Happeened to me on eyrie as huntress, so probably just a universal huntress bug regardless of any other factors.
I've since found this happened to another person recently. They were playing Myers and were in Tier 3. It must be some rare bug or issue which means whatever is checked to determine whether you are in chase seems to think one of the requirements is not met (and can never be)

Nah nothing. It's been years and this topic seems to have no interest. I gave up a long time ago.

I got mine on the first try, but I'm getting problems with "Bless You". I blessed two totems, still no progress.
Try verifying steam files?
You have to bless Hex totems.

Oh wow thats so cool! thanks for the reply, and can't wait to see what else is coming to the fog!
So fog whisperers can give away codes too? thats neat!
yes, as far as I am aware, fog whisperers usually got DLC codes for new DLC when they were released to do giveaways and such (don't quote me on that but I'm pretty sure that's a thing), the only problem is that this is only on steam. Now with an in-game code system, I assume this can now be spread to all platforms.

Very likely an issue on your end. Most likely it is your controller. Is it old or used? You might just need a new controller or need to push down harder on the trigger.

The disappearing crown is not a bug, it is intended, from what I understand, the crown will move about the map if it unclaimed for a certain amount of time
No it is a bug. The crown will seem to re-appear when you walk away from it again in the same place it was. Me and a friend both saw it in the same place appear and disappear about 5 times. (There were other crowns on the map). When you walked close to it it disappeared, when you walked away from it then it would re-appear.
-
This event has several confirmed bugs including: gateaus not stacking and offering 140% bonus instead of 104% bonus.
And other bugs that I have already experienced including: Crowns appearing when you are far away from them only to disappear when you get close to them (experienced on haddonfield several times in the same place)
Event items such as in the previous Halloween events, Lunar events, New year events and others have been much more commonplace in bloodwebs than these items are. Either the probabilities of them showing up are bugged (I hope) or they just want them to be really illusive, however I suspect it is the former of the two.

The surprise is probably that they're removing survivors option to do the generators, save people off hooks, heal, use perks, and walk because they're still to strong.
-
You all have a point. I think its situational enough that BW doesnt need changing, but it will be strong. I cant wait!
-
also @Slayer saying "just take a key" is stupid. You cant expect survivors to take a key into every round just to ensure that they can possibly escape in the event Bloodwarden triggers when the timer is to far gone for them to escape through the exit. The killer might not even have Bloodwarden, or you could die before it even gets to the endgame, also survivors dont have infinite keys so they can't just bring them into every single game. ๐คฆโโ๏ธ

The timer slows when someone is hooked or in dying state.
So the 60 seconds of BW wouldn't guarantee that all of them would die.
But if the timer was still far enough done, BW could still ensure that anyone who hasnt left will die. (say the timer was at 45 seconds and someone gets hooked (then unhooked quickly)

It took me ages to get Adept Plague, and i can confirm that you have to double pip to get the achievement (At rank 4 where I was at when trying to get the achievement this took so much work ;-;)
I think since the new changes to the pip system making it extremely hard for killers to double pip especially at low ranks, they need to change how adept achievement works, because I'm sorry but as someone said earlier, some killers teachable alone are not viable to help you, such as corrupt intervention in the plagues set, as the perk becomes useless 2 minutes (or less) into the game. With Hag, you have strong perks but if the totems are all broken quickly then you are playing perkless. double pipping at low ranks especially whilst perkless is extremely tricky.
-
Also I dont think NOED is bs @Taelance . Its definitely a very strong perk and yes it sucks ass when you get downed with it any yes I can get salty over it but hey, its not like survivors dont have crutch perks like it to.

Here's a better question...why the hell are survivors staying in the match for 2 of 3 minutes when blood warden only blocks for 1? , I swear these false arguments survivors are posting in mass about NOED and BLOOD WARDEN are amazing on how stretched they have to get for one..
Boi im a 50/50 survivor killer player. maybe even a bit more on the killer side. I got no quarrels with Bloodwarden or NOED, I simply want to show what I think and see what others opinions are. I agree survivors shouldnt be staying in the match for 2 of 3 minutes and if you read properly you would see that I did say that a reason they may not change it is for the "brutal (but possibly needed) reminder" that they SHOULDNT be staying in a match after opening exits anyway.
-
thats a good idea, but idk if they may think of something else or once again, they might not change it at all ๐ค

I'm not sure I've seen any sort of crosshair on huntress being adressed. I know some people have (in the past) drawn a line on their computer screen with something erasable or stuck something on their screen as crosshairs. Im sure others have used software to implement a crosshair. I don't know if devs have ever said anything about this but the reason theres not much they can do is because how are they supposed to know someone is using a crosshair? If I draw a pen line on my computer screen there is no way anyone would know unless I started telling people, therefore it would be hard to ban someone from the game for that. Also, for anyone playing her who has already player her before should know about where the hatchet would go without the need of a crosshair anyway, and so probably almost nobody uses one, and if they did there wouldnt be much difference anyway imo.
I, as a person who frequently plays huntress but also plays against her think that her hitbox is slightly to strong, but most of it seems to be down to latency in the match. If you wait until dedicated servers roll out the hitbox issue on her hatchets may be fixed.
-
This happens a lot but not always. Sometimes people are actually nice to me in endgame chat if I let them farm, or even when killers are nice to me. The other day a nurse mori'd all 4 of us, but we had a great and friendly conversation about the game in the endgame chat, and just yesterday a trapper let me get the hatch and once again we were very nice. I think toxic and rude behaviour is on both sides, but if people are being rude or toxic then just leave and get over it, because it will always happen in some cases.

Pulling a Blood Warden stunt of that kind sounds kinda hard. I am personally more interested on Remember Me. Considering how it currently lengthens opening gates to almost a whole minute with max stacks, I predict it will drastically change. Add to this either a high mobility Killer or defence type one (like Trapper), and you are pretty much guaranteed kills.
I dont think remember me needs to change, as im pretty sure the endgame timer only starts after the exit is open unless the hatch has been closed.

@MegsAreEvil Thats just not true, it is entirely possible to lose a killer who is "halfway reasonable" or more. It may be hard but its possible, use the surroundings to your advantage to gain distance etc. for you to say that survs can only lose the killer if they're dumb, then you must be pretty bad ๐คทโโ๏ธ.
But, as several people have pointed out already, to "win" a chase per say, you have to lose the killer (which is possible no matter their skill level or intelligence). Chasing a killer round loops etc. for 5 gens means you haven't done that, and therefore you haven't earned your pip. Simple.
This is a stupid post to begin with though, as the killer wouldn't have gained a pip either and any killer who isnt "dumb" would know that chasing one survivor the whole match is a bad idea, so it should be possible to lose this killer, even by @MegsAreEvil 's logic.

yaaay! ๐

Im my opinion, as a 50/50 survivor killer player, I think that there are good and bad aspects to the proposed changes to legion. As a survivor, playing against him should be in theory much easier, however as a killer, it seems hes just been nerfed a whole bunch. I for one dont think I'll be playing him at all after the changes are implemented, but you cant say for sure until it comes out, because maybe it'll work really well?!
-
I usually dont have a save problem when playing solo survivor, but It does happen at times. Sometimes I see all three survivors on the same or different gens at the other side of the map, and will usually be able to tell that nobody is coming for me until im in struggle. Occasionally I do get the absolute idiot who will sit on a gen literally 5 seconds away from me instead of coming to save me and then come when I am in struggle or come expecting to reach me for a last second save and then I end up dying. Theres not much you can do about it really, so I just get over it quick.
