How the hell is Zekeo still up and running? That guy should have been IP permabanned and if he would go for another account, hunt down and banned again...IP permabanning won't work and is easily bypassed for several reasons. If you're on a shared ip say college dorm or apartment etc you ban everyone. There's other ways to effectively ban someone but those are pretty closely guarded. As far as Youtube etc yes he should get banned.
Well then, I checked his videos (if he is really still up and running). He even shown several times his steam ID, for being cocky ass as he is.
Behaviour could go for Youtube and flag his videos.
Do something.This is pathetic.....

There is a way to report players for cheating. The fact that you don't see insta-bans is what makes you and other people believe that reports don't work. Guess what? I want to be heard. So tell me the way to report players for cheating? In game? How to do that with video proof?
I have no interested to be jury or executioner, I want devs starting to take anti-cheat protection seriously and guess what? They don't. Pls point me to the judges. I want to have their time to hear me out and get them my evidence....Yes, I know you want to be heard. It's the same with everyone who names-and-shames or posts "how-to" guides for hacks and exploits. They want to be heard, and they think the best way to do that is to break the rules and help damage the game further. Fact is, it just gets you banned.
They do take anti-cheat protection seriously. EAC works just like VAC, in that it looks for known cheats and the basic fundamentals of how cheating works. New cheats are added to its database so they can be properly found. The devs have explained time and time again how to report cheaters. If you really want to learn, go watch their streams until you find the right one; the most recent one where they explain it.
Wow. Ok so I am the villain here, doing damage to the game. Good to know. I am somewhat disgusted to be honest. Oh, and I watched those streams thats why I am posting this. They even admitted system is reworking and mostly not working properly now but sure, you can report in game. Stefan Horwath said they think about adding possible video reports but its under "thinking". Period.
I added possible solutions and workarounds about it. I dont want to break rules but having those people hacking indiscramentely for months is just disgrace.
Meh. I should know better to go there, hacking is apparently legit. I guess I'll just leave game with hacker next time. Would be best to not do "damage to the game further"

My post got deleted too. I caught speed hacker on video, provided steam ID etc. I even found on steam forum guy who had same experience as me, adding his video of that hacker too. Naming and shaming should not be appling to posts with proofs, now it just protecting hackers.
I guess its really time to move to another game. Civ 5 comes to mind. Devs not care about protection of fair players....

Exhaustion no longer recovers when running. First of all, this is a pretty weak nerf to Sprint Burst and a big nerf to all the other exhaustion perks. Why not just make it so exhaustion recovery takes longer when running? Instead of 50% longer, bump it up to 75%? And make Sprint Burst only trigger after 3 seconds of running. That way it's still incredibly useful but requires strategy and timing. Plus, no more wasted Sprint Bursts when your finger slips and hits the button for a fraction of a second.
I understand that these perks need nerfs, but why does it have to go right to the extreme? At least test out more subtle nerfs first. If it's not enough, tweak the values again.

Oh, welcome to DbD. Must be new there. THERE ARE ALWAYS EXTREME NERFS AND MAKEOVERS but this one would actually makes them game more balanced and if you are annoyed, maybe you should switch to killer side. Or maybe play another game entirely. Civ 5 comes to mind. Nuff said

Why not use DbD soundtrack or similar tune?Also I would argue that you don't get some random electronic songs on dev backed tournaments, anywhere anytime. Or that you would let yourself several times talk over a very loud music.
I get it. This is like a first big community tournament officially supported but still, these guys were just miss. -

I made a thread having similar issue with Space casting the tournament - unprepared, unprofessional and having wierd attitude about casting. Loud music intermezzos and more.
I kinda lost it when the guy on the screen said he doesnt care about negativite feedback (I would see it about insults but otherwise not), its just good viewiers count for him anyway. I was astonished and sad at the same time.

Anybody with experience with this game and being able to actually stream in professional settings, really. I don't want to be all negative. Its great that BhVR is trying to push it on the big screen but these guys from SpaceEsports was just a mistake IMHO.

Yeah, I can feel your pain. I would even say that to most builds you got to include Ruin. Also the totem spawning and totem mechanic in general is chucpe. There are maps where totem positions are just not right - next to the generators or survivor spawn, open area shining and very noticeable from far away.
Its like two days ago when I actually spawn as a survivor like 10 metres to the totem. STILL not fixed. -

Hmm CS:GO comes to mind (ik extreme case with lootboxes) but still no for me. Also I think the prices would be then subject to a supply and demand of the market, some profits would go to Valve etc.
I see some benefits to a common folk but think devs would dislike that

If you are a new player on the other hand, you should go with basic Claudette since Self Healing is meta perk anytime, anywhere - prolonging your life, not depending that much on others and provide another source of clearing nasty debuffs and nightmare from Freddy

Yeah, I think there should be Solo Mode for ranking as you wouldnt get artificaly boosted by SWF advantages as VOIP and such. Anyway, if devs wont like to split community, there at least should be BP compensation for accepting playing against SWS for killer
