@Aviema It's not that you're saying it, it's that you're implying it by how you worded your post and if you go back and reread it dispassionately you'll see that's what it looks like. Also the gen rushing comment is overall and if you look at killer complaints that ties into it.As someone else mentioned you can run whispers and your response was to call them basically childish and running a perk ######### because you don't want to run anything but what you want.
You really need to stop trying to read into what people are saying because I promise you, you aren't smart enough for that. Everything you magically made up inside that neurotic mind of yours about "what I'm implying" isn't true. Just flat out, and you know why it isn't true? Because you don't know what's inside of my mind, I do. Pretty simple, surprised you haven't learned that lesson yet mate. Your reply to me, and these points that you keep bringing up are irrelevant and derailing the thread. This discussion between me and you is done.

Whispersyou're that kid who always did that, "I'm not touching you!" annoying ######### aren't you? Using a perk slot to counter ######### behavior is not even close to an adequate solution.
So the last survivor should just run up to the killer and say take me I'm yours right? No survivor in their right mind is just going to give you an easy kill. You're not entitled to that free kill anymore than the survivor is entitled to making it out.
If you were playing a high mobility killer then of course that survivor is going to try and move around. It's funny you killers complain about being gen rushed but when it's the other way around it's I can't have my 4th victim for free.
Yes it's annoying to have to go find someone but that's why you run Whispers if you see stealthy players, Doctor, etc. You have to go earn that 4th kill even if it takes time.
Hmmm, didn't say the survivor running up to the killer was an adequate solution? Pretty sure that's also ######### behavior. Never asked for an easy kill or said it should be an easy kill, if I did please quote the selection of text where I said that. Never said I was entitled to the last kill, nor do I think the killer getting a "free kill", in your words, on the immersed survivor is an adequate solution.
Never complained about gen rushing in the post you replied to so, not sure why you brought it up? Never said anything about having my fourth victim for free?
"Yes its annoying to have to go find someone," no its not annoying, it its a waste of my ######### time for a survivor to play immersed for twenty ######### minutes buddy. That's one third of an hour, do understand how much time that is wasted?
I have to go earn that fourth kill even if it takes time? How many hours a week do you work at your jobs? Go ######### yourself if you think survivors wasting my time, as much as twenty minutes, is just something I have to deal with unless I want to waste a perk slot on whispers. I don't have twenty minutes to waste on an immersed survivor and I'm not ######### running whispers as the "fix" to that kind of play.
You're response was stock, jumped to many conclusions about what I said without addressing what I said, and in the end you just look like a fool. Are you actually this #########, or are you just pretending to be?

The Spirit:
Core- Nurses Sloppy Butcher ThanatophobiaCandidate for Fourth Slot: (These are in no particular order within the respective tiers)
A Tier.)
1.)Monitor & Abuse (Mind Games)
2.)Make your Choice (Tempo/Momentum)B Tier.)
1.)Stridor (Chase Potential)
2.)Bitter Murmor (Catch Up)
3.)BBQ Chili (Tempo/Momentum)"Just A Little Bit" Tier.)
1.) Hex: RuinI like Running Prayer Beads + Decreased Activation Time, making it very difficult to react fast enough against mind games at pallets. I like this build because it takes that first hit you get on a survivor and really turns it from an inconvenience into a problem.
M&A goes really nice with prayer beads + nurses calling. Especially with SB + Thana making healing take so long you're bound to run into someone if you have 3+ people injured which usually can happen in the first 1:20 of the game. With M&A + Core, you can keep survivors on their toes. Having them constantly repositioning to heal themselves. Which ultimately, is less time doing gens, which is what this builds aims to achieve.
Make Your Choice is just a filthy perk, when you get a hook, if they don't bring another survivor to do some kind of fake out, someone is going down. Having the threat of someone always on hook means someone always has to be saving someone from a hook. That cuts the amount of survivors doing gens in half. And with healing changes punishing self care, the other two might be healing each other in a corner not doing gens. Assuming you have 1 hit on each survivor. The strength of this perk is not unique to The Spirit, but this perk has great synergy with this core build setup. Having two people injured at all times increases the penalty on healing from 20% to 29%. Looking at the numbers that doesn't seem like much, but in game it feels like hell. especially when you're constantly healing yourself and your teammates. Add in the threat of prayer beads + nurses and it makes for a scary match for survivors.
This build takes a weakness innate to killers, switching targets after one hit, and turns it into a strength. There is no time limit in this game. So long as generator progress is stopped or at the very least, is going slow, with this core perk setup time will be on the side the The Spirit. Nurses calling is really what allows this to happen as The Spirit with eventually see you. And if I see you, if I phase walk over to you, and if I'm running prayer beads so you can't hear me, you're going down. And there is no counter player to that situation. This build aims to keep survivors in a constant state of healing each other. Which is very fun when used in tandem with The Spirit due to her ability to strike from invisibility. The learning curve to this build requires mental mapping of where survivors are most likely to be, if you are not running another aura perk. Although if you can get the ball rolling, this core perk setup coupled with your choice of 4th perk can have the game grind to a stop as survivors are frantically trying to heal themselves and each other.

just run noed it counters teabagging survivors who sit in the gatesNot really.... Actually not at all. It's the safe effect. You still have to smack them, and they still crawl out. Unless they are dumb and teabag you from the middle of the gate.
What NOED does is give a killer a chance during the endgame. Normally the survivors can split between two gates and get them both rather safely. With NOED you can start throwing people on hooks making the gates unsafe until they find the totem.
you took me way too literally friend, take a chill pill

When pallet hitboxes get fixed you can buff them all you like. Right now the hitboxes of those little ######### is incredibly misaligned.
EDIT: Wait a minute, a full minute? You need to do research into how DBD's meta game functions before you start making suggestions like this. It seems like you came up with an idea and then just thought a minute sounds like a good amount of time for a killer not to have access to bloodlust.
-
I think this rework does everything a rework can for a perk, any conversations whose points exist outside the scope of this perk are not going to be solved by a rework of this perk. This perk may make prominent issues regarding meta-game balance, but I think this rework accomplishes the task of diminishing that prominence so that all we are left with is the normal game imbalance. Which cannot be solved by just reworking any perk.

Is that a problem? I thought we were trying to solve the problem of lobby dodges not the problem of killers not wanting to play with sweaty swf groups.
-
its simple, just split a queue for solo and swf play, and you'll have no more lobby dodges
-
NOED counters griefers, it ruins their fun cause they can't boolli you after the exit gates are open. That's why they call it a noob perk.
-
What NOED was actually made for is to counter altruism, griefers, and teabaggers. NOED does nothing if survivors just leave through exit gates instead of hook swarming once the gates are open.

False reports clogging the system? That's a stretch don't you think? Just make reporting unavailable until the end of the match. Unless you're talking about steam reports through the overlay.

False reports like "the killer camped" ?^^
@Orion said:
Anyone who plays Killer for an extended period of time knows that they'll get reported for everything under the sun, including not letting someone live (hatch), "tunneling", "camping", and a bunch of other made-up Survivor rules. The problem is that those Survivors confuse their made-up rules with the actual rules of the game and make many false reports. Its not a stretch by any means, they are trying to cut down on the false reports like those mentioned above, they happen on both sides of the game and they discussed possible time out bans for those abusing the report system on the stream as it is taking up too much time and keeping them from reacting to real reports quicker.
The system in place only allows you to report after your game has finished, the thing is as a solo player If I see something I think is possibly a hack why should I or anyone have to wait until the game ends for everyone? certain add-ons and perks can make you wonder how something happened, seeing the add-ons and perks at the end screen enables you to see WHY it happened.

The only reason I can think of is they do not know how to differentiate between SWF and solo queues after the game.why would doing it for solo queues be a problem?
False reports clogging up the system, perks and addons can make every game different, if someone uses a Killer addon to see through walls for example they shouldnt get reported for wall hacking, they want players to see what each one was using at the end of the game so certain things happening made sense, thats not the problem it all comes down to SWF abusing that info when someone dies.

You seem to misunderstand what the original user was referring to. He was referring to false reports within the context of wall hacks and cheating software. False reports were not in reference to certain game play styles of people who play killer.

Survivors were originally not meant to be a group @Aviema the game was meant to b 1v1v1v1v1. Survive at the cost of othersEveryone can still pip even if this game, in its current state, was a free for all. I don't see how what I said was contingent on this game being a 4v1. This game is not competitive by definition, even if it was a 1v1v1v1v1.
-
how can this be competitive game when both sides can win?
competition a contest between rivals
contest a struggle for superiority or victorycan't have a contest if both sides can achieve victory
can't have competition if there is no contest
Both parties can achieve victory in DbD
therefore DbD is not competitivethis is true as long as victory in DbD is defined by attaining a pip

They already lowered the CD, it used to be 20 seconds. Her ability isn't meant to be spammed, its like a sniper shot, you have to make the times where you use it count. I like that players are unable to spam her ability because it makes using her ability, and how you use that ability, feel important. And remember its 15 seconds to recharge from full. Increasing her base movement speed from 110% to 115% to free up her ability use so that it is not always required to move around the map, and decreased the amount of time it takes to activate her ability by 15%. She would have less restriction about how she needed to be played which would increase the killer's ability to manifest their skill through The Spirit.

again with those numbers, Jesus Blah, Blah, Blah,,,,,,,Blah. everybody thinks the world is a ball why? they told you that from birth the first thing you see in kindergarten is a ball and they tell you that's what we live on, it every day on tv/internet/ every where you go, so you believe it. Why would they lie about it no sense but it dose find out why on your own. In this game all the killers speed is 110% NOT IN THE REAL WORLD, not for some of us. and those numbers ( evidence about 3-4 man swf friends ) mean nothing. Wake up and smell the coffee.are you pretending to be #########?
-
Make it so the hatch requires a key, and the key doesn't spawn inside a chest.until all gens are done or there is one survivor remaining. Have the chest make noise but only to the survivor and only within a 1 meter radius of the chest. Have it so there is a time to open the hatch long enough for the killer to get 2 hits in, and make it so the killer can't hatch grab once it is open. Allow partial progress on the hatch just like gens. Have the hatch be invisible until the survivor finds the key. Don't let the hatch make noise until 25% of its completion using the key is made. Give the survivors a directional indicator for the hatch for 5 seconds after obtaining the key, something akin to the killer hit detection after breaking a pallet.
-
From my knowledge there are two types of survivor vaults that have different speeds. A slower vault will give more time for the killers weapon hitbox to collide with the survivors body hitbox. The way the hitboxes function is what most likely lends to these moments of "how did that hit him?" and "how did that not hit him?". Whether or not the way hotboxes interact with each other is intentional, I can't say for certain, but this game has been out since 2016.
-

I mean, I get that the forums are boring. But this is too much bulli. If you're having trouble with the spirit, I hear a really good counter to her is running around and making as much noise as you can to confuse her!
No really, it works!

If killer does it early game though then survivors just need to spread out and each work on a seperate gen, killer can only protect 1 at a time and leave 2 open to be worked on so just rotate and you will eventually get the gens.
What if they run overcharge+unnerving?

@Killigma said:
Nothing really. If the Killer is set on a three gen strat then he will not move from this position. Most Killers can be baited or even tilted enough to give in and chase the Survivors. But as I said if he is dedicated to that strat, then there is not much you can do except have three gens being worked on constantly, while stopping any regression asap.Is this how killers play in higher ranks normally?
