Give him a unicycle ability to dash to a gen or a certain distance, bit like Freddy's teleport. While laughing with his sexy voice of course.
Make the yellow bottles not as clumsy to use as they are now. Switching between bottles fails half the time because the tapping doesn't work properly.
Separate charges for the tonic and antidote.
Buff the bad add-ons and rework pinky finger.

Only thing I noticed when crossplay was implemented is that PC killers tunnel console players a lot because they think they are easy prey. And when you loop them 3-5 gens and after first hook DS their ass they get so mad.
Also some survivors are more annoying to some players (hate the voice etc.) so maybe that's it. And even after the object of obsession was reworked, killers still love to tunnel the sh*t out of the object user.

Pretty crazy amounts. Could you write down how you got these numbers?
My calculation:
1 transaction ... 167 kWh
10000 transactions ... 1670 MWh
1 MWh ... 950 kg of CO2 (coal plant)
1670 MWh ... 1586500 kg of CO2
1 tree absorbs ... 14kg of CO2 per year
It takes 113321 trees to cover all this CO2 in a year.
Average household in US uses 10MWh electricity in a year. So the energy needed for 10000 transactions could cover 167 households electricity for a year.
Pretty crazy.
TricksterShadow calculated it and shared it on Twitter. So not official source by any means. Probably a different source or a calculation error.
Still, your numbers are huge too.

How does it drain so much energy? I'm genuinely curious.
Also no, I'm not a climate change denier and I don't feel it's necessary to close with a backhanded remark like that.
Cryptocurrencies are mined with very powerful and energy consuming computer "farms". Firstly, energy and raw materials are wasted on the computer parts used to mine the crypto. Then all the electricity which the computer farm consumes causes certain amount of emissions depending on the energy source it's produced from. Lastly, every transaction that takes place, the blockchain verifies it through all the past transactions all the way back to the origin, which is increasing the consumption and emissions through the roof. That's what I've read multiple years ago, and I don't probably remember every little detail but that's a simple version of it pretty much.
All this for a futile, scam currency. Only practical solution for NFTs I've heard would for it to be used to certify stocks and even then that same can be done with a legally binding piece of paper.
I hoped that you aren't a denier and thank you for being a reasonable human being who actually wants to understand stuff. I've just been reading so much ignorant sh*t from people in the last couple of days that it's making me lose hope for the humankind. I apologize for my rough words.

For horror vibes I've been playing Tormented Souls and Them & Us.
As a roguelike fanatic I'm waiting for the latest Isaac DLC to come to console. While waiting I've been playing Hades and Slay the Spire.
Also streams of modded RE and Dark Souls are very entertaining to watch.

I don't know why people are so mad about the NFT, just don't buy it. I don't understand the issue.
The 10 000 Hellraiser NFT transactions cause enormous CO2 emissions. It would require 8.5 million trees to be planted to negate them.
That's why people are so mad. It doesn't matter if people who care don't buy it. This world has enough selfish ######### who will buy this ######### and the rest of the world pays the price for 10 000 people's stupidity.
During my lifetime, I want to try to make the world so that future babies and animals have a habitable planet earth.
I hope you understand the issue now, unless you are one of those less intelligent people who believe there's no such thing as global warming.

Yes, it's my job to reproduce a bug and use my limited free time to make a video for a forum member, instead of the developers to investigate this and fix it if it's a bug. Get a grip.
I don't know what your problem is. Reporting a bug is not going to harm anyone.

It most certainly isn't latency. It has happened to many streamers and they have wondered about it. My ping is always 50 ms and I have wired 200M internet connection. It's not latency. If you don't believe me, go test it on KYF.

I wouldn't be surprised if this isn't even a bug.
Nurse is the most broken and overpowered killer in the game. It also happens to me that she can hit before she has finished her blink. It's very frustrating. Nurse needs a major rework anyway. Usually my games against the nurse don't last too long, because usually when survivors hear the first blink survivors immediately disconnect.
I don't like to do it myself, but I don't blame them. Nurse is just overpowered and broken, 0% fun...
@R2k said:
It's not just she can hit. She can 180 before her blink animation ends and when u think u dodged her this BS happens.
Yep. And people think she's fair when she isn't, at least with these bugs. She isn't even that hard to play, especially on PC she isn't very hard to learn. And most nurses are the sweatiest killers this game has.
I really don't understand how people were complaining about spirit when nurse is in the game, I'd rather face 10 stridor spirits in a row than a nurse.
I too kill myself on hook when facing her.
-
The first week of MMR was awesome, now it's started to get worse and worse every day. Nothing but Blights with alchemist's ring and speed and Nurses with range and recharge facing full meta perk survivors using BNPs and styptic medkits who then DC on first down or leave the solo to die on first hook. Solos are just collateral damage between sides. I'm sad. :(
-
And they left MD ring (her strongest add-on) untouched while changing father's glasses (one of her most fun add-on that wasn't too strong).
-
Majority of experienced players (killer and survivor mains both) with over 3000 hours thought that the kick up dust was too much.
It's better this way, since if the directional phase sound is enough to nerf her but not destroy her, that's awesome. Small steps -> less chance to screw up.

Yea but with Oni I dont find it as a big issue tbh. Blight is more dangerous and how often do you even get value out of Oni 180 anyway. 90 is enough for me to use at least
Sure, I can see that, but it's more the principle that matters. I hate when anyone gets treated unequally. Blight is pure BS with the flicks too. And Nurse for that matter. Console survivors can't make as sharp turns to avoid those BS flicks as a M&KB survivor can. No matter the platform, every player should be able to make the same degree of maneuvers as the other one.

RPD actually isn't bad for survivors. Most of the survivor players just haven't taken the effort to learn the map. It has a few super ######### pallets, a lot of fair pallets, about 5 strong pallets, 5 god pallets and a god loop with a window and a pallet. Plus it's fricking huge.
-
If I remember correctly, in their Q&A in September or October last year, they said that they had dropped the ball with the early game collapse.
BHVR mostly makes meaningless changes (in my opinion) that no one asked for and F's up the changes people do want.

I think it's a good start but lowering the graphics will only mask the issue.
if they still intend to fix it, but are lowering graphics to buy more time, that's fine. This isn't a solution tho
That's very true.
We just have to wait and see what kind of impact this has if any.

I don't know, but this doesn't make BHVR look very good to say the least.
Current gen console players are kinda out of options.

I suggest everyone goes to sign this petition made by Otz:
BHVR, please add a low-graphic setting for consoles in DBDIf this doesn't help, I'm afraid nothing will.

I have seen it, but I think that makes it harder tbf. If it was an issue that is common to all users on a certain platform, then the issues would be easier to identify. But since it varies even amongst similar platform users, the underlying factor may not be easily identified
I do agree that BHVR isn't great with communication (color blind fiasco left a sour taste), but I think they have been better when compared to previous times. I actually appreciated the 5.1.0 delay announcement. When the "next week update" time was coming up, they provided an update almost the same day.
I'm not defending them at all, I just think their coding across multiple platforms is a hot mess. I think they are splicing new codes into the messy nest which affects another issue since they are all connected (like pallet bugs).
Its either they need more people to just focus on going through all the coding (they can't afford a health patch and taking 6 months between DLC) or start planning for DBD 2 from ground up.
I agree with you on all of that. I'm also pretty sure it's the spaghetti code that causes all the problems and they just don't either have the knowledge or enough staff to fix them while pushing out new content way too fast.
Their best dev, who actually communicated with the player base and was a professional programmer, left BHVR last Friday. And now they lost their first license. Every month I get more and more pessimistic about the direction this game is going.

Console Problem Ignorance?
You know all patches have to be submitted to the respective companies (Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft) before being released to ensure the patches that BHVR puts through doesn't break the system itself. They delayed the 5.1.0 patch on the Switch most likely because the fix had issues with the system.
They compensated with BP and rift shards for the delay. They disabled video capture on the Switch, but it has been running close to perfectly since the release.
I don't know what system you are on, but they have been doing pretty good on Switch (its too dark, but that's a separate issue)
You are a lucky one then if you don't have any problems anymore. But that's not the case with most of the console player base. I'm lucky I got PS5 and don't have to suffer, but I'll still criticize BHVR for such a poor optimization.
I'm sure you've seen the now 95 paged thread about console optimization problems in these forums. And it's not only last gen consoles, it's started to affect mid/high-end PCs as well. BHVR doesn't communicate and they haven't fixed the problems permanently since the problems come back every other patch.
-
I could, I've had the same 1000 auric cells for almost two years which I've used to buy the rift every time. Which means I would have to buy more auric cells if I wanted to continue to buy the rift and buy the ST cosmetics.
So no, I won't buy anything because that would mean I have to give BHVR money, which they don't deserve because of their terrible communication with the community and console problem ignorance.
-
Offensive ones which would just be [BAD WORD] here in the R-rated game's forum.
-
Jeff as the Circus Strongman Trapper.
Jane as the Mother Bear Huntress or Maggot Plague.
-
I agree with you that the devs don't give a rat's ass about console, especially old gen console. And I'm very disappointed about that too. It's wrong and they don't even have the courtesy to somehow compensate these awful issues to console players. Developers ignore console optimization questions in their streams. All the info goes through mods and the twitter guy.
I suggest just not buying anything and maybe not even playing. They do not deserve money from console players.
I have a fix for your input binding problem though. Go to options -> input binding and in the "interactions" menu change "actions" button to a different one than R1, I use square and it's worked fine. Keep "pick up item/interactions" as R1.
-
Because J-flicks and other unintented BS is unfair against console players.
Console survivors can't dodge it and console killers cannot do it because controller.
Console players are second class to BHVR.
-
So, I can confirm after playing yesterday and today multiple hours;
The lag has arrived on PS5. Great job BHVR. Great job.

I mean shes 100% beatable, just takes mindgames from both ends to make the job as hard as possible, but that's just me.
You cannot mind game a god nurse. You can mind game a mediocre or a good nurse.
A god nurse is beatable by a tournament squad, a good nurse is beatable by a good SWF using E-key and others crutches and a mediocre nurse is beatable by solo survivors.
I'm done playing against her, because even if I could last against her a gen or two, it doesn't matter when 80 percent of the survivors go down in 10 seconds.
-
She is broken and there's no point even trying when facing her, especially in solo queue. Her range and recharge add-ons as well as her post-blink lunge need a nerf.
Or she should be reworked completely. But then the devs would probably make her PH 3.0/Nemesis 2.0 where you get hit no matter what you do or something like that.
That being said, majority of the killer roster needs buffs, maps need to be made more fair and SWF needs tweaks as well.
-
Plague. She still has the most unique power in the game, her aesthetic is very good and her lore is heartbreaking. She also has very good perks which also compliment her power very well. Her chapter was just awesome, all around very well designed.
As for survivor, it's tied between Meg and Jeff. Their perks suit their lore well and they look as they should look. Dwight is right behind them, sad that he's getting ruined soon by the graphical update.
-
They F'd up with Nemesis. While not OP, he's still very annoying to go against and sometimes even unfair. And the zombies are so cheap.
Nemesis is my new, well, nemesis. I hate playing against him. It's never fun and always just frustrating. I never thought the devs would manage to make a killer more annoying/stupidly designed as Legion or Freddy.
-
As long as the aim dressing and terrible map design (Badham, Haddonfun, The Game etc.) is in the game, bloodlust is fine. Maybe get rid of tier 3, but 1 and 2 are definitely needed in this game. If you know how to loop and force killers to break pallets, bloodlust is a non-issue.
-
Usually it's not super hard to catch them, but it might take longer than with survivors that don't have IW. If they are very good and unpredictable, just don't chase them or chase them without using your power and wait for the bloodlust to kick in, BUT ONLY if you're in a spot you can afford to do so.
Good replacement perks for Stridor are Bloodhound or Spies from the Shadows or the add-on Father's glasses.
But yeah, this change feels stupid since it makes a niche perk (for other killers) a complete trash now while making an already meta perk even more stronger. And they still haven't fixed the footstep sounds, not having injured sounds without IW and other sound bugs.
And I'm betting that after the change, the forums will be full of threads people crying nerfs to the Stridor replacements I mentioned above.
-
I play all the survivors but Nea has 43 since I P3-50d her. Across all survivors I have 184 cakes.
I have 15 for Trapper and only 8 for Plague since they already were P3-50 all perks. PH has 43 now since I prestiged him. Across all killer I have 237 cakes.
I also have probably over 200 third and fourth anniversary cakes left across all my survivors and killers.
-
Only reasonable nerf to SWF that doesn't affect solos is a shared perk pool. Only one DH, BT, Adrenaline, DS etc. in an SWF team is enough for them to still dominate matches.
50 or 100 percent extra BP for killers per SWF member is also a good motivation to play an unfair match.
Overall the game needs some kind of early slowdown, but apparently the devs have abandoned that idea.

Reason #1 makes no sense, if more people are playing Survivor then survivor queues get longer and killer queue gets faster.
Reason #3 was true maybe a month ago. Today Nemesis is uncommon, not barely seen like Hag or Billy but hardly "everyone wants to play him." Most common killer right now is Wraith.
You misunderstood what I wrote.
That is USUALLY the case, but not now since the game is so buggy that it is unplayable for console players. So after the RE patch which broke the console version of the game there is not a lot of console survivor players, which makes killer queues longer.
I hope I explained it clearer now.
-
It's very sad to see console players get treated as a second class players. BHVR has proven this time and time again that they always consider PC first.
Crossplay should never had been enabled in the current state of the game for consoles. Console players have always been at a disadvantage because of FPS, lag, aim dressing being worse with controller and no M&KB support. They could have implemented crossplay so that different consoles could choose to play with each other only excluding PC. But they didn't since we only exist for making PC queues shorter. Console players are also ridiculed for being worse players in the community while ignoring all the disadvantages and problems they face with normal game mechanics. There's even fog whisperers that openly insult every console player they encounter and BHVR is a okay with that.
The fact that they acknowledged the optimization problems only after it affected PC tells more than anything. And that they extended the event but still end it before fixing performance is a big middle finger for everyone having problems. Not one console player should ever white horse BHVR. All that's happened should be enough reason for BHVR to give a lot of auric cells, shards and BPs exclusively for console players and extend the event so that they can also play it for a month like everyone else.

True, but this topic is not about 1 person escaping record, but rather all 4. 🙂
Well they 4-man escaped almost always and I think there was over 30 streak for all of them escaping. Vods would confirm the exact number.

I know the Streamer and I dont think they deranked. I played against them multiple times (granted, not during their Streak) and almost always got them. They were not playing seriously all the time, but those long Streaks are only possible in a 4 man SWF when the whole team is basically dying to get one person out.
And if you want Streaks that big, you have to bring the best Stuff like Keys or Map Offerings. Otherwise it is not possible to escape that often, those are absolute edge cases.
@Topic:
I doubt that there is anything like long Streaks for 4 man escapes. At max, tournament squads would be possible to do that, but those usually dont play in Public Matches, so I doubt that this ever happened. As I have written above, Survivor Streaks are usually only obtained by Individuals in 4 man SWFs, if everyone dies to get this one person out.
They did derank, because I watched them 3 days in a row and at the end of the stream he was rank 4-6 depending how much he pipped and at the start of the next stream he was rank 9-10 and it was not 13th of the month in any of those streams I watched.
And of course they have to use strong tactics, but especially the deranking is disgusting and toxic and at least for me, it takes all the credibility away from it.
-
One Swedish streamer has a world record of something like 250-300 escapes in a row, but they used very cheap tactics so not nearly as impressive than let's say No0b3.
They deranked to green/purple every day, used keys, map offerings, DS/UB/Adrenaline/SB/DH, the streamer played Blendette and his teammates were toxic as hell towards the killer to derail the attention off of him. It was mostly just bully simulator and gen rushing, so mostly disgusting and not impressive at all.
As for my personal record, I had a 20 escape streak in green/yellow ranks and 16 escape streak in red ranks as a solo survivor.
-
Reason 1: Majority of PS4 player base (which is almost as big as PC player base) plays survivor and since PS4 is literally unplayable right now (as are XBOX and Switch) there is not enough survivors.
Reason 2: Some survivors play almost exclusively killer during the event because of more BP.
Reason 3: RE chapter brought a lot of new players and everyone wants to play Nemesis.
-
Nurse by a long shot.
Blight is second but far behind nurse.
-
Billy, who was the most balanced killer in the game.
Billy, who is now punished for using his power.
Billy, against who a win or loss felt deserved.
Billy, who I encounter almost never anymore.
Billy, whose players are almost always good, fair and can stop to meme for a 10 seconds; the best kind of killer players in this game.
Billy, oh how I miss the old you.
-
I just say to myself "f*ck it" and run WGLF (always for extra points) and let a perk roulette choose the other 3 perks. And then I play very cocky (but not toxic). It usually works.
Usually I don't play killer when feeling depressed since it usually just makes it worse but if I do it's Plague with iridescent seal and tinkerer, Hag with water-logged shoe and scarred hand or tiny terror radius (M&A and double calm) Doctor.
-
Same thing on PS5.

Yup, all of you guys are entitled as hail. Everybody demands instant fixes but you guys have no idea how difficult and slow going it is to find the cause of bugs, much less fix them. Yes, I get it, some of you fools spent huuuundreds of dollars on this game. That's on you, they can end support of this game at any time and you couldn't do anything about it. Its 5 years old. I've spent a total of $30 on this game and have all the killers. Game was free, all non licensed killers obtained with shards, and licensed killers obtained during half off sales. Just to show you how much its on you for spending all that money.
Instant?!! Two and a half years is instant?
Well if you say so, then I guess it must be true.
