Off the Record is Borrowed Time if it worked on you instead of the person you unhook.

I'll check that perk out, I forgot about that perk

Ok. And I want a filter that blocks off any swf from my games. Give it a week. Let's see how that works.

I wouldn't mind what you said for killers from I hate going against swfs as killer

Being limited to one pick isn't nearly as bad as some other similar suggestions I've seen made, but seriously, the matchmaking system we have can't give us a decent match with equally skilled teammates and opponents before you factor in everybody's block list (a solid half of which would be Nurse) and what killers any given lobby is allowed to accept.

Like, okay, you can only block one killer. But a SWF can effectively coordinate a list of who they don't want to see, so for a 4-man, it's not just a no-Nurse lobby, it's a No Nurse, No Blight, No Huntress, and No Artist Allowed room. For example.

Nurse, Blight, and Bubba would all take ages to get matches. Then you have other killers that people hate versing but who are less common sights in the wild - Legion, Hag, Twins, Plague, Pinhead, Trickster, etc. They wouldn't normally be many people's blocked killer, but when they get featured in a tome and everyone starts picking them? Suddenly, people trying to do challenges are practically in their own bloated queue.

Better not to give people that power. If there are issues that people have going against specific killers, they should be addressed with balance updates, accessibility options, or sometimes just a healthy dose of copium.

True enough, or they could do this

Let's say everyone picks a different killer, they block them but they can only block the specific killer 1 time a day, and have a 24 hour cooldown before they can block them again

Nope. Too open to abuse. Nurses and Blights would never get a match.

Yeah they would, I don't mind playing against them all except dredge mainly, and I play in a swift with other players. You have no right to say that until they give it a week and see the results on who does and doesn't get played with in the filter

When healing just go for savety hood skill checks, don't risk great ones for this meager extra 1%. If you do, though that's a fair punishment fot missing your checks.

    You are all misunderstanding me.....

I'm meaning the part where you have to stop healing halfway and a loud noise notification happens when you have hemorrhage status. The loud noise notification should be removed

  • @CosmicParagon said:

What? Hemorrhage has literally zero effect on Skill Checks

What I'm meaning I'd the old one didn't affect skill checks, but now it does and it should be removed from perk, like let's say I'm healing and you know they have nurses, you can't change location to reveal. I understand losing progress, but not revealing your location every time when you have to stop healing for a second or two when it automatically makes loud noise like a failed skill check when you have no choice but to stop

Maybe go the opposite direction. Make it so that a person using Bond reveals their aura to other survivors when in a chase and in range. That way you can see if they're running in your direction to try to sandbag you, and you can get out of harm's way earlier.

That has other conceptual & balancing implications besides just that scenario, though.

Yeah your idea ain't bad, I wouldn't mind that either

Lots of Bond-enjoyers use Bond to see if survivors are working on a gen to avoid them. This would gut Bond's usefulness.

That would be good if the used it the correct way... But I only found about 60% to 80% survivors that has it with me, brings killer with them and gets me caught, and they Abused the perk in a bad way

The survivors I catch most doing so are Dwight's, and Megs

  • Well yall CANNOT DENY THIS from also anytime in game with last 2 survivors, I'm doing a gen and the other survivor works with killer to live, and they happen to have bond when i die and magically kmew where i was and points at me with killer, then killer kills me and lets the other go, but if yall can't nerf it...

At least BANN the perk from anyone who abuses it on purpose, and game would be able to tell, if they do it more than 5 times to any survivors, when they (The survivor whose using BOND) are NOT DEAD ON HOOK

  • @Dsnooz said:

What? I never see survivors rat out another with Bond.

Why ruin Bond? You can use Bond to take a protection hit for a survivor that is on death hook. Bond helps tremendously with positioning for flashlight saves. If the survivors can't see the survivor being chased it makes it harder to do both of these things.

Bond is the strongest aura perk for survivors.

You can see there auras if your not being chased, but can't see anyone else's aura if you are the one being chased

  • Personally I think it should get nerfed to 75% blind proof, and it now let's you know of any survivors near you with a flashlight/flashbang/firecracker in hand within 5 meters when near a downed survivor

  • @APoipleTurtle said:

Okay, so we're going to nerf a perk that exists to counter a single type of item, isn't particularly popular, and is generally regarded as weak by many killers?

I'm listening, but how would you propose reworking the perk into what you would deem a more balanced state? If you want it changed, please share some suggestions on how you would like to see it adjusted.

Personally I think it should get nerfed to 75% blind proof, and it now let's you know of any survivors near you with a flashlight in hand when near a downed survivor

The only thing I'd hope for is there being more interaction with the survivors so they know the killer has it. It feels bad slapping someone who keeps aiming light in my face expecting something to happen.

You could compensate it elsewhere and maybe give some other general effect that works regardless of flash lights. Honestly though I feel flashlights and lightborn are very iffy designs in general. The idea of messing with/fighting the killer is alright but it's just done so poorly.

I agree, from it should tell the survivors that they have lightborn at least, like thanaphobia dying light and lots other perks, but why not lightborn at least

  • @dugman said:

Hard to believe someone is asking to nerf Lightborn of all things. 🙄

Lightborn getting nerfed is the same thing as calm spirit.. Killer Mains had to cry like a sissy that calm spirit is too powerful towards doctors and infectious fright. Look now it's getting nerfed so why can't lightborn get same treatment

  • @Milo said:

It can go both ways. And I'll believe in the version that people using bond prefer to not go into areas where people are. So I think it should stay.

Well that might be, because your a killer main or you use it right way, but I see most survivors abuse the perk

So right now Wraith is not very strong he’s very weak. Here’s my rework Wraith will get.

increase cloaked speed to 195.5% speed(7.82 M/S). Make it so wraith can go through walls and pallets since he’s cloaked and he can’t attack he should be able to go through walls since he’s technically in another world when cloaked. This wouldn’t be OP cause Spirit can do what wraith does but better but spirit can’t go through walls but can turn invisible and attack. Wraith can’t attack while cloaked but to compensate he can go through walls and pallets and moves fast at the cost of not attacking.

next I’ll silence his footstep sounds and growling while cloaked because once again since he can’t attack he should be completely quiet so he can sneak up and hit people. His true invisibility will stay the same like it is now.

when Wraith uncloaks the bing bing sound will only play when within 16m of the wraith and his speed boost when coming out of cloak will still be 1.25 seconds.

When Wraith recloaks the woosh sound will not play so people don’t know when he turns invisible again. When he uncloaks the woosh sound will play to let people know he’s able to attack but to compensate when he turns invisible the woosh sound doesn’t play.

That’s my proposed rework to The Wraith he was very simple to rework if he had all of this he could be very very strong. What are your thoughts on my rework?

That's too fast, and currently his cloak speed 6.00 m/s is so fast he can go past me to get to a pallet faster than any exhausted perks. He shouldn't be able to, or just buff the perks. But only cloak speed is too fast. Personally should nerf it down to 5.5 and test out and PTB before releasing and check people reviews over it

As a survivor the last three matches I have played have had someone disconnect when the killer either picked them up or hooked them. The last match I was in had two do it. The penalty should start at 15 or 30 minutes and go up from there.

Not always, I believe killers should get the DC penalties for every survivor that dcs, from its bullshit thay I get a penalty for the killers cheating playstyle. Basically what happens is I get hooked and a killer teleports right next to me less than a second I get unhooked and downs me. Tunnel me and camps me insidiously.

So yeah I believe that need done with, it's 1 thing near end game or the survivor is toxic by T-bagging or flash light clicking, but not right off the bat. I think what killer should get is a bigger Bloodpoint penalties for downing a survivor less than a 2 minutes from off hook, or camping inside the radius, from currently it only affects emblems when it should affect Bloodpoints

  • @FeryGEN said:

Everything looks too much like the ideas of two main survivors who do not play as killers. Next

I also play killer, but I don't camp and tunnel right off the get go

I'm a Pig main and I win about 50-60% of the games, and you know what gets me, when a survivor instant save right when I hook them, but the other gets grabbed off, I don't think I should be allowed to do that, I understand lockers, gens, vault windows/pallet and exit gate. But not hook saves. From 1 game I grabbed 2 survivors off same person from they wouldn't quit saving in front of me with someone not dead on hook.

All I do gotta say, is that camping and tunneling makes survivors quit playing for long time, or forever from I played around 2017-2018 and I joined back around middle of 2020.

You know what made me quit, it's getting camped right when 0 gens popped and get tunneled as soon as I get unhooked by someone from he looked the other way, and they took a hit and body blocked the killer, and still left him and downed me.

As killer what made me quit, was I was going against top notch survivors that kept t-bagging me and taking hits then healing and coming back to take another hit while 1 survivor is doing gen, but now that sloppy butcher with nurses calling is this way I don't have that problem anymore.

All I'm saying is that it can be camping or tunneling, BUT NOT BOTH. It just ruins the game and makes people just wasted there money on a game that's going downhill where people don't want to play it at all

  • @FeryGEN said:

I play killer also, but I don't camp and tunnel right off the get go.

I'm a pig main, and it sucks when they use dead hard right at the exit gate.

The only way I would is if they kept me busy for 3 or more gens with 0 hooks, but what I say is GET GOOD at predictions on there looping, I win about 50-60% of matches

As a killer, I can't stand it, from it'll make survivors quit playing forever, and it made me quit for a year. It didn't change much since 2018

  • @BastardKing said:

I always hear about these hard core face camping/tunneling killers, but in the last two weeks, I have seen it ONCE out of probably 30+ survivor games, and that was today. And we just gen slammed them. The only reason they won was because I lagged a bit while going for a save, and so the bar didn't start charging until about .5 seconds after I clicked, and I got grabbed. If not for that, they would have gotten wrecked.

Most of the time people complain about getting face camped, they are at like, 2 gens and the killer needs an artificial way to increase pressure. And unfortunately, that is not the killers' faults. Survivor objectives are objectively quicker because they are concurrent and because their progress regresses slower. (A single health state takes two survivors 16 seconds to solve without perks or items, for a total of 32 seconds of survivor time. Those 32 seconds, if on a gen, give it about 30 seconds of progress. A killer without perks or add ons needs 120 seconds of that gen not being worked on to undo the progress of two survivors working for the same time it takes them to undo one single hit. So the survivors already have 4* the number of people, and their progress takes slightly less than 4* the time to undo, without perks. That is why slow down perks are so META.) Most of the people I have seen tunneled were either really bad, throwing down every single pallet immediately then running back into dead zones, or BMing the killer.

What is way more common is people complaining about getting tunneled or camped when the killer has hooked everyone at least once. THAT I have seen 2/7 times today alone.

We won't have this problem if they played the game right, and I understand if only 2 gens are left to camp/tunneling but not when 1-0 gens done and have 4-5 gens to do to escape

  • Not bad, from I'm sick of getting tunneled and camped before a single gen gets done.

I'm also tired of being face camped (aka less then a foot from my hook till I die on hook) by a leather face right when the game starts, and that killer should be banned on camping, from he get to down 2 survivors at once, which isn't fair.

You should only be allowed to camp and tunnel if you have 4 or less hooks when 3 gets are done

  • I wish on events they would bring back the old offerings like brown and yellow to places from they look cooler than the green ones and on prestige 3 I hardly get a place offering and get more brown and yellow on bloodweb and why not it would be better than the rigged Dead by daylight matchmaking on maps from and day i play it gives me a specific place over and over when no one used a place offering which is messed up.

SO PLZ ADD THE OFFERINGS DURING CHRISTMAS OR SOMETHING FROM IT WOULDNT HURT

  • I think they should add ad ons for pig like wraith where she don’t make noise when doing an ambush, and another add onfor more faster crouching speed

  • Theres a new code that gives bloodpoints is

    nice

  • Tapper

It's a misspelling that make you think its trapper when they are talking about tapp from its about Survivor not killers

  • There's a new code giving 100,100 bloodpoints and the code is

    HAPPY1001

I got it from a youtuber and it worked
