Nostromo terrible? Man, you need to learn how to loop because there are so many useful pallets… + the ice traps. It's really more survivor sided than it is killer sided.

I have no clue what world you live in if you think that's a survivor sided map. If it was so survivor sided…then why does everyone run to main for that one pallet that is moderately decent? There no sense of safety anywhere on that maps except for the occasional long wall. I'd be more inclined to believe you if the game would just give good rng and show me how strong the map is.

  • Regardless, they brought a luck offering and probably because 80% of the time the game is sending you to trash maps. I want to die too whenever they give me that map or 75% of the other ones. However, they may of tried to kobe and thought they had to commit after trying once or twice. Now if they gave up and just let you smack them down, then yeah, they might be being a bit over the edge.

  • They should've just retired the offerings like you said. They did that with other offerings before and honestly, they're a waste of bloodpoints.

  • I can't tell you the amount of people who just hate map design. And I honestly am just sick of other players acting like you're not allowed to say anything about it.

  • My best bet is it probably had something to do with two things.

    1. You're playing a killer that quite frankly is a low budget huntress and is quite frankly nothing special to go against.
    2. The map that that player went next on is absolutely TERRIBLE. It's dead zone galore and the lamest loops as most new maps are starting to have. That's just my thoughts though.
  • Probably because they have terrible servers that can't handle the sudden number of players on. That's my guess as they are known for being a terrible company.

  • I find posts like this hilarious.

  • Saying "auto-win" about WoO/Deja Vu is legitimately hilarious. I wish everyone would just realize it's a company that struck gold and they know it. Which is why they don't care about your frustrations. They may say they care and a few may, but it'll NEVER and I mean NEVER get better. 2016-2019 dbd is gone. They'll never have this game in a healthy state, the community will never be at peace. We're all the product.

I do believe they said something about Sleepy Joe being the next killer.

Yeah there's only 1 Badham map now. Also, are you playing killer or survivor? Only asking because I've been playing alot of Myers lately and am often getting Lerys or Midwich lol I'm curious as to whether they've increased the odds of certain maps for certain killers in the lead up to map offering nerfs or if it's just a coincidence..

Definitely not a coincidence. This game is notorious for hidden buffs in my experience, there's too many "coincidences" for it to be luck. I have seen stealth killers getting indoor maps recently! I haven't been to hands on with killer lately due to anxiety of playing it.

Edit: Do you know why they removed Badham 2-5?

A Nemesis must tunnel, just like a Bubba must facecamp and a Nurse must bleed everyone out. It's their thing. It's who they are, it's what they do. Don't question it.

So people aren't allowed to be frustrated? They're just not supposed to question it?

While I agree it isnt that big a deal ONE good perk can mess up the whole balance of the game, look at MfT, og OoO, eruption, old DS, MoM, current shoulder the burden.

I actually agree with you, but you should never use those perks as an example when talking about a perk that has never been at that level of oppression at launch. Minus STB. Botany is and never will be a cataclysmic problem like any of those were.

If they did a killer repetition prevention mechanism, survivor queues would be 4 hours long whenever a new DLC came out, especially when FNaF comes out.

I think that's a fair thing to say. Maybe you can't use the mechanic for the first week or something? Or just not be able to use on certain killers after work has been done to them.

And now even survivors hate keys! Just kidding. I have already watched a lot of frustrating survivor content where someone loops a killer for a few minutes and no gens get done. It is just unbelievable.

I actually do hate keys as survivor. A lot of killers immediately know it will probably be a sweaty game so they'll play sweaty too. I play casually now after 2k hours, but still seeing stuff like that go on does slightly tilt me still.

Wow. That’s disappointing to hear red ranks behaving that way. How did the game end?

I ended up getting hooked near the shack, then Zarina and Elodie both went down in the basement. Hatch wasn't even near shack...

  • @KerJuice said:

Curious- what level are you, and what level were they?

Devotion 8, Rank 1, they were rank 2...

  • Counterforce, Inner Strength, Quick and Quiet and either Head On or Small Game and you have a build that kills every totem in the game in about a minute and a half to 2 minute timeframe.

Counterforce is one of my favorite perks right now and it gets stronger the more you cleanse totems. I have not been hit with No One Escapes Death ONCE in two weeks or whenever this chapter dropped. Literally not once.

It brought infinites back in several main structures in several of the maps.

Bloodlust 1 is needed to counter holding w and to prevent infinites from happening. With bloodlust 2 and 3, if the killer lands a hit because of that, you did your job as survivor by keeping them busy for 30+ seconds before they land a hit. If you get downed twice because of bloodlust 3 for example, that is 90 seconds, easily enough time for the rest of your team to finish 3 gens.

Survivors have 4 people, they should always eventually lose the 1v1 and that is what bloodlust serves to do.

I like this whole response by the way.

  • Oh I guess I forgot about that.

Oh really? Which ones in particular? We're any of them reworked recently?

I didn't play during that weekend I wish they did more weekend experiments like that

Yeah that would be nice so we can get (IMO) a better look at maps. Killer sided ones might start to lean more towards a 50/50 evenly balanced without bloodlust. It'll also show where the faults lie in certain maps.

I just want the overheat thing reversed. I'm not even interested in playing him, I barely did before, I just want to go against him again. I legit see him less than twins and hag. And uhh I would rather see him than twins or hag

I never see him anymore either. Wish I did.

  • @SpaghettiYOLO said:

Honestly, with the amount of players that just sit and rev the chainsaw constantly while chasing you shows the overheat feature isn't doing what it's supposed to do. Very rare for a Billy or Bubba to M1. Just one instant down after instant down after chasing you.

For both Billy and Bubba, they should have to refill their chainsaws for gas after so much use. Introduce some tactics to it. And this is coming from a killer main. Because as it is, especially with Billy, the matches just devolve into instant down after instant down and overheating never does anything. At least with Bubba, he has to have charges, but still. Both of them refilling for fuel at lockers while keeping the overheating and charges on their saws will help with the much overuse of revving that overheating and charges were supposed to help with.

Honestly, I don't know how people are still complaining for a buff when the exact same thing as before is still happening. Like seriously, so you can't rev your chainsaw infinitely anymore. That's good. You shouldn't be able to.

It's not about revving infinitely at all. It's about fun.

  • That's what i'm saying, BHVR ain't hurting for money at all.

Blight needs 2 hits, Oni is starting weak. Billy was so good before nerf. Map mobility, one-hit...

    With his addons he was.

  • @Phasmamain said:

Hillbilly is about as important to the devs as console optimisation

It really feels like it sometimes. I just wanna enjoy the killer again, I don't even care for the addons being looked at, I just wanna have fun again.

  • @Northener1907 said:

If they do this, people will not buy Oni or Blight. Money talks.

Yes people would still buy those killers. They wouldn't just immediately drop them for Billy.

  • @Purple_Orc

It's not just for PS4, even on PC the nurse will 99% of the time not attack if you pressed the swing button too early. However, that 1% sometimes she just won't swing because...reasons I guess.

  • Hey there, ex nurse main.

I never put Nurse truly down until her recent nerfs, even when I did start on PS4 and despite having to deal with that atrocious FPS and bullying, I always loved her, she was MY killer. I did eventually move over to PC like five months ago where I truly saw how good she was. I mainly stopped playing her because she had a bad rep with the community and the DC's I got with her were obnoxious. That was also before the nerfs, and I completely agreed with most when they said her add ons needed to go. However, this "rework" or whatever the heck you wanna call it, pretty much made me not wanna play her ever again. And before someone says "Oh, you must've been an omega blink nurse player" I wasn't. I ALMOST always played with no add ons because I knew how ridiculous she was with them. The MAIN reason I don't enjoy playing nurse anymore is because of the base power recharge thing they did. I loved and I mean LOVED how aggressive the nurse could be and how sometimes if you were too aggressive, it wouldn't work in your favor if you weren't playing optimal. However, now it feels like you can't make one mistake and must always be on the top of your game. The only way I can somewhat feel the old nurse again, is if I use both of her recharge speed add ons. Which, even with those sometimes, I still don't feel like I can truly bring that same "fire" I guess you could say I used to have, to the match.

Pretty much, there's only like 4 add ons that are actually good, the rest they kinda just turned into jokes. They made her base power recharge a little too long imo and because of that survivors can make SO much more distance then they used to be able to, which means you'll be playing catch up more often. She has so many bugs right now too and to be quite honest, that makes her much more stressful to play.

So at the end of the day.

I can agree, but more so disagree with her still being the strongest killer. Yes, if you are absolutely on FIRE one day as killer and making all the right reads, you'll have no problems 4k'ing with nurse(or any killer for that matter). However, if you don't enjoy sweating your balls off every match(which at the state the game's in, requires you too) and just wanna have a good time, you will most likely only be seeing 0k's or 2k's at most since nurse requires so much concentration with very little room for error. Also, why play nurse when killers like spirit or freddy exist and require less than 3 times the effort for success? Lastly, what I say doesn't have to taken as a fact, but rather this is my experience from playing and going against the nurse before and after her changes. I escape way more now against nurse then I actually lose. Players don't have to believe me and can disagree, but they absolutely destroyed what made the nurse, the nurse.

    Sincerely,

    A Retired Nurse.
