That's my experience.
I reported A LOT of players using RACIST slurs against me (with screenshots too) and nothing ever happens to them. I don't know why BHVR chooses to just ignore this kind of thing.
I also told this to Mandy here but she just ignored my post.

I don't think slow downs are that great since they only ever do anything IF you apply pressure but do nothing on their own.

Whilst I appreciate RPD can be frustrating right now, it is something that has been brought up to the team.

Yes. But I would like to see BHVR really fighting racism, not just when it happens with a streamer.
After me and my friends reporting racists every week for a year (with tickets) and seeing nothing happening, I can't see this decision as nothing but fear of bad PR. If BHVR was banning these people AND removing the masks, I'd think different of it.

because they can’t in many cases where for example the harassment wasn’t actually done in-game - it was stated that a reason for the removal was that the masks were used as a tool for racism. If players are outright racist in in-game chat they do get banned
How about using all that effort to give a worthy reward to those who had the hard work of chasing the masks? (ex: 6k PER MASK)
what about people that don’t have the masks unlocked but actually got bubba because they intended to? Those that were only one sacrifice away from unlocking the mask? Too much edge cases.
How about using this effort to solve more important problems at the moment? Or even remove just Claudette's mask.
Just removing Claudettes mask would be perceived as downright racism. And they are not putting all resources into this one issue. Though it’s a good thing this got finally addressed as this controversial topic has been around for a long time already and needed to be managed together with the license holder. Now was the time for it.

This is not a rash decision this is something that's been under discussion for quite some time...we also do ban the people that racially harass others. Removing a tool that's used by people to racially harass others is something that's important to us. We do not want something in our game that we have control over, to be used to attack others in this manner.
You don't ban racist people. Every week I face someone that call me a monkey on chat or leave a comment on my profile saying that I'm a "FAVELA KILLER". I report them all, open a ticket, and save their profiles to check if they were banned. After 1 year of playing the game and doing this, only 1 guy was banned. And he was a cheater, not a racist.

And BHVR doesn't do nothing about it. But yeah, ok, remove Leatherface's mask. That'll do it, right?
