I was under the impression that this update introduced timeouts when someone Dced. So I've tested it twice and have yet to be placed in timeout.

They'll start with the timeouts on thursday! :)

  • I got this on Badham, in the basement as well. Don't remember which Badham though.

Oh wow, thanks! I forgot walking is not considered as "being in a chase". I haven't tried that yet โ€” I'll give it a go because it seems like this will help me counterplay killers who do this! ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ˜

I'm glad I could help, somewhat! Good luck in your games dude! :D <3

    Prologue: Counterplay

How do I punish a killer who refuses to break the pallet and uses Bloodlust to catch me?

I tried using a safe pallet loop to make them break the pallet, but if it's not the killer shack pallet, they still catch me due to their insane speed.

I don't want to stun them because knowing my luck, I'll likely get hit through the pallet.

So, I'm requesting some advice, what should I do to counterplay a Bloodlusting killer? I feel like I'm missing something when I play as a survivor. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿค—

You could try walking! If you walk instead of run at certain loops (for example: When the killer is strafing to try and get you to go one way around a loop, or to get bloodlust easier), it denies the killer of bloodlust. That is until you have to actually run, where the killer gets bloodlust... But it helps for a little while!

And if you can: Try to leave loops fast, that way you don't waste any time around a loop where you cannot deny the killer of bloodlust. Try to move from loop to loop, and try to use pallets only when necessary. Using pallets when the killer is pretty close usually gives you a stun, or you can get hit through the pallet (which is a risk, but it could be worth it).

I don't see how this is proof of a nerf. Why are you walking into a clearly swinging Oni? If this happened in a legit match the survivors brought it on themselves. And unlike Leatherface, you barely move when it happens, so it isn't nerf worthy.

Agreed, and like I said: We were all just joking around. I just happened to stumble upon the other 3 survivors huddled up in that jungle gym with The Oni right behind them. This does not prove that The Oni will be nerfed, nor that he needs one. I just wanted to share this awesome moment and knowledge about his power! :)

  • Legion, Ghost Face, Nurse and Demogorgon are my favorites. Choosing one is too hard!

  • *Gets into struggle-phase*

*Dc's instead of just not struggling*

    ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  • They should revert Ghost Face back to his PTB self. This overperformace is getting out of hand!!!!!

  • Yo this ######### slaps! I can totally imagine myself running from Legion/Playing Legion with this music, and enjoying every second of it.

Also, while we're on the topic of unique chase music for killers: Check out Jon Rob's Spirit chase music on YouTube, it's suuuuuuuuuuper good!

  • Look at this dood, what a clown. Complaining about Vommy Mommy's way to feed the survivors quality stomach acid.

Smh my head this is so awful I'm gonna disable my organs. ๐Ÿ˜ค

  • I mostly thought of the ebony mori. Otherwise I don't have any problems with them :)

  • They should just reduce the time of endgame. 4 minutes is a bit too much for both sides imo.

  • Sorry that i'm late to the party, got stuck in an infinite loop, greetings fellow Legions!

  • The whole 'all of your power depleting after 1 missed swing' is too much. Literally no other killer gets punished this hard for missing. I personally think Nurse, Plauge and Spirit are good examples of how ######### Legion really is.

Nurse gets fatigue yes, but after that she can just teleport again, it's basically a pallet stun and then she's up and about again.

Plauge is slow while charging, and canceling purge as well, but you can still start her power right after canceling or using purge. It's kind of similar to Nurse with not really having a cooldown.

Spirit needs to wait until her power is fully recharged before using it, but she doesn't get stunned while coming out of phasewalking or when canceling. Her power gauge also gets recharged pretty quick, and she moves crazy fast (dunno if the movement speed on Legion will help them with FF, so take the crazy fast part with a grain of salt.)

Legion will get stunned (or whatever you want to call it) by either canceling or depleting FF, and then you have to wait for It to recharge fully. While you wait, you cannot do anything except being an M1 killer, everything that made Legion interesting gets deleted out of existance for a couple of seconds, and then you're (probably) good to go again.

The problem with this is that Legion gets punished way too much time wise for using their power, because one wrong step and you have lost a lot of valuable seconds to a chase or whatever else you're doing. It feels like you are better off just using FF to travel across the map (I started of by playing Legion like this and it is not as fun as to use FF to apply deepwound to multiple survivors imo), it takes away everything cool and unique Legion had to offer with FF.

Everything else regarding this update is pretty neat though, but this is the thing that bothers me the most.
