i literally had survivors spawn in my LoS a couple of times.

like, i spawn in, the cam goes around my character and i already see them standing on a hill xD

I did get that as both killer and survivor, as a survivor it was only when the killer used the "all survivor's spawn separated" offering tho and usually was easy to not get spotted since you rarely expect a svv to be under your nose 5m into the game as a killer.

  • @HeckaYeah said:

As a survivor main, I can understand where this comes from. I see a lot of games in the lower ranks where we fly through the gens, 99 gates and wait out the count.

BUT in higher rank games, it's more often than not we just slide by barely making it. I've seen more than 80% when there's a hook after EGC that we're unable to save and have to make the call to leave or to save. And that's if we even make it to EGC.

While I think that adding in killer gen interactions besides smashing them and the potential to close a gate is a good idea, I don't necessarily think it would be fully required. Maybe add limitations to it? You (the killer) may close the gate in the last 3ed of the EGC? For generators you may reverse the status if its more than half way complete but abandoned OR there are 2 left to be completed. That way the survivor can preform any unhooks for the rift challenges but still feel the pressure and add the extra push to keep the game moving.

Yeah, if you get to EGC and are pressured by the killer, you should get out, if not you will get out anyway after doing your safe-ish save.

Right now, all a killer is getting from EGC is a chance of survivor playing terribly bad and getting something out of it or the killer continuing to see the same stomping they went through the whole game xD

Killer should have ability to sit and unrepair genegator. While gen unrepair killer will get skill checks. If skillcheck failed - gen gain 5% of progress.

Perfect for my ghostface, I'm tired or only pretending I'm repairing gens on the other side of clueless survivor. Let me actually fully commit to it!

    My top 3:

    1. Ghostface, for obvious reasons. I wish it was still the phone one, but I can't say I don't like the camera.
    2. Demo. He eats face. I wish the head wouldn't stay attached, but that's just a small complaint.
    3. Legion. I like how the survivor tries to escape. It's cute.

For legion, I feel the mori could have had a bit more stabbing to illustrate he frenzy more. it feels more like a calculated murder which only one of them would be 100% capable off while the rest would mostly do it for the adrenaline rush. Right now the mori feel like a killer enjoying their pray, not someone going frenzy and stabbing someone to death until the adrenaline rush drops as the legion power would have me expect.

    But that's just me nitpicking.

  • I like ghostface's one for the slight comical effect of it and how close to the movie mentality it does strike (movie killer the in-game Ghostface is most def not based on *wink wink*)

    Same goes for Michael's morí.

After that, I have no particular feeling for them, they are more or less brutal or realistic and suit the character pretty well but none really strike me more than the rest.

Side note : One I'd like to see implemented for the violence of it in its absence of violence would be the killer going on its knees to soflty pick the survivor of the ground and hold you tenderly in their arms as you pass out and they close your eyes respectfully. The creepiness of such a mori would be great IMO.

So we're ok with eating people, ripping off their faces and wearing them, we're ok with them being impaled in end game and having huge spikes driven through their body, but we draw the line at kicking a deformed twin?

People should stop calling it a baby, because it's certainly not that.

Remind me of the person that keeps and bringing freddy's map mattress and how it is a reference to the sexual abuses he inflicted in children's...

Yeah that's too much, but like you said, canibalism, murder, torture, sadism, psychological abuse, that's perfectly acceptable in the game.

I'm sadden to see OP feel an issue with Viktor in game but would like to remind them that as far as we know, Viktor could have been in the entity realm for 1 minute or 1 millenia, making it possibly older than you'll ever be able to reach in your life.

And talking about underage survivor's, we already have that... Nancy...

PS : talked about it to my wife m, she brought up a strong point, they are conjoint twins, which make Victor as hold as her.

    Case rested

Every time I go up against a killer I never have any fun what so ever no matter how good or bad I played. Even if I escaped I didn't enjoy myself, it just feels like I'm always running (I run spine chill so I know when he's coming) and just hiding and gen rushing.

Then if he chases me I go down so quickly cause of his range, free zoning, and making it to where my choices don't matter and that isn't fun.

I either go down quickly or just be immersed and gen rush and neither one is fun at all

Is there a way to enjoy going up against a deathslinger?

    Yes

  • @Leachy_Jr said:

It's funny, I find a lot more killers than survivors sweating pubs. I thought it would be the other way around.

But yea I wish there wasn't as many people sweating from both killer and survivor, just kinda makes the game unfun when you play against a ruin undying spirit or a 4 man DS UB squad.

Well, killer at red rand is stressful as heck. As a survivor, you have 3 potential meat shield in the game to take the killer's attention while you hold M1 to pip.

Killer need to catch survivor's many times, patrol the map to apply pressure, be mindful of not getting punished for playing fair (i.e, good ol DS after you hooked someone else and you find the freshly unhooked person on your way out of the hook, insta unhooking with Bt and body blocking survivor purposely slowing you down to cover for the risky and bad play of their teamates)

If you attach any importance to your rank, as a killer, you have to try as hard as you can, as a survivor, you just chat with your friend on VC about the weather and what not and still get safety to promo along the way.

Or, here's a tip: Stop being so sensitive to pixels going up and down. Like, good god. Someone T-Bags and you camp them to death? That's just childish imo. Grow a pair and stop being so triggered over something that has zero impact on a game.

Them dying has no impact on the game since they were busy trying to annoy and provoke the killer and they got exactly what they wanted. All in all, a survivor going for any form of BM ending up being face camped is exactly what they were looking for.

I wouldn't do it myself, ignore it and laugh at them everytime I catch them off guard, but I don't see why a survivor acting as disrespectful as they can should be surprised that the killer doesn't respect them.

Would you give the hatch to a survivor who's t-bagged you everytime they could?

We all have different standard and for some, face camping is the adequate response to SVV being insulting.

Just like survivor that catch a toxic killer face camping will usually tbag or flashlight click to taunt them after a successful save.

    You reap what you sow.

  • It's normal, when I play Dbd, be it in killer or survivor, I okay with one rule : never treat your opponent as if they were stupid but never forget that they are.

If you are well positioned, you can either get lucky and it work, or you get a hit run to Narnia with the speed buff, use your dead hard / sprint burst to get even more ground between you and the killer and have them feel like it's not worth it or have them waste time in a chase they already are at a disadvantage in. And as a killer... The amount of time I pretend not to see a survivor to smack them the second I get close to them... This got me many early down xD

Wasn't it quietly settled earlier this year? NECA went back to making figures of him and I saw merch in plenty of stores for Halloween.

Merchs are based on already existing movies, and pretty sure they are subject to international copyright laws. The lawsuit is about US ownership. But because of the legal battle, new content can't be made, since now the dispute moved to the writer more or less wanting credit for everything that was made based on the original creation and any upcoming new content, aka, new movie, video games and such.

So adding him to DBD, or updating the Friday the 13th game = new content.

It's a huge mess, and I'm sure i said something wrong in the little i wrote xD

  • No, yui is a biological man that identify as a woman.

  • I'm all up for removing DC penalty!

As soon as you remove bloody ass hats who constantly as soon as anything doesn't go their way or that they are faced with anything that could closely resemble a challenge and doesn't let them get the easy cheesy one they wanted.

Cant remove all the player who dc and ruin every other player's game?

Then I guess the dc penalty is needed to give a way to punish those people.

Why am I even playing as the killer when I always get survivors that are 5+ ranks better than me? And why are they always the salty teabaggers?

Ignore them, have fun, get better or not, but just have fun.

If you get outplayed try to learn from it, if they taunt you simply laugh at them and make fun of yourself even more. One, they won't know how to reply, 2 you may end up getting some advices.

Sadly, people in this game think being toxic is normal so they instantly act on the defensive, assuming anything that's said by the other party is toxic, but many people get off their high horse when they get a polite reply. Hell, if they don't change their act tho, report them and move on xD

the problem with ur argument is that ur not taking into account the realistico of a match. How often will a killer leave you be to go running around the map five totems, or not punish you for doing so? Sure you’ve popped all the totems good job, but now one person on ur team is dead and another is on hook.

Totems were never designed as a secondary objective, thus the game isn’t balanced for survivors to have to cleanse all every single game. I’ve said numerous times on other forms totems is not the way to go for a secondary objective and never will be a true secondary. If killers want one, then it needs to be designed far better than just holding m1 and wandering around the map.

Also doing totems requires even MORE m1 holding which is another sucky part about it, and although I agree survivors need to stop just sitting on gens all the time as their only method of winning, atm there’s not a whole lot more you can do when ruin undying is in play, otherwise should risk throwing the game.

OK, I can see your point again and get where you coming from.

To be fair, I almost always manage to get the totem, if you go at it quick and leave the hex for last, the killer usually doesn't understand what you are doing until it's too late.

As for losing teammates so quick, don't see how it has to do with me on totem, I could have saved them, but if they needed me to survive then, that would still mean that the both of us wouldn't be doing gens on top of the possible regression from the gen they left while ruin was up.

    I guess it's a matter of perspective.

1: It's required in order to prevent killers from taking advantage of these scummy and easy tactics and getting easy wins. No i never said it NEVER comes into play please read my posts before you make these statements. I just said it comes into play alot less then ruin undying would. Personally i almost never run into ds and when i do im usually in a good enough enough position that it doesn't hurt me or its because i've been downing ppl fast with say nurse or blight etc.

2: No the combo makes ruin stay up all game unless the killer literally gives you the time to go and pop all of the totems and find them and travel to them and avoid any potential killers or their powers. I literally stom solo survivors as killer so much now that i intentionally dodge alot of bad players or solo surviovrs because i know the games gonna be boring and a free win. I wanna be playing a game where i can actively make choices to affect the outcome, not automaticalyl win because my oponents r garbage or cause of my perks.

3: I agree in that i like pop alot more as well. It doesn't give you free gen pressure and you have to use it wisely but it can also be very effective when used well. High mobility killers is what literally breaks ruin undying. I've played in tournaments with ruin undying blight and it's just been a stomp fest. In a TOURNAMENT may i remind you where there are co-ordinated teams.

4:The ability for you to down suvivors and beat them in a chase pretty much 100% comes down to you as a killer these days. Sure 2 years ago i might have agreed but so many more loops are mindgameable, easy to deal with or just generally unsafe these days. Plus over half of all killers have an anti loop as well which makes catching survivors a whole lot easier. If you're struggling to down survivors fast take time to rewatch you're gameplay. I can guarantee you will find many ways you could have played the chases better.

5:Sure good teams can deal with the combo but in no way do they "stomp" against it. It's actualyl quite challenging to deal with ruin undyign no matter if you're in a team or not, it's jsut that it hurts solo so much more. Survivors do need to get better you're right, but the game is forcing them to play better these days. You actually need to be good at looping to hold a killer now and you need to know alot of stuff about the game. This can not be said for killer, as you can liteally know the basics fundementals as killer and still stomp because of perks builds and killers, for example deathslinger you literalyl need to know nothing about mindgaming, very little about how loops work and you don't need to worry about a surviovrs skill level or their ability to dodge because of the instant ADS.

6:Corrupt and pop makes life easier but it doesn't siphon the survivors ability to have fun or win as an expense, and they require skill and game knowledge to use.

7:Sure you can learn the totem positions but at the end of the day it's all rng and you still have to go wandering around the map for ages even if you know where all the totems are. you also aren't taking into account any other factors regaring the killers presence and acting as if the killer just lets you go do whatever you want whenever you want. You don't need gen regresison perks on any mediocre-good killer that's just you wanting to use them to make ur life easier. Also think about this when was the most recent of those meta survivor perks released? Lullaby for the darkness. Almost 3 years ago. Killers on the other hand are constantly getting new meta perks. Sure survivors arent getting bad perk but nothing any where near the level of ruin undying, thrilling, surge, infectious, corrupt just to name a few recent killer meta perks.

8: I've played with this combo before, and i've seen what it does to you. You don't need to think anywhere near as much as without it because you don't need to worry about gen regression mechanics at ALL and you can afford to loose a chase and not get punished for it.

No i've got over 2/3rds of my hours on killer. DS/UB are far easier to play around with than ruin undying which the only options you have with that leave you punished and incredibly vunerable as i've mentioned before.

Ruin staying up all game? Boy, must be hard to ignore all those totem for the whole game and blaming it on the killer perks... A totem is what? 15 sec to cleanse? If you can find 15 sec to cleanse a single totem out of the game cause the killer is always on top of you, killer is hacking video it, report it, no killer can do that. And if the killer isn't hacking... Well the problem is still on survivor not doing their job to counter such an easy to counter perk combo. This combo is only good when survivor refused to cleanse and chose to slam gens and ignore everything else, why do you think it's paired with tinkerer ? Same reason, punish survivor who have no awareness and blindly hold M1... Wait, aren't survivor always complaining about the game being all about holding M1 and not caring about the rest? Are survivor now complaining about having pay attention and do more than holding M1 on gens? Guess there's no pleasing some people. =)

Just re read your full message, I do mostly agree about your point on deathslinger, although I'd say that map knowledge is a strong tool against him if the player doesn't have that knowledge himself, be it to make him lose line of sight or double back at a blocked sight loop.

Dude the dbd forums r literal killer main city and look how many complaints are here.

Both sides complain, survivors aren't the evil supervillains in all of this and killers the holy saints. Both sides have their issues. Stop talking like tru3.

? Just look at the current discussion page, count, look how many are from svv, look at killer's look at what killer's post are, look at survivor's post, one ask for nerfing everything, the other ask how to do specific bugged challenge or challenge they find difficult in the rift.

4 svv 1 killer, the chance of complains from a svv is way higher than killers, It's simply mathematically so.

I don't deny killer complains, both side's fanatic are creating unhealthy situations and habits for the community since most of the community follow the mass like a heard of sheep, but stop pretending that survivor are not the main one on a constant crusade against everything killer is just plain denial. Main killer complain are DS+UB, they don't care about UB, they don't mind DS as an anti tunnel, what they hate is that the way DS work, even when not tunneling, you get stabbed in the butt, they ask to seek killer being buffed to see them all on par with the stronger one, same for perks, to give the game variety. Look at survivor's complain, everything is too strong on the killer side and need a nerf, they want DS to be even stronger, to see hook progress stop until the next game if the killer even look around the hook for survivors if nobody shows up on BBQ. XD

I play both side, I get to be insulted by toxic survivor when I i play killer or see them insulting each others and when I play survivor ? I get to see survivor do the same thing and constantly deny their involvement in anything and the killer either being silent or respectful. I see constant survivor teabaging everytime they specially for the one who reach the exit gate or spamming flash light at the killer, taunting the killer in end game chat. I'm only one man, but my experience that isn't based on denying the forum clear post or the clear toxicity happening too often to count if you play solo queue or killer from survivors

So unless your denial makes it that you can't see the actual forum and all it's post... Or didn't played solo queue since long enough for you not be aware of the current state of the game, I will gladly accept your apologies so we can move on to have a normal and constructive conversation =)

Ppl don't realise bt and ds can't go ad long as there's still scummy camping tunneling killers out there. Maybe if more of the killer community was more friendly instead of always creating an us vs them situation

All I see is survivor constantly complain, survivor being toxic in game and on the forum, and I mainly play svv lately.

Almost every solo queue game that isn't with chat impaired players (aka crossplay)

I get survivor blaming the killer for their own mistakes and being the toxic entitled crybabies they always are

Killers? They say a cheeky "GG =)" when they win and lose, or simply nothing at all and move on. Not sure we play the same game or read the same forum, literally go look at the main discussion page, look how many post are main SVV crying to see everything on the killer side nefred xD

  • @Impermanent said:

If they choose to silence an aggravated player expressing the TRUTH, so be it. I wouldn't be surprised.

What truth? 5 totem, I can usually do them in 3/4 minutes on the map I'm the most comfortable on.

It's so easy to counter and barely takes any time on top of giving something else to do other than to hold M1...

Plus, if you don't cleanse totem, what about cheeky NoED?

Add to that that most killer cannot humanly protect all totem, even with info on them being touched...

I don't get all the complaining, it's not broken, it's not without a counter, unlike things like DS+UB or Delivrance + DS, it actually bring more interaction in the game and make playing a a survivor feel more engaging.

It's literally one of the only combo thar makes me feel as an actual survivor chased by a killer and not the other way around.

  • Meh, I did bones before undying, still do now, but now I have even more of an incentive to cleanse it all on top of possibly facing a NoED player.

And yeah, with tinkerer, It's a great combo that final brought pressure back to survivor and make it feel more like a killer hunting survivor rather than survivor hunting the killer like it used to be before xD

But that's only my opinion, not a general statement.

  • @NekoGamerX said:

like it when people say dcer spoil the games of the other players but what they really crying about they got one less meat shield help save they life even if it kills meat shield.

I like the not idea, but bot are either way too strong or plain stupid... And if play stupid, it means having up to 3 free BBQ read for killers, would you feel it to be fair? Because I don't expect bot to have DS xD

  • @xhimsa12x said:

Also you Mayyyyyy have seen a reduction in actual DC’d but i guarantee you’ve seen a dramatic increase in suicide on hook. How has this solved anything? There is no difference other than the killer has no way of suicide.

Good thing the majority of DC didn't come from killers then.

Suicide on Hook penalise the survivors majorly, sound fair since a survivor is Dcing, why would the killer be penalised even more than already with the loss of potential hooking?

As for suicide on hook, I don't see them as much as I saw DC plaguing the game.

On a second thought, being the altruistic type, I did unhook people that were attempting to suicide many time as a survivor, or so it felt... So I may not have a proper idea of how bad it is.

Nothing was “FIXED” with the penalty! People just kill themselves on hook now. There is ZERO difference in that! You are MORE likely to be face camped by a Cannibal than you are to have random DCers in your party of survivors. It’s happened to me over and over again nearly every day i play at some point. You’ve decided to punish one part of your customers because another group of your customers wanted you to. That’s Kind fo sick of you ask me. Also this isn’t a technical issue on my end. I’ve seen you say this to a few people today. YOUR system crashed. My internet did. My connection has run near flawlessly sans a week ago. Why would i go onto the technical side of there isn’t anything you are going to do about it? I’ve still had an entire day of gaming planned that is now ruined. My time has once again been wasted. Unacceptable

Wait, what? I had dc almost every single game as a killer and most likely more than 1 per game average on some days as a dc usually meant someone else would DC shortly after.

The week before the dc penalty got up, i remember streaming a bit of killer gameplay to a friend yo show her that perks were not everthing on a killer and reading the opponent could do more, pyramid head, level 1, no perk, first down, DC, grabbed dude in a locker 30sec later, second DC.

This is what the killer experience was like before the DC penalty came back. People not liking being down first? they dc, they don't like your killer? DC, they didn't like that someone self cared instead of letting them heal? DC, they didn't get a spot on a 3 man gen they left to open a chest / cleanse a totem? DC.

Literally every reason possible for dc was used to justify being a toxic players that ruin the experience of 4 other people for the sake of their incapacity to simply play the game they chose to start.

  • I love to face clown, pyramid head, pig, ghostface, myers if not a perma T3, demo and blight.

Killer I rarely enjoy playing against... Spirit and Doctor.

  • @SunderMun said:

DC penalty is incredibly unhealthy for the game in my experience.

Yeah, i hate seeing so few ragequit ever since it has been introduced, it was always fun to see people DC to deny me the point for wining a chase and making the game hell for the 3 other survivor in their team.

It would be healthier to reward people for DCing, maybe giving them a double pip each game a few hundred thousand points would be better. They only dc because the game isn't fun for them it's horrible to punish people for not having fun when they already are punished enough by being denied the amusement they were seeking in game by some terrible killers and team mates who think THEIR fun also matters.

  • I'm a red rank survivor.

Camping, i rarely ever see it, wouldn't be able to tell you when I last saw a proper camping killer that had no reason to be around the hook. Tunnelling? This happens commonly enough to be noticed but I never really notice it as it rarely if ever happen to me (I'm a sneaky fella) so when the team is down to 2vs1... Yeah, i can be "tunneled" by definition, but I'd never call that tunneling personaly, not like the killer as much choice, it's either 1 or the other so first one to get found get chased xD

10 'quid' is half the price of the game.

    Your arguement is invalid

10 quid is infinity time more than the cost of LOL, DOTA, Fortnite, R6 siege and all the other game that apply this price, it's also the price for all the payed game with customisations in a cash shop, like world of warcraft for exemple, what did you try to say?

All I could understand was "hur durr, i need to talk someone down without making any point because I disagree about something I cannot comprehend"

If you have a problem with how the industry price things, take it on someone else than me, I'm sorry I gave you proper information about the current situation of cosmetic in the online video game world, but no need to take it out on me.

cause they make the cages spawn next to your team mates

Small correction: cages spawn as far away from PH as possible. Your teammates are not taken into account. What happens is that your teammates are usually going to be far away from the killer regardless, so you spawn near them, but that's a coincidence.

Anyway, cages are not hooks, so this is normal. If cages were to act as hooks, you'd also have BBQ and other killer perks being activated by them, which you do not want.

Agreed, since the cage would still counter DS, and BT would hardly if ever trigger on getting out of cage, unless on a very tiny map.

This would be a huge buff to Pyramid head and an overall nerf to survivor's interaction with cage

Imagine getting "make your choice" on cage saving xD

Fairly sure I was playing swf on comms yesturday afternoon. I had just reached rank 1 killer for the first time ever, with a total of 600 hours in game with more than 400 hours on survivor. After I managed to death hook one of them, the other three got out. The only comment in chat was "i can see why you can't stay rank 1 killer..." I said "gg".

After playing both sides, I've learned to be more sympathetic to both sides but I do find that survivors are much more likely to be salty, even if they win!

Well , 4 survivor, 1 killer, that's 3 chances of a salty survivor if you play one yourself or 4 if you are a killer. And if you play svv... Well, only one killer still xD

Add to that people feeling empowered when they see other being toxic and apparently never being punished for it, you get the salty pile of sore loser and sore winner sprinkled with its accompagnement of DC and suicide of first hook \0/

I do find that if you act respectful, both side reply positively most of the time, be it in matches or end game chat

  • I'd like to see them explore other video game franchise for nostalgia's sake.

I think it's more or less that FNaF is seen as more of a "kids" game, despite being six years old now. Back in the day, it was known for having one of those communities, one where it just had to breach everything even if it wasn't remotely related. Kinda like Undertale - I feel like the communities kinda ruined a lot of peoples viewpoints on the game. Personally, I don't really care if Springtrap made it in - I'm not a huge fan of FNaF, but it's not like I would despise it. I would be more or less indifferent. From everything I've seen, Scott seems like a pretty chill dude though.

Agreed, just like undertale or JOJO, I hate the game because of how annoyingly toxic the community surrounding it has been.

Game were nice for those i played but I guess there's also that I do feel like they were highly over rated.

  • I feel frustrated and gloomy for a few minutes.

If I messed up terribly and gave away that win, at myself for not reading the game better or doing dumb mistakes. If playing against a depip squad that simply left me no chance because of the vast gap in skill between them and I, at the game for trying to force me to play something like nurse or spirit with meta perk to be "competitive", which I don't since I like to play ghostface / legion / plague / Pyramid head the most and at the imbalance between killer strength.

Breakable walls and pallets are different sense both sides can interact with pallets meanwhile only killers can interact with breakable walls.

Also breakable walls have opportunity costs(Going out of your way to break a wall early costs you your early gen pressure opportunities) for killer to break them in addition to time costs(Remember 2-5 seconds can literally dictate who wins a game).

So having breakable walls that are strictly good for survivors with no true benefit to the killer shouldn't exist

That I agree on, I'm fine with a wall being good for killer if broken or not broken, not with them being good for survivor either way. But I don't think I ever seen one of those... Maybe the school one that gives access to strong loop area when open ?

  • Plague : You can now drink from clean fountain to activate "clean purge" your "healthy" puke doesn't infect but make thing slippery, increasing skill check difficulty and frequency, making vault over pallet or window fail, giving survivor a random skill check not to fall to the ground (injured state if they do?)

You cannot puke without "clean purge" being active. And corrupt purge is obviously not a thing anymore

Make the "healthy" puke look like water

  • Pyramid head : you lose the trail from the rite of judgment, but holding the sword in the ground now increase the width, lengths and speed of punishment of the damn. (width by 15% at max charge, lengths by 25% at max charge, speed would be to keep the same travel time from start to finish as the base kit ability)

  • Ghostface : you can no longer be taken out of stealth, stalking takes double even triple the time, and you now move at 105% instead of 115% downing a survivor triggers a 30sec CD unless you down someone in the next 30 sec. CD not reduced by other addons

(so you could use it with an increase stalk speed or movement speed while stalking addon?)

I disagree with per-thrown god pallet breakable walls being a good thing for the game.

Breakable walls being a killer ONLY mechanic should always be in favor of the killer as only the killer can interact with them

As it currently stands breakable walls only hinder the killer as they are forced to break them due to being too far in the survivors' favor to keep up(Costing time in the most time restricted role) or they should never be broken because breaking them would massively help the survivors.

As it currently stands breakable walls have been implemented with ALL OF THEM being strictly survivor sided and never killer sided which is backwards for a mechanic that is for killers only.

Well, if you look at the one on the death singer's map, you get both wall you can leave up to hinder svv or increase your mobility around the map, specially looking at the tavern or killer shack. Just like dropping a pallet at some spot can mean getting yourself in a terrible spot, breakable walls don't have to all be useful for the killer, it's a matter of knowing if it benefit you or the survivor.

I think that having some specific "killer only" or "survivor only" interaction that benefit the side who use it could be fun, but I don't think pallet and breakable door should be it.

Yeah, but the killer has to spend time kicking the wall. The breakable wall is massively in the favour of the survivors.

Which is a good thing, it's good for survivor until the wall is broken, then it's balanced or heavily good for killers. It force survivors to not stay on the same loop for too long, give the killer a chance at easier bloodlust, aka getting a hit/down.

I personally feel like breakable environment / gen that open doors is a great dynamic addition to the game and should still be a thing.

Balance should be looked out somewhere else than on those interactive aspect of the game.

  • Yup, I advised people on reddit to use legion, legion level one using only discordance, you'll still get 8k easy if you chase survivors.

I heard that nurse can give 4k a game too? I didn't try it herself as I had a legion daily to do, found out I was getting 8k and did the challenge in 3 games xD

  • If anything I don't feel that killer are enough of a threat

Most killers need to be buffed or reworked severely for them to be more fun to play against.

In it's current state, a team working on objective will almost always dominate any killer in the game.

Remember that the game is 4vs1 not 1vs1

  • No

Now to wait for the next time someone will ask the same weird question again

If i could refund skins i bought i would. 10 or more bucks for a friggen character skin is just a blatant cashgrab. If they would invest in making the dlc more expansive instead of just new characters and a map by lets say adding a new gamemode or something else to do they'd be better off but obviously people will continue to feed them money. If you want change make their sales numbers dip. The only thing the company cares about. Sales. Not their community.

I'll disagree, 10 quid a skin has been standard in the industry for over a decade.

You also get less interesting skin for lower than that.

In other words: Anyone who has bought the items before the sale started and is not refunded will lose a big chunk of trust in BHVR and that trust can never be regained by BHVR.

They now have to ask themelves: What is more valuable, the trust from the playerbase or the money they lose by refunding those players? (While Iridescent Shards are not the same as AurIc Cells there is still some kind of implicit loss because people can buy skins with the refunded Shards which they then naturally will not spend Auric Cells on.)

I fully agree, at this point it's a matter of momentary gain or long term client trust.

Although the money they are getting right now is certainly real and more tangible than a potential increase or decrease in future sale.

This is a video game and video community tend to have a high turn around in player base, hence making it likely that the long term impact be negligible at best.

Just like items can go on sale at any time, the EULA also says that pay-to-win items can be added at any time.

Should we expect a killer-killing flashlight to be added soon?

Can't wait for the Star Wars update when you can be a jedi / sith chasing the killer's.

So if you bought ice cream and on the next day you see it with big discount you also ask for the refund? I understand that unexpected sales sucks, but it's definitely not the reason to give you any refund. It's your choice to buy it or not. If you wanna stop playing because of it, it's your choice also.

When the sale was never planed or advertised in the first place huge difference, almost if not nobody at all, even amongst the most dedicated players, would buy something instantly for shards when they know they can get it for more than 50% less the next day.

If the sale WAS planned then they purposely scammed early buyers by not advertising it, no way around it.

  • If they don't have a log with your purchase date, I'd be surprised. Be it bought for actual real money or shards, dropping a sale on such a short to try to not lose face in front of the community is an exceptional circumstance, and some people may have spent 9k shards instead of 10 bucks if given the choice.

All in all they should have offered a full refund on the skin for people to chose what to do with the new price, that's the way I personally think it should have been approached with to show some respect for the player base and show some acknowledgement of their mistakes.

  • The change didn't touch the reason why people did use the hit or get hit strat for PoD, the problem is that the ability is so telegraphed you cannot hit anyone without basing it majorly on luck if they are not stuck in animation or taken by surprise.

An ability that can't be relied on unless some very specific parameters that have nothing to do with a player's own skill is at it's core badly balanced.

To me, this didn't buff or nerf him at all, the result are more or less the same, you will rarely hit unless the same parameters as before are met.

In all honesty tho, I still have as much fun playing pyramid head as I did before the changes!

You don't have to pay a monthly fee to play on stadia though. I'm not getting into the whole thing of if people can afford this or that as I don't know everyones situation. But I did want to clarify that stadia is completely free to use. Just need to purchase a game you want to play.

Then I guess it make more sense.

  • Like other said, if someone is struggling enough that buying new hardware isn't an option, only a small portion of people are at that fine line where adding another sub to their monthly payment wouldn't be crippling to them. Stadia for DBD is the convenience of crossplay and not needing to move your full hardware when you know you'll have access to a decent Internet connection where you go and your laptop with a gigabyte connection would be enough.

If you have the money, you better off getting your own decent hardware and not suffer the increase input lag at the cost of an extra monthly fee.
