I want to start this off positive. The new patches are good. Its going to feel great to not get denied a kill because of E. The new endurance perks are promoting team-play without being over bearing. Niche perks have gotten overhauls. It's all really nice to see. But we still have a long way to go until the game is in a legitimate good state. It is a step in the right direction. But even if we m2 comments 151 views last activity

It sucks, but is kind of a cool idea. Standing still to break a wall during frenzy is a terrible idea, which is the main issue with the add-on. So I think having Franks mix-tape break pallets at a slightly faster speed than normal during frenzy would make it more interesting. Still not great, but interesting. It'd be like a budget iri pin and fit Frank's destructive and aggressive personality. O1 comments 31 views last activity

I'm not talking about legendarys. Not that I have a problem with other SH characters coming in. But I'd like to see more stuff for Cheryl since she's my favorite protagonist. Pyramid Head got a blight skin. While that was probably a really slim chance of even happening in the first place, having something like that for her would be nice. Maybe for next halloween we can get the dark version of he12 comments 321 views last activity

Us, as the player, take on the role of survivors and killers. But would the Entity know? Is the entire game just a connection to the Entity and it just uses us as a tool to sustain itself much like the survivors and killers? I feel to some degree it would be aware. An eldritch being after-all is usually powerful enough to see through different dimensions. Are we actually just living inside o6 comments 331 views last activity

So when this first started I made a post about trying to keep the event chill for everyone and just try to share good vibes. So much for that. My killer matches end under 6 minutes without 4 slowdowns, and survivor matches are facing 4 slowdowns on blight and nurse. There is literally no winning. If I try to let survivors have a chill match they end it before I can even get BP, basically wasti35 comments 791 views last activity

Many players are coming back for this. And the last thing they want to see is hyper sweat. I've been running stealth builds on killers and doing some of the community challenges. Playing but never killing anyone. And many people have been thankful for this. I don't dare to play any survivor during this event because I know these events bring out those types. I've already been told by a few people24 comments 331 views last activity

His anti-loop really makes no sense. You charge the shock, hit them, they're paralysed for 2.5 seconds but then you also slow down enough that you can't really make it to them in time. I've tried multiple strategies to make the shocks work. I've tried to not spam shock and time it right. Doesn't really work. Spam shocks just slow you down and do nothing. These were all on pretty standard loops I33 comments 1,251 views last activity

Very simple. She's a 110 killer, and can only teleport through pallets and windows. She still has good anti-loop and mobility. Especially now with a movement speed buff. She can still zone and make tons of distance on someone during chase. I'd also like to clarify, you would more than likely be able to angle your blinks from pallets and windows. Having it just be a straight blink would be dumb.30 comments 343 views last activity

Obviously many of the licensed survivors would be able to handle themselves. But most of the original survivors are just random dudes who probably don't have much experience handling these situations. So which one, based off lore, do you think could handle the realm the best?6 comments 91 views last activity

It's no secret that Deathslinger is UTTERLY USELESS now after the nerf. So I think we should give him his snapshot back. People say it had no counterplay, but it did. As long as I messed up the shot and sucked at Deathslinger in general it was balanced and counterable. Survivor mains are just so entitled these days... I also think he should get a horse. It moves at 8.7 meters per second, and Ca36 comments 391 views last activity

I played 2 games and had to quit. First was with Legion on RPD. Nothing really terrible, I was only trying to do my daily but it did feel like my power was useless because of how limited the traversal is on that map. It was just a snooze fest where nothing interesting or fun happened. RPD loops are either safe or death and really uneventful in general. The second, was way worse. I've always wondered how it would feel to have your matches posted by someone. What was it like when you saw it? Were you a survivor or killer, and how did the match turn out/feel to play?56 comments 741 views last activity

Simple buff: let Sadako attack out of stealth. She already has a lullaby and isn't entirely invisible, so it won't really be hard to tell where she is. Adding a small movement speed buff for a second or two when manifesting would help. Giving a choice on whether you'll try to confuse the survivor or go for a tight lunge. This is only a work around off the top of my head so manifesting still has a18 comments 582 views last activity

I say this because many survivors are still used to their power not being lethal. So there's many situations where they'll just take the hit and not even try to stop you, resulting in free downs. You have to respect their power now, and many survivors are going to learn that the hard way or never learn at all.0 comments 41 views last activity

It's no secret that a lot of them are cheeks. But, with the hemorrage rework, there's potential to make his purples less terrible. The add-on in specific is his Crimson Ceremony Book, which inflicts hemorrage until torment ends . This would be great. A few would have to be reworked, such as the Scarlet Egg, which makes the duration of killer instinct longer. I love him, but one thing I've alway0 comments 31 views last activity

I've played 3 matches today and 2 of them I've ended up having to dc because I get stuck in place doing an action, and the third one my power stopped being usable (deathslinger) then the game crashed at the end of the match. I'm curious if god hates me today or if there's others experiencing this.0 comments 31 views last activity

I don't think I need to tell most of you that they're bad. I just don't understand why they exist? Like there was an effort to fix all the god loops, which was really nice. I can't even describe how good those few months felt to play without the walls. But then they add breakables to the windows. They add nothing at all to the gameplay except for making it tedious. Don't get me wrong, there are some shitters who do it because they're dog water or titled over a party game. But from personal experience, playing both survivor and killer, teammates are the true killers. I think the most common situation is the killer is roaming, there's an unhook, they go back to check it out and the ONLY person they see is the dude who just got off booking it. Meanwhile the r8 comments 161 views last activity

An activation requirement. Something like a safe unhook to activate it. This means it's still practical, but can't completely shift the game at any point. Early game pressure won't be robbed by someone having Unbreakable, or any of those types of scenarios. This keeps it's ability to help survivors out of sticky situations, while also encouraging them to be proactive through-out the match. Real21 comments 211 views last activity

It's pretty simple. I don't like that, at any period or for any slight the killer has against me, I can be denied playing the game. Hell, you don't even have to be who they're pissed at. Do you know how many killer streamers will face-camp for like 3 matches straight solely because they lost ONE match? Save your teammate? Toxic. Body-block so they don't die? Toxic. Loop for too long? Toxic.1 comments 71 views last activity

The idea I have is pretty simple, but the way I word it may be confusing, so if you have any questions don't be afraid to ask. Tier 1: behaves as normal. hitting a survivor will infect them then open them up for injury. Tier 2: hitting a healthy uninfected survivor will injure and infect them. hitting an uninfected injured survivor will give only infect before damaging them again. Normally, I don't get too tilted at DBD. But today has been miserable. All matches were over in less than 10 minutes. Everyone had DH. At least one COH. At least two beefy medkit/toolboxes. And, of course, some big map was in play to make mobility a pain. I played Deathslinger, Nemesis, and Plague. All pretty decent killers. Normally I don't run many regression perks or none at all. Just list them down below. The more obscure the better! Sal Fisher/Ashley Campbell from Sally Face. Dean/Sam Winchester from Supernatural. Folk Lore inspired killer/chapter. Bloodborne chapter, probably Father Gascoigne. A survivor that isn't taken from the modern world. Possibly an anime chapter? No clue what it would be. Still interesting. There are two things that annoy me a lot in this game: RPD and a boring match. To clarify what I mean by boring, I mean a match with little to no interaction. i.e face-camping bubba, afk wraith, survivors who hide waiting for hatch for an ungodly amount of time. Those sorts of things. Not "oh no I'm losing this is so boring and the game is broken!" But this whole comp drop mentality is extremely20 comments 451 views last activity

I started playing her for the first time in months today and she feels really fun to play. Before the rework I always felt ######### whenever I played her because of how one sided she was. Now it feels like there's actual gameplay and skill involved. That's a good thing. Most other killers don't feel like that. She's strong enough to have impact during a chase but she also doesn't hold your hand0 comments 51 views last activity

Tricksters power is only problematic because of how many knives he has. As it currently is there is no realistic way to survive a chase with him. He has to hit you like 6 times for an injure I think? And he has 44 knives. So you have to dodge at least 33 rapid fire projectile blades. Surviving against Trickster is literally just hoping you can make a high wall loop with decent enough length to re40 comments 1,091 views last activity

If you don't know what power creep is: it's essentially the idea that as the game evolves older characters/features become outdated and cannot keep up with the current state of the game. This effects many of the killers in DBD. It's the reason why so many of them are frustrating to play. I saw someone once say something along the lines of "good killers can make a prediction and make a play, whi29 comments 1,101 views last activity

I see many people toss around "Blight is one of the most balanced killers we have" when discussing any changes to him. That is not true at all. He has the best mobility in the game by far. Very little charge time, quick regeneration and fast movement speed. His mobility can be enhanced through many add-ons. Alch ring lets you catch up to a survivor almost immediately after hitting them. The blig27 comments 361 views last activity

It is an event so people are definitely going to make it as painful as possible for each other. BUT, the event in practice isn't too horrible. The problem with many of the old events is that it either lead to farming or griefing. And while this one isn't exciting (they often aren't) it managed to solve that issue. Everyone gets rewarded and its a positive interaction for both sides. So good job b0 comments 41 views last activity

I will only be talking about cosmetics, as I think the shard price for characters is pretty decent. Could be lower but it's not awful. The shrine sucks as buying the character and levelling them is much easier and realistic for getting the perk you want. Those are my thoughts on those two features. Shards are meant to unlock things for free, but you can barely buy anything with them realisti1 comments 51 views last activity

I'm worried that they'll just get either number tweaks or a total rework. Number tweaks wouldn't fix their biggest problem, which is having an underwhelming power that offers no chasing potential. But on the other hand I want to be able to run fast and smack people. My biggest fear for a rework is that they'll do another Freddy. Before you lynch me, hear me out. I've been playing Billy for a while now, trying to get better with him, and the overheat mechanic rarely comes into play. I play with no add-ons as well, so I am talking solely about the base overheat. All that it does is punish you for spamming your saw. I have played the game for 4 years now. And even when I think "aghh this game sucks!" I still come back to it. I think a lot of veteran players have experienced this in a way. Usually the solution is to take a break. And it works after so long. I have come back from my break and I realized something. The reason why I didn't enjoy DBD anymore was because I took it too seriously. I have played a co34 comments 1,111 views last activity

Her entire kit is dedicated to just zoning people out of loops. All she has to do is put a crow around one side of the loop and it's unusable. Usually with other trap killers this isn't a problem since you can usually have enough time to get somewhere else while they're placing a trap. But that's not what Artist is made for. Artist can place down crows really fast and you usually just have to tan22 comments 401 views last activity

Many people here cannot accept that they're just not as good as they think they are. It shocks me how nobody ever loses to their own mistakes, but because the other side is just "op". Overpowered has no significance in the context of dbd anymore because everybody and their grandma will scream it whenever something doesn't go their way. And I'm talking to all of you. It's because a majority of solo survivors are terrible at the game. And those terrible survivors are usually carried by one person on the team who knows how to actually play survivor appropriately. It's not because they're toxic or want to bully killers all day. It's because they don't want to run the killer for 5 minutes and watch as only 2 gens get done. So the natural solution is to play with36 comments 811 views last activity

It's a very simple change that would make them work more dynamically during chase. Currently they're very gimmicky and only hamper the flow of the match. For killers you have to basically break a bunch of pre-dropped pallets. And for survivor you have loops that aren't safe anymore because the killer got there first. There's really no interaction with breakables outside of having an indefinite go5 comments 71 views last activity

I've played this game for 3 years and I think I've truly exhausted myself. This isn't a post of me being pissy after losing a game, screaming "IM QUITTING!". It's about the lack of genuine content that we get. The game has played the same for ages. Everybody uses the same perks (killer and survivor, no exceptions) and the newer mechanics aren't really interesting. Boons aren't very interactive, a8 comments 141 views last activity

They give you distance for very little investment. But they're also the most fun of the survivor perks to use. You really can't balance them without gutting the perks, yet if the game wants to achieve good balance it's necessary. And I'm not saying this as "argghhh those damn survivor mains and their perks!" because there are many unbalanced killer perks as well. They come off really wrong. It's hard to tell if who makes them thinks that it's the only way to write a compelling story for a female character or if they have some sort of fetish. Spirit, Artist, Plague and Hag's whole stories just revolve around them being helpless and tortured. Then they become a killer because uhhhhh....? I get that the entity feeds off of tragedy.
