Take Away Clauds Brown Clothes

Having a survivor be basically invisible on certain areas of map is #########.

Why hasn't this been addressed in the last 2 years?

Are you actually defending selling advantages in the in-game store? If there is even a slight doubt as to if a cosmetic grants an advantage, it should not be in the store, period.

Nah, but everyone has two little balls in his head that might be able to do something against this.

And in the end, changing these cosmetics would simply hurt players who actually want to play stealthy. And Killers want more Stealth. But apparently not. Strange thing.

(I dont use those cosmetics btw, so for my own gameplay, I couldnt care less. But I also have no problem with spotting Claudettes, and I am pretty sure, there are many times where Killers actually spotted a Claudette very easily, who thought that she was invisible... But of course this will not be mentioned, no no)

  • It applies to everyone. To my knowledge killers dont have any cosmetics that do this. There is also the entire terror radius thing...

Spirit has hair that makes her harder to spot through corn.

If a cosmetics allows you to be better than stealth, then it is P2W. It also makes no sense for Claudette to be vastly better at stealth than every other survivor in the game.

Ah yeah, the basegame Character with the basegame cosmetics is P2W... Cool. Out of arguments?

Did you read the rest of the post? Her brown clothes are a problem, but so are the grey ones. Again, if we could fix the audio, that would be most ideal.

The brown clothes can be bought with shards earned in game so not P2W.

  • Had a game over the weekend where a 3 Claudette SWf dressed in all brown played an offering of the Yamaoka Estate and had lots of fun running in front of me and then just crouching. I had to force myself to not take it out on the random Laurie who was dressed in blue.

Let's be honest, if bhvr brightened the offending cosmetics by 20%, it wouldn't break the game.

I've never known such nonesense as hearing people say Claudette is invisible, lol.

Are you colorblind? If not, let me fill you in: this game has no colorblind option, and there are many forms of colorblindness. Someforms have problems with specific color combinations, which can make them virtually indistinguishable. Having a character be essentially a single color across their entire model is a very bad detriment to people who suffer from most forms of colorblindness, even when it is not colors they are specifically affected by (due to their need to compensate in case it IS a color they have trouble with)

These issues wouldnt even be AS bad if the sound for killers didnt get worse with every update, except that one where they fixed it for a month before breaking it again.

I think the "P2W" comment is due to the fact that it is "premium content" (i.e. not supplied as base in the game) and gives a very clear advantage. While a bit of a misnomer, it can still technically apply since the cosmetics can be bought with actual money.

    Apples and oranges.

You are comparing a unique individual case (Claudette) versus an ability EVERYONE HAS (hiding in cornfields).

Claudette being damn near invisible is not OK.

The thing, as I already said, is that Claudette is not the only one with this issue. Francis has this too with his prestige or purchased clothes, same with some Meg's clothes, and even Jake and David can become invisible with certain hairstyles and clothes while facing a wall. So, as I said, maybe Claudette is a 10% more of an issue than the others I mentioned, but if Claudette is first, next will be Francis, and so on there will be no black people, no long hair hairstyles and only bright clothes to wear.

    Please don’t be hysterical.

Literally every single survivor besides Claudette has something about them that allows killers to know the difference between a survivor and a piece of debris. Nobody has a problem with these characters, and the minor complaints are minor because yes, while Adam can have dark clothes it’s given away by his large model and flowing coat. You can still find Adam. You can still tell it’s Adam and not some junk and clutter in Lery’s.

There is something quite gross in you insinuating there can be no black characters - of course there can be. It has nothing to do with blackness. The issue lies in Claudette being a petite model with form fitting clothes that are very earthy in tone. The designers clearly went with earth tones to signify her role as a botanist, they can achieve the same by instead making her clothes more vibrant and floral. Bam problem fixed.

Hysterical? Do you even know the meaning of that word? And why are you making this personal by attacking like that? Making it personal and attacking makes your point better? How low can you go? Disgusting. Not gonna have an argument with such a person. Have a nice day, honey.

  • Claudette isn't even invsibile. And especially not with the brightness change in patch 2.3 or something.

If you can't see Claudette with the new brightness, that's a problem with your eyes, not the game.

I don't mind removing Claudettes clothes, just give us back old lighting and I'll be perfectly happy.

  • Make Claudette white

Thats why it was a wrong statement by the original poster, the term P2W is used for anything which gives an advantage that can only be bought with real money, hence the pay part.

Some people have tried to expand it for items they have to work for instead as they don't want to put in the effort and want everything handed to them.

If it's earnable in game it's never P2W as you do not have to part with any money, not to mention the clothes in question on the store are also some of the cheapest to buy with shards and can be earned with a few levels of devotion easily.

  • Can't wait for the brown shirt Claudettes to march in here like its Nuremberg.

  • They brightened the maps. It is not as bad as it once was. With all the bugs and gameplay mechanic issues, this is what is keeping you up at night?

No one complains about Adam because Adam has a big model with tall hair and a flowing white coat, even if it is bloody.

Claudette is small and her clothes are dark and washed out that blend into the map. Every survivor has something in their basic gear that makes them stick out, except Claudette.

Adam has a black coat. He has the same camou as Claudette. It's better actually -- black vs. brown.

No, because Adam is still a large model, his hair is pretty distinguishable, and while he has black and navy coats, they still flow. You can spot him easier than Claudette who literally can hide in plain sight. Also the brown is actually better because it blends in better with the earth tones of the map.

@SenzuDuck She is a bit harder to see than others but it is dramatic to say she is invisible 😂

  • A bit harder to see than the others? It's a world of difference.

I normally play Nea in bright obnoxious clothing and can easily hide from the killer in a lot of situations. The odd time I play killer I use stridor, whispers and my ears to find the good hiders.

Indeed. Half a killers perk slots should be set aside and assigned to find hiding claudettes.

    Great design A++

  • Hiding Claudettes also need to go all-in with their build for stealth. Contrary to popular killer opinion, you can't just stand still and the killer won't see you.

For the record, I use Feng Min for stealthing. It's very effective. Feng Min doesn't have brown clothes but she can blend in just the same. I have gotten away with the exact same jukes as I do with Camou Claudette using Ninja Feng Min. And on the flip side, many good killers have found me in Camou Claudette mode even when I hide in the bushes in Haddonfield or hide in the shadows at McMillan.

Claudette's clothes are seriously not a big deal. If they are, you just need to get better at the game.

I mean I use it to find everyone, if you read the full comment you would have noticed that. It's a good set up in general.

  • I think they just need to like change the saturation of her clothes

Claudette can only hide in plain sight if the killer is bad at searching.

Maybe your eyes are bad or your monitor is lousy, but many killers can find claudettes hiding in bushes and tall grass. Heck even I can find Claudette in the corn fields and I don't even play Killer much.

And for the record I have used other survivors to hide in "plain sight" bad killers will miss you and good ones will find you regardless of what skin you're using.

  • P3 Tapp is the same problem, have fun spotting him in macmillan lmao.

    Like anyone plays him

  • Maps that counter Claudette's brown outfit, better suited to her bluish grey outfit:

    [ Léry's Memorial Institute ]

    [ Gideon Meat Plant ]

It's a gamble every time you play as to weather your outfit will be beneficial or detrimental

  • Devs, if you do take her brown clothes away, please make sure she is wearing white bra and panties underneath.

  • When i see claudettes i consider them noobs just cus shes sooo ez to camo the only solution make her white (dont call me racist cuz she was white in the alpha dont know why they change her)

  • Take away the bright clothes too wooo! Let us see some skin girl!!!!
