Isnt almost every killer getting destroyed by the 4man comp squad?
As far as ive seen, Dracula seems fairly balanced right now. Strong but not overtuned.
If this is your feedback, why not post it in the feedback section?
a nurse thats good, no, bring back her ranged addons though they were fun

They did that huge perk update like…a year ago
I was kind of hoping that was a sign of things to come because there are a lot of meh perks but alas…
They know whether or not a perk will be good, make something interactive but also cool and fun like that potentional energy perk, alot of these perks are just smoke and mirrors,

Honestly I think map size is mostly fine now. They reduced the size of most outdoor maps recently and now they're fine. Right now I think the only changes some need are Indoor maps. Gideon Meat Plant needs a whole rework so it's not just 1000000 Pallets, Lery's needs a rework so it's not 1000000 vaults, etc.
Ormond is still a hell hole, and survivors keep putting offerings for it

I don't agree. I play both killer AND survivor and I think they are good as it is. You win some, you lose some. Though Lampkin Lane is even a bit small I think. It is ok for gens, but the endgame….
Thats not a solution

While this is true for the killers who lack some mobility, it brings in other problems. Gens get spawned in even closer together, totems become more predictable so hex's get found even quicker, tiles are made closer so chaining them together is even easier, things like that.
Bro hawkins and midwich dont have this problem, some maps are way to big for a game like this

i like going against nurse too. You don't have to trip about teammates using up the resources because all of the counterplay rely on your movement. At least she actually get punish for missing unlike over drive billy
Is this comment parody? no one likes going against a semi decent nurse

it won't take over dbd because dbd has better killer gameplay and better survivor gameplay but there is a little bit more depth in texas massacre for survivor stealth gameplay, something that dbd could easily put into the game but chooses not to do that.
I've had more fun playing killer in TCM, it just feels more fair too because you arent getting tunneled or camped supposedly, if you die you just die, it removes that human nature of people playing like a holes because they can

Have you played killers without anti-loop lately? It pretty much feels like torture, especially with everyone running WoO, the gameplay loop for you will be, run to a loop, survivor circles around it for 2-3 times, drops the pallet, you break it, he goes somewhere else. And don't give me the same talk about playing around the pallet instead of breaking it cause you can only do that for like 20% of the pallets on a map.
It's miserable playing anything without anti-loop, even playing Doctor, that has a minor anti-loop option, sitll sucks.
I'd be fine with the anti-loopers being nerfed if WoO gets dismantled
The reason i bring this up because for these" uninteractive killers" every pallet or loop is played the same exact way every single time, you just predrop a pallet early for clown or else he'll beat you to the pallet everytime bc of bottles

yeah, these people speak so confidently about things they have no idea of.
they think chase in dbd should be streamlined and entirely depend on one side entirely with no risk for them, so if they just get good enough, they'll win every single time which is how they define skill expression. that's not how things work or should work. look at nurse.
they often fail to recognise or just outright ignore the situations where killer must take a risk and "guess" in order to win the chase as fast as possible which is where survivor can make a play, guess (aka make a read - prediction what the killer might do) and win more time and instead focus on situations where the killer has full control over them getting a hit as they already got close enough to survivor.
I think people just want to be able to use their skill expression bro, theres literally nothing fun about getting tunneled by a boring killer, this is part of the reason why solo survivor is so miserable

But that means it is still the same. You can dodge a slinger shot and he has to reload. You can mindgame a spirit (if your not making much sound/she does not have dried cherry blossom) and she has to recharge. The survivor is still, a lot of the time, dependand ono the mistake of the killer. That includes Xeno as well.
Im suprised that the worst offender of that kind of design is not mentioned already. A survivor has no counterplay against a Nurse that is on point.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3783820#Comment_3783820
Slinger has a wind up animation, that got added because he literally didnt have one in the past. That made him a lot more managable to play against. He can also not spam it. He has too reload. Thats downtime for the survivor that should be used effectively for example: to make distance.
Slinger is 4.4, which means that he is dependent on his power to catch survivors. Therefore he is pretty oppressive in chase and awful outside of chase (no map mobility).
Furthermore, slinger has a very high skill ceiling. If you cant see it, i encourage you too play him a bit more or to watch some fancy compilation / guide on youtube.
Last but not least, spreading out and pushing gens is the best you can do against almost every killer except maybe twins?
Brother people make the excuse that nurse is hard to play, so its ok for her to be that broken, lets not pretend that spirit has proper counterplay that makes survivors have to use conscious decisions, its just educated guesses everytime, and if she has mother daughter ring then theres nothing u can do
-

There is actually a wind up animation. When he was released there wasn't an animation and he had a super small terror radius….back then i disliked deathslinger so much….nowadays he is fine though still not a lot of fun to verse.
If you can just pre run. Killers like DS or trickster will have a really rough time if everybody pre runs
Yeah but his ability and many others dont allow for skill expression through the survivor, and im saying this as a killer main, i played spirit, and it was astounding how the survivors could do nothing except guess where i was going, its part of the reason why ranked/pro play will never be taken seriously in this game.
Deathslinger's wind up animation isnt anything like pyramid heads, which is way better and allows you to prepare a counterplay
-
@HexHuntressThighs said:
You can not include Deathslinger with nurse lmao. In no way does he remove skill expression, in fact he offers more to the survivor by dodging his spear.
Theres no windup time to his ability, its just unreactable and instant, he can keep spamming his sight so he can zone u for free, he is not fun to play against at all, the best you can do is spread out and push gens
-
i think you guys are missing the point, if you win against a deathslinger or spirit, you didnt do anything, the deathslinger just misses, its just a game of guesses
-

Sorry but i always chuckle when i read these "Oh btw i am X main" or here the P.S. "I am a X main, so..." as if that would suddenly legitimize the claim somehow more in any way or give it more credibility/weight 🤣🤣🤣

Giant Spider won’t work unless they could figure out how to animate it to travel through narrow pathways.
SpringTrap won’t work because it’ll divide the community since the fans of the series were super annoying about it and have left a sour taste in many mouths. Also there’s some controversy with the creator supporting certain political groups. I hope it never comes because I’m a spiteful bit*h and haven’t forgotten the ruckus fans of the series caused when we were speculating on who the next killer before Cake Daddy Pyramid Head dropped.
I don’t see why we can’t have an alien. It would probably be as large as Demopuppy. They’d just have to come up with interesting ideas for its powers and abilities. Something like The Forgotten Twins powers would work, just less clunky and dependent on slugging.
We can’t have a killer that disguised as a Survivor. Everyone thought that would be Legions power but SWF is a thing and it wouldn’t work in this game.
They have lots of possibilities, it’s just not easy to make them all real. While I like original characters, Licensed ones are the money makers. I just hope for Chucky one day. Oh, and Oppai Vampire Lady from Resident Evil.
Springtrap would be cool, and im not a fan of the franchise,

No Way Out would have to be SUPER nerfed and so would Blood Warden.
EGC is fine, imo. Starting at the last generator would be extremely powerful for the killer.
no your wrong. killers need a buff, almost all killers are a joke to loop with the obvious exceptions being nurse, spirit ect

Are you laughing in agreement or are you laughing at me?
The OP suggests giving every survivor one of their teachables for free. Feng is one of DbD's most popular characters. I can already imagine all the little Feng screams echoing around the world when they all get saddled with Technician or Alert.

BHVR doesn't even bother monitoring post-game chat. If they did they would hand out chat bans rather than adding in the most obtuse censor ever seen. Hell, they have zero cheat detection. You think they could be arsed at all to monitor VC? It is far easier to just not add it to the game.

He can teleport to anywhere on the map 3 times without much delay, the ability recharges very quickly, he makes no audio while teleporting and you only know when you hear him bust out of the locker behind you, you can only lock each locker once and he can break the lock on any he sees with just a simple m1. He can start his teleport to leave his husk and cut off loops or teleport back to a hook instantly while still holding chase with someone else. AND the darkness is just salt on the deep wound. Top that with the fact he's a 115 movement killer and it seems unbeatable.
He's the only killer I can't find counterplay to. Other killers I can manage it about 50/50 depending on perks and my teammates (solo Queue sadly). I lose 100% of the time to him.
Am I the only one who thinks he needs some small changes?
Funny thing is alot of these killers are unfair one on one, Pyramid head, doctor, nurse ect but they get beaten by survivors splitting up and 5 gening

What are you talking about LMAO it would literally make survivor FOV strong against certain killers by default, you'd be able to see stealth killers much easier, you'd probably be able to just reveal Ghostface from behind a wall.
There's a reason that the FOV is the way it is on both sides.
cool, and this concerns me? we can talk about what aboutism all day.... but changes like Decisive strike nerf still happen despite community backalsh LOL, There is no rules

@TheGentlemen said:
Yeah let's zoom it out even further so we can make all the stealth killers even more useless!
of course you would say this, the focal point of the character is just too close, i want to see the things around me more, and people want this or otherwise they wouldnt be playing with FOV exploits or small characters

Before the core buffs and perk overhaul changes, killer queues was on average 3-5 minutes at day time, while at night it was always instant.
Now queues for killer can be almost 6+ minutes on day time and 3 mins night time in the EU region.
There has been a few times killers did have BP incentive but you only saw it for one match then it was instantly back on survivors.
And dont give me that "4:1 ratio" bs, in that case BP incentive would be around 25-50%
People are just playing SWF, cause soloq has been stated as "unplayable" when its really now, soloq is just a gamble if you get good team8s or not, if u dont trust a lobby, just dodge and look for another, its not like u as survivor have to wait more then 10 seconds to get a lobby.
Either revert the BBQ + WGLF changes, or buff soloq to the point they are on SWF level so I grind BP as killer again. IDC MAKE GENS 40 SECONDS, GIVE SURVIVORS 200% MOVEMENT SPEED I JUST WANNA PLAY KILLERS AND GET MORE THEN 2 bloodwebs worth of BP again.
I been playing so much survivor just trying to level up my Huntress, Billy, Nurse and Twins to prestige 20 while also mix-max spending BP on survivors for items and prestige 3+. I am losing my sanity
It is so easy to address tunneling and camping, just make it against Terms of service, get your OBS recording out and ban players, boom

As survivor, I barely ever used dead hard and (shockingly) nothing changed to me. Only thing I noticed is that many survivors give up on first hook after trying to use dead hard. They got carried by it for too long so they have no idea on how to calculate the right distance in loops. They're now learning how to play and they don't like it.
I actually like the way dead hard works now. But still I'm not gonna use it as often since there are way more interesting perk combos than the usual boring one.
I always thought deadhard was cheap, new deadhard u actually have to time it, and u dont gain such a long distance lmao

How is that proof of anything ?/How does that answer my question at all
nurse is a sign of a declining era, at her peak she is almost unbeatable, no clipping through the map, the strong range addons, i dont even blame survivors for dcing against me, but then again its fun to play but not fun for survivor, which tends to be a trend these days
-
Nurse is my main, and the game is too easy with her, alot of these killers who are boring to play against are actually really strong in loops e.g. clown, executioner which can avoid pallets but get beaten by survivors spreading out. this is why many people think high level dbd is boring, because you'll see nothing but spirit/nurses and usually u just need to get lucky at the 2

I love working on gens.
Gens are the key to victory, staying on it even when you hear the TR, even when a killer has gone stealth, no matter what is pressuring you to leave, staying on it is what makes gens interesting.
Those that dislike gens should find another game to play, they dont understand why the gens exist in the first place and odds are they dont work on them enough to be winning matches they absolutely shouldve.
By the way, almost every game in this genre has this 'hold position + skill checks' design, it just works.
how many hours do you have?
