Awesome. I love it. I think one thing you could add to this idea is when victor is kicked, he gets some stars spinning around his head and his pupils turn into Xs.

The most meta survivor perks are DS, DH, UB, BT, IW, and adrenaline.
The current killer meta is a hex ruin + hex undying combo, which goes great with surveillance.
-
Honestly it would ruin the immersion if i was just hiding from a dude with a knife trying to kill me and then some british 5 year old comes on and says someting like "OYY WHAT U DOIN BEHIN THAT ROCK MATE"
-
My biggest complaint with it is that its way to slow. Sometimes i'll max out on BPs and spend them all on a new surv, but it takes forever becaue you have to click and hold, than wait for the next level to load. I just want the clicking animation to go by faster so that I can level up survivors fast.
-
- Balanced landing is the most fun exhaustion perk
- Stealth killers are the most annoying to verse
- The whole game is a loading bar simulator
- All indoor maps suck
- plunderer's should guarantee a flashlight

I want to start out by saying that this is not bait. This is an assessment. Both as Killer and Survivor, I've noticed an annoying tendency for people to kill themselves on their very first Hook. While I consider this a vast improvement over disconnecting, it is still the path of the coward. I wish there was a nicer way to say it. When I'm playing Killer it isn't too troubling. I know it will cut down on my Emblem potential but beyond that, some idiot has just taken the game from a 4v1 to a 3v1. What is worse, they don't even let their fellow Survivors milk that Hook for a Generator. These are the people you are hurting:
- Yourself. Every time you take yourself out early from a game that has angered you or seems too hard you have robbed yourself of a golden opportunity to learn and get better. If you think that game is lost, you can play it without stress. Try new things out, play it without anything hanging over your head. Why give up a free tutorial. Some lessons are hard, but those are generally the ones you get the most out of. And believe it or not, what you have already decided is a lost or "not fun" game might turn out to be a win and a blast. To put it simply, "you are leaving money on the table."
- You are screwing over the other Survivors in a horrible way. One less person, even someone who was on the hook, takes tremendous pressure off the Killer and puts it squarely on the backs of the others. When you do it early, you might as well be kicking them in the groin on our way out the door. Why would you do this? What kind of low life do you have to be to look at three other people on your team and say, "screw them" with a shrug? You aren't punishing the Killer in any meaningful way if that is your intent. You are hurting them.
- You are hurting the community. The more often this happens, the more it affects the Meta itself. How hard are your teammates going to work to try and get to someone they don't know is even going to wait for them. I just played a game where I watched an OUTRAGED David tea-bag at the Jake who literally sacrificed himself out just as the David fought through hell to get there. It wasn't that the David didn't get there in time. The Jake just shrugged and said, "see ya" and took himself out. There are going to be games where you want that rescue but people just aren't that into risking it all when they don't trust that you are going to do the right thing and wait. I expect, although I have not tested the theory yet, that the rise in people being left to hit the second stage on the Hook is probably in correlation to the people who sacrifice them on themselves on the Hook. Why is Self Care coming back like a Storm? Survivors, who are not in a SWF, have no trust in each other.
There are only three rules that I follow, and think all of you should too:
- Don't cheat either with hacks or lag spikes.
- Don't disconnect; if you start a game, finish it.
- Be humble in victory, and gracious in defeat.
I will defer the point that sacrificing yourself on the Hook "is" finishing the game to the letter of the law. It is a valid choice. However, it is a violation of rule #2 in spirit. You are taking the coward's way out. And if you walk the path of the coward, it can only mean one thing right?
If youre running a mori or some other toxic ######### and my team has no chance, you don't get the satisfaction.
-
Theyre noobs, not babys. They can stand getting their feelings hurt a little. I learned that way, now I'm decent. Everyone starts somewhere
-
Not equal. If I teabag, it doesn't change the outcome/fun of the game for you. If you tunnel and camp, it does for me. I only teabag when the killer is an #########.

If you intentionally eat DS, regardless of whether it's early or late, you're probably going to lose the match. You get no hook state, you gift the survivor a free health state, and you lose the pressure you would get by hooking or slugging a survivor. Even eating one DS can be enough to turn the tide of a match, let alone four.
That's just not true. I've had plenty of killers eat my DSs and absolutely destroy me later in the game. I think it needs to be changed, but until killers stop tunneling the ######### out of me I don't think it should be removed.

Are clown changes coming with the Twins update?

Only if survivors allow it to be activated. This perk has too many downsides to make it good. You're forced to play with 3 perks the entire game, and survivors have the ability to remove it from play at any point of the match.
When i use it, it gives me 1 down at best, and then all survivors will swarm to hook, use DS BT bodyblock combo to get out. So.. no, it really doesn't help you much as killer. I would rather use some other perks like whisper than use Noed
True. I think that when it is activated, it is powerful, but it can drag down your loadout.

Ive been considering buying cheryl to try soul guard? Do you find you get a lot of use out of it?

I personally hate Deliverance, but that's just me. Nothing wrong with it for solo survivor, I just tend to have bad luck and get very little use out of it.
Other perks to consider trying out are Kindred, Detective's Hunch, and any survivor-aura-reading perks (Bond, Empathy, Aftercare). Oh, and We're Gonna Live Forever is nice to run now too (bonus BP and good anti-slugging tool).
Though it's not like BT, DS, and SB aren't useful when solo too. You'll have to mix-n-match a little based on what you want from the build. Second Chances are strong, but bringing some altruistic and/or info perks can be fun too (more fun, IMO).
Just got bond from the shrine, definitely going to try it out. Would you say bond is better than empathy? Thanks!

I run sb, kindred, self care (in case killer packs franklin's demise), and urban evasion for speedy crawling against stealthy killers and the hag! I also think that kindred is one of the most important perks in the game for solo q, but deliverance is even better if you can stay hidden and get that first unhook before you're caught :)! I love your build btw!!
Thanks Meg's Wifey. Kindred is a great idea for solo, I often find nobody is going for me and I end up getting one or two hooked. Personally not a big UA fan, but i'm glad it works nicely for you!

Multiple game modes
Imagine some sort of new mode where the survivors had to find 5 things to reveal the killer and then kill him. Could be like a yeti hunt or something

So DCing is okay every time someone does something you don´t like? Come on.
Not what im saying at all actually.

Fun is subjective this is where the problem of your post persists.
I'm trying to say that if a killer is good, its not a problem. If the killer is not good but just using toxic and op stuff, thats the problem.

@HommeBizarre said:
So you are supposed to have fun by ruining the fun of the killer?
95% of the time killers aren't toxic for no reason
Not what I'm trying to say. If a killer does well without toxic perks or addons, ill try my best and accept the defeat. If a killer brings a mori and some ######### like the pink huntress addon, ill dc. The killer can still have fun without ruining the survivors.

@OmegaXII said:
It's completely fair, and has complete counterplay. If anything, it's underpower and requires a buff.. or rework.
A buff? NOED can change the course of the game from a survivor sided match to a killer sided match in the endgame. Definitely not necessary.
-
I'm a survivor. If someone brings a key I will try to point you in their direction. Unless you have a Mori.
-
Still a good addition to the blight imo. I think he needs a little more but theyre on the right track
-
Survivor main here. No.
-
We NEED more and better Nancy skins.

Or we can continue to complain about clearly over powered perks like No Mither and Iron Grasp!
/s
Totally agree. Personally, as a killer, I constantly go against survivors with No Mither, Self Care, Inner strength, sole survivor, and a medkit. Totally toxic.
-
Remove moris and nerf stalkers. That would help with DCers.
-
Pig, GF, Bubba. All are super annoying to play against.

Not in the minds of BHVR unfortunately.
BHVR Mindbreaker - Causes exhaustion for 3 seconds, when a survivors working on a gen under 50%.
Balanced Mindbreaker - All survivors are exhausted 100% of the time.
Thats balance folks, 1 killer perk to counter 4 survivor perks.
Sounds good if theres a survivor perk that blocks all hooks for the duration of the trial

I think that Spirit retains too much information. Especially when compared to what she loses.
Make it so she CANNOT hear survivors at all, watch all the bandwagoners lose their mind, have anyone with sense realise it is healthier for the game and see how the meta shifts before someone finds a new killer to break, or we all stop sweating so hard and play the killers we ENJOY.
This is entitled survivor mentality if i've ever heard it, and I play survivor. I think an indicator that shes phasing would be good, but spirit relies on sound to even get close to finding anyone, taking away the sound would make her possibly the worst killer in the game.
-
Your'e absolutely right about his story, looks, and music. His story is scary and intense, and it matches his looks and even the sounds he makes. His music is definitely the best in the game, except for maybe the classic dbd theme. His terror radius is just awesome and it is genuinely scary.
-
Many perks and addons for blight remove terror radius. Did he not have it the whole game?
-
@Jeffalations said:
So I feel like blight needed something more, and I have an idea. I don't know if it would work or not but here it is:
Wicked Experiment - a secondary ability for the blight. When activated, the blight creates a clone of himself that runs as fast as the blight when rushing. It can bounce off obstacles up to two times, or last for X seconds. The clone can not deal damage. Cooldown lasts for X seconds before it can be used again
I think it would be cool to confuse survivors by having two blights running at you. It would add another dimension to him that would more than just "run fast." Any other ideas?
This is in addition to what he currently has btw

Honestly, using whatever perks, addons or tactics you like is technically allowed, but I don't think i would have fun playing with you in a match. Then again given your build and the silly childish move of closing the hatch in a downed survivors face, i get the impression that this doesn't concern you much. You do you at the end of the day, no rules to say you have to play nice, but a game like this would be a disappointment to me since I'm the sort of survivor who tries very hard to avoid their own side's 'toxic' stereotypes.
damn yall i was just trying to be funny
-
When the exit gates are powered, see the auras of all survivors for 6/7/8 seconds. Gain a movement speed of +3%.
-
S/o to all the killers that down then let the survivors escape when that happens.
-
I really like killers that change the game greatly in some way, specifically freddy and Executioner. Freddy introduced the whole dream world thing and executioner added tourment and the cages. I think major changes like that are just awesome, and I wish we saw something like it instead of another killer that can run fast. Even demo had the whole upside down thing too. Something like that.
-
I don't understand. The goal of the game is to finish the generators and escape. If there's no reason to do bones, why would you? I think if survivors are sticking gens instead of unhooking, then its a problem, but it sounds like the survivors are just playing the game. You also got a 4k, so whats the problem? Gens are supposed to pop. Run ruin or something.
-
@TAG said:
We know this already. Both should be nerfed because both are overpowered.
Ive had many killers tell me that Im just an entitled survivor main and that moris aren't that good
-
Dire situations tend to give you strength. While sprinting while injured, passively gain health at 10/12/14% of normal rate. Can be used to heal the equivalent of one full health state.
-
I think it shouldn't be a perk, I just think that gates should regress in general, and a new survivor perk could be for any gate you work on to not regress.
-
the only part of this I agree with is the grabs. I've had times where I was in the grabbing animation, then they cancelled it and got away without a hit. That should not happen. Otherwise, I think survivors are pretty balanced. Your ideas would make it so that survivors can basically never get away if the killer starts a chase.
