurts them a lot since they can no longer attack from an Unknown angle
-
After watching Tokyo Ghoul due to dbd i can say they did right by TG; you can tell BHVR cares enough about respecting the source material by the way they Yoichi'd The Ghoul.
-
With the changing of map offerings soon, is this not redundant?
Sure, Erie is one of my most disliked realms right now besides Azarovs and Nostromo but it's only a bother because people premeditate the Crows Eye. If we just go there it's no big deal.
-
I can't think of any, tbh. Maybe The Game with its pallet density but based off my limited ptb viewing I think he'll mostly be OK everywhere? (Assuming zero addons)
I was dying to see how Kaneki would play on Lerys and seeing Hens play it, I'm not super worried about indoor levels. Okay...maybe Hawkins. Maybe.

saying majority of players are on console without any proof is wild
Dbd was free on PS and is available for anybody to play on Gamepass. I myself don't even own dbd
-
@BritneyMitch said:
Nobody plays Overwatch 2 and nobody would play DBD 2 imo.
That would implying overwatch 2 is a sequel and not a cash grab way to weasel out of legal obligations. A dbd 2 would be an investment to help player retention stick and make the game bigger than it ever could be now.
-
Wouldn't surprise me, but it'll all come down to metagaming the launch. I predict despite what the internet may loudly declare, Kanekis gonna be crazy popular for weeks
Maybe he'll be as popular as Artist but I give it one day before we see posts complaining about how we only see the new killer

It has been one day. A killer is allowed to be complicated before y'all come sprinting to the forums begging for buffs to a killer that likely doesn't need them, like folks did with Houndmaster and Singularity.
Seriously, please can we start letting things settle before we overbuff them?
Thank you for being the voice of reason

There's speculation that they're planning on doing this to more realms too, on Toba Landing and Dead Dawg. Those two maps do not need shack-only variants.
I honestly think a Shack-Only variant in order to nerf a realm is the most boring way possible to go about it. At least add some sort of notable landmark like pre-rework Shelter Woods had. Throw in like a big old pyre covered in skulls or something.
They better not touch the most perfect and balanced map in dbd, toba landing.

Ran into this sometimes in 2v8 and found out some streamers also doing this.
In 2v8 100% of killers run Nowhere to Hide so it makes sense. Killers also didn't have the time to question things very hard so "gen=regressing? Nobody home move on". You just had to keep the Call of Brine in mind.
It's working as intended. It's just...not much of a good reason to normally.
-
I can't wait to try knockout on Ken kaneki
-
I'm dying to know myself
-
II'm Liking what I see I'm getting as good a feeling off kaneki as I did vecna on the ptb
This guy's gonna cook
-
Guess I'm gonna have to go back to spending BP at 2 million while passed out again
II'm Gonna be so well rested for this event
-
Not gonna miss being hit by PC exclusive attacks
If Oni needs help I hope he'll get something in exchange
-
LLegion With iri button and glasses or filthy blade + Surge, Dissolution, Ensuring, and Genetic Limits or Fearmonger
I don't respect pallets I just love m1 gaming :)

I like playing Playlists of show openings it helps get my creative juices flowing, as well as putting me into a certain mindset, thinking of the old days.
Lately I've been down the Dragon Ball rabbit hole, trying to sort memories in my head from the 90s. I've suffered from false memories soim trying to dig deep into that rabbit hole.
My latest Playlist had the 1989 Harmony Gold opening, the 1995 BLT opening, and the 2000s Funimation OP. Harmony Gold was pretty bad at parts but some of the 80s vibes resonates with me.
But man, I nearly exploded when I uncovered the Blue Water opening, that was my Canadian childhood right there. Hearing that after 20 years basically left me slugged on the ground for a straight hour.
I'd love to post links rn but I hate cellphones, which is how I post here when I should be working.

I got wrecked by Mr Tatorhead and I can confirm he is nice.
