When you are sacrificed, you respawn in another part of the map. Simple as that. The unhooking action is slowly being dissolved anyway by basekit BT and removing hook grabs. What’s the point of rescues anymore especially when you are spading/castrating the killer from securing its kill? It is blatantly apparent now in year 7 that the killer is not allowed/permitted to have fun and prevent hooke3 comments 141 views last activity

Once activated, it creates a doppelgänger of you that lasts for X seconds or until hit by the killer. If activated near a gen it will pretend it’s repairing. If activated during chase it will run away so you can use it as a decoy.8 comments 201 views last activity

Just imagine: spider crawling along at normal Bubba m1 speed but low like crouched Pig. It has a menacing look. Maybe head of a human. Green poison drips from its fangs. Powers? Maybe spits venom. Maybe shoots webs as a slow down. Who knows that’s not too important. Maybe it can cocoon survivors. The survivors have to break open the cocoon to rescue (obviously it should be quick like an unhoo1 comments 21 views last activity

Until Trapper, Hag, Pig, etc., are reworked, for the interim why not give those killers a flat BP % every time for playing them? I hate playing Pig, but I’d def play if I came away with like 50% more total BP every match.1 comments 21 views last activity

The Killer loads into some kind of limbo area. Killer player never sees who the other players loading in are. Maybe the killer sees a fog-shaped outline of each person, but that’s all. The other players also don’t see each other. Each person is in their own limbo area. You already feel alone. You can also no longer start the trial with anyone else, even as friends. Enjoy! 😂0 comments 11 views last activity

Just throwing out another idea to the Devs: Since survivors can crawl when downed, why not allow them to go Prone at any time? The point of this would be to hide in places where it’s not easy to hide, like behind small walls, or as Ash says, become a “snake in the grass”. You wouldn’t be able to crawl fast or anything, so it’s not meant to give an advantage other than hiding better.1 comments 21 views last activity

We’ve all been there: for whatever reason, we manage to avoid the killer, do gens/heals/unhooks, but never get hooked ourselves. Then at the very end, when everyone else is dead, you finally get hooked for the first time but it goes straight to death hook. I feel like you should still have the ability to try to unhook yourself. Or if you have Deliverance, you can use it then.2 comments 41 views last activity

The game is almost 7 years old. At some point I would think the game gets sundowned. I’d love to see a new and improved DBD 2 with better graphics, details, etc m. Do you think it’ll ever happen or will we always have this version until it just dies?24 comments 771 views last activity

A killer, perhaps a hunter that has dogs, that has/have the ability to track survivors based on their movements. I know Gunslinger exists, but I’m using a hunter with dogs as an example, and to also implement the ability for AI to track survivors. Since survivors generate scratch marks, part of this killer’s power is the ability to track survivors locations based on scratch marks WHEREVER the s6 comments 51 views last activity

They are practically conjoined twins. Also, they start the trial together. So any perks that affect Charlotte, should affect Victor, since they are “one” when the trial starts. Im not trying to make them more powerful, but since they do need a rework, I think this is a plausible idea. :)1 comments 21 views last activity

MHGA! Make Hag Great Again! First, the Hag’s speed should be brought up to typical Trapper / Artist / M1 killer speed. Second, with the new speed the Hag can now place traps anywhere, just as before. However, because of her new speed which can make her more deadly, her traps can now be seen more easily, kind of like how you can see Artist’s crows. Maybe Hag’s traps have a glow to them only whe0 comments 22 views last activity

First: Trapper should start with all traps in his possession, including any additional ones added via addons. Maybe the trapper gets a sack on his back! That’d be cool. Second, and most important, this is the game changer: Trapper should be able to set traps on-the-go while walking, but slows down while doing so, like how Gunslinger slows down while reloading. Same principle. The trapper then0 comments 2 views last activity

Let’s say I want to play a different survivor/killer for a change, but I don’t really want to invest the blood points in leveling them up that much beyond enough to unlock certain perks. But the party streamers, survivor soup offerings, medkits, etc are all under my main. Why not have all Bloodweb items available as a general pool? So instead of items being locked or gated to each character, th1 comments 62 views last activity

Okay Behaviour, here’s my compromise: DC ban system is allowed to stay and anyone who DC’s depips. I honestly don’t like the DC ban system because of reasons (for instance: if 2 other survivors DC at 5 gens, and I’m a remaining survivor , what am I supposed to do at that point? Play to die ) But please get rid of depipping when I’m active in the game as a survivor or killer. 0 pip should be the2 comments 91 views last activity

Title. Don’t say “you 3 genned yourself” because that’s not always the case. Sometimes you have no choice. Im not saying killer doesn’t deserve a chance or to win. But survivors can’t do ANYTHING against 3 gen especially against certain killers. Create some kind of 3 gen busting perk. OR prevent gens from spawning together like this. It’s not fair. It’s not fun. Simple as that. There’s noth12 comments 232 views last activity

Behaviour, I love your game. It’s a frustrating hot mess a lot of times. This is NOT a well balanced nor well oiled machine. It’s time to step up and either get rid of your DC penalty system, OR the depip system. Im an adult who is tired of getting into games for fun and to try to pip up, playing the game as best as I can, but your game has all kinds of issues from other players not playing an8 comments 261 views last activity

Games mostly go like this: the survivors get lopsided win and killer gets 3-4 hooks TOTAL, or killer gets lopsided win with 3-4K (10-12 hooks total), and there is rarely much of an in-between. Which means the game is still not balanced well, for various reasons (big maps, bad RNG, low mobility killers, trash killer add ons, trash offerings (mist? Really?), gutted perks etc). Maybe one size doesn’t fit all, after all, and each perk should have its effects scale based on the killer using it. Lower tier / mobility killers would have an increased effect on certain perks, while higher tier killers like Nurse would have a lower effect. In other words, each perk gets coded to say “if killer = nurse or blight then the perk’s [seconds/percentage/etc] is lower”. Example:5 comments 81 views last activity

It’s 2023. There are almost 100 killer perks (same for survivors). I believe it’s time for killers get 1-2 more perk slots. Survivor teams now have 17 perks which includes basekit BT. Lightborn has become almost a staple with the amount of ways survivors can blind now: flashlights, flashbang (perk), the other gen blinding perk (landmine), as well as firecrackers. So that’s basically 1 mandator6 comments 121 views last activity

Dear BHVR, I quit your game 2 years ago because playing Killer was too stressful and I was too emotionally invested. Came back in December, and the Killer experience is slightly improved, and haven’t stopped since. Every month I play survivor for 2 weeks and get Iri 1 EASILY. Getting Killer to Iri 1? Doable, but not as easy. I’m talking playing NOTHING but Twins for 2 weeks straight. HOWEVER,19 comments 291 views last activity

Basically the idea is that you give up a hook state to give another survivor 1 less hook state. In other words: help a tunneled survivor, or anyone that’s already hooked twice by giving up a hook state yourself, ie sacrificial lamb. So when you are on the hook. You press a button to activate this perk, then somehow you have to choose who gets 1 hook deleted . I like the idea in theory, might be1 comments 81 views last activity

Okay Behavior, I think we have enough “normal” skins. Can we get a lil crazy and make some cool, gritty skins? Post-apocalyptic style. Survivors with goggles , hooded outfits, backpacks, etc. Tribal style skins. Think Native American or the female character from Horizon Zero Dawn game. Undead skins. Meg or whomever with rotting faces and arms /legs. Thanks!!0 comments 11 views last activity

I don’t get how hard this has been to balance for years. Theres a game called Project Zomboid where you are forced to equip negative effect perks along with positive effect perks so you can’t just have all positive effects. I like that. So, If SWF team, then each SWF player gets some kind of general debuff. If 2-3 SWF and 1-2 solo the SWF still gets a debuff and the solo MAYBE a buff, or not.10 comments 151 views last activity

Will new DH still give survivors multiple health states with BT basekit and Off the Record? Survivors gets hooked, I take a swing they get protected by BT or OTR, will DH still work and give them another health state? I believe the Pip system for survivors needs a rework for various reasons. DEPIPPING (basically being penalized): This should ONLY occur if a player DC’s, goes AFK, dies on first hook, or does minimal interactions (ie. mostly hiding, never rescuing, etc) Depipping should NEVER happen if a survivor is actively involved in chases, healing, rescuing, gen repair, ie. playing the game! Is this just a temporary meta shakeup with the gen regression & healing nerf, (with some shadow buffs to some killers) and in 6 months or next year it will be something else. or … do you think BHVR has long term plans and this mid-chapter update is just the beginning of something hopefully bigger and better? Let him prime a trap in his hands, then simply drop it. Get rid of the stop drop and set action altogether. Or.. this could be a 2nd way to use his power. Maybe stopping to place and set a trap creates more powerful traps , but setting and dropping on the go creates a weaker variation. ORRRR… he can throw a primed trap at you. I mean why not? Just spitballing here.1 comments 51 views last activity

Circle of Healing almost every game. Then the DH nonsense. Then BT basekit (god forbid you hook a survivor near an opened exit gate). And on top of all to that the new survivor HUD (sure, it doesn’t make soloq godlike, but it takes all the mystery out of the game , ie. “who is being chased?” , “where is the killer?”, etc) Meanwhile… us killers who are not Nurse or Blight not only have to fight a4 comments 171 views last activity

I still don’t get why killers need a perk for this. Why can’t killers just raise their other, non-knife wielding arm or hand over their eyes and just suffer with a movement penalty? There are spare buttons on consoles not assigned to actions I’m pretty sure (like square or triangle on PS) and plenty of available keys on PC. Just a thought!27 comments 521 views last activity

If I ran the company I’d find 1 person, pull them aside and say: “ this is your new job: fix all of our underperforming killers so that they are all viable, fun to play, yet not too annoying or OP.” Tired of this BS.35 comments 1,211 views last activity

I love playing Twins. I love the challenge (knowing they are not a top tier killer) as much as their art and running around sniping as Victor. But what I hate is, obviously, the distance Charlotte has to walk to get to the downed survivor. I use Charlotte to hit first because Victor’s aura is still bugged when he’s attached to a survivor (you can’t see him). I know you could say “park Charlotte24 comments 1,123 views last activity

After a couple year break I started playing again in December and for the first time ever I reached red rank 1 as survivor. (I know ranks don’t mean much except for BP’s) This month it seems harder. Did something change? Meanwhile I hit red rank 1 as killer. And I’m not the greatest survivor or killer either. Is it just me experiencing this?6 comments 151 views last activity

As a killer, there’s no fun in killing everyone, or at least 2, when there are still 2-3 gens left. And I only play Dredge, Bubba, Twins.. I play survivor too and I know those games are no fun. When 2 ppl die and you still have 2-3 gens left, “it’s game over man!” I know it’s weird to complain about winning as a killer. The maps and addons get, and are, so stale. It would be great if there were offerings that like… spitballing here… changed a map to snow or rain.. or … funky atmospheric lighting… or added scarecrows… something besides how bland the maps currently are. Why not give killers and survivors the ability to give up and concede the match, and being able to leave without a DC penalty? How many games have killers had where they do poorly and don’t get many hooks and 0k yet have to wait for survivors to finish tea bagging or waiting in the exit gates? There are like 100 perks now on both sides. 9-10 pages of perks last I looked. We spend how much time and money grinding through the bloodweb to turn every perk purple. Yet… we can only slot 4. I think 1-2 more slots is feasible, yes? As long as builds cannot become OP. 4 kills by killer against coordinated survivors should be VERY difficult to achieve and rare. 3 kills considered a good challenge, 2 kills the average, 1 kill easy, and 0 kills is killer new or not playing well. Doctor and Plague got nerfed not because they are Nurse but because “oMg! tHeY aRe SoOoOo aNnOyInG tO pLaY aGaInSt!” So that’s what they did. Well not a nerf per se but changed their powers and such.
