Yeah and us killers are tired of getting into our first chase and hearing 2 gens pop before you even get a hit.

By 'healthy' you mean generic m1 killers that play the same as any other? What would be the point of 22 killers the require the same tactics to beat?
He's just saying it because survivors feel entitled to make rules for killers.
-
As a killer main let me just say these perks really aren't as bad/good as everyone thinks (depending on if you player killer/survivor). An easy way to counter DS is to down them and just leave them and chase someone else. Or just pick them up take the couple second stun and keep chasing then they can't use it the rest of the game. It's really not hard to counter. What I do is if someone is unhooked I always go for the person that did the unhooking action, if not then I just down the unhooked person and leave them. It adds pressure because if they don't have unbreakable that means one other teammate has to heal them and if you are chasing another person that means only one person is possibly doing gens.

You killer mains trip me out by calling survivor mains crybabies. Let someone mention Survive with Friends and the majority of you meltdown.
Yeah there are definitely arguments on both sides but survivors have it way better. SWF really isn't a problem to me though.
-
Don't you know? They have to make survivor mains happy because they don't want to be flooded with crybabies on the forums and their social media.

random idea that came to me as I read this was that maybe when theres 1 survivor left, crows spawn on them as if they were standing still when they arent interacting with anything. This way, they cant just hide in a corner or anything, they need to be actively doing a gen or find hatch quickly in order to avoid the game lasting ages.
Yeah that's why I said make the gen go faster then they have a reason to do gens and once they pop it you will know their general direction

I dont think it should be as fast as having 4 people on it but maybe a little faster would be fair. If the killer kills 3 survivors then they are winning, why are they punished so heavily for it? And what about SWF? They chose their team, so if they die why are they getting rewarded? I get that solo queue can be rough when your whole team dies but that shouldnt give another thing for the killer to think about for the last person. Hatch is already stress enough.
Like i said I'm a killer main, at the end of the game with one person left I prefer the match to just be over faster instead of trying to find the person that hides as soon as they hear my terror radius
-
I don't know why no one's talking about how gen speed should correlate to how many survivors are alive. If all 4 are alive gens should go fairly slow but when only one is alive the gen speed should go just as fast as if 4 people were on it to compensate for the dead teammates. It would definitely help with solo queue. This is also coming from a killer main who thinks solo queue is extremely easy and people overexagerate how hard it is.
This would make start game gen rushing not happen so fast and end game go a little faster as they will have a chance to repair gens and open exit gates instead of playing hide and seek until the killer or survivor finds the hatch.
-
I'll never forget this one match I played as Leatherface on mobile where all 4 survivors at the very start of the match we're on one gen and I downed every single one and hooked all of them within a minute of the match starting. Mobile players are on some other worldly ######### lol

You said most which is generalizing the killer player base negatively.
I'll take a very easy bet that it's the exact opposite in reality and your only remembering the bad times due to negativity bias in your memories.
This Thread is just an Us VS Them thread meant to insult killer players.
Yeah no doubt. Survivor mains act like they are super entitled while killer mains are over here struggling to have fun with the game due to survivors being loved more by the devs. I've said it before, the devs would rather lose 1 player (a killer) than 4 players (survivors) so obviously they are going to listen to survivors first.
-
Killer main here, I really don't see a problem with DS. My best counter for it is to hook someone then mini tunnel them enough to pick them up if they have DS I let them go, if they don't I drop them and keep giving gen pressure across the maps. DS isn't even that big of a deal tbh. It's one of those things that piss you off for about 5 seconds and then boom, they can't use it the rest of the match.
-
Because toxic survivors will just sit there and t bag when they could just escape and have the game be over.
-
Playing killer is far more difficult than killer so obviously strong add-ons are going to be a thing. Only bs addon is Iri Head. You can't just make na add-on where the entire power of a killer one shots someone unless you have to work for the one shot like Myers, Ghostface, Oni.

You probably have a good Ping to the Server. You have to keep in mind that the Ping from the Survivor to the Server and from the Killer to the Server is important.
So if you have a decent Ping, Survivors will notice that by not getting hit from far away on their screen. However, if you are Survivor with a decent Ping and the Killer has a high Ping, you will get those strange looking Hits on your end.
So to understand this I'm getting punished for having a better connection than the killer? Damn might as well use my hotspot. Bad connection is the new connection.

I think that day I ran over a Debbie oops, but I mean I was playing Chad and had to get into character. The game does have that magic that also makes it funny, it's a game I can chill on instead of feeling like I'm against sweaty players. The only thing I do on F13 to avoid being annoyed is muting people that scream or blast music through their headsets.
Yes exactly, playing killer on DbD is like playing as a cod pro in a tournament. You have to sweat your ass off just to slightly do good.
-
Someone please explain how when I'm playing survivor this always happens to me, they get bs hits on me. Yet when I play killer I just end up smacking the wall.
-
Y'all saying how Chucky wouldn't work, they could literally have it be Tiffany holding Chucky and she could be holding him or he could be on her shoulders. Or possibly Chucky stands on top of doll Tiffany and their speed is reduced to 110% and the lunge speed could be higher and Tiffany could throw Chucky off of her shoulders. Really not sure how no one though of this...
-
All of you saying no one cares just further proves his point. Why be toxic about it? It's people like you that make people not want to enjoy this game.
-
They should make it so you can lunge attack the wall so it definitely wastes a little time but not the whole long ass animation. Can't tell you how many survivors I lost due to the walls on MacMillan. And if they are going to add walls they need to add walls to every killer shack just like Dead Dawg Saloon. Killer shacks waste so much time when a godly survivor main is looping you there.
-
They should really start making all cosmetics on 2 killers and 2 survivors 75% off every month. Meaning this month they could do idk like Pig and Trapper, Meg and David, then next month pick 2 new killers and 2 new survivors to make cosmetics 75% off. At this point it to buy all cosmetics for just one characters is ######### ridiculous given that we bought the game then spent over $100 just to have all the DLC.
-
Thing about it is though is survivors mains will be crybabies about it like always. I really feel like BHVR is scared to do most stuff to killers because of it being a 1v4 game. Would you rather lose 1 player or 4 players due to a change? And also the 4 players are crybabies the whole time can't forget about that.
-
100%, playing killer is stressful and bots would make this ######### game actually fun so long as the boys don't have small brain no skill perks like BT and DS.

balanced? really?
Oh yes far more balanced. If you aren't able to escape it's because you don't know how to loop Jason and fight back and if you take too long to escape Jason gets his rage and you get punished for it. Perks don't really make a difference which is good so that there isn't too much bullshit, there's stamina so you can't just loop Jason forever and ever, and Jason is random so you don't know what's going to happen when you load in. Killer on DbD can be extremely stressful while dealing with powerhouse survivors yet the survivors always complain on here for no reason. It's a 4v1 game not a 1v1 game obviously killers are amazing in 1v1's.

i think death slinger is fine personally
he is a strong 1v1 killer and its hard to tell if he is close because of his small TR but thats it, he can't snowball, he can't stall, he can't apply map pressure, and is slower than a standard 110% killer because he has to reload so missing is punishing.
people don't like the mindset of this being a team game you are not supposed to do good against a heavy 1v1 killer in a chase so you need to count on your team to be doing gens and spacing them apart so he loses due to his horrible map pressure.
Exactly, seems like all survivor mains say that killers are "too op" well in it's a 1v4 game if they don't have even the slightest upper hand they will just get destroyed every match. Not like they already do or anything.

I've made all of them playing solo. This one took me a little longer but it wasn't difficult. I usually save the ones that look "harder" for last and then play normally with it activated and end up completing it without even noticing...
Yes, I just 99 the gens then wait for the killer. Sometimes you get lucky and no other survivors are around you to finish it. Also if you 99 the gen and slap on OoO and Spine Chill, wait till the killer is facing you then activate OoO so they know you are there.

Same, I've started to play survivor more too. Not very good at it though. Me playing survivor is like a baby taking their first steps lol.
Gg, however long it took you to be good with killer it will take you much less time to get good as survivor.
-
Literally only happened to me at low ranks. After about rank 13 it doesn't even happen anymore.
-
I slowly crept to playing survivor and it really sucks I enjoy killer but it's stressful. Survivor is extremely easy and favored by the devs. I play solo queue and yet everyone complains about how it's bad. I escape probably 3/4 games I play.

Shout-out to the mods that ban you for littlest things!

Ironically, the only Deathslinger I went against last night was the most fair killer, and he COMPLETELY caught me off guard with his Iridescent Coin addon. First time I had been a victim of it. lol. But no, I don't play on Xbox, I play on PS4, so it definitely was not you because it would be impossible for me to message you.
Ahh gotchu
-
Same here. I'm rank 10 consistently playing against red ranks and when I don't ay against red ranks I play against rank 15's that I kill in like 5 mins because of how inexperienced they are. The skill gap in this game is non existent either people are extremely good or extremely bad. It's infuriating.

I'm only complaining a little bit. Just wish I could have normal gameplay tonight instead of running a killer for 4 gens, getting farmed and downed again right before the 5th gen, and then the killer getting 2 kills on 3 downs because of NOED.
feelsbadman
Carry on
To wait a sec was you playing against me? I was running Deathslinger, you and one other person I kept hooking because the fourth person was hiding and my obsession kept saving you but I was saving up my STBFL tokens, you kept messaging me on Xbox and being salty? If not then sorry but there were these people last night being salty as all hell I tunneled when it was their teammates fault for never coming by me. Whoever I was "tunneling" kept on running towards me literally just asking for it.

Truely looks like it's just a Stranger Things themed stream with the actor that played Dustin in the show. Which is cool but would have been a good opportunity to see some add on reworks and basekit rat liver
Dustin would be a cool survivor but because of people being too sensitive and getting mad over nothing video games can't show minors being killed even though movies and tv shows can. Absolute bull #########.

I main both and I can say that as a solo queue survivor, killers are WAY too underpowered.

I agree we have basic killers with 115 that M1, 110 killers with special powers that are very strong but no killers that are over 120 they should make a killer that speed
Fr we need a new killer that doesn't take much skill at the cost of having ######### perks

Survivors are not allowed to use DS, unbreakable, OoO etc
but I AM allowed to use insta downs, moris, every single strong perk possible and the reasoning is "im the power role"
so you tell me.. ME who has to deal with
-potatoe teammates
-Dedicated servers, hitboxes, bloodlust
-unsafe pallets in every corner, dead ends
-insta downs, moris, strong killer perks
even tho i need to deal with more things then you can imagine its a ######### move when i bring strong perks?
BUT "survivor playing is so easy LMAO TROLOLOL"
yeah its very easy especially when you get dedi hits in every corner. go play soloQ with potatoes and lets meet again.
you dont want people to complain about your noed and mori then you also shouldnt complain about some solo survivors bring some perks to survive longer because they dont wanna get tunneled at the beginning of the match.
This is false. I play both and when I play Surv I play solo and I can win easily. Killer is much more difficult and stressful.
-
We need a new killer where their base speed is 120%.

🐒did you saw the op killer in the game needs a buff. Entitled killer main🐵🐵🐵
No killer mains are not entitled. Playing survivor is easy af while playing killer is stressful, competitive, and not fun at all even though I keep playing. Not as much as I used to though. I used to play all day everyday and now I quit because of how ######### playing killer is with all the survivor metas.

video evidence or it didn't happen
What do you mean video evidence I don't record? It's really not hard to believe given that survivors are favored over killers.
-
This is on you for having bad connection. I main killer but also play a decent amount of survivor. Killers have it way more rough than survivors. Playing killer is like playing highly competitive CoD and can be extremely stressful and difficult. How bout you stop complaining and just deal with your bad connection.
BTW: I play solo queue survivor so that even adds to how easy survivor is.
-
You all need to quit complaining. I come from Call of Duty with a CoD mindset: YOU DON'T WIN EVERY GAME SO JUST BECAUSE YOU LOSE A GAME HERE AND THERE DOESN'T MEAN YOU NEED TO COMPLAIN.

Friday the 13th has a timer. If you are still on the map when time is up it counts as an escape. I wonder if they could do something like this for DbD?
On DbD it should not count as an escape though. The thing that makes Friday different is that Jason has rage and once he has it there is not much you can do to fight back especially since you have stamina on it. Looping is definitely a thing on Friday but extremely difficult to pull off.

@Shymare_11 said:
I agree that a half an hour match should not occur, punishing everyone shouldn’t be the case. I think instead, at the start of a match, a timer is set for 31 minutes (additional minute is to compensate for the 10-20 second period of looking around for each player). After the timer has ran out, the end game collapses occurs and the exit gates are powered. One, both parties get to keep their blood points, and two the survivors get a chance to escape while the killer has a chance to kill them all since all they need to do is patrol gates instead of seven generators that were left untouched. Neither side is penalized and can move on to a hopeful better game but also have the number of blood points possible drastically decreased.
The downside to that though is they could all just hide in lockers for 30 mins and sneak around with the faster crouch speed and spine chill.
