Distortion change... really?
1 extra token buff is going to save this? Really?
Just give it a way of restoring tokens instead. I think 1 token for save unhooking would be great and it would fit Jeff's theme.

A significant buff to Distortion possibly could’ve shifted the survivor meta but what do they do? One extra token! Take it or leave it!
I know it's not nice to complain about buffs, but I just think it's super lazy and doesn't change anything...
I wouldn’t call it complaining, I would just say it’s feeling disappointed.
Distortion going from 3 to 4 tokens could completely shatter the balance in this game so it requires extensive, weeklong testing.
Really wish they would just add a way to regain tokens
Meanwhile Shadowstep with infinite tokens for whole team :D
meanwhile dead man's switch gets a huge buff, which is a perk that's almost never used just like distortion, and distortion gets... bhvr's balancing has got to be the funniest in multiplayer games. sigh
Well you'll be able to counter chili
4 TIMES!
Such change
That's why unhooking would be so good way to restore tokens. It gets used by BBQ and you get option to gain it back :D Token wars!
Yeah this one I was really excited about when I saw it got a change.
And then pure disappointment.
Maybe restoring tokens like Stake-Out, hiding near the killer without being caught. It's on theme with the stealth nature of the perk.
Yeah, tbh I giggled at that change. Adding one token won't make anyone reconsider using the perk. In a world where Shadow Step exists it wouldn't be unreasonable to have a way to regain tokens. personally I like the idea of getting them for safe unhooks.
Meanwhile I'm just sitting here looking at all the killer perks with absolutely moronic conditions and going, 'really'?
At least a couple of them got fixed this time around, progress is progress
Distortion tokens are still consumed when your aura is blocked by shadow step.
But if you know that BBQ is being used then wouldn't you do something to keep as many stacks as possible?
Most of the perk changes are small changes
Does Distortion trigger when you are inside a Shadow Step boon ?
Shadowstep cant reveal killer perks
Yes, distortion stacks are consumed while inside shadow step.
That's got to be an oversight, because Distortion is supposed to activate when your aura would be revealed to the killer
lmao, i didn't know that, that's so stupid
I try to, but I'm always wrong place wrong time, it sucks, but at the end of the day, 3 to 4 is fine for me
Its probably a priority issue where the game checks for distortion first before the effect of shadow step.
The best buff Distortion could have had was to block aura reading within 8/12/16 meters as a passive. Or have it still tell you when your aura is being seen after the tokens are gone, that way it could still be somewhat useful .
A way to regain tokens would've been so much better.
No one was using Distortion... And no one will use it. The buff is nice but not enough to encourage to use it for more variety.
I don't think any of the Survivor's perks from this patch are gonna be used more than before.
I literally rolled my eyes at that one. Might as well just save the trouble and don't "buff" it. It's laughable at best. Useless perk, stays just as useless, but hey at least they can say they "buffed" it.
Hi, my name is no one :(
That sucks
There was a time in which I used Distortion, that time is beyond me and this buff will change things.
Hey, at least distortion is somewhat decent, unlike buckle up
What I dont get is the Boil Over Buff....from first glance it seems it's now a full counter to Killers who dont use Iorn Grasp and the ones who use it basically will start slugging because well there still is the Boil Over hack.....
