Underrated perks w/ strong synergy
What are some perks that yall use that are generally frowned upon or considered as "bad" but pair well w/ other perks?
To start - I believe we can all agree that Hex:Nothing but misery is fairly weak. My personal issue is not the 8 hits to activate it, nor the 15 second duration - merely the weak 5%. BUT it does pair well when you run PWYF b/c when you attack - you lose 1 of 3 tokens BUT if you hit a survivor, you can very easily off-set any loss in speed. For instance - suppose you have 2 stacks of PWYF - thats pretty strong, if you hit a survivor - you go down to 5% haste only, but Nothing but Misery basically off-sets that loss in speed.
Now I will openly admit that Hex: Nothing but misery IS WEAK but it does have decent synergy

None Are Free is a perk that None Are Using(can you, dear reader, guess which killer this perk belongs to without googling it?)
it's not even a bad perk by itself, just another victim of Opportunity cost more than anything. However, if you pair None Are Free with either Rancor or NOED you will strike fear into your victims hearts. In fact, just the mere Entity blocking of the pallets is one of those "...uh that's not good right?" moments.
Finding that sneaky Lara with Finesse with 0 hooks at the end is honestly one of my greatest joys as killer
dont remind who it belongs to, i see his face everywhere i go…
I guess you could say none are free from him...we are forever entwined to suffer nothing but misery
he has marked me…i will have to calculate what 1000 - 7 equals…
i remember when i expressed my hate of this man for it all to backfire on me in the most horrendous way possible on the dbd discord
i was given a nickname and everything
Premonition
Its one if not the best information perk for survivor. It counters any undetectable or killer power that prevents detection as it currently even activates when Xeno is in its tunnels, Springtrap going through doors etc. It can't be countered and it always works. It will help you avoid killer quite easily as for example you are fixing a gen it activates just start moving away from the gen walking you usually have time to get quite decent distance and then just wait until the killer gets bored, somehow finds you or leaves. Works surprisingly well too trust me. You can synergy it with Fixated or Urban to move even faster.
how could that backfire? would you not get a standing ovation and have a mod personally shake your hand for your brave opinion on the Ghoul? I ask for him to come to 2v8 and I get sent to gulag
Someone drew fan art of me and the ghoul, and nicknamed me his lover. i left the server after that.
and honestly, im getting downvoted for this, but he could be better in 2V8
yeah no it backfired terribly
huh, maybe I need to join the server lmao. but maybe not, I don't want fan art of me and Wraith. I'm sorry you experienced that...dbd players amirite?
Never join the server lol its horrible there. but yeah totally im traumatized.
If Ghoul was added to 2v8 what do you think they could change about him there
5 dashes and instadown on grab obviously

sorry had a stroke
this is only my 2 cents, but I think G***l can come to 2v8 as is, but we'd probably have to do something specific about his latch mechanic because otherwise he'd just power creep Deathslinger as a superior support killer. Maybe give the survivor complete damage immunity upon eating a healthy survivor.
I like to think that Kanekis self stun would make him a bit more tolerable vs 8 survivors than vs 4. I'm on record for saying that Legion wasn't a big deal in 2v8, however I think Legion>Ghoul in 2v8 which is the only reason I ask for him even though I know people think I'm just trolling. I think he could be the compromise for a "support" killer that people would like to play but don't want to play Deathslinger
I honestly agree, i applaud you sir, and shall go to the gulag in your place
Repressed Alliance with Wiretap
and Blast Mine can make the Wiretap last even longer :P
Started using this with sprint burst and I no longer have to wait to see where the killer is to pre run with it, or be in the TR and be confused as to where the killer may be, or have to worry about stealth killers at all. I always thought premonition was bad until today its a surprisingly good perk and I recommend more try it.
I'm not sharing my Survivor combos just in case they end up in another patch note 🤣
D:
if they do you can always borrow my treacherous crows+no mither combo Plagues and Myers hate this one trick...
my guy
what were you cooking
I cooked the birds too long I burned down the entire Haddonfield block. oops.
MICHEAL, DONT LEAVE ME HERE, MICHEAL
Only if you can hit them with the blast mine before repressed Alliance otherwise blast mine isn't going to be doing a lot
I have had matches where it has worked as the killer will try to kick it eventually. So if they can't kick it rightaway they will try after they finish chasing the survivor they might been chasing.
smash hit with exultation and a brown fog vile is loads of fun. Pop the vial in chase camp the pallet for a stun make ton of distance and pop another free vial to disappear.
Honorable mention to bada-bada boom, chem trap, blastmine/wiretap. Really fun build as well and it’s absolutely disgusting if there’s a gen at shack or a TL
I fear all the time for No Mither. It's one of the very few favorites I have that have been safe. 😭
ive learnt that people with no mither are horrible or really good lol
I love it because it forces you to move. It was the first perk that really taught me how to be brave when I was new. It pairs beautifully with so many perks as well. I've been No Mither gen jockey, No Mither healer, No Mither totem squad, etc. I haven't run it as often since the Distortion nerf however. With how aggressive the game has gotten, it's just a one way ticket out.
