  • You shouldnt be focused whether the killer is strong or not, but more if you enjoy playing them.

    ... Title.

The game is actually unplayable. Between toxicity, cheaters, broken stuff and bugs everywhere I don't know what's the worst... It's finally time to get a break from that game until the devs will start caring about the game's health and dealing with ALL the problems that i stated above...

I suggest you to do the same if you want finally see things changing

I didin't play the game for the past 8 months. Getting into the game yet again feels refreshing, excluding the sweats running all over.

It's really fine to take a brake, it will change your life. Believe me.

All right I always hear about people getting addicted to shadowborn. They say the better FOV is really good and makes the game so much nicer to play. So I am going to play a few games and see what it is like.

Killer: Blight - No perks or addons

Game one: Really weird playing with it. The survivors look smaller and moving around is different. It is a little weird since it looks like survivors up close move quicker, but at the same time I can see a bit more. It is just weird.

Game two: Still weird but getting used to it. But still weird.

Game three: Not really that weird up close. Getting used to it, but things that are further away still look wonky. However this should go away very soon.

Game four: Stale. Honestly forgot I was using it a few times. Still noticeable, but really messing with me anymore.

Game five: Pretty used to it

game six and so on: Completely used to it. It's nice. Allows for more screen making it even more pointless to be juked up close.

After taking it off again: It is weird. My spatial memory is messed up. Movement feels slightly off, things seem slower, and my judgement of how close a survivor is to me can mess up a lot of lunges. Survivors running into me are almost completely lost now. I got used to having a normal FOV and it kinda messed up the general feeling I have for my killers. I am now trying to get used to playing like normal again without it. However it was nice.

I still don't understand why we don't have an FOV filter. BHVR likes to argue that it would give killers an unfair advantage. And it would... only because they would be playing with a normal FOV that they should already have. Not only that but the difference would not be that dramatic and would make playing killer feel much better all around. it is like the color blind settings situation all over again. Just give us an FOV filter already. It is a very bad idea to restrict settings to perks.

For me it's just a comfortable way to play the game. The Perk does brings almost no advantages with it.

Everything looks smoother and more Dynamic. But as you already said, taking it off feels weird, just gotta get used to it.

I believe the specific issue here isn't the slugging but the slugging to death, which is seldom warranted.

I get the point. But we can't do anything about it. Devs will likely not change it.

I like to see this as an opportunity to just go and make myself a cup of coffee. What a nice way to economize our wasted time.

Literally just played a game where me and my SWF got slugged out by a tombstone myers. Was super weird, we just did gens and looped him. He then slugged us all out and proceeded to type ggez in chat. Seriously, why do this? Is your ego THAT FREAKING LARGE to the point where you do this crap? Not fun for either side, I wish BhVR handed out penalties for ppl who do this.

It's a legit Strategy with no penalties that come with it.

If you care that much, bring 4x Unbreakable

  • I would love to see 2 killers vs 8 survivors, it would be kinda survivor sided imo, but it would be fun as hell.

I'd like to see a game mode with a different objective than doing gens

For example: Survivors need to find items in chests, which will be used to open the gate. Both of the gates will have different locks.

Key card, a wire that needs to be cut etc.

Every item will be twice on the map, to avoid trolling.

In other words, how many of each type of DLC do you like getting per year? How many of the 4 do you prefer to be licensed and how many do you prefer to be original? Personally, I have always preferred original DLCs, but still like getting a licensed character on occasion, so I would normally prefer 3 original and 1 licensed. What about you?

It's fine like this, we get 2 licensed dlc's and 2 original ones, it's just perfect bro

Haven't been able to get on, so hows it looking? I dont care about if you're finding it fun I'm just more curious if its matching you against good players as a good killer or you are versing bad survivors as a killer

Thanks for any info btw, much appreciated!

Not good... I get matched up with red and purple ranks while being in a green one

I had downed a person and the other survivor was right there injured of course ima hit her and not just pick up the downed person but thats slugging, I see a person and hook them the one survivor takes them off the hook, then they run and run and I stop the chase as I wanna patrol gens, then I see the still injured person that was recently unhooked... am I meant to just let her go??? End game I hook a person see nea and the silent hill girl around the area I go to nea and the silent hill girl goes I go back and forth I get hit off on nea down her pick her up hit the silent hill girl put nea up and IM CAMPING??? do they want the win handed to them? I literally am not aloud to win under any circumstance or else I am being toxic/scummy when they are running meta perks and im running "fun" perks. then the post game is the red rank nea "slugging, tunneling and camping." wait so its ok for you to use ALL OP PERKS but I am not aloud to try to win the game.

Don't worry, just watch them cry, and laugh at those salty survivor mains

  • 81/167 Most of them are killer achievement's

Just realized they nerfed remember me to #########, even tho it's already a perk that was never very good. Can we get a version that's halfway decent for the perfect end game meme build?

Just imagine the old remember me and no way out together in a build.

If all players in the match are solo que, disable bloodlust.

If there is a two-man swf, current bloodlust is present.

If there is a three man, 50-75% faster activated time for bloodlust tiers.

If there is a 4 man swf, bloodlust activated 75-100% faster.

With better chase potential for the killer, the "5th perk" of comms is somewhat balanced.

Thoughts? Maybe this is different between specific killers?

Not every SWF is sweaty. This change would hurt casual players, that don't even know how to play the game properly. Some players just have fun playing with their friends.

If we want people to stick around (and to punish those who abuse broken killer), we should allow survivors to each pick (or maybe even just vote on) one killer that can’t be played that trial.

I can’t play against ghost face and would love to never see that busted overpowered thing again.

This will make the game very unbalanced. For example: You are a Legion main, and you don't know really how to play as other killers. And Legion is being banned, that's basically lost game there.

EVERY PALLET ON THAT MAP IS SAFE. YOU CANNOT CHASE anyone. its a HUGE waste of time. That map was already survivor sided and now you leave ALL THOSE PALLETS and ADD MORE. Its impossible for an m1 killer to win that map./

It wasn't survivor sided before re-work. But yes, now it's survivor sided.

Anyways, this map is just filled with god pallets everywhere. I don't think there is an unsafe pallet on this map now.

They need to change the pallet placement asap.

After playing 10 matches of killer today. I got 6 Gideon Plant offerings.

It was frustrating as hell. I played as Clown and i could not catch up to anyone. I was trying to mind-game those pallets but it did not work.

Next time I played as Bubba, also hell. Downing anyone with M2 was almost impossible.

This map is just Hawkins National Laboratory 2.0 but with safe pallets.

Probably Devs does not give a shet. They will probably not fix it. But even if they do, they are going to mess up this map even more.

All they want is money, nothing else. They does not care about people feedback.

  • It's a glitch or they just want your money.

  • I like the new Survivor animation's, they look really nice.

I don't like the new UI, I mean, it's beautiful. But the placement is really bad. I think that if they would add UI customization. It would solve the issue.

  • I like playing on PC, Keyboard and Mouse is very comfortable for me.

  • My last experience i had was that 2 Nea's killed themselves on the hook and Dwight was afk. That's why I never play solo queue.

  • I like Clown's animation, I like the way he spins his knife. It looks smooth and nice.

Also Ghost face's animation is cool, he grabs the knife and "cleans" it up with his own Hand.

i don't think gen speeds are the problem when it comes to gens being done quickly. i believe the main problem is the base gen regression. without perks like ruin it takes like 5 minutes for a generator to completely regress.

    what do you think?

I agree, the gen regression time is too slow. It should be 0.50% loss in a second.

  • This is one of the best changes I've ever seen. I think that Devs finally understood that this two perks were abused by survivors.

  • @KateMain86 said:

The Oni is way too powerful. I can't tell you how many times I have seen a powered up Oni take down an entire team after downing the first survivor. Pair this with survivor finding perks or gen pressure perks and its good luck you'll need it to have any chance of escaping the trial against that. My suggestion and feedback on this killer is that his power should reset if he downs a survivor with it activated. It is not fair to play against a killer that retains power after significantly hurting the survivor team with an instant down ability.

Oni is a balanced killer. If his power would reset after one down, it would be a HUGE nerf to Oni. This change you suggested is bullsh1t, you should stop complaining.

  • Simple questions deserve simple answers - less blood points.

  • @sonia_delos said:

I don’t really care what people think but when you play Bubba, use the chainsaw as a crutch, face camp, NEED NOED and still can’t get the job done, you’re just about the worst killer there is.

    Change my mind.

Okay, so i should not use my m2 power bc it's a crutch or what?

  • As a Survivor I use Iron wil, Ds, We'll Make It and Head on.

As a Killer I use Nurse's calling, Discordance, Pop and Bbq.

  • TL;DR No mither Is a bad perk and you should not use it.

  • I don't really like the idea with Infectious Fright. The cooldown of 100/80/60 sec would make this perk terrible. The cooldown of it would be to long.

Corrupt Intervention change is not needed. This perk is fine. If it would block one closest Generator and two furthest Generators, the Gen patrolling would be slow. If you go to patrol the closest generator from your spawn, the survivors can just go on a gen and complete it before you go back. But if you decide to patrol only the two furthest Generators, the closest Generator would be completed by survivors.

  • do you are have stupid?

  • I really like facing the Twins. Probably my favourite killer to face right now.

I really like chasing with Victor, he's small and very fast. You can kick him and it's kinda funny.

I like the whole design of the Twins, in my opinion it's perfect.

Playing as the Twins is also funny, jumping on someone with victor is fun.

  • Perk name: Beep-Beep or Sticky-stick-circles

You have 1/2/3 sticky circles, that u can put on a pallet. It takes 5s.

After u put them, if u activate them with m2, they will force the pallet to drop down.

    Beep-Beep has a 180s cooldown.

It can be used only when u are within 8m of sticky circle.

But if the sticky circle is going to activate, and the pallet is going to drop down, The Time to Break the pallet is reduced from 2.6s to 1.6s. (1s shorter)

  • For survivor iron will and decesive strike

For killer Discordance and Sloppy Butcher

    (asking for a friend)

They logged into dbd and everything the owe was gone, their p3 spirits and such were completely reset. They now have every character that the previously owned lvl 1. I remembered that this isn't the first time that this has happened, but when I searched for it, I couldn't find anything. So can anyone help?

The best thing he can do now is contact support.

  • You can't catch me

After receiving 5/4/3 attacks You can't catch me activates.

When You can't catch me activates, The next 1/2/3 pallet you are going to drop are going to stun the killer for 0.4/0.8/1.2 more seconds.

The next 0/1/2 pallets u are going to drop are going to respawn after 90/60 seconds after the killer breaks them.

Not very creative, but i tried my best lol

  • Yeah, leatherface is annoying, the only reason how to somehow counter his face camping and tunneling is bringing decesive strike and borrowed time.

  • I think that Spine chill is a very good perk to counter Spirit. You can tell if Spirit is looking in your direction when phase walking, you can easily juke her with scratch marks. The perk is also good to counter stealth killers e.g Ghost face or Pig. Overall i think this is a very good perk.
