Hi, I have a question. Does anyone here have experience with RTSS? My PC isn’t the most powerful, so I was having issues with FPS drops. I looked into a few things that could help, and it actually improved the situation — though I still get occasional FPS drops from time to time. Then I found out about RTSS and that it might help. I play like 4 games in 60 FPS and all of the sudden it's dropping to constant 18-25 FPS. Happens every time i play no matter if I tab out or not, have other programs up or not etc…. What's going on? It has been happening to me off and on for three or four months now where once or twice a month I'll just be dropped from the middle of a match to the end game lobby, connection to the server lost. It only ever happens when I'm playing Killer and has always been just as or right after I've hooked a Survivor. It has never been on first hook but it did happen second hook once. I'm using my Steam Deck docked and on Desktop mode, while attempting to use the Steam feature of Game Recording DbD won't respond at all to the shortcut keys or even if I attempt to record the whole game session, not even the default F12 hotkey for screenshot works. Recently played against Ghoul using Jason's' Iri add on that makes survivors scream and reveal their location. What I want to know is if that add-on still procs even when hiding within a locker. For perks like Infectious fright and Friends till the end, Hiding in a locker prevents that. But does it not work for that add-on? So I have been playing the Ghoul primarily and I have him leveled up to about halfway through P4. Pretty much every game i use the coffee add on, as most people also probably do. However i somehow am getting ZERO coffee add ons in my bloodweb. I havent played a TON of games with them, probably only 50, and while i have around 200 of the other three add ons i have one coffee. What is preventing Killers from being able (while in a pre-game lobby looking at a group of survivors) swapping from one Killer to the other? Survivors can change out who theyre playing once theyre in the pre-game - are we stuck behind some kind of programming wall we haven't figured out yet? Having played many games, I noticed that the advantage is always on the side of the killer, regardless of his ping. I literally have not played a single match yet, mostly because I keep hearing that the state of the game isn't great at the moment due to the Ghoul being overpowered (?) and how frequent players are up against that killer. I'm not sure if I should wait until the Ghoul gets some changes? I recently got a new computer and my game performance has been terrible. Constant stuttering and frame drops happens often. It's getting unplayable. Does anybody have any ideas on how to fix this? So cross progression is out. I went to go link my accounts and I got my PS account linked but I had accidentally linked the wrong Xbox account. Why is that when for example running the yellow duration add-on and using up all of the power bar, the cool-down time is 18-ish seconds whereas if one were to run the purple duration add-on and stop at the 6-second mark, the total cooldown would be 19-ish seconds? Ive been getting back into the game recently, and im having an issue with my fps limit, whenever i set it to 90 or below theres 0 issue, however, when i set my fps limit to 120 (i have a 144hz monitor) it makes it so that my browser (firefox) and any external apps (discord/steam) become super choppy and bad to navigate. I seem to be having a lil problem. For some reason the game drops from 120 down to 70 frames just randomly every like 10 seconds and it is just terrible. Does anyone have a solution on how to fix it? Anyone else had this issue? When I launch the game on steam (trying to move from console to pc, just got new computer) it does the initialization, and then opens to the black loading screen with trapper, and then gets stuck on this screen, never actually opening to the game. The patch notes don't say anything about a reduction in % chance or making them hidden. They for sure aren't hidden on live, and both played against me so far has worked. A friend told me both of these were coming, and I was expecting them to be this patch.
